Shocking Freezer Burn

It was a beautifully sunny day as Manfred Colburn was walking along the street of his hometown. Not that he would care about the weather, though.
The only thing that was on his mind were the parts he had to get to finish his newest invention - a self-turning frying pan.
And he knew just where to get them.
As he continued on his path, he wasn't paying much attention to his surroundings, his mind focussing inwards on intricate mechanisms and new possibilities.
While that certainly heightened the danger of bumping into other people, noone had been too mad before and if things would get serious, he could just use his powers and then blame it on the taser he was keeping in a pocket of his jacket.
Little would he know about the adventure of his life, that was about to start, a tale of happiness and sadness, rage and calmness, hate and forgiveness.

The story of fire, lightning and ice...

"Urgh...there's just no possibility for reasoning with you now, is there? Anyways...I'm going to report this to the police."
That being said, "Naruto" turned around and walked towards the police station, trying to think of a believable story to explain what had happened. At least that girl was nuts enough, that no one would believe her story about his "powers"...right?

Allegra had already left, running off to find a pawn shop to sell the jewelry she had scavenged from the unconscious forms of the three who attacked them.
Stepping into the shop, she grinned, recognizing the person behind the counter.
"Hey, Dawnie. What can you do for me today?" she grinned, placing the stolen jewelry on the counter.
Dawn gave her a look, wondering where the jewelry had come from.
"What?" exclaimed Allegra, "I promise you these ones deserved it. They were drug dealers!"
"Alright..."

Getting some good money for the jewelry, Allegra then headed to a casual restaurant to buy herself some nice dinner to tide her over for the next day or so. She then headed to the park, attempting to find a secluded place that was out of view. After the events of today, she wanted to try controlling the ice again. It hadn't occured to her before that it was something she had any control over...

The two had fallen into a complete silence after Lily had finished jabbering to herself. Lily drank her coffee she had ordered while Catherine slowly and quietly sipped some tea. Lily suddenly spoke, "Tomorrow, when we go to fight the gang members, I have a good feeling that this is when you finally kick off as a super hero." Lily smiled to Catherine, who simply looked down and continued to sip her tea while staring at her feet.
(I got nothin...)

Although the police didn't seem to believe him, they said, that they were going to send someone there to look at it.
Satisfied with his work, Manfred left the police station and walked towards that store he had ben planning to visit since the beginning of the entire story.
But as he reached it, the sign on the door already alerted him, that the shop had closed for today.
Muttering a variety of expressions not suited for someone of your age, dear reader, he left again after charging the door handle a bit.
At least the clerk would be awake on the next day and not half asleep as he usually seemed to be.

~Time skip to a few days later?~

It was sunset and Allegra was sat in one of the park's many trees, waiting for the darkness to come, and the starts to be visible in the night sky. In the past few days, despite the eerie glow her icy powers created at night, she found it was easier to attempt to use them when there weren't hundreds of people around trying to spend some time out in the sunlight.

As the sun finally went down, Allegra climbed down from the tree, leaving a thin layer of frost on the braches she had been near. She found herself a secluded place in the wooded area and stood for a moment in silence, gathering her thoughts so that she could concentrate better.
She was still experimenting with her newfound ability to control her icy powers and found that it was easier to control them the way she wanted to when there wasn't anything to distract her. Illustrating this point, she controlled the ice, extending it's pale blue glow up the surrounding tree trunks, until the nearest ones were as frost covered as the ground by her feet.

"Don't move or your friend gets a bullet through her brain" The bulky man snarled as two other men held Lily with a gun pressed against her skull. "I don't know just what the hell is wrong with you, but you've messed with the wrong guys" the man sneered, he was referring to the flames that enveloped the girl without burning her. "Now, put the fire away(I know you can) and put your hands up." Catherine did as told, she thought that she could come up with some way to win by buying a bit of time. Instantly several men tackled into her and shoved her into a nearby fountain and held her down, attempting to drown her.
"NO!" Lily screamed, struggling against the bigger men holding her. The man just sneered at her to shut her trap and struck her the the handle of the weapon. She kicked and screamed more until the man finally knocked her out with the gun. They wanted to keep the hostage alive until they were sure the more dangerous freaky kid was down.

As Manfred was walking down the street to get home again, he saw a group of thugs in the park, attacking the girls from before.
He was paralyzed with fear. What should he do?
He couldn't just leave, the police wouldn't be there soon enough and he would never survive a direct confrontation! Plus, they even had a hostage!
Frantically thinking of a way to save them, Manfred just stood there in silence...

"Don't move or your friend gets a bullet through her brain."
That phrase was enough to set anyone's alarm bells off, not least of all, Allegra's. Nimbly climbing up one of her frozen trees, she got as close as she could to the men, discovering that they were threatening the girls that she had met a few days prior.

