First topic message reminder :

After arriving on Florasia Island, the first year students of Epochire Academy were lead to an open area outside. Their bags had been taken to a baggage claim room, which left the students free to take the school's enrollment test.
The school's headmaster, a tall male with short, black hair and wearing a formal suit, smiled brightly as he stood before the new students.
"Each and every one of you has been chosen to attend the academy. You have all shown the unharnessed, great potential that we search for when selecting our students. The final part of your enrollment here at the academy involves taking a test. For the test, you will each select two pokeballs from the assortment behind me."
The headmaster motioned to the pokeballs that were arranged a short distance away.
"You will select one for yourself and hand the other to one of these teacher, who will be your opponents. Worry not, for the test is nothing to do with winning or losing. The teachers will analyse how you adapt to working with a pokemon you have never encountered before through the medium of a pokemon battle. My name is Mr. Donovan and if you have any questions I will be happy to answer them."
Mr Donovan pulled a piece of paper from his pocket, "The first three to take the test will be Jikui Poingo, Chris Coldwell and Fabio Crowley."

Jenna nodded as she realised that she wouldn't be taking the test first, and retired to a seat by the sidelines with Lumi whilst the three went to choose their pokemon.

Three different teachers went over to the named students, each leading them over to the assortment of pokeballs and urging them to select two.

So I kinda need some way to remain coherent as to which battle is which, so i'm allocating each of you a colour.
Jiku, your posts should be red and I will reply to your battle in red.
Pika, your posts should be cyan
Fabbri, your posts should be green
Also I will allocate movesets for your character once you reveal the pokemon they chose in your post.

"Double Team then Rock Throw!" called the teacher again, she was protecting Archen from the rock as it would have relocated quickly to make better use of the Double Team, however the rock landed close to the edge of the water rather than flying straight towards Archen. The ginger teacher knew that Carvanha had enough power in it to easily fling that rock further...
"It's a trap!" she called as the group of Archen crept closer to the rock in order to throw it back. Alarmed, the Archen all scattered just as Carvanha's jaws came out of the water, clutching one of the copies in it's midst until it melted away. A red feather however, remained in the Carvanha's mouth meaning that he had only just missed the real Archen.

"Endure!" called Jenna, realising that with Growth the Buneary would end up taking a more damage. Bracing itself for the hit, Buneary endured it, saving it's strength for Jenna's next move.
"Sky Uppercut!" she called, the green tendrils of the Absorb move still sapping at Buneary's health. Still enduring it, the Buneary charged forward to deal a powerful Sky Uppercut to the Cottonee whilst it was still sapping it's health.

"Carvanha! Pick up the rock again and throw it at the Archen missing a feather! Hurry!", Adrian shouted, completely absorbed into the battle.
That teacher was good and she knew it...brute force wouldn't help here.

Being hit by the Sky Uppercut, the Cottonee was thrown high in the air. But, as opposed to the Buneary, it was falling rather slowly. While it was still in the air, the teacher called:
"Okay Cottonee, spin around while using Stun Spore, then follow with Leech Seed again!"
Almost immediately the arena was covered in yellow clouds, the Leech Seeds falling down inbetween, almost resembling hail.

"Quick Attack, dodge it!" she called out. The Archen doing just that. The speed of Archen's movements aided by Quick Attack put the Carvanha at a disadvantage, however the rock type had to keep away from the water.
"Wing Attack!" Using the remnants of the speed from Quick Attack, Archen attempted to hit Carvanha with it's glowing wings.

Realising that there was no way Buneary could dodge all of the seeds, Jenna told the Rabbit Pokemon to use Defense Curl, limiting the amount of seeds that could possibly find their target. However it wasn't enough and some of the seeds latched themselves to Buneary, beginning to sap away it's health.
"Propel yourself into the air again and try and hit Cottonee with Sky Uppercut!"
Jenna was running out of time. The Leech Seeds meant that Buneary would start getting weaker and weaker and there was nothing she could do.

The Wing Attack hit the fish Pokémon, knocking it back into the water. However, not only did the Archen get hurt by the Carvanha's rough skin again, it was also close to the water now.
"Only a bit more, and it's Defeatist ability should take effect.", Adrian hoped.
"Jump up and use Bite!", he commanded the Carvanha.

"Dodge, Cottonee! Use the wind from the Sky Upercut to move to the side! Then Absorb again!"
, the blonde teacher called, while fixing her hair.

The Archen was caught in Carvanha's Bite but kept using it's wings to injure the Savage Pokemon whilst it was close, ignoring the damage sustained by Rough Skin, though it was all beginning to take it's toll.

"Use Sky Uppercut again, but downwards so the force sends you towards the ground," called Jenna. She attempted to help it dodge the Absorb attack, not wanting the Buneary to get hurt again.

"Carvanha! Drag it underwater! You can do it!"
While the Archen seemed to be getting weaker, Carvanha's energy wasn't infinite either. Adrian could do nothing but hope, that Carvanha had enough strength left.

