Located in the centre of an array of islands called the Casepimet Islands is an academy where the most promising of students are educated; Epochire Academy. While being offered the resources to become the champions and leaders of the future, students at Epochire also have the unique advantage of studying in a place where they are surrounded by wilderness just begging to be explored; encouraging students to be proactive in their studies and promoting self-education.

Prospective students have no hope of being considered by this school unless they are recognized as being highly talented. The only way they have a chance of being accepted is if they are sent a formal handwritten letter from the headmaster; informing them that they have been recognized as having exceptional potential and have been chosen to attend.

As a student at this prestigious school, students will be living in one of three houses, House Celebi, House Jirachi or House Manaphy; which are named after their legendary counterparts. A student's house is decided by the headmaster and a gathering of teachers after the student completes an exam upon enrolling at Epochire Academy.

Houses
Epochire Academy has a total of four houses, with three of them still running and the fourth building abandoned. The abandoned House Mew residential area is one of the only areas that students are forbidden from exploring.
Every student who attends Epochire Academy is put into one of these three houses based on the results of a test taken on the day of their enrollment. They will live with their housemates, but will have lessons with students from all other houses.

----Events----

Annual Winter Tournament
A battle tournament held by the school. Only third year students can participate but students of any year can spectate. Held in the academy's amphitheater.

Annual Summer Contest
A contest held by the school. Only fourth year students can participate. It showcases what the students have learned over their four year education. Students of any year can spectate.

Cielazure Island Race
A yearly held race around Cielazure island. Aided by a team of up to three Pokemon, each participating student will have to navigate their way across the island, following the trail as designed by the academy staff. The winner gets a trophy and traditionally their house uses the night to celebrate their success.

Halloween Treasure Hunt
Organised by third and fourth year breeding students, the halloween treasure hunt is always exciting and scary. Students compete in pairs to search Florasia Island for the 'treasures' that have been hidden there/ The spooks and traps are organised by the students studying pokemon breeding and change every year. The prize is choice of a pokemon egg from the ones currently incubating.

Christmas Festivities
Most often organised by the third and fourth year coordinator students, the christmas festivities are always varied. Occasionally it will be just a nice meal and a jolly atmosphere but sometimes there are games such as sledding or snowball fight, as well as plays and performances by the coordinators.

----The Casepimet Islands----
The varied climates and landscapes on these five islands are the reason why Epochire Academy was built here. They allow for all types of Pokemon to flourish in the varied environments, giving students an opportunity to learn about the different habitats preferred by each Pokemon.

Florasia
The central island and the one that the school itself as well as it's facilities and dormitories are located on. Mostly grassy areas with sandy pathways. There is a forest on the north side of the island though students are always warned to not stay in the woods after dark. A few caves can also be found throughout the forest. Florasia experiences snow in the winter.

Cielazure
This island is what most would consider a beautiful place. With wooded areas as well as open meadows, lakes and rivers, this island tends to be the most favoured by the students at Epochire due to it's tranquil environment. The ruins of a shrine belonging to an ancient civilisation are hidden within the woods here.

Dustrin
This island is covered mostly in harsh shrubland and in parts, sandy desert areas. It is generally avoided by most unless students are accompanied by a teacher whilst learning about ground types.

Nieva
The northernmost positioned island of the five, Nieva is home to dense pine forests. A mountain range also lies on this island, with snow covering them most of the year. This island is the coldest area, even during the summer which makes it the preferred habitat of ice types. Cave and rocky tunnels can also be found in the mountains, becoming homes for some steel types.

Blazori
Out of the four islands, this one is the furthest away from the main, central island of Florasia. Students are not allowed to come here without the supervision of an adult from the academy's staff due to the dangerous valleys of magma and lava that are found here due to the volcano located on the island.
