PostSubject: Icy Water, Insane Archen, and a Shocking Pichu   Icy Water, Insane Archen, and a Shocking Pichu EmptySat Oct 12, 2013 7:57 pm

The Job:

An Archen blinked as he stared at the frozen stream named...well, Frozen Stream. The snow was calm and settled on the river bed's floor and one could not even see the water running underneath the ice. However, the ice looked too thick to break, he was going to have to find either other holes or thinner ice that would be easy to shatter. The Archen sighed, he was alone once more on this mission, he doubted he would find William here. William was a ghostly friend of his, who seemed to have once lived a terrible life and recently joined a team from what Acro knew about the gengar. The archen looked back to the riverbed, he would have to get moving and get this over with, it was too cold here!

A Pichu shivered as he looked around the frozen streams riverbed covered in snow. 'Thank Arceus for my mom giving me this scarf before I left home.' He was having some trouble moving trough the snow, but not alot, but if any pokemon jumped out, it was going to be a problem.

He hoped that he was going to be able to get back to grassveil sometime today, for the Pichu had just joined the guild, and He started trudging trough the snow again, hoping to get a bit stronger before going back to the guild and doing some missions with his friends, and exploring more.

He had come here to train a bit, to get stronger, and to maybe evolve in a long time. He would loose his pichu form, but he would get stronger in more ways of gaining new attacks and gaining new attacks. He had been hoping to get around easier, but it's going to help him get stronger to go trough this. He had also been looking to maybe find a new friend while out, But he doesnt think that's very likely.

PostSubject: Re: Icy Water, Insane Archen, and a Shocking Pichu   Icy Water, Insane Archen, and a Shocking Pichu EmptySat Oct 12, 2013 8:53 pm

The small Archen looked around some more, seeing a strange, small, and yellow mouse like creature that had been at the same height as him. He had never see this strange pokemon before, was it natural to this forest or was it just visiting? The Archen kept away from it, who knew what it was capable of.
"Weak."
"Anti-Social."
"Rejected"
The voices rang in his mind in the voices of his previous team members.
Acro stopped himself from moving away from the pichu, and instead looked at the snow on the floor. Should he really run away from it? How was he to know if it was hostile or not? What if it was an outlaw? Acro continued to stare at the white blanket of the ground, trying to decide between approaching and not approaching.

The Pichu stopped for a second and checked trough what he had. He had his explorers badge, he had his cyan bow pinned to his scarf, and he was somewhat warm to an extent. He looked around, Noticing an Archen looking down at the Snow on the ground.

He didnt know if it was rabid or not, Or if he could trust it. He didnt know if it was an Outlaw or a Guild member or a Normal Pokemon just exploring. Either way, the Pichu trudged up to the Archen and said 'Hi.' He hoped he didnt startle the Archen, He didnt know if it was gonna attack him out of reflex. It could deal some damage, He wasn't too strong and the Archen was super effective to him, due to being a ground type. If it decides to attack Him, The Pichu would be in serious trouble.

Acro sqwacked in surprise, but did not attack thankfully. Instead, he had jumped high into the air and fallen back into the snow about a foot away from the pichu. He seized up the pichu slightly, it seemed to be rather weak, but he was weak as well. The Archen looked at the pichu as it greeted him, and attempted to speak back only to let loose a wall of stammering and stuttering supplied by both the cold and his nervousness. The Archen shook himself and spoke more clearly, "H-Hi...I-I-I'm Ac-Acro..."

'I'm Kazuko. Nice to meet you, Acro.' Kazuko says, With somewhat of a shiver. 'Why are you h-here? I'm here to train. I just joined an exploration team and im hoping to get stronger so that I can help my friends in battle more.' Kazuko states, rather normally, seeming like he knows Acro. His personality is to make friends. This is exactly what he's doing. The more friends he has, The more people he can trust.

Anyways.. Kazuko forgets he had something, and pulls out a green gummi. 'Do you want it? I'm asking this because I'm thinking you could be hungry. Feel free to decline, I wont mind.' And Kazuko begins to think. What if Acro turned on him? This might be a problem. Acro looks like he's a way higher level then Kazuko, And if Acro wanted to, He could defeat Kazuko quite easily. Kazuko has a weakness to rock, And an Archen is a rock type.

"Y-You don't have t-t-t-to give that to me," Acro declined the gummi, "B-But thanks a-anyways," he decided it would be best to be polite. The pokemon was his size and if he had angered it, it could possibly paralyze him and and kill him with its electricity! The archen tilted his head as he explained his situation, not wanting to anger the potentially dangerous pokemon, "I-I'm out here on a mission, I-I never really ever g-go on missions a-alone, but th-the tang-tangrowth in the j-job needed s-some Icy Water for a b-burn."
Acro wondered if he should ask the pichu to come with him. There were water types in this area because of the stream, was the pichu going to be able to help him if the pichu even accepted his offer? Acro took a deep and silent breathe as he waited for a reply, hoping for an offer of help or even more conversation to help calm his own nerves.