While the Sky Uppercut allowed the Buneary to dodge the Absorb, it also left the Cottonee a lot of time.
"Cottonee, use Growth, then Absorb again!", the teacher called.
While the earlier Sky Uppercut had taken its toll on the Grass type, the Buneary shouldn't have that much energy left either. At least that was what the teacher thought.

"Stop!" the teacher yelled. With Archen's extreme weakness to water, being submerged for extensive periods of time was something that should be avoided for the Pokemon's general health. The red-head waded through the water to collect the Archen and check that it was alright. The battle's outcome didn't need to be decided for the test's completion, so stopping it early was perfectly fine. Sighing in relief, though now dripping wet, the teacher pulled herself and Archen out of the pond and returned the latter to it's pokeball.
"You did well, Adrian," she nodded.

"Roll out of the way!"
The Buneary's superior falling speed had enabled it to already reach the ground. As the absorb drew nearer, it quickly rolled out of the way, the green tendrils connecting with the ground instead of the Rabbit Pokemon.

Gotta buy some time to let confusion wear off... Chris decided and quickly thought of another move.
"Use Low Kick, but use it on the ground!" He called out to the Scraggy. It was confused, but didn't have a whole lot of chances of messing up on hitting the ground. Kicking the ground it sent itself into the air, avoiding the embers for the time being and landing on the other side of the Litwick, though not a graceful landing due to the confusion status.

"Thank you very much. Carvanha, come back!", Adrian spoke as he sent the fish Pokémon back into it's Pokéball and gave it to the teacher.
"You did very well...", he muttered, not even knowing whether he was talking about the teacher or the Carvanha with that remark. Even though he knew, that the test was over, he still couldn't really believe it.
Silently he walked back to the others. And maybe, just maybe he smiled a little.

"Okay, that's enough! Cottonee, come back!", the blonde teacher interrupted.
"There's no need to further prolong this battle. You have been fighting quite well.", she remarked.

As the Scraggy landed neatly on the ground, the male teacher called for the battle to finish. He had all the notes he needed. Pulling a persim berry out of his pocket he walked over to the confused scraggy and gently handed it over, returning Litwick to it's pokeball.
"You were very creative with your moves. I think you'll do very well here," he grinned, holding out his hand to take the Scraggy's pokeball from Chris.

Jenna blinked as the battle was ended and nodded.
"You were awesome, Buneary," Jenna smiled. Lumi made another of her cheerful cries, happy that her trainer had battled so well. Jenna returned Buneary and handed the pokeball back to the teacher before taking a seat. She sat for mere moments before getting to her feet again, asking one of the nearby staff where an area she could train was. She wanted to practice some of these types of move with Lumi, so that when the time came her and her partner could be on the same wavelength when it came to countering or dodging in a unique way.

The ginger teacher, now finished with her second opponent went to fetch the third.
"Edward Achimu?"

Ed heard his name by the ginger teacher and Ed got up. "I am here you can call me Ed for short if you want." Ed said as he walked towards the teacher and grabbed the Poke-ball. Now time to see how well I can do. Ed thought as he closed his eyes and open them and let out a sigh. "I am ready for the test." Ed said as he was ready for what he was going up against.

Chris also moved closer to the Scraggy, smiling and checking to make sure it wasn't too hurt by the battle. Once he saw it was okay he sent it back into his pokeball and handed it back to the teacher, nodding his head as thanks for the compliment, heading away from the testing area along with Tora, who seemed to be pleased with his battling style.

The ginger teacher picked the other pokeball and pulled up the stats of the pokemon inside each ball, on a portable device. Handing the device to Ed, she gave him enough time to read through the information before getting the battle started.

The male teacher called his next opponent, "Emma Shaw?"

The blonde female consulted her list before calling out another name, "Kirito Asuna?"

Kirito had watched several of the matches, and he found himself wondering if he could battle effectively with an unfamiliar pokemon. When the teacher called out his name he took two pokeballs, gave one to the teacher, and stared at the other one in confusion. He pressed the center button and found it amusing that the ball shrunk and grew. He messed around with it a couple of times before the teacher told him how to use it. Of coarse Ren had a pokeball, but it was never used and lied in Kirito's duffle bag, hidden in his socks. Once He threw the ball a flash of light ocored and standing before him was a Slakoth.

"Cool. Are you willing to Fight for me, understanding the hardship, pain and possibility of failure?" Kirito asked the slakoth, it nodded slowly. "Alright, i'll do my best for you too then."

The blonde teacher sent out the pokemon from her pokeball, confirming it to be a Slowpoke. Chuckling she pulled up the details for both pokemon on a portable device and handed it to Kirito.
"The stats for both are on here, including moves and ability," she smiled, "Good luck!"

With that, she lead Kirito over to the sandy area she had used to battle Jenna and stood at the opposite end to her opponent. Slowpoke took up it's position in front of her.
