| Roseli Academy: A prestigious Pokemon Academy. Here, trainers mainly from rich Kalos backgrounds are taught to be the very best, like no one ever was. It is located on one of the points if Kalos, specifically the Southwestern most one. Here is where many young trainers get their start to do great things in the future of their Pokemon careers.
This year, however, was different because of 5 students. They were the known as the Regional Representatives. Each budding trainer was from a different region and none of them had rich backgrounds. Instead, they were all full of potential and ended up having all of their expenses paid by the school to attend this famous boarding school, including covering the cost for their supplies, uniforms, and books. Since they came from outside of Kalos, a small yet fancy ship had picked them up instead of the usual train that brought students native to the region to Roseli Academy.
They had been picked up in the order of first Kanto, then Johto, Hoenn, Orre, Sinnoh and finally Unova. The cruise had picked up the Kanto representative 3 days ago and the Unova representative only yesterday. Now their journey was coming to its end. The ship's intercom had announced they'd dock at the Academy in under an hour and that everyone should get their uniforms on and pack their things. They were to meet up on the deck in a few minutes to get a quick briefing.
- - - - -
Cassidy "Cass" Green was surprised to hear the announcement that the ship had almost reached its destination, yet relieved at the same time. Being the Johto representative, she had been one of the first picked up, and thus one of the future students who had been on this darned ship for the longest. It had been a boring ride, spent tinkering with some of the technology supplied by the school and reading the textbooks. Cass wasn't really social with the other students who she would end up spending a lot of time with. She had been able to pick up their names but only striked up a conversation with them once or twice.
Cassidy's room in the ship was about the size of a normal bedroom. It wasn't anything really special, but it was comfortable. In the corner was a closet, and the slender black-haired girl began looking through it, pulling out suitcases, bags, and supplies she had taken out, along with her uniform.
Cass quickly undressed from the t-shirt and shorts she had slept in ( it was only around 9 AM ) and changed into her beige uniform. She studied herself in a tall mirror as she fixed her hair into two short twin-tails. Her uniform wasn't the best thing, but it was usable and would work. She didn't like the plaid brown skirt, though she didn't like skirts in general. She figured all the rich kids were used to wearing them, or at least the fashionable ones. She was neither. Skirts made her feel uncomfortable and exposed. She had watched enough anime to be wary of panty shots.
To remedy this, Cass found a pair of shorts that were shorter than her skirt and slip them on under her uniform skirt. There, much better, she thought to herself. Once that was settled, Cassidy began to finish repacking her supplies.

| Alouette Rosenthal was the Hoenn representative. She was a bubbly young girl with teal eyes and long, wavy pale brown hair that she always wore up in a messy, ponytail. She had grown up around a lot of pokemon as her parents, two accomplished pokemon breeders, were constantly taking in new pokemon, whether they be abandoned eggs from the region's 'daycare' facilities, or helping rehabilitate injured pokemon to release back into their natural habitat.
Generally, Alouette was an incredibly active person, constantly on the move and never bored, thus the near two-day long ferry journey from Hoenn had been rather tedious for her. She had attempted to talk to a few of the other Regional Representatives, but most had opted only for small snippets of conversation. Due to this, Alouette had spent most of those two days exploring the small ship. She had spent so much time occupying herself in this way that she appeared to know every nook and cranny of the boat already.
This morning, Alouette had awoken early and was outside staring out at the approaching form of Kalos in her new school uniform before the sun had even risen over the horizon. It was one of the rare moments that she was content enough to not be moving around or exploring someplace.
Similarly to Cassidy, Alouette had worn a pair of shorts beneath the plaid skirt of the uniform. Being used to wearing trousers all her life, she had felt rather uncomfortable wearing the skirt on it's own. Alouette's ponytail was tied up with a white ribbon, the tips of which faded into an aqua blue colour.
As the sun finally finished rising, Alouette headed back to her room on the ship, deciding to spend the next few hours perfectly repacking everything so that it fit as neatly as possible.

