Shocking Freezer Burn

It was a beautifully sunny day as Manfred Colburn was walking along the street of his hometown. Not that he would care about the weather, though.
The only thing that was on his mind were the parts he had to get to finish his newest invention - a self-turning frying pan.
And he knew just where to get them.
As he continued on his path, he wasn't paying much attention to his surroundings, his mind focussing inwards on intricate mechanisms and new possibilities.
While that certainly heightened the danger of bumping into other people, noone had been too mad before and if things would get serious, he could just use his powers and then blame it on the taser he was keeping in a pocket of his jacket.
Little would he know about the adventure of his life, that was about to start, a tale of happiness and sadness, rage and calmness, hate and forgiveness.

The story of fire, lightning and ice...

Upon seeing the display of pyrokinetics, Manfred just stood there, muttering:
"I-I would like to redact m-my previous statement...I stand corrected..."
Just then another gangster fired a bullet in his general direction. Almost as if in trance, Manfred touched the post of a nearby street latern, charging it with lots of electricity.
While the bulb immediately exploded in a shower of sparks, the resulting electromagnetism was enough to disrupt the bullet's path, the bullet itself now clinging harmlessly to the post.

Allegra blinked at the other two, not exactly knowing how to react to their revelations. Somehow they had abilities tied to fire and lightning... and she wasn't entirely sure that she wanted to get on their bad side.
Stepping back so that she was level with the other three, she paused, watching as the three with guns began to advance. They showed surprise at the powers the younger trio displayed, but weren't about to let a bunch of kids get away with what they had seen.

"Uhm... Just a suggestion but maybe we should all think about teaming up temporarily. I kinda don't wanna get shot..." blinked Allegra, kicking the frozen bullets away from her. She could feel the area around her growing colder despite the presence of the pyrokinetics and the pavement around her feet had begun to freeze over again. With the way these two seemed to be able to control their powers, she wondered if she could too...

Testing that theory, she tried spreading the frozen area so that it included the ground beneath the gunmen's feet...

Catherine had a different look in her eye, a more vicious look. She was grinning as she watched the men come close, a twirl of flames enveloped around her, endangering the two beside her to the risk of burns, and shot the fire at the men in a burst. The men backed off, but the fire didn't reach them. Cat huffed in annoyance, her flames had a range and the men were too far away. She hadn't noticed that the ice below her flames and melted into water, leaving it vulnerable to electricity to surge through it. The men fire more bullets at her only to have them be destroyed in the flames that still wrapped around her a bit like a snake. She had absolutely no idea on how she was doing this, but she liked it. It felt like adrenaline was pumping through her veins, and she no longer felt shy and closed up. She glared at the men, waiting for them to get within her range as some tried to run in, seeing that the guns were useless against these weird kids.

Manfred found himself surprised by the fire...again and jumped to the side.
"Whoa! Watch out there..."
And then he saw it...the various powers had caused a relatively large amount of water to be present in the area.
Having played enough BioShock, Manfred knew exactly what to do.
He ducked' reached out to the water and...sent a few volt through it.
Manfred couldn't help but chuckle a bit as he saw the men spasming in what looked like a failed breakdance choreography.

One of them men had slipped over on Allegra's icy pathway, whilst one had ran straight towards Catherine. However, after melting and receiving the electrical surge from Manfred's abilities, the three carrying firearms all fell to the ground, unconscious. This left the fourth man, the one who had been the victim before Allegra arrived on the scene, alone. He quickly got to his feet and ran for the other side of the alley, not wanting to be near these weird, power wielding kids.
"Nice work team!" chuckled Allegra, rather pleased at how she had managed to control the ice during that moment.

Blinking, Allegra spotted something and wandered over to where the man had been forced to the ground. There was a small bag with something weird and green in it. Realizing what it was, Allegra picked it up and turned around until she was facing a door.
"Drug dealers...." she whispered.

"Drug dealers?" Catherine huffed in annoyance. Her fire flared a bit as she huffed, the fire touched the bag Allegra was holding and set it on fire. She hadn't noticed the damage she had caused and said, "I say we go in and teach them a lesson!" She sniffed and asked, "Hey...what's that smell?"