Standing in the branches for a moment, Allegra concentrated on focusing her powers into a different form, an icicle, sharp at the tip and on both sides like a sword. She formed it in her hand, the eerie blue glow from it's creation being missed by the gang below.

With weapon in hand, Allegra recklessly dropped down from the tree onto the shoulders of one of the bigger men that were keeping Lily captive. She held the sharp icicle to his throat.
"Let them go or i'll do some damage!" she yelled. In the darkness, the icicle did look remarkably like a real blade.

The men who were dunking Catherine in the fountain paused, allowing her to gasp for breath and try to catch up on it. The leader looked at the man that the new woman was keeping captive, the man was looking at him with pleading eyes. He gave a sigh, and reached into his pocket and pulled out his own gun, and aimed it at the gang member being held hostage and pulled the trigger.
Lily screamed in fear of the gunshot and continued to struggle against the person that still held her. She tried to kick him where it counts, but the man seemed to know better and forced her on her knees.
Catherine struggled for breath, she couldn't see because her head was still half dunked through the water. Her eyes and nose were submerged, so she had to breathe through her mouth.

As a direct confrontation would have been suicide, Manfred decided to cause a little confusion instead.
Sneaking up to one of the street laterns, he completely overcharged it, causing every light bulb in the park to explode in a shower of sparks.
In the resulting darkness, Manfred looked for the gangster with the gun, determining his position by his nerve signals.
After having found him, he placed his right hand above the man's left shoulder and stopped the flow of electricity in anything that wasn't absolutely vital.
Almost immediately the man fell down, not even capable of deliberately producing any sounds.

Focusing on manipulating her powers and using the confusion to her advantage, Allegra threw multiple icy daggers at the surrounding members of the gang. Being quick on her feet, she was nimble enough to hop down from the shot man's shoulders before the bullet could hurt her too.
Allegra realised she needed to end this confrontation quickly, otherwise she would inadvertently freeze the fountain that the one man was ducking Catherine's head in. Whilst throwing her cy daggers, she began to extend her icy foothold, until it caught the feet of the gun wielding man in it's grasp, attaching them to the floor and preventing them from moving.

As the ice continued to attack him from the ground, Allegra attacked the man ducking Catherine under the water. She used the original ice dagger, stabbing him in the back and trying to ignore how violent this whole thing was.

Some of the gang members managed to avoid the icicle shards, those members took out their own weapons, consisting of knives, guns, Brass Knuckles, and one had a machete, that was the one holding Lily hostage. Lily squeaked in fear as the blade was pressed against her throat and she was moved in front of the man as a meat shield. "Move and I hack your head off" he whispered into her ear. Lily froze up and was too terrified to do anything.
Catherine felt some of her strength coming back, she tried to move but the man realized she was breathing normal again he dunked her head fully under the water again. She began to struggle uselessly once more as the man tried to figure out what to do in this chaos, he was surprised when he suddenly felt a dagger in his back. His body stiffened before growing limb and falling over Catherine's body.
The leader hadn't noticed one of the members go down or even noticed the shocking boy, until he heard the hostage scream, "Naruto?! WHite Head?!" He gave an annoyed huff and brought out a cell phone, he hated to admit it, but he needed back up.

While he coudn't do much against the man trying to drown fire girl out of fear of electrocuting her, Manfred decided to recharge this kind gentleman's cellphone batteries.
The result was as expected. The voltage knocked the guy out, the batery acid performing some plastical surgery on his face. Well...it couldn't look worse after all.
Having an idea, he shouted:
"Hey! Ice girl! Freeze that blade so he can't cut her!"

Allegra nodded and did as she was bid, freezing the blade using a breath of incredibly cool air. It was as if she was suddenly in complete control of the ice. When satisfied that the blade was frozen enough, she turned her attention back to Catherine and attempted to push the large man's limp body off of the fire wielding female. It didn't seem to be working however, Allegra not being strong enough to move the man's large form.

The man watched in sheer terror as his blade was frozen over. He swallowed and dropped the blade, he backed away from the superpowered kids and the girl, "Y-You're all a bunch of freaks!" he screamed before fleeing into a more forest-like area of the park.
Catherine was frustrated, the body was pinning her down and she didn't have the strength to muscle the muscle man off. She watched as her last batch of air bubbles escaped to the surface and terror overwhelmed her. She felt a burning sensation on her back, the man that was on her was on fire! The flaming corpse burned only for a few seconds before being reduced to a pile of ash on Cat's back. She was able to pull herself out of the water and stare at the pile in horror. She had just performed a cremation.
