The little Dwebble gazed longingly at the entrance to her new life. Her earthy shell felt light for once and her feet seemed to barely touch the ground. She'd never remembered being so exited for something. For the first time in a while, she was speechless, struck by the awe and magnitude of this moment. Of course, that didn't last long. It never does. "Hello?" She yelled into opening. "Is anyone there? HELLO?!" |

| Little did garnet know that she was attacking a clone of Omega, whom he had created with double team. Omega snuck up behind Garnet, and hoping to end this in one blow, fired avalanche at her, for hopefully one last time. |

| The battle had reached the intense part. It would be over soon. With concern the Meganium watched the two fight, ready to intervene at any second. But for now nothing bad had happened yet, so she restrained herself and kept spectating. Who would win this close battle? Either way, hopefully it would be over soon, so they could continue with the signups without anyone being hurt. All signs pointed towards that being the case. | |

| The avalanche hit her like, well, an avalanche. She didn't care, all her bones ached with the cold, and she could no longer feel her claws, but she would fight on. But then her shell broke. The ice coated shell couldn't stand the rapid temperature change and shattered. Garnet was left embarrassed and very very cold. Her urge to fight left her and she collapsed onto the now snowy ground. She weakly muttered "You better get me a new shell you a-" and with that she fell asleep. |

| "I didn't mean to break her shell!" said Omega, feeling guilty, "How much does a new shell cost, I don't think I have enough money for a new one!" Omega took off his cloak and put it on the now sleeping garnet. He picked up his still not finished chilled ramen and put it under Minato's nose to make him wake up. |

| Finally the battle was over, without anyone being hurt too badly. Happy, that they could continue now, the guildmaster used Heal Pulse on the combattants before utilizing the move Sunny Day to warm the Dwebble up. "Are you all right, you two?", the Meganium asked, concerned for their wellbeing. | |

| Pyrra the Cyndaquil had woken up early, against her better judgement. Resigning herself to conciousness, she took a walk to see the sights of whatever town she had found herself in. Grassveil, was it?
Deciding there was nothing interesting among the shops in the village centre she found herself in, she ignored the cold in her bones and the hunger in her stomach and instead focused on the buttercup-yellow lines her synesthesia painted with her footfalls. So focused was she that she didn't notice the abandoned perch by what looked like an entrance. Hearing something of a kerfuffle inside, she followed the sound, only to be met with the sight of a Meganium addressing some a shell-less Dwebble and a cloak-less Snorunt, with a sleeping Chikorita who's face was stuffed in a bowl of noodles lying nearby.
So this is what everyone did when they woke up early. She regretted ever waking up, and envied the Chikorita's sleeping state. But before she could turn back and go to her temporary place of rest, the Snorunt caught her eye.... had she seen him somewhere before?
Our pace had slowed to red, me pulling my little sister along behind me. I squinted against the wind in my face, making sure I could still see our parents. If only someone better suited to the mountains could help us find our way.... who was that up ahead, in an brown cloak?
Ah, yes. She knew this Snorunt. |

| Minato started sniffing the ramen. "Huh?" Mutters a half-sleeping Minato. His eyes suddenly open. "Ewwwwwwwww, cold ramen... ruuuuuuuuuunt!" Minato shouts. He starts chasing Omega. "GET BACK HERE" |

| Garnet woke up slowly. The sun shone bright on her back, and she was wrapped in a warm blanket. The pain in her bones had faded to a gentle tickle. Needless to say, she was in ecstasy. She hadn't been this warm since she'd left the desert. She didn't want to open her eyes in fear that it was all a dream. But her stomach growled so she opened them very slightly. Faye stood over the Dwebble, showing no strain from heating the air with Sunny Day. Garnet graciously flashed the guildmaster a quick smile. Then it all began to dawn on her. She's lost the battle, her shell was destroyed and Minato would probably freak out. She wished to hide back under the blanket, which she'd identified as the Snorunt's cloak. But she saw the short, black Pokemon being chased by Minato, and decided that it was about time to be the smart one. So she got up to look for a new rock, and she didn't see the Cyndaquil looking at her. |

| While Omega was running away from Minato, he noticed a the Cyndaquil staring at Garnet. He was certain he had seen her before, but he just couldn't remember where he had. While thinking, he decided it was time to stop running, so he said to minato, "if you stop chasing me I'll buy you some hot ramen later!" and stopped to think about where he had seen the Cyndaquil. But before he got caught up in the moment, he thanked the guildmaster for healing him and Garnet.
.... AH! he knew where he had seen her! He was wandering the mountains when he had seen her family of nomads completely lost, and helped them get out of the mountains to somewhere warm. But what was she doing here? He'd come here to look for a job. |

| Watching all these Pokémon run around performing various activities made the guildmaster chuckle once more. The energy of youth truly was a thing to behold. It was clear to see, that these Pokémon would be having fun on their journeys. Addressing the two ex-combattants again she spoke: "You're welcome, dearies. Now let's wait for these two to calm down so we can continue, shall we?" | |

| Sensing her gaze being returned by the Snorunt, Pyrra let her gaze wander around the warmly-lit room. Wishing to maintain her aloof looks, she avoided taking in the sight of a Chikorita who looked torn between anger and excitement for fear she may lose her air of seriousness. At least, she hoped she looked serious. How exactly does one look serious....?
Snapping back to reality, she saw the Snorunt still giving her a curious look, no doubt trying to remember her. Blushing, she decided to lose the seriousness and introduce herself. "Uh, hey. Name's Pyrra." was all the explanation she offered before looking to the floor and shuffling her feet. |

| Minato saw the fire Pokémon and looked away. Minato doesn't like Fire types. His Mama always said to stay away from them: "They'll burn houses. They'll burn our possessions. And they'll burn the little leaf on the top of your head, so stay away from them Fire types, ya hear me?" But Minato also knew that a type advantage wasn't everything. He stood were he was, and waited to see what Pyrra the Cyndaquil had to say, even though he was aware of the danger she posed. |

| Everything got awkward after the Cyndaquil showed up, seemingly out of nowhere. Garnet could almost feel the tension in the air as she witnessed the three-way stare down. So she half-heartedly waved them off and went to find a new shell. The rocks here weren't very different from in the desert. She quickly settled on a pyramid shaped stone, and spat the translucent blue liquid onto the stone, which started melting with a deep fizz. "This is always a last resort" she murmured to herself grimly. She remembered how during the battle she could feel the acid rise in her throat, like it always did when she was about to lose it. She slipped into the hollow shell and returned to everyone else. |

| Omega shifted uncomfortably, he rarely saw his clients after his missions, and after helping the lost family without pay, he'd hoped to not see them again. For once, he wasn't too sure what to say. "Umm, you're the girl from the family I helped travel through the mountains, right?" He asked, uncertainly. He wanted to get the signing over with, quick, but at least the snow made him more comfortable. He hoped the young Cyndaquil didn't want to sign up for a guild as well. |
