Shocking Friendships

The blue and black coated Pokemon was bounding to the pond that she loved to go to everyday after a long day of exploring. The sun was low in the sky, and the sweat from the eat and the exploring matted her fur on her body. When the Shinx got to the pond, she took some sips from the water, having forgotten to bring a lot of refreshments from home. She didn't think she would need them. Nor did she want them, challenging herself, yet again. Her fur glistened in the reddish light, glinting here and there. As Arashi took more sips, she listened around her, but only heard the rustling of leaves high above her.

A few moments later, she finished drinking from the pond, and picked her head up. The daylight was turning orange-pink, a beautiful color. One of the reasons Arashi liked to explore was the beauty in nature, but the challenge and daring of finding unique ways to solutions was the larger reason. She had no idea that she would meet new Pokemon that day.

Joey
Joey had been talking to Azeral the other day about visiting the pond. She had agreed to bring him back there for a bit. He figured it be nice to visit there as the sun set. He did not quite get to see it well the first time he was there. He was quite tired. On another note it was not even that late then either.

Joey would not leave Azeral's side unless it was absolutely needed. He had trusted her a lot since he had met her. She had cared for him and he liked that. A lot especially since he had no where to go ever since his escape from his destroyed home...

He followed Azeral towards where the small pond was located at.

Azeral walked on with her normal black hoodie covering her body and the hood up covering her face. Her bag was missing though and she had a new ribbon tied around her arm though it was hidden by the coat. She was smiling under her hood she was happy about what had happened before today but she didn't want to show it.

Inside though she wanted to jump for joy but she decided to hold off on this and just walk to the small pond alongside her new companion Joey. He seemed to be a bit attached to her but Azeral didn't mind to much. She remembered that this was the place she met him the first time. He seemed to tired then she was happy to see he was full of energy now

Arashi looked around her, and not seeing anyone, went to look for more spots that she could hide away in, maybe scare a few younger Pokemon. She soon found one, but it was too small for her to get in. As she continued to look, she wondered if these spots would still work when she became a Luxray. Lost in thought and the process of trying to find a spot, she didn't notice the two new arrivals.

Joey
Joey continued to walk along the path with Azeral into the area with the pond. Joey did not notice any other pokemon in the area other then themselves at the time. He entered and saw a few trees that looked somewhat familiar to him.

Joey looked up towards one of the tree's by the water. It was the same one he had rested near when he first arrived. "Its the same tree" he said with excitement as he ran over to it attempting to pull Azeral with him.

Azeral looked in her pockets and saw one blast seed. She felt like she might need it for a quick fight. She held it in her hand as she felt her other hand was grabbed by Joey and pulled over to the same tree that she had found him exhausted next to. She felt a bit sad for remembering this fact but also happy it had been her who found him instead of some outlaw.

She then thought she felt another presence other then their own nearby. Always on the alert the hooded ralts looks around and spots another Pokemon close by

Arashi had heard the rustling of two Pokemon moving quickly, and snapped out of her trance. The Shinx looked over at where she heard them, and saw a Pichu and what he thought looked like a Ralts. Knowing that there weren't usually any bad Pokemon in these areas, she walked over, still a bit cautiously. The one that seemed to be a Ralts had looked straight at her as she walked over. The Electric type decided that she could dare to risk it if these were bad Pokemon, which they certainly didn't look like bad Pokemon. Well, at least the Pichu. "Hi there!" She beamed at them, "I'm Arashi. Who are you guys?" She extended her paw out to the two.

Joey
The pichu was slightly started to hear the other voice other then Azeral's he had a slight reaction of charging up slightly as static popped from his cheeks. He swung around looking at the shinx. He stood next to Azeral for a moment. He remained silent for the time being watching the shinx. He did not want to fight it however would if absolutely needed.

Joey noticed Azeral's tension as she was looking at the shinx. He then looked back at the shinx. He did not know whether or not to answer or not.