Kazuko put the gummi back in his bag. 'Can I help? I wont ask for any of the reward, and this will help me get a bit stronger. That would help me a bit.' Kazuko adjusts his scarf a bit which is becoming a habbit because it keeps slightly cutting off his air due to tightening a bit, and looks around.

'Acro, when the team was being made one of my friends, Lina, pointed out the team names. I saw quite a few. What's your team name?' Kazuko says, Not fast, But not slow. He could slightly tell that Acro clearly was a bit un-nerved and wondered why.

"I-I'm of Team Roark," he spoke. He nodded eagerly though, "Yes, p-please. I mean-I'd love some help.
"I-I apologize for how i-i'm acting. I'm a-always like this ar-ar-ar-rr-ound new pokemon, it's a h-habit of mine I can't seem to drop."
The archen absentmindedly tugged on his own ribbon around his neck, the Joy Ribbon, that had allowed him to become stronger and stronger with each mission. He could have sworn if he were some kind of game he would be getting a level or point each mission he did with this thing. The archen's mind wandered back to the present, "M-My job is to find 3 Icy Water, I have the-the bottles, the pr-problem is just finding a decent place to get the icy water from the stream."

'It's okay. Anyways.. We need to try to get some icy water then.' Looking around, Kazuko wonders where would be a good place to get some icy water. 'Well, If we're gonna get some icy water, We should get looking. Maybe there'll be some soon.'

Kazuko turns around to face away from Acro and notices two figures in the distance. 'I dont get the good kind of vibes from the way those figures look.. Acro, we should be caution unlike how I was when I first met you because you could've easily had a rock attack and obliterated me. Anyways, Let's be on our guard.'

Acro looked to see a teddiursa riding on a stantler's back. The cute bear like pokemon seemed to have an item on it, some sort of Seed or Berry Acro could not see. The stantler noticed then, and a glare formed on its expression. The stantler hoofed at the ground angrily as the Teddiursa looked as if it were about to cry, the teddiursa was using Fake Tears, while Stantler was preparing some kind of attack.
Acro's eyes widened, "I think we-we don't h-have a ch-choice in f-f-f-f-f-f-fighting them!" The Archen was not too scared though, as he lowered his body to the ground and hissed at the foes that were threatening them. Acro watched them closely, "At least they're both just normal types," he spoke.

'Yeah, And thank Arceus for that. This should be not so hard. Worst that could happen is Water/Rock type..' And releases a thunder punch, aiming for the stantler, and getting pounced on by the Teddiursa of which had jumped off of the stantler and used scratch on kazuko, getting somewhat of a upperhand due to Kazuko not suspecting it. He responds with a thunder shock, but missing.

Acro screeched as his tail glowed brightly in a steel like color. He leaped at the stantler, jumping so he would turn in the air, and smashed his tail into the Stantler's head. The stantler screeched as he was thrown aside. Acro was surprised once more as a slobbering wet tongue licked the side of his face. He became paralyzed in disgust but not before being swallowed in a purple aura and sending Rocks flying at the Teddiursa, somewhat burying it, but not knocking it out. The Archen tried to move, but his body refused to respond as he could not take his mind off of the disgusting tongue that had touched him.

Kazuko noticed that Acro was currently paralyzed, And used thundershock on the Teddiursa to return the favour, Paralysing it a small bit. Full paralysis hadnt taken over, And it was only minor, But the Teddiursa couldnt move, And Kazuko moved out swiftly, dealing a thunderpunch uppercut to its jaw, fully doing the paralysis, and having it get slightly knocked back. Kazuko also turned to the stantler and used thunderpunch on it, taking advantage of it trying to get up. It still had the hostile look, so it wasnt done fighting yet.

(Woah, dude, chill out. You're thunder Punching nearly all the time. It only has 15 PP so you're bound to wear yourself out 0_0')

Acro forced himself to move, despite the disgusting memory still fresh in his bird brained mind. He managed to leap onto the Stantler's back and hook onto the antlers with his talons and cover the stantler's face with his paralyzed body. The stantler shook his head around wildly, attempting to get rid of the Archen-Blind. The stantler dashed about, trying to rid the distraction. It left the teddiursa to the pichu, and Archen was busy waiting for either the paralysis to wear off or for the stantler to throw him off, whichever came first.
