The Hunt is On!

So this was the Fallen Leaf Copse....the thing Sova had failed to find first. It was certainly beautiful enough to be a treasure, but the real treasure was within....somewhere. Perhaps it wasn't too late for him to be the one to find the treasure. Of course, having someone as enthusiastic about treasure as Mirage with him was sure to help as well.

"This looks like a nice place to live...." He said.

Hills for days. This island was quite big. Sova wondered what he could do to ease the journey. It was a bit humid, perhaps he could fix that. "Hey, are you guys hot? I could help with that." He offered. If his companions didn't accept, that'd be disappointing. He really wanted to cool himself off, but he couldn't without cooling the entire area around him as well.

"Oh, not like....with ice beam or anything." He reassured.

"I'm fine, if I suspected I was having a heat stroke, i think I would have said so. I'd hate to repeat that hypothermia business again.." Mirage spoke, "Thanks for the offer though," The zorua continued forward, failing to pay attention as she went along. She had not noticed the hidden netting covered by the colorful leaves, it was too late before she realized that she had stepped past a trip wire, and the netting around her flew up and entangled her in a trap!

Nico chuckled to see her and Sova in this embarrassing trap. he floated up to them. wondering if they needed assistance getting out. ''So um would mirage ask me politly to help you out?'' nico asked smirking. he knew he was treading on thin ice but it was too hard to resist it. Nico could barely contain his laughter.

Sova, being swept up in the net alongside Mirage, was quite surprised. That was what he got for trying to get closer to Mirage....metaphorically and literally. Trying to fix the situation before the gastly and zorua got into another argument, he lowered the temperature of his breath to sub-zero and breathed on an area of the netting, covering it in ice. He then pushed on it in an attempt to break it. No good. It'll have to give eventually.... He thought as he blew on it more, aiming to encase it in ice and freeze it all the way through so he could break it.

The Glaceon began to act fast, the netting becoming encased in ice until it seemed that the entire netting was some large Icicle. The tree branch that was held to the trap dropped until the icicle touched the ground, and the ice began to freeze until Mirage couldn't see outside anymore.
"Great," she huffed, seeing that she was now trapped in a freezing icicle with Sova...again except this time more compact, less cold, and not on the verge of death, "Now what?"

Nico looked around the now iced over net. He looked for a weak point in said net. He backed up and rammed it. He flew right through it. GOD DAMN GAS Okay obviously that wouldn't work. He Looked around for the thinnest piece of material on the glass and Ice Punched it. The net shattered open and out came tumbling his friends. "Hey guys i hope i didn't 'shatter your moment." Nico said as he winked at Sova.

"Now we wait."  Sova said, hopeful Nico would know what to do.  Then the gastly flew through the frozen net in an attempt to break it....  We're doomed, The glaceon thought.  Just as he began to have doubts, the frozen net was shattered from the outside, allowing the two to fall out.

"Speaking of shattering, don't think I can't shatter your face just because it's made of gas."  Sova joked with a darkly humor and winked back. If it wasn't him, it would have been Mirage to say something anyways.

Mirage merely gave the gastly a dark look, before turning and continuing onward, ignoring the moment that had happened with high levels of irritation. She spotted an item and picked up the disk in her mouth, having run out of room in her makeshift bag. She merely wanted to keep moving, the gastly was growing past a nuisance and into the range of being put on her hit-list. She usually did not kill things, but perhaps this Gastly would be an exception she would never speak about.

"I wonder how that happened?" Nico said looking at the netting for the trap. I wonder if that means we are getting close "Come on Mirage, you cant hate me that bad. I got you out of the net didn't I?" Nico said. He was starting to get upset now. She seemed not to hear him. She must not have heard me He zoomed in front of her and repeated the sentence louder. He tried to look reproachful.

Sova followed near to Mirage as he had been doing the entire trip, still hoping to talk to her more. But when the Nico attempted to speak, the glaceon decided to stay silent in hopes the other two would begin getting along better. If that was possible, he certainly didn't want to interrupt them and stop it from happening. Though it could also end with the two simply getting along WORSE, but it seemed worth the risk.

Snap! If her mind had been able to physically snap, it would have been heard for miles. The zorua gave a feral snarl before a small sphere of darkness formed in her mouth and seemed to coat her teeth as she attempted to shape her Dark Pulse around her teeth to bite the Ghastly, wanting to chew the little nuisance apart. She passed the Gastly, whether it was through the gas or he had moved, and quickly charged up a Dark Pulse and shot it right for Nico!

Nico was amazed by her ferocity. He shot straight down into the dirt. Popping up behind her. as she was charging her blast. Oh lovely he thought to himself. just what he needed another angry pokemon. He zoomed up to the air, knowing he had the advantage up in the air. "Hey chill out!" Nico shouted down to her, hoping it would calm her.

Sova sighed and hanged his head, drooping his ears. "DON'T FIIIIIIIIGHT." He groaned very vocally. If he had to take a side, he was already prepared to choose Mirage, but for the time being he really hoped a fight could be avoided.

"Come on Mirage, let the gas ball live!" He said from a few feet away, keeping his distance in case any stray attacks would possibly come his way. "Can't you just....yell at him or something?"

The zorua darted forward, clearly the thought of letting the gastly go was not in mind. She blasted another Shadowball towards the Gastly, followed by another Dark Pulse, each one in rapid fire and rather weak due to her planning to merely knock the Gastly down before she dealt the heavy damage. She gave a few bounds to get at a good angle to shoot at the Gastly, and found the perfect spot, until something snapped around her foot, and she gave a ear splitting scream as something clamped around her paw and began drawing blood.

Sova watched the gastly narrowly avoid a few attacks and fly away. But this wasn't a concern to him. What was more worrying was why Mirage had suddenly stopped her pursuit and screamed. He'd never heard the zorua scream at all, let alone like that....

Wasting no time in wondering what had happened, the glaceon darted over to his friend to see what had happened. It seemed her leg was caught in some kind of....trap, and it looked quite painful. He could definitely see blood and figured there was a distinct possibility of a fracture or even something being broken. He of course ran closer, planning on trying to help. "Mirage, don't worry! I'll get you out!"