Azeral looked at the Pokemon with a small smile on her face. She wasn't in a guard stance because she didn't trust the Pokemon it was because you could never be to careful while walking around. "My name is Azeral and this is Joey" the ralts said as she "nice to meet you" she said as she wondered what moves this Pokemon knew

Arashi was confused by the Pichu's reaction. Was she really that suspicious? She didn't think so, but she ignored it when the Ralts replied. The blue and black coated Pokemon smiled brightly, quite literally in fact. Her smile was shining with light, "Nice to meet you too!" The Shinx looked up at the sky, thinking for a moment. "Hmm, seems like there could be some light rain soon. We should probably find somewhere to get under just in case." Arashi told the other two Pokemon. "Not that I'm afraid of any water or anything like that." She added, "It's more for the fun of exploring to me!" The Electric typed smiled again.

Joey
Joey waved as Azeral had introduced him. He then walked up a little bit closer to the Shinx. “Hello…” he said softly. He was not entirely sure earlier if the pokemon was hostile or not but at the moment it definitely did not seem that way. “Rain?” he said as he thought for a moment. He smiled and then looked towards Azeral for a moment. “I… I want to go check something.” He said as he ran up the nearest tree to the top. He sat on the highest point of the tree for a moment. He stood up as tall as he could for a bit as he let the wind hit him for a bit.
If there was a chance that there was a storm out there heading this way. He wanted to see if he could sense the energy in the air as it blew by. He normally did this to track some storms when he hears about possible ones near his village in the past. He was actually pretty could at finding them too. Some storms gave off an odd energy with the wind similar to feeling the air being charged with static electricity. However it’s too subtle for others to feel it. Joey has somewhat developed a sense to this energy due to his frequent encounters with the storms. Sure enough, after a short while of being on top of the tree. He felt the charge in the air. He looked towards the direction from which the wind was coming from. He noticed some of the clouds in that direction definitely looked like it would drop some rain.

He climbed back down from the tree and was clearly excited. “It’s a storm!” he said with great excitement.

Azeral looked at the Pokemon as it said something about rain. "It might it has been raining for a while" she said as she looked over to Joey. "Let me guess" she said as he ran over and then up a random tree. "Yup" she said as she waited for Joey to come back down. "Rain is always fun, but that might be because I have my hood and never had it hit my head" she said as she waited for Joey to come down. "Must be happy then" she told her companion with a smile

Arashi watched as the Pichu bounded up one of the trees around them, getting up to one of the highest points. He had heard of some Electric type Pokemon that could sense storms based on the electrons in the air. Once Joey came back down, he had a smile on his face and told them there was a storm. The Shinx nodded, now knowing that here prediction was correct. She could tell based on how the clouds were formed. She learned all this on her own while adventuring everyday, picking up on every detail. "So I was right, there's gonna be rain. Joey, you must like storms, huh." She said beaming, "I like 'em, too. But more for the challenge of getting through it, you know?" Her eyes gleamed like a shining star, looking at everything and taking it in, too.

Joey
Joey nodded as the shinx said that he must like storms. He did not just like them. He loved them to death. He would go out of his way to get struck by lightning. Who would do this you would ask. A energy crazed pichu, that is who…

“I love them a lot.” He said with excitement still clear in his voice. He wondered how far off the storm is at the moment. It had to have been still forming since he did not see the lightning in the distance. The energy though is present to form lightning… He took a moment to think of whether the energy he felt was enough to lure a bolt down. He has not done this in a while so he would not know whether or not it was built up enough just yet.
He walked over next to the pond and dipped his tail in there. He then charged slightly to see the sparks jump around on its surface. He had made sure no one was around it for good this time….

Azeral didn't say anything as she watched the events unfold. Neither of them had actually said anything to her so she decided to not say anything not wanting to seem rude and interrupt a conversation. But it seems this conversation was a bit over when Joey ran over to the pond. She decided not to go over there considering he might be trying to do something with the storm maybe pull a bolt. She decided to sit and admire the two electric type Pokemon. The type she loved the most