Lily had been watching with excitement from around a corner. She squealed excitedly and silently as she secretly begged them to go inside, "Go in and become famous.." Lily snickered at the thoughts of the dough again. She hadn't noticed the flaming bag in Allegra's hands that burned what evidence they had of the drugs.

Manfred cringed inside as he saw the girl's incompetence. But as the evidence had been burned already, confronting her wouldn't change anything and he wanted to save his mind from the excruciating torture talking to her and having to experience her twisted parody of reality would be. Thus he just stood there, shaking his head in disbelief.

Allegra had to drop the bag to avoid burning her fingers.
"Careful with that fire of yours!" she yelled, frowning. Now the only evidence they had of what had happened was gone. Time to find some more.
Without hesitating, Allegra, kicked open the door in the alleyway and headed inside. What she found was... actually kinda what she expected. The place was pretty normal looking, except for the lovely set of cannabis plants that were growing in here.

"Hm?" Catherine looked to the burning remmnants of the bag, "Oh sorry." The fire faded out in a matter of seconds and the confident look in her eye disappeared. "Wh-What are we doing again?" she squeaked, looking nervously at the plants and the normal looking room. It gave her an eerie feeling though, like she shouldn't be there and should get the heck out of there as soon as possible. She kept her hands to herself instead of touching and inspecting things to see what else was there in the room. She wondered where Lily had run off to, and why she was still even there.

"So great...we found some drugs. Now let us report this to the police and then never speak of this again. Let's all just go on with our lives like normal people..."
It was quite obvious, that Manfred wanted to have as little as possible to do with all this and would have preferred to just forget, that this had ever happened.
"You have never seen me, I've never seen you. Okay?"

"That's rather suspicious of you," grinned Allegra mischievously before she turned away from Manfred and began to explore the room. There really were quite a few of these plant here, and Allegra couldn't help but wonder what to do with them. She didn't want to sell them herself, though she knew that if she did she'd probably end up with enough money to buy lunch for a whole year. Maybe just reporting this in to the police was the best idea.

Allegra stood for a moment and blinked. Wow, she really had been quite stupid. Heading back out of the cannabis room and leaving the other two behind, Allegra headed back over to the unconscious trio. Making sure they were still totally out of it, she dug through their pockets, taking anything valuable including their wallets and whatever jewelry they happened to be wearing.
Grinning, she shoved her findings into her own pocket. She'd have more than enough for some food now.

"PFFT the cops? What are they to three kids with super powers?" Lily had suddenly appeared behind Catherine, causing her to give a slight screech in fright and freeze up. Lily moved past her and looked at the pots of drugs, "We could give these criminals and criminals like this our own justice. I mean, in the law they could easily get away with it by being sent to jail, which isn't even that bad! They get to lie around all day doing nothing? Do you call that punishment?" she turned to the others, awaiting an answer.
Catherine shook her head, only for fear of what her friend would do if she had disagreed...

Getting "slightly" annoyed by Lily, Manfred answered:
"Well, if you think lying around in prison isn't that bad, we could arrange something for you. After all, those plants might equally well belong to you. But really...let the police handle this. It's their job and far to dangerous for us. And no, I don NOT have "super powers". All I have is a taser and that's all I used."
Manfred obviously wasn't too excited. This wasn't Cluedo. This was dangerous.

Allegra poked her head in through the doorway.
"I don't know about you guys but I think i'm gonna leave now. Gunshots don't go unnoticed in a large city so the cops will be here soon whether we call them or not," she pointed out. Her loot was stored within her clothing, and she quickly turned tail, ducking back out of the doorway and heading off down the street.

Lily seemed stunned that the other two had refused her offer, and huffed in annoyance, "Oh, I get it. You're all just scared! Naruto is just afraid of his own little logical world will come crashing down because of something that can't be explained, and White-Head is too scared of cops to even stick around! You're all just a bunch of cowards! Come on Cat, we'll just find someone else to ship you with!"
"B-But I don't want to be 'Shipped'!!" Catherine's words were ignored as she was dragged out the door and into the streets. They headed back to the coffee shop where Lily began to have a one sided conversation on plans to fight back against the gang that had taken over their park.
