Michael walked along the edge of the murky swamp water with a knife at his side. He wore Converse shoes, light black jeans, and a Charcoal gray hoodie. He was about 16 with dark blond hair. He came upon a small house that looked abandoned. He walked up slowly as he pulled out his knife. He twisted the rusted door knob and opened the door in an ominous silence. The floor creaked as he walked slowly with his knife out in front of him. He walked into a living room where it looked like someone grabbed anything they could and got the hell out. Michael quickly located the kitchen and began rummaging through cabinets and the refrigerator.

A girl grabbed a pan off of the stove and swung at Michael's head. Instinctively he ducked under the pan and grabbed her arm. He dropped a bag of cheese out of his mouth and caught it with his free hand. "Um hi, I'm Michael." He took a step back and introduced himself. "I'm Ashley, now give me back my food or I'll make sure the next time you introduce yourself it'll be to God." She said stiffly. "Sorry, but I don't think you're in any place to make demands here. Now those walkers out there, they'd rather eat us while we kill each other over a block of cheddar." Michael pointed outside where there were 3 walkers scrambled towards the house. "Kill them yourself and I might let you stay here for a little." Ashley said while she snatched the cheese from Michael and nodded towards the handgun on the table. "M1911? My fist could kill them faster then that piece of crap." Michale mumbled a he opened the window and jumped out. He walked up the the closest walker and stabbed it between the eyes and then kicked it into another one. He threw the knife at the one that was standing and curb-stomped the one that got knocked over. He wiped off his shoe and then his knife. "All taken care of." Michael called as he walked in the door and put away his blade.

Michael's face grew grim and he frowned. He put the keys on the shelf and took a deep breath. He ran outside and started shooting at the walkers and whatever else was in his way. "Get out of here I'll distract them!" He shouted over the gun fire. He ran infront of the walkers, narrowly dodging teeth and claws. He ran making most of them follow him. "I'm sorry." Was all he could say. He ran into a small store and slid over the counter. he broke through a window and ran.

Ashley heard the gun fire and saw the walkers. She also saw someone running and getting them away from them. "Damn it Michael." she whispered as she started sobbing.

Roxanne had been shooting Walkers down right and left when Michael had shouted. Her eyes flew open wide. "Michael! Don't be stupid!" That was probably as close as he was going to get to a 'Be careful!' from her. She bit her lip and continued shooting down the remaining Walkers along with Clint and Nat.

Evelyn stood up and walked towards Ashley, averting her eyes from the gore that was flying about in the shop. She wrapped a cautious arm around her shoulders. "It's okay, Ash. He'll be fine." She murmured comforting words, albeit a bit awkwardly.

"Oh for Christ's sake."
Natasha said nothing more about Michael leaving as she found herself in a predicament. With the last of her arrows now in another Walker's head, she threw the crossbow over her shoulder whilst still attached to the leather strap and grabbed her gun from it's holster. Whilst Michael lead the most of them away, Nat began collecting all of her arrows from the now completely dead Walkers. Once she was happy she had all of them and had counted them twice, she holstered her gun once more in favour of the quieter crossbow.

Clint meanwhile had immediately dashed after Michael, not wanting to leave him on his own. Anyone alone was never going to survive in these circumstances. Besides, Michael was a part of this group, he wasn't. If anyone was going to risk a sacrifice it was going to be him. At least that way, no one would mind too much. Though he didn't particularly want to die either.
"Wait up you moron!" yelled Clint as he caught up to Michael.
sighing in relief he kept his guns aimed in case any Walkers came too close.
"There aren't many left you know. We could probably take them out without running so far. They're slow enough for us to pick them off one by one as long as you have a good aim."

Celeste just cowered in the corner. Despite the brave face she had put on yesterday she was deathly scared that Michael was going to die. Or perhaps even Roxanne or Natasha. She couldn't imagine what it must be like to see someone you know come back as a Walker and then perhaps have to shoot them...