| Calypso Lotus only had been on the small luxury boat for one day, but she had come to a perfect conclusion about the painted ferry.
It was a horrible torture device.
The Sinnoh Representative, had thrown up no less than six times during the 24 hours she was forced to stay on the boat, as it was bashed around on his journey to pick up the five people. Not that she wasn't grateful that she got to attend the prestigious academy, she was (Although she didn't understand her 'potential' and probably never would) and she certainly wasn't going to throw this chance of a lifetime away, but something about her didn't agree with boats, nor any other form of transportation other than bike or foot or the like.
Calypso was staring out of the horizon, a supposed remedy to motion sickness in general, slightly cranky because of her lack of sleep because of her affliction, when the sound of a machine crackling to life came to inform the soon to be students to get ready since they would be arriving in less than an hour, and they would meet on the deck within a few minutes. Sighing the girl closed her charcoal brown eyes before turned away from the railing and quickly running towards her room.
It was a pretty big bedroom for most boats she assumed at the corner of her mind that wasn't steeling herself from the lightheadedness she began to feel, so she quickly sorted through the jumble of stuff on her bed (Calyspo was really feeling the pain of not organizing during the ride and mentally noted to put everything in a perfect place for it when she was at the school) before finally grabbing the tan uniform and pulled it over her slightly wrinkled white shirt (she slightly remembered before she boarded that they would be wearing a sort of collared shirt underneath the sweater, and wore it so she wouldn't have to do it later) before glancing at the skirt cringing slightly. It wasn't that it was not that pretty being the cause of the slight contempt, it was that it still shown a sign of fashion, something she somewhat turned away from her life, trying to hide in the crowd, never trying to be notice, infact she often did everything she could to stay away as far away from the spotlight as possible...But since it was the school uniform then it would be the standard... So grudgingly she put on the skirt. (OOC: Later she realized that she could have put shorts underneath and felt like a doofus /shot)
A little bit later (after she felt some vertigo and quickly dashed outside) she started 'packing', throwing her things in an very disorderly way, when a clump of her unruly hair swung into her eyes, (she tried to smooth her hair back after brushing didn't work and she got kind of really sick for doing that on a boat) so with annoyance she grabbed two clips and jammed it into her vibrant blood-red hair, in an attempt to tame it momentarily. Finished, with the dizzy feeling washing over her in waves constantly gaining in strength, she tried to stumble upstairs, failed, and rushed to the bathroom.
The Sinnoh Representative had made a perfect conclusion about this boat after throwing up no less than seven times....

| Lilith Wolfsbane:
The Kanto representative was slightly annoyed to hear, that they were going to reach their destibnation soon. It would mean one thing for certain: More people. It was bad enough, that she had been forced to spend four days on this boat with the other representatives, but at least she had been able to avoid them relatively well by picking the most remote room on the ship. A ship. Why did it have to be a ship? Would she not have had her herbs helping her with keeping her stomach inside her, Lilith would probably have spent much more time hanging over the ship's rail. At least the various plants she had brought with her were still alive. Carefully the Kanto representative packed everything together, hoping, that there were other students with an interest in these rather exotic plants. On second thought, hopefully there wouldn't be any. Hopefully they would all be creeped out enough to simply leave her alone. The last thing Lilith needed was pity. Just in time she put on her annoyingly boring school uniform before leaving her room, her baggage being carried awkwardly.

| ((No i am not using Tora.))
A young lady with flowing red hair looked at her bag as she made sure everything was in it. She had a check list, a notebook containing everything she knew of pokemon from her region, and a pair of glasses that sat on her nose's bridge. She went over her list twice before setting it in the rolling drag-along bag, and looked over to the skirt that she was "required" to wear. She swore if she was a purrloin she would hiss at it and tear it to shreds. Which is why she wore normal tan PANTS with the regular shirt. She cared not if she got in trouble, surely the principal or whoever was in charge would be willing to work out a deal. She would rather wear the men's uniform rather than touch the skirt! She gave a huff and pinched the skirt with her thumb and pointing finger, reluctantly placing the skirt in with her items, and zipped the bag shut.
The skirt was a symbol of being a woman, and this civilian of Orre had had enough of frilly skirts and dresses, her mother being a fashionista despite having so little money and go as far as selling her daughter to display dresses in low class beauty pageants. The female rolled her eyes at the memory, desiring her an icecream cone right about now. She rolled her bag off the bed, and made her way to the deck, not caring that all the other females were in their skirts. Her name, was August Summers.
(Btw BUCK NO TO THE SKIRT and MOST ORIGINAL NAME EVER)

