| Deimos, having been in the nearby area at the time had figured it was about time for him to begin working on his little 'Challenge' that the Burmy had set for him. He hadn't particularly thought much of the challenge, seeing that it was just a case of defeating three opponents while present there, something that wasn't particularly unreasonable considering his physical strength and prior battle experience in the area.
Deimos found himself cautiously moving through the mist towards the higher section of the Hill, aiming to find more Foes that he would have an advantage against... There was no point to put himself in an extremely risky situation after all, he couldn't complete the challenge if dead. The Absol had his eyes closed as he walked, mind deep in concentration. Deimos intended to utilize his sensory power heavily here as it provided him an advantage in the fights that he was predicting.

"Geez, I always hate walking through this place," the Charmander murmured under his breath as he made his way through the thick mist in the area. It was so hard to see anything in this mist, and it certainly didn't help that everything he could see looked exactly the same. It was very difficult to avoid getting lost in here if one wasn't particularly careful about how they approached the situation. But unfortunately for him, Hidon was not very good at such careful planning. He had been through this area once before, scouting out potential teammates for him to recruit. But now that he had a team to call his own, he had decided to return here for the original purpose.
This environment was commonly seen as mildly creepy and there were supposedly plenty of Ghost-type Pokémon in the area. He had allowed himself to be intimidated and scared by a feral Pokémon in one of his previous adventures. And he was here now to strengthen his resolve and to increase his inner strength. He was going to brave this place completely this time...and he wasn't going to go back empty-handed for sure. But unfortunately, that left him with the problem of actually finding this abandoned building that was here somewhere. He had found it mostly by luck last time.
And so, the Charmander continued wandering blindly, his tail flame functioning much like a flashlight in the mist. "Hey, anybody out there...?" he suddenly called out. At this point, he didn't care who heard him. If it was a feral Pokémon, then fine. He'd just have to beat them and keep going. But if he was lucky, maybe there'd be another Pokémon out here somewhere that could show him the way?

| Deimos continued scaling the hill, a great sense of determination to get his challenge complete existing within him. He understood that he just had to defeat three Pokemon, regardless of what they were. However, he didn't intend to assault non Feral Pokemon if he didn't have to... He didn't want to draw too much negative attention.
The Absol kept his mind clear and focused on the area, knowing that he would need to use his advantage as well as possible in such a large expanse of white... It was advantageous to him yes, but he understood that if he grew careless it would become a double edged sword. He couldn't afford to be the one defeated this time when his only lead on 'her' location would have a chance at being discovered amongst the organisation, this task was far more personal to him than one would think.
Hearing a voice amongst the Sea of white, Deimos paused and sighed. He soon picked up on the imprints of a familiar species in the ground... That of a Charmander. From the voice, he quickly understood it was from that one Charmander from before... 'Hidon'. He didn't vocally answer, instead glancing towards the direction the voice had came from. Seeing the flaming tail of the Pokemon, Deimos smirked faintly to himself.
He understood that the light emanating from the Pokemon's tail also could be a double edged sword, it removed almost all hope of remaining stealthy amongst he concealing mists. With a quiet sigh he merely walked in the opposite direction, aiming to avoid the obvious target until hostiles made themselves present... Kill two birds with one stone.

| Hidon continued making his way through the mist, not seeing any sign of another Pokémon at first. But then, a couple seconds later, he could make out some kind of form. There was a silhouette in the mist! He couldn't quite make out the form of the Pokémon he was seeing, but he could swear it looked vaguely familiar. Shrugging it off, though, he began making his way toward the shadow, calling out to it once more. "Hey, you there!" he called out. But, strangely enough, no matter how much he walked, he didn't seem to be getting as close to him as he really should be, given their relative distance and the speed at which he was moving. But it didn't take him long to realize just why he wasn't getting any closer. He could just barely make out movement in that silhouette. The Pokémon, whoever it was, was actually walking AWAY from him!
Suddenly, Hidon's anger sparked. Who did this Pokémon think he was, just ignoring his cry like that? What kind of Pokémon would just completely ignore him? What if he had been some kind of helpless Pokémon in need of assistance? And yet, for some reason, the Charmander couldn't shake this vague feeling of déjà vu. For some reason, this whole scenario seemed somewhat familiar, but he couldn't quite put his claw on it....
Well, one thing was for sure. He wasn't going to be getting any answers unless he actually caught up with the Pokémon. And so, he quickened his pace. He essentially turned what was a simple walk into a dash, attempting to catch up with the Pokémon, whoever it was. "Hey, you ignoring me on purpose!?" he growled at the Pokémon, obviously annoyed. "Come back here already!"

