Jak {10} ^{-16 from travels}

Jak had heard there was a special kind of ribbon you can get that would help improve your experience as you fought in dungeons and other places. It was called a Joy Ribbon oddly. It sounded like a odd name for a ribbon to him. Someone had mentioned that they are found in Black Mist Mountain. It was quite a ways out there to travel. He did expect to have to camp out for a bit as he went there. He thought maybe he could give it to someone as a gift or get one for himself. He was not entirely sure at the time.

He thought for a bit as he traveled.

One night he set up a camp for the night and noticed a storm was coming. It was coming fast. He found a nearby cave to wait for it to past. After a while he noticed the storm might be a while so he would have to set up a camp there for now...

As the storm had hit. There was a massive amount of lightning in it. The sheer amount of it was a little worrying. There was no rain at first but as the wind started to pick up. The rain came down like a waterfall. The amount of thunder occurring was immense. "Glad I am not out there..." He said with a sigh.

Then suddenly a very powerful bright ball of energy appears next to the cave. Jak was a bit freaked out as being that far from it still felt like he was about to be hit with a very powerful electrical attack. He went towards the back of the cave as the ball of energy moved slowly past it then shot towards the direction of the town he had left. "Oh god that does not look good! What is that!" he said with a frightful tone.

It then vanished as it got some distance. Never reaching the town only to have an extremely powerful bang occur that hurt his head pretty badly.
'Why was that sooooo loud....' he though as he held onto his head in pain. As his head started to feel better he looked around the cave to see if anyone else was in there.. He did not want to go to sleep to find out someone had been staying in there the whole time waiting for him.

"Ouch" was all a Lucario uttered as she held her head in pain. She sat up and looked around to see she had landed in some sort of cave. She said cave but all that was keeping her cover from the rain was a large rock above her. "How did I get here?" She asks herself as she looked around but first something appeared next to her. "Wahh" she yells as she falls on her ass and looks at the figure. It was a Gardevoir who looked at Noel.

"You, you are a friend of my daughter Azeral correct?" She says as Noel nods. "Look for a charmander named Jak" she said as she disappears in a flash. "Weird" Noel said out loud

Jak heard some voices coming from deeper within the small cave. He was not entirely sure what was going on but there was definitely someone in there. "Hello?" he said towards the deeper end of the cave. He went around some of the rocks in the area that could hide someone behind them. He did not see anyone at first then he looked towards the back of the cave. "Anyone there?" he asked readying his claws in case something decided to jump out and attack.

Noel looked up the mountain as she sighed. "I fell off the damn mountain didn't i" she said as she forced palmed the ground making a dent the size of a tree which caused the cave to move. "Damn" she said as she looked up. "So Angel wants Jak huh? Wonder why?" She asked as she heard a noise. "A Lucario" she yelled out to the voice

Jak heard the voice return a response. "A Lucario" it shouted back. The voice sounded familiar to him however he did not decide to ask who it was at the time. "If this is your territory. I humbly wish to stay for the night to stay out of this storm." he said as another large clap of thunder occurred.

He kept alert to make sure he was not attacked. Keeping his claws at the ready until he heard a response back or if it decided to come out. He however remained still in a defensive stance in case. He did not plan on attacking at all. If he was attacked. He would only attempt to dodge and block any oncoming attacks. He only knew from experience that some pokemon in dungeons are non aggressive. He was not sure if this was one of them at the time.

Noel was on the ground as she heard the voice sound back. She laughed. "Really Jak it's me Noel" she said as she rolled on her back and placed her paws on the ground. She then extended them and pushed herself off the ground and into the air. She then placed her feet on the ground for a second before dashing towards the edge of the cave right in front of Jak. "Yo" she said with a smirk as she stood up

Jak listened and heard the Lucario shout back. It was not just any Lucario. It was Noel. "Noel?" he said softly as Noel had dashed towards him. He got out of his defensive stance as he had heard her mention her name. "Sorry about that. I did not expect you here..." He said


"The storm out there is pretty bad right now." he said as he looked towards the cave's entrance. It was down pouring pretty heavily right then. He looked back towards Noel. "So... I thought I heard another voice, or was that just an echo? Also how did you get here?" he said as he did not notice any entrances on that side of the cave. The only one was where he came through unless Noel was in the cave the whole time...

"Ya does look like a huge storm." She said as he started to ask him questions. "Ok question time well there wasn't another exit to the cave i kinda made one" she said as she scratched the back of her head. "I fell down the mountain and right smack into the cave wall breaking it though good thing it gave me cover from the rain" she said with a smile. She wasn't hurt to badly but she felt bad for now. "That was Angel she's a Gardevoir she teleported to me to ask me something. Actually she was looking for you" she told him

Jak listened to how Noel had gotten into the cave. He looked back towards where he had found Noel. He did notice some kind of light coming from back there. "Ah.. That sounded like it would hurt..." He said. He took a moment to think. 'I didn't hear her smash through the cave wall though. Unless it occurred at the same time that loud bang occurred when that weird ball of energy vanished after shooting towards town...' He thought.

"Angel? A Gardevoir is looking for me?" he question. "I wonder why...." He said wondering why some random pokemon would be looking for him.

"Ya it did hurt pretty badly" Noel said as she rubbed her arm. "Felt like getting hit with a Iron tail" she told him as he said something along the lines of why she wanted him. "Don't know maybe Azeral found something that belonged to you. Do you write your name on things you own and have you lost something important?" She asks considering that might be it. But wouldn't Angel give Noel the object?

Jak shook his head no as he asked about him writing his name on things. He did not even have anything to put his name on anyways. He only has consumable supplies... 'It can't be...' he thought. "I... I don't have anything I would even put my name on.... I don't usually do it either." he said his mind was now racing a mile per second. "It. It has to be one of my friends!" He said with a very obvious shocked expression. He could not believe that he might be able to see his friends again. They were looking for him!

"It just has to be!" he said. He then looked towards the entrance of the cave. The rain was relentless. He sighed. "I can't go looking for them in this..." he said with a somewhat sad expression. "It is also getting late..." he looked back towards Noel. "You think it could be one of my friends?" he decided to ask Noel.

"Huh well you should put your name on things, makes it easier for others to get it back to you" she said as she heard him say it might be one of his friends. "Ya there is a good chance it could be one of your friends. Azeral is nice so she would be good for your friend to be around" Noel said as she looked around the area. "But it's getting late so I think you should wait until morning to travel. It takes a few days to get there without teleporting so better pace yourself"

Jak looked at Noel. He had an option right now... Either go see if it was his friend looking for him or to continue on his journey to the mountain. It has already been a bit of time to even get this far. He decided he could head back when he is done. If what Noel said is true. His friend should be in good hands.

"Well. I think I should finish my task here first. I don't want to have traveled this far for no reason..." he said somewhat depressed at his own decision. "If my friend is with Azeral and you said she is nice. I am sure he will do fine for now." He said hoping that he was not wrong.

"I think that's a wise choice. Unless Angel comes back for some reason I don't think you will get to town quickly. So better do what you came here to do." She then thinks for a moment before asking. "And what is it you came here to do?" She asks wondering why her came to the mountain. Did he want to go to the peak like she and Serena had done before. It would make sense but she felt like this wasn't the true reason. Might be something else

Jak looked at Noel. "I came looking for a particular type of item." he said with a slight smile. "It is supposed to help someone gain experience as they wear it."

He looked towards the storm. "At this rate if this storm keeps up. It might be a bit of time before I can continue this task." he said with a somewhat down tone. "The weather can't stay like this forever though." he smiled again.

"So if you don't mind me asking. How come you are here?" Jak decided to ask.