"What I was trying to do was get them farther away from us just in case the gun fire attracted more of them." Michael said slowly backing away. A walker grabbed his shoulder and Michael rolled forward and avoided a bite. He swept the legs out from under the walker and kicked his head, ripping it off from the rest of the body. "Well I guess that counts as a traumatic head injury." Michael mumbled as he walked away from Clint.

Ashley walked around the store and knew it was best to just stay there.

Roxy holstered her guns in favor of the hammer she had managed to hold onto throughout the entire romp in the Walmart. She finished off the last of them with Nat's help and then stood up on her tip toes to look for Clint and Michael. She refrained from calling out, not wanting to attract any more Walkers or to distract them if they were in a life or death situation.

Evelyn chewed on her lip nervously, even more so when the gunfire stopped. She wasn't sure whether it was because all of the Walkers were dead or because the owners of the firearms had fallen.

"Psh. These tiny gunshots aren't loud enough to attract any more of them."
Clint just seemed to laugh in the face of danger, a much different approach to what Natasha seemed to have. He was still carefree enough to make a joke or two. It seemed almost like he wasn't taking it seriously, despite the fact that he genuinely knew that if he was at all careless, it could cost him his life. However it was probably true that the guns with the silencers on most likely woudn't attract any Walkers that hadn't already been in the area.
Clint continued to follow Michael, shooting a few of the Walkers in the head as he did so. He was a crack shot, despite seeing the ruined world through rose tinted glasses.


Natasha re-gathered the arrows she had fired and stood next to Roxanne as she looked for Clint and Michael.
"Do you think they're alright?" she asked, not lowering the crossbow. She still had an arrow loaded in it, though the rest were bag in the quiver like bag that was attached to her belt.

"Stop moving, were near a cliff." Michael growled as he looked down. "Ok time to kill." Michael smirked grabbing both of his pistols and getting head shot after head shot, making a spurt of blood and brain come out of the walkers. "Watching them real back and crumple to the ground is sadly satisfying." Michael joked as he reloaded one and unloaded the other.

Roxy paused for a moment before nodding. "I think they'll be perfectly fine. They can protect themselves." She lowered down from her tip toes and began walking out of the store. Once on the outside, she turned her gaze to the gun store where the other three were hiding out. It didn't appear as if any of the Walkers had gotten in there so Roxanne relaxed.

Evelyn spotted Roxy as she emerged from the store and breathed a sigh of relief. She knew that Nat couldn't be too far behind because Roxanne wouldn't have just left her and from what she could tell, Natasha could definitely take care of herself.

"Oh look. A cliff."
Clint seemed to either have not heard Michael, or had just plainly ignored him. One of the Walkers dived in, attempting to bite his arm. He dodged to the side before kicking it off of the cliff. At least down there is wasn't a problem for them.
He then began shooting the Walkers with the same accuracy as before, watching as they collapsed in heaps on the ground. Soon there were none of them left moving, all shot to death by one man or the other.

Natasha strolled almost casually out of the shop, her eyes immediately on the gun store. As she had suspected, the Walkers had ignored them in favour of the louder noises. She then turned to the direction that Michael had run off in, with Clint not far behind. A few moments later and she was walking back across the road, the crossbow in her hands ready to shoot any unsuspecting Walkers.

Once back across the road, she gently pushed open the door to the gun shop and darted inside.
"You all okay in here?" she asked, her voice showing concern for their safety, despite the fact that there were no signs of Walkers in or around the shop.

"We're... we're fine."
Surprisingly it was Celeste who replied first. She had stopped cowering in the corner and had gotten to her feet. She had just been rationalising to herself that she was only going to be the weakest link of the group if she didn't get her act together.