| Deimos had merely kept walking, having naturally sensed that the Charmander, Hidon, was following him at a similar pace. Deimos had intended to avoid the Pokemon until Ferals revealed themselves, but it appeared that option was out of the picture. He increased his own pace as the Charmander did, mentally taking his time to work out the relative speed of the Pokemon.
Once he had a general idea of where to place a certain something, Deimos shifted into a sprint, using stone edge to set up a small, strong piece of earth that he was hoping would trip the Pokemon. He was hoping such a ploy would enable him to escape vision so he could observe freely until the moment turned favourable.

| Hidon growled when it became apparent that he was still not able to catch up to the strange Pokémon's silhouette. Even he could work out what that meant. This strange Pokémon as actually, actively ignoring and moving away from him! There could be no other possible explanation! Who did this Pokémon think he was, just marching off and ignoring him completely!? When he caught up with him at last, he made a mental note to himself to teach this guy what ignoring Hidon the Charmander would get him! Finally, Hidon had decided that he'd had enough of this. He decided that he was going to speed things up. No matter who this other Pokémon was, they wouldn't be able to outpace him for long! He would no doubt have the superior endurance! And so, he turned his dash into a sprint of his own, trying to catch up with Deimos. However, that was not all that he did. He planned on utilizing his Flame Charge to speed himself up...but just as his flames were beginning to ignite around his body, his foot struck something solid. "WAGH!" Hidon cried out as his foot caught the stone, causing him to fall over and land flat on his stomach, lower jaw laid flat on the floor in front of him. "Ow..." he muttered, quickly looking down and seeing the stone that he'd failed to notice before. Even he didn't need to be told that this wasn't natural. "What was THAT for!?" he roared, sitting himself upright and looking around...no longer seeing the silhouette. Whoever that Pokémon was, there was no way he'd be tracking him down any longer. "UGH!" he growled in frustration, kicking at the solid piece of earth again, only to flinch and recoil slightly in pain. | Deimos has turned his walk into a faster dash, making certain to do his best to get away from the pursuing Charmander, hoping to lure it into the little trap he had put in place. Once he had reached a suitable distance, Deimos began scanning the ground once more, aiming to see if he could find a suitable vantage point.
He sensed a ledge further up above and smirked slightly, breaking his generally cold, calm and calculated demeanor. He understood there was a quicker way to get up there than heading around, but it'd be relatively painful for him. Instead of just going ahead with what he could have done, he shook his head and swiftly ran around to get up to the vantage point.
He carefully scaled up the hill to the ledge and merely waited, staring into the vast ocean of white before him. He closed his eyes and chuckled faintly, once again shattering the general Demeanor that had become normal to him. He could see the light of the Charmander's tail radiating amongst the white... Like a beacon.