| An elderly woman wearing plenty of makeup to help mask her age sat on the deck. Her many years of traveling by seas had made her build up an immunity to sea sickness, unlike some of the others currently traveling on the same vassal. Her thin arms were neatly folded on the built-in table she sat at and her short gray hair blew gently in her face. On the table was a touchscreen with many buttons facing the woman. She tapped a few of the buttons on the screen and brought up a menu containing lots of colorful Pokemon native to her home region. When she noticed the future Roseli students meeting up, she tapped a button and the screen went blank. She looked up at them and smiled, waving them over to her.
- - - -
Cass, now all packed and ready, brought her baggage up to the deck, only to find everyone else already there. She sighed and walked with them, eventually speeding to a fast walk and pushing to the font of the group. The lack of boys as representatives was amusing to the Johto native. Out of all of them, only one was a guy. How awkward it must be to be that fellow!

| With her belongings all packed and ready up on the deck, Alouette continued to stare out at the horizon until the elderly woman waved the group of Regional Representatives over to her. Curious, she quickly jogged over, reaching the table shortly after Cassidy did.

| August found herself on the deck, she looked around to see that the other girls had also come out. She turned to see an elderly woman seemingly waiting for them, and seemed to be wearing way too much makeup for August's taste and made he flinch slightly. She got over it quickly and made her way over, dragging her bag with her. She paid no mind that she was the only one not in the complete school uniform, seeing as it was her choice and she was not about to chicken out just because of peer pressure.
August approached the woman, "Hi~" she greeted the elderly lady cheerfully.

| Calypso walked on deck with her belongings, feeling better after she threw up. Hoping that she wouldn't upchuck anymore times during the trip, she was feeling nervous now her mind wandered. What were they going to do? Maybe this was a fluke and they were going to be sent back. Maybe they were going to lose power and- She stopped herself. She wouldn't panic like this. Feeling the butterflies were definitely okay, but panicking and making a bunch of random, improbable ideas were a definite no-no. Calming down, she suddenly realized that she was biting her nails, a wonderful thing to be showing a probably high-class person/maybe her new instructor her best habit. Wait, no she already shown the woman her greatest habit. Throwing up.
Suddenly she realized she was doing it again. Making a big fuss about something probably tiny. That was her real, worst habit. She had a tendency to freak about things, to overreact whenever her mind wasn't busy. Maybe it was a way to keep her mind working, Calypso really didn't know. She tried pushing it out, and it worked, sometimes. Forgetting to do so allowed her fears to come back, her mind working tirelessly against her. The Sinnoh Representative shook her head mentally, and looked up. "Hello." she said politely.

| As Lilith arrived on deck, she found herself momentarily mesmerized by the blue depths of the sea and the various beasts potentially lurking deep within it. Then she found herself mesmerized for a more direct reason. In the water directly in front of her bubbles were forming. Was one of these terrors of the deep really going to emerge right in front of her very face? Magninficent. The fear on her classmates' faces would be a spectacle. More and more bubbles rose to the surface, finally revealing...a Luvdisk. Great.
The now severely disappointed Lilith focussed her attention on the elderly woman instead, making her move in her general direction while still staying as far away from the other girls as possible.

