The Beginning of an Ambiton

The little Dwebble gazed longingly at the entrance to her new life. Her earthy shell felt light for once and her feet seemed to barely touch the ground. She'd never remembered being so exited for something. For the first time in a while, she was speechless, struck by the awe and magnitude of this moment.
Of course, that didn't last long. It never does.
"Hello?" She yelled into opening. "Is anyone there? HELLO?!"

Although she could easily feel the tension in the air, the guildmaster decided not to intervene for the moment being, hoping for the Pokémon to settle this between themselves.
After all she wouldn't always be there to break up the disputes the group kept getting into.
These Pokémon sure were strange individuals,  their circumstances quite surprising.
The Meganium was wondering, what would happen with them.

Pyrra had passed through Grassveil for a reason, but up until now, she hadn't really given much thought on what she would do if she ever really started a team, just knew that it was a good idea to have a team to back her up as she became more adept to exploring. She had no idea how to lead a team, though, and these dim-wits fighting over noodles didn't look too promising as explorers. Granted, she knew the Snorunt somewhat, but she could sense the Chikorita directing something of a glare in her direction. She decided this wouldn't be the best time to bring up her ambitions.

"So... Fire mouse... is there something you want?" said Minato carefully. He did not want to upset the Cyndaquil. "Or are you just here to say hello to the crazy Snorunt? We're here to sign up. Speaking of which, Guildmaster Faye, we should really get on to it."

Garnet was very bored. It was never good when this happened. It's just below making her angry on "the things you don not want to do unless you want to get your head clipped off" list. At the moment she was thinking how a simple trip to the guide, the start of her dream, had turned into this mulch-storm.
Yet she did not regret it. She admired Minato's optomism, and, she painfully admitted to herself, the Snowrunts battle skills. That reminded her, she still hadn't learned his name.
Yet she didn't like this newcomer very much, and was starting to become peeved
"Hey Squinty" She growled at the Cyndaquil. "Are you sleeping, cause I really can't tell"
Hopefully that got her to hurry up.

"Your name is Pyrra, isn't it? May I ask what you are doing in Grassviel this afternoon?" inquired Omega, with a sense of foreboding that she also wanted to make a rescue team, "I'm joining a rescue team with this Chikorita, Minato and Garnet, the Dwebble. Speaking of which, we should probably finish registrations now"

Omega wanted to get this over with quick, so that this uncomfortable atmosphere would go away.

Finally the anxiety and chaos, that had been covering the situation like a blanket, seemed to lift if only for a bit. Were these four Pokémon actually beginning to get along or was this just the beginning of another fight? Faye couldn't tell, but she couldn't just interrupt their conversation either, so she decided to simply let things happen. Would things go too badly she would still have the option of intervening after all.
These four surely were a strange bunch.

Addressing the Snorunt, Pyrra spoke. "I was passing through town, seeing what it had to offer." Turning to face the Meganium, she decided there was no harm in inquiring about a rescue team. "You're the guildmaster, correct? Might you have any space available for a recruit in your ranks?"

Minato sighed. "It seems like everyone these days wants to join a guild" he muttered. "Wait, there's three team members in our team, but there's a maximum of four teammates..." Minato realized. He was uncertain of what was to come.

Garnet rolled her eyes at the incredibly boring convention the others had going on here. The Cyndaquil payed no attention to her insult and went on shyly staring. "Yeesh." Garnet muttered under her breath. "Would someone please just say something." She supposed she'd have to buck up, so she looked at the fire mouse and sighed exasperatedly.
"Would you like to join our rescue team?"
"Say no and leave" she chanted to herself. "Say no and leave, say no and leave, say no and leave."

Great. Of all the suggestions she made, she asked her to join this rescue team. Although he hoped that she would say no, his instincts said otherwise. Not really sure what to say, he just stood there shifted uncomfortably.

Hearing Pyrra's words, the spark in the Meganium's eyes grew even brighter.
Another Pokémon had decided to act on its desire to help others and make new friends.
It truly was a wonderful day. Happily the Grass type responded:
"Of course you can join the guild, dearie! You'd only have to decide, whether you'd like to join an existing rescue team or whether you'd like to found your own. And as it seems, you have recieved an invitation already. So, how will you decide, sweetie?"

Pyrra was not oblivious to the tension in the room, but she heard something of a challenge in the Dwebble's voice. "I'd love to join!" She looked at the rock Pokémon expectantly.

"Wha-" Minato was shocked. He did not except Pyrra to accept. "Ha Ha," he laughed nervously. "Okay... welcome... ha ha... hey..." Minato moved right next to Garnet. "Um... what now, partner?" he whispered to his bug-typed friend.

Good Arceus that was finally done with. Garnet looked hesitantly at the Pokemon in front of her. They looked at her expectantly. Like she was a leader or something. She enjoyed the feeling and took a few moments to savour it. Now that the epic stare down was complete, Garnet could hear her stomach growl with the force of a stampeding Tyranitar.
"Well then team" she whooped, her voice reverberating through the air. "I trust Faye will complete the paper work. Let's go get some ramen!"
She cast a cheerful glance at Minato. This crazy, wonderful adventure would've gone way differently without him.

Omega was stunned, what a surprising turn of events! Well, a little food couldn't hurt anybody, unless it was cold ramen, then he MIGHT get hurt. "Why not, but I'll abstain from ramen for now" Omega replied.