| Hidon grumbled as he rubbed his foot. He waited until it actually started to stop its throbbing before he went back to scanning the area around him. But of course, like usual, this did him no good whatsoever. There wasn't even so much as a silhouette anywhere around him anymore. Whoever that Pokémon was, they had gotten away from him. The anger that resurfaced was almost enough to make him kick the stone a second time. Thankfully, he thought better of it at the last second, though, and stopped himself. So far, this trip had done absolutely nothing for his training. He was hoping to find something creepy to deal with and increase his inner strength or something...but the only sign of life he'd seen thus far was that one silhouette, who was obviously ignoring him and keeping his distance.
And then it hit him. The Charmander quickly scanned the area around him once more. Was that Pokémon hiding amongst the mist somewhere? He cast a quick glance at his tail flame, which was likely betraying his exact location to anything else that might be in the mist. Initially, he had thought that it was perfect, since he wanted to not only use it to light his way but to also attract whatever wild or feral Pokémon he could to his location. Or maybe, if he was lucky, a lost traveler that would allow him to play the heroic bodyguard. He hadn't even considered the fact that his flame could also be used to stalk him. Then...was that what that Pokémon was doing now? Hiding in the mist somewhere, watching? He HAD been having this strange feeling that he was being watched...but he'd also been feeling that for a while now. The environment tended to make him slightly paranoid. Not that he'd ever admit that aloud, of course.
"H-hey!" he called out, now sounding a little bit more unnerved than before. "Wh-why don't you just show yourself!? I-I know you're there and I won't be taken by surprise!"

| Deimos merely remained stationary on the higher ledge, eyes closed, deep in concentration as he scanned the area for disturbances. He understood that even though the beacon like tail of the Charmander would draw the most attention, He could still potentially be found and attacked by Feral beings... He had to remain cautious.
Sensing a rapidly shifting distortion in the earth at an astounding speed charging towards the beacon like tail of the Charmander, he continued to wait... Not enough... One more.
The source the disturbance in actuality was a Feral Linoone who had caught on to the glimmering spark of light amongst the ocean of white. Having been drawn to the source, it disliked the change, having spent much time living in the area. It understood that lacking the ability to turn would be a major impediment in a full frontal attack, so instead it intended to charge in, strike and get out quickly.
It rushed towards the Charmander at a great speed, Charging with extreme determination, aiming to slam it's entire body into the flame tailed Pokémon... It was using Rock Climb. As it surged into view, it attempted to careen into the Charmander with great force, before instantly charging away after unleashing a swift Pin Missile to cover itself as it ran.

| Hidon was quiet for a short while, listening in on his surroundings for any sign of a reaction from his shouts. However, he couldn't seem to pick up on anything in particular. After less than a minute of waiting and listening, he began to grow impatient. He let out a slightly aggravated groan, putting his claws to his waist. Maybe it would be better for him to just move on at this point. Clearly, whoever he had seen was now simply hiding in the mist and was not going to show himself anytime soon. As much as he hated the idea of letting this guy make a mockery of him with that stone, he had better things to do than wait here all day. He had some serious training to get back to!
"Fine!" he muttered, annoyed. He crossed his arms again and began to walk. But in his hurry and impatience, he had acted too soon. Had he stayed put and listened for only a few seconds longer, he would've heard the subtle sound of claws scraping the ground and feet smacking into the earth in the complete silence. As it was, however, he did not realize that another form was rushing from out of the mist until it was too late. The form seemed to suddenly appear before his very eyes, still very well hidden in the mist. He failed to bring up his guard quickly enough and the Linoone smashed its body powerfully into his own.
Hidon let out a loud grunt of pain from the impact. Since he hadn't been able to put up a proper guard or prepare for the blow, he was knocked for a loop. His body was pushed off of the earth and he was thrown backward from the force of the impact. He ended up cleanly on his back after a loud thud, the Linoone having trampled him and stomped right over his body. "Ergh..." he groaned, slowly pushing himself back to his feet. He could barely even figure out what had just happened; it had all happened so fast and out of nowhere!
What...even was that...? Was he under attack, or was it a complete accident? He wasn't really sure. But he was angry about it all the same.