Michael started walking away when a hand grabbed him. He saw a knife come around him and go for his heart. Michael grabbed the wrist holding the knife just inches away from his skin. Michael flung his head back, colliding into the face of the the guy behind him. Michael wheeled around and pointed his gun at the masked man. "You've got one minute before I pull the trigger, now start explaining." Michael growled. "How about they explain." The man said snapping his fingers as a barrage of bullets started firing. Michael jumped out of the way as one ricocheted and skimmed his left cheek and one on his right shoulder. "Damn it!" Michael yelled diving to cover and yanking Clint with him. "We wait until the reload then we can either shoot back or move into the store over there and run like hell." Michael sneered as glass shattered and he raised his arms over his head.

Ashley nodded and sat on the counter waiting for Michael to walk in the door. She perked her head up at the sound of gun fire. "Did Michael take off his silencers?" She asked hopping off the seat and briskly walking to the back of the store.

Roxy's brow furrowed. She had followed Natasha into the shop and had heard Ashley's question. "Michael wouldn't be stupid enough to take off his silencers." She shook her head. "It doesn't add up."

Evelyn bit her lip and watched as Celeste tried to be a bit braver. She figured she should follow in her sister's foot steps but she was still terrified. She took a deep breath and stood before addressing Roxy's statement. "Perhaps we should go out and see what's happened?" she chanced to answer. "Although we'd have to be careful.. Just in case."

"Whoa there!" Clint raised his hands into the air as a man with a knife was suddenly aiming for Michael's heart. Soon enough Michael retaliated and just as Clint was about to ask what the hell this guy thought he was doing, Michael pointed a gun to his forehead.
Clint blinked as the mysterious guy answered before watching as he clicked his fingers. He quickly moved out of the way, dodging the gunfire. His two guns raised as he aimed to fire. Clint quickly realised there were too many of them and he couldn't get a clear enough shot, but before he could even try to move, Michael was pulling him away.
Clint also protected his head from the glass before replying, "If you go over to that gun store now you'll just show them where the rest of your group is. That is, if they don't know already."

Celeste watched as her sister suggested they go out and see what was happening. She didn't say anything though as she was rather reluctant to leave the safety of the store despite her earlier attempts to be braver.

Natasha heard the gunshots and quickly put two and two together.
"Walkers don't fire guns, that Clint guy had silencers and I doubt either of them would take them off. That must mean that someone else is out there....." she pointed out.

Michael breathed heavily and grabbed his M16. He checked the clip and slid it back in. He closed his eyes and exhaled. The gun fire stopped. Michael opened the car door and rolled in. He opened the other side and started shooting. Two guys fell down, taking their guns with them. Michael did another roll and grabbed one of the guns and was at the doorway of the building. Michael grabbed one of the bodies by the leg and dragged it closer so he could load the gun he grabbed. "They have AK47's!" Michael shouted to Clint.

"Should we stay here? I mean what if they see us come out of here? They would know where we are right?" Ashley spoke quickly. She kept looking out the back window.

Evelyn bit her lip and shifted from foot to foot. She wasn't used to making such huge decisions and tended to let others do that and follow along. "I.. I'm not sure." She said quietly, shrinking back against the wall.

Roxy straightened up and pulled her gun out. "Alright we can't just leave them out there. I don't care who comes but I'm going to go back them up. They won't be expecting an attack from behind." She slipped back outside, figuring Natasha at the very least would come along.

Clint stayed where he was. When the guns stopped shooting he peeked up from where he was hiding and shot at a few of them whilst they were loading their guns. He hated shooting live people, especially in circumstances such as this and so aimed for the non-lethal parts of the body such as the arms and legs. He nodded to himself at Michael's announcement of their weapons but remained silent and continued to shoot.

Natasha nodded and followed Roxy. Listening to the gunshots, she worked her way around the buildings so that she could find a position behind the gunmen. They looked to have just finished loading their guns. She scanned the area, trying to get an exact number of adversaries.

Celeste did much the same as Evelyn, wandering around awkwardly, but always keeping to the same metre or so of the floor. She eventually turned and grabbed a gun off the shelf and what looked to be the right ammunition for it.
"I-I feel safer around Roxy and Natasha..."