| Liam felt the sun warming the side of his face and slowly came to the realization he was awake. Groaning, he rolled over away from the cabin window and threw the sheets over his head. Pinching his eyes shut, he tried to force himself to slip back to sleep. The bed was soft, the sheets were warm, and he was still that hazy place between sleep and waking. If only the boat would stop rocking, he thought.
His heart skipped a beat. He was on a boat because of the Academy. He had a meeting this morning.
He tossed the sheets up into the air and threw himself off the bed. He hit the floor and looked up at his clock. His eyes opened wide. The meeting had already started!
“Crap crap crap crap crap…” Liam cursed under his breath as he picked himself up of the floor and ran over to the cabin’s closet. He flung open the door and scrambled through his wardrobe to find his new uniform. Still in a white undershirt and boxers, he began a flustered attempt to dress himself.
As he threw his beige shirt over his torso, he mentally chided himself. He always did this. Why the Hell did they have to make beds so comfortable? Maybe he should sleep on the floor from now on. Liam practically jumped into his pants and fumbled with the buttons on his shirt. Outside the porthole, the sun was already high in the sky. Oh man, they were going to kill him! He could hear it now. All the “Why can’t you do this?” and the “You should be like that!” Man, what a drag!
Liam examined himself in the small mirror he had brought along. His hair was a black, ruffled mess and he had forgotten to shave again. A noticeable goatee was building up around his chin. He noticed the odd grey hair on his head and sighed. Why hadn't he colored it or something? The clothes he had picked out also seemed a too small for his fame. He licked his hand and tried his best to smooth out his hair. Many of the loose strands just popped up again. He huffed in frustration. It would have to do.
Grabbing his shoes, Liam yanked open his room’s door and rushed out into the hall. He nearly ran into a man dressed in white rolling around a food cart. He grabbed tightly onto the cart with his free hand and steadied it. Then, waving his hand in apology, took off again down the hall.
“Crap crap crap! This is so stupid!” he said under his breath as he tore around the corner. Stumbling, he reached for one foot and jammed a shoe on, hopping down the hall. This shoe was soon followed by the other. Now sprinting down the hall at full speed, his feet pounding on the floor, he thanked his stars he was in shape.
“Crap!” he suddenly thought. “Were the guys suppose to wear ties?! Did I bring a tie? Damnit! No time to go back now!” He turned another corner and saw the opening to the deck of the ship. “Jazz!” he exclaimed. It was a nonsense phrase, but it was one he had used for as long as he could remember.
Before he exited onto the deck, he slowed down and regained his composure. It would be stupid to come running in like a complete wreck. He caught his breath and then sauntered onto the deck, cool as could be. Waving a hand in apology, he said “Sorry I’m late! It seems my alarm broke. Hope I didn’t keep you all waiting.” He smiled and hoped he didn't have to put up with too much complaining.

| The woman waited for everyone to arrive, not paying much heed to lateness or uniform differences. She still smiled and nodded at the greetings she got from the students. She took a deep breath, cleared her throat, and began to talk.
"Welcome, Regional Representatives! Welcome to Roseli Academy. My name is Penelope Maryanne Roseli, also known as the Headmistress of Roseli Academy. Whether or not the school is named after the berry or my family is still a mystery, even to myself," she joked with a small, yet warm, chuckle.
"The time of my retirement draws near, though. I've been running and supervising my home for over 40 years, and it is now time for me to pass the baton to my daughter. As is Roseli tradition, the retiring headmistress or headmaster gets to select 6 students, one from each other region, to have a year at the academy. Do not worry about there being only one year, since I believe you can all get to attend for years to come. You are all very bright students! Out of all the trainers interviewed, I have complete confidence that you were the best possible choices."
The former Headmistress took a pause, surveying everyone to see whether or not they were bored of her monologue that she had been rehearsing weeks prior to this date. She sighed, and began again.
"Now, we are nearing the Academy. If you look behind me, you can see it coming closer and closer into view. It will be only minutes until we arrive. Here you will choose your three Roseli Academy starter Pokemon, which you will be able to keep long after you've graduated." Headmistress Roseli turned the screen on the table back on, showing pictures of Kalos native Pokemon in neat lists, along with the six students' names in buttons on the side.
"One at a time, I'd like you all to tap your name and then the three Pokemon you want. As long as they are listed here, they can be an eligible starter Pokemon. The Pokemon you picked will be delivered to you, along with further instruction, when we reach the shore. Take your time and think this through, as you won't be able to change your selection once you've confirmed it."
And with that, the retiring Headmistress slid her chair backwards a bit and then gave the students a chance to pick their three beginning partners.