| The Linoone came to a screeching halt a distance away from it's target and snarled, glancing back at it's tail. When it slammed into the Charmander wth force, it must have caught the flame on it's tail and burned itself slightly. With a shake of the head the Feral Linoone turned around and lined itself up with the fiery beacon amongst the Sea of mist, still intending to bring the Charmander down before fleeing.
Charging once again at an astounding speed, the Linoone was using Rock Climb once more with intent of repeating the process. As it charged. it unleashed a volley of Pin missile as well, not thinking that the Charmander could use the Volley to work out his direction and counter.

| Hidon growled as he looked around him, scanning the area for any sign of the Pokémon that had just run him over. Unfortunately, the Pokémon that had attacked him sported some white and brown fur, which blended well with the environment. That would make him even harder to see. But before he could think too hard on what he'd have to deal with, something else came after him. He heard a small noise, and the source came into view quickly enough. Hidon's eyes widened as he saw the shadows of the Pin missile get launched through the fog. He crossed his arms in front of his body and braced himself, taking the barrage head-on. Thankfully, the Bug-type move was resisted by his Fire typing, though.
But better yet, thanks to that attack, he had a better idea of where his foe was at that moment. And a smirk crossed his face. Now all he had to do was meet this guy head-on and show him what a real Pokémon can do! So, without a moment's hesitation, he started forward himself, headed in the exact direction that the Pin Missile had come from. As he walked, though, his body began to glow slightly with a bluish draconic aura. As he charged, the aura shifted from his body to his right arm. Finally, when the Linoone drew close enough to him, he would swing his Dragon Rush punch as powerfully as he could. Unfortunately, he had underestimated the Linoone's speed and ended up taking too long to strike. But this time, since he knew that the attack was coming, he managed to stay on his feet. Then, he would bring his fist down like a hammer, trying to smash the Pokémon into the earth before he could get away again.

| The Linoone aimed to meet the advancing Charmander head on, aiming to attempt to overpower whatever it threw out in retaliation. It hadn't considered Pin Missile clueing it's foe in on the angle of attack, so it merely kept charging head on, no pauses to change direction. As it came into visual range, once again it aimed to slam it's body into the Pokémon and to then use what time it had to skirt around and escape
As it approached however, it soon enough found itself being knocked awkwardly to the side due to the Dragon Rush attack, also partially burning it's tail in the process. Due to this, despite the pain it rushed away... It needed time to recover from the attack.

| Hidon growled as he felt the power of the Rock Climb take its toll on him for a moment. The damage was still present after all, so it's not like he could just walk it off. It was certainly a powerful hit, and he'd have to be careful not to take too many more of those. However, a quick shake of his head to clear his thoughts was all he needed for now. After all, he now had to stop that Linoone from retreating into the mist again if he could. If he continued with those hit and run tactics, he wasn't sure if he'd be able to even win this fight. After all, how could he win if he couldn't even see his opponent?
And so, when the Charmander realized that the Linoone was about to retreat, he made one desperate attempt to stop him. "Oh no you don't...!" he would shout, lunging at the Normal-type Pokémon. He did not have a particular move in mind. He just wanted to try to physically tackle the Pokémon to the ground before he could get away. If he missed, however, he would end up falling onto his stomach. he'd curse the Linoone's speed and climb back to his feet again. After all, he'd need to brace himself for the next round of attack.
{It's okay. =} I hope you feel better~}

| With the Feral Pokemon's clearly superiour speed and general physical strength, when the Charmander tried to grab and hold it back, the Pokemon managed to swiftly break free and Sprint away at high speed. Despite everything having already landed two blows against the Charmander, the somewhat frustrating burning injury it had sustained made the fight much less feasible, the Pokemon understood it had to escape.
Vanishing into the mist once more, this time it didn't intent to launch another strike... It had to treat it's own injuries first. Despite being a Feral Pokemon, it understood that pointlessly bruising and damaging itself wasn't a good idea.
Deimos had merely sensed the fray and had done his best to watch from his position upon the high ledge. As was to be expected, actual vision through general sight was still useless due to the vast quantities of white mist surrounding the areas. It was his sensory power at allowed him to have a general idea of what was going on, allowing him to track their movement from a distance.
