The Hunt is On!

So this was the Fallen Leaf Copse....the thing Sova had failed to find first. It was certainly beautiful enough to be a treasure, but the real treasure was within....somewhere. Perhaps it wasn't too late for him to be the one to find the treasure. Of course, having someone as enthusiastic about treasure as Mirage with him was sure to help as well.

"This looks like a nice place to live...." He said.

Sova began to worry Mirage would end up killing Nico and began looking for a way to separate the two for a bit. Then as if by an answered prayer, a possible enemy appeared. "Nico, how about you go scout ahead and see if the path is safe while we handle this? We'll meet back up in a few minutes." He suggested. Hopefully the other two would agree to this. At the rate they were going, there would likely be conflict if the two didn't get some time apart.

Sova was correct in trying to separate the two, Mirage was growing dangerously close to attacking the Gastly and giving it a taste of her Dark Pulse, or maybe her Shadow Ball? Nah Dark Pulse would work better to kill the little brat.
"Thank you captain obvious," she hissed at the Gastly, angry that he had simply repeated what she had just said as if she had not said it. The Zorua looked to the Furret, who seemed to arch its back and give a sort of hiss at them, feeling threatened by their appearance. The furret was soon joined by a Deerling and Wrumple, "Great, it has friend," the zorua spoke genuinely, as to her it was just more pokemon to take her anger out on.

''sure i don't mind its getting heated in here but wait there's only one hot head. must be pretty angry'' he winked and zoomed down the path. Wow shes so rude. i was just trying to have fun with them he zoomed down the path about a quarter of a mile until he hit a rather large hill and he decided to rest up for a bit. hmm looks safe enough I hope they hurry. He had a dark thought that scared him he hoped that mirage got hurt. he shook the thought of but he couldn't help but smile as he gazed down the path waiting for them to catch up.

"Ahahahah, yeah...." Sova laughed sarcastically. He waited for the gastly to be out of hearing range to continue. "Sooo....about that relationship comment....you got really defensive. It's not like it was true, but jeez....am I that unappealing?" He questioned to Mirage as he approached the likely enemies.

"We come in peace....n what not." He spoke nonchalantly. It didn't really matter to him at the moment whether they got into a fight or not.

"No, let's just say i've gotten that comment with plenty of other guys, you get sick of it after a while," she huffed, staring at the group that had dared to challenge them from the appearance. Her tail was low as she watched them, ready to start charging up a Dark Pulse to be fired at the group, seeing as her Shadow Ball could easily be negated by the Normal Types.

The furret seemed to be listening to the Glaceon, and seemed to give some kind of signal for the other two to stand down for a moment. The furret hopped a bit closer, zigzagging a bit as he did so, and spoke, "Do you really? The last time someone said that, they nearly killed Wrumple and tried to break Deerling's legs..."

As Nico sat there his mind drifted to his past. he expanded and contracting his body bored. he rolled around in the air trying to create amusement for himself. he saw the rock to his left and picked it up. it was heavy and he decided to throw it in frustration. he was upset that his new friends didn't really like him. And he had tried so hard too. it doesn't mater.... it doesn't matter... he repeated to himself.

As much as Sova would have liked to do something as unnecessarily violent as the furret had described, that would take him away from his conversation with Mirage for longer. "Harsh. I can see why you'd be so defensive then. But rest assured, we're not actively trying to hurt anyone for no reason. Riiiiight?" He looked back at Mirage, hoping for her agreement. Hopefully she wouldn't completely ruin his attempts at peaceful negotiations. ALL SHE HAD TO SAY WAS YES. EASY. Just nod and agree.... He thought.

"Yeah, for no reason," Mirage agreed, picking up that he probably was meaning more towards the Gastly than this group, "But I will absolutely beat the ever loving sh*t those that are continuing to pester me," she gave a defiant huff and gave her tail a sassy flick before moving to follow the direction the Gastly had gone, no longer interested in the group of pokemon they had run into.

The furret watched the Zorua leave, and looked to the Glaceon, waiting to see if he would say anything else or leave just like her. The deerling seemed to try and hide behind the wrumple, while the wrumple seemed to take on a defensive stance despite the natural weakness in strength a wrumple had.

Nico was floating in circles as fast as he could go by the time ''Ira'' came walking up. ''Hello'' he said stoically he was done with this whole thing. he just wanted to stay like as far away fro her as long as possible. he felt like she was pushed beyond her limit somehow.

Sova watched his companion leave and decided to end the conversation and follow, not wanting to leave the gastly and zorua alone to kill each other. "Guess that means it's time for me to go, sorry. But hey, if I see any jerks, I'll beat the hell out of 'em for ya, alright?" He said as he turned to leave. Hopefully they wouldn't have any more trouble from this group. If anything, maybe they'd meet up again and have this group as allies in a fight or something of the sort. He didn't really desire to send the poor group of terrified citizens to near-death. At least that was a sign that he was still sane.

"So now what?" She huffed irritable, tempted to just take off and be on her own seeing as this new addition to the party was just irritating her. She looked to Sova, waiting for an answer. It was likely that she was not going to be nice to the Gastly anytime soon, and she wondered why they were even sticking around, or why SHE was even sticking around. The Zorua took a seat, her tail giving a flick as she did so, as she awaited a response. She half hoped that someone would just opt to leave, seeing as she could easily just come back on her own to go grab the treasure.

Nico waited patiently for a response from sova. To Nico, Sova looked like if he wasent obsessed with the Deceiver ''Ira'' he would be a great leader. Nico looked to Sova ''Yeah man what should we do?'' he asked putting as much formality into his voice as he could. So he got up from his resting position and floated over to him.

It appeared Sova had been elected to make choices. What a pain, that meant he'd have to think. "Alright. Turning back would be a waste of time, so onward we go." He said. Of course if there was a treasure it'd be hard to find, but that just meant they'd have to look hard.

He didn't really fancy being a leader at the moment given he'd never really succeeded at it before. Or maybe he'd just come to that conclusion from everyone constantly putting him down. Either way, he really wasn't in the mood to be making group decisions.

Mirage gave a flick of her tail, and moved onward, deciding to follow the Glaceon's decision. The zorua kept an eye to her surroundings, watching for any clues that might key towards the treasure. The vixen surveyed the golden forest, the leaves in perpetual autumn were beautiful to the natural eye, but to her it was just too bright for her taste. Why couldn't the treasure be somewhere dark? She'd easily be able to blend in, and she'd feel at home in the darkness. She was supposed to take cover in the darkness, being a dark type, and bright places like this were to be the bane of her existence!

Nico felt the zoura's pain. He hated sunlight it always messed with his head. He thought back to his home in Shadowhue forest. Its was always so dim.this place was about as bright as it was with fang. His thoughts trailed to her. She said i could try... i wonder what she meant by that His head aching with pain as he looked for a place with shade, more so that the treasure even.