| Alouette listened intently to the former Headmistress' speech, finding it to be a welcome distraction from the boredom of the quiet ship that she had taken to exploring in the past few days. After she had explained how they would be choosing their Pokemon, Alouette took a few moments to think about which Pokemon she would choose. Scanning the lists, her expression broadened into a grin as she noticed what appeared to be the cutest looking Pokemon (in her opinion). She had heard about this species before, but due to them being native to only Kalos, she had never gotten the chance to learn much about them; Noibat would be her first choice.
It took a little longer for her to decide on the next two, but she soon decided on Sneasel and Skorupi. With her final decisions in mind, Alouette glanced around the group. No one seemed to be making a move forward yet. With a small breath, she decided to step up and be the first. After all, she had already made her choices and somebody had to go first.
Nervously stepping over to the table, she gently tapped her name, before finding each of the Pokemon she had chosen and tapping those. Upon being asked to confirm her selection, she hesitated for only mere milliseconds before sealing her choices in stone. "Thankyou, ma'am," she smiled, grateful that she was being given an opportunity like this, to be able to study at such a prestigious school.

| After a long time of the headmistress talking and Lilith listening - listening to the ocean's waves that is - the moment had finally come for her to choose her companions, with whom she would be traveling through the fog of future uncertainty. She had to choose carefully, or she would not be able to brave the hollow forest of lies, deceit and other hardships she would have to face.
Making a descision was difficult, and a few times Lilith simply had to shake her head, especially when the more cute Pokémon popped op on the screen, but after a while she settled on three of the creatures presented to her:
Poochyenna, Murkrow and Phantump.
During the entire process, she did not speak a single word, and even as Lilith walked away again, she remained silent. She had a lot to ponder upon, so any useless communication would only disrupt her concentration.

| Calyspo inhaled, two trainers walked forward, and picked their Pokemon, and she figured it was now or never to go and attempt to pick her partners, her friends. Third out of six isn't a bad amount, it showed neither brashness, nor weakness and fear, which she didn't have, and anyways, three is the magic number isn't it? Three Pokemon, third in line, yes please. The Sinnoh Representative stepped forward.
Slightly surprised at the high tech equipment, she looked over the Pokemon, each a candidate, each a wonder. Quite a few of them, she never seen before, and she took to those, deciding to find Pokemon that she never knew so the entire thing would be like a pleasant surprise, like opening a present even.
After narrowing it down to the Kalos Region, she looked over some of the Pokemon. Some she skipped over quickly, others her eyes lingered for a minute, before moving on, yet none of the Pokemon spoke to her as much as one of them did.
An Espurr... She thought carefully, indeed, it almost seemed like it was trying to pull her in. It was indeed, a tad cute, with it's furry body and oval ears, and even it's purple gaze, unnervingly wide open, like in shock, was somewhat adorable in a way, like a kid that heard it's mother call for him and knew he was busted.
She selected that one, before returning to looking at more Pokemon. Despite the rest of the Pokemon not having an as strong "bond" as she thought of the strange occurrence, she went back to the top and searched again, more thoroughly, she finally found what she was looking for, despite skipping over it the last time. A Fetchling, a sort of fire sparrow, who definitely seemed more agile than the stocky Starling back at home, yet more fragile to. Yet there was something about the way the Pokemon seemed to hold itself, their grace that made her want to pick the Pokemon. She selected that one and then searched for the last one.
The final Pokemon was definitely the hardest. After feeling like she searched every nook and cranny, she was about to give up and choose a Bedew, the younger evolution of a Roserade, like her mother's. That was when she saw it. Calyspo didn't know how she missed her. The air around the Pokemon radiated well, virtue. It seemed to embody something else entirely, something magical, something that was holy, something else, combined into one little Pokemon. Maybe because it had so much innocence, and such it gave itself an unassuming appearance, she didn't really know. Quickly she mentally slapped herself, for acting so much over a Pokemon she didn't even know the name of, and picked it (finding out it was an Amaura then). Quickly she mumbled her thanks to the Professor, and walked away, wondering about her choices.
