The Beginning of an Ambiton

The little Dwebble gazed longingly at the entrance to her new life. Her earthy shell felt light for once and her feet seemed to barely touch the ground. She'd never remembered being so exited for something. For the first time in a while, she was speechless, struck by the awe and magnitude of this moment.
Of course, that didn't last long. It never does.
"Hello?" She yelled into opening. "Is anyone there? HELLO?!"

Although she sighed at there being another fight happening, Faye guessed, that she had no choice here.
Those two probably wouldn't be getting along until they had faced each other in battle, so it was the only course of action available.
"Very well...just be careful, okay? You don't want to get hurt after all, do you?"
Slowly the Meganium walked away from the place, that would soon become a battlefield.
While she wasn't one to battle without a very good reason, she understood, that there were some Pokémon, who favoured fighting to settle their conflicts.

"Woah woah woah" said Minato. "I am staying out of this one. I'm too hungry to fight a Pokémon who has a type advantage. You settle this by yourselves. But Garnet. Kick his butt" said Minato with some bitterness in his voice.

"Okay", said Garnet eagerly, and with that she leaped into the air, using the weight of her shell to create a sort of dive-bomb. She hadn't battled for a long time, and couldn't wait to "kick his butt" as Minato had said. She'd create moves using the opponent and the environment. She was hard to beat, and she definitely wouldn't let herself lose in front of the guildmaster.

However, unlike Garnet, Omega was usually training somewhat and wasn't all that "rusty." He rolled away from where Garnet was going to land, and prepared to hit her with his trusty move he had known for a long time, Avalanche.

While the two of them were fighting, Faye stood there, watching.
While the young Pokemons' techniques certainly were interesting to watch, they still had much to learn. And they woud certainly learn how to battle, once their team would have been formed.
For now the abilities they already had would have to suffice.
Hopefully noone would get hurt in this battle.
But if it were to come to that, the guildmaster was ready to intervene.

Minato went to sit next to Faye. Minato was really enjoying the ensuing battle. "Go, Garnet, Go!" Cheered Minato. His faith in his partner was increasing, even though she was at a disadvantage. "She's a great fighter, huh?" He said the the majestic Magenium.

It's safe to say Garnet under estimated the speed of her opponent. But as he dodged, she lashed out with a quick fury cutter and wept his feet out from under him. Then she began to prepare a Night Slash.

Omega could certainly tell that Garnet was more than a bit rusty, but nevertheless, she was a dangerous opponent. After using powder snow to block her view, Omega quickly took the chance to circle garnet and fire Avalanche at her arm

"She has an interesting fighting style indeed.", the Meganium agreeed.
"But she still has much to learn. She's trying to show off a little too much in my opinion. That dive-bomb just now could have ended badly for her. But as this is only a friendly battle it's not too bad. Especially considering none of you having any real battle experience this talent is something to be respected. And I'm sure you will all grow much stronger on your journeys as well."

"Fighting experience. Huh," replied Minato. "I hope on day I have a lot of that. I look forward to becoming stronger; much stronger. I agree with you about the dive-bomb, too. Quite risky."

Garnet's claw shot out and grabbed the stubby arm of the Snorunt. She swung him around her head, threw him into the air, and prepared a rock, the fluid in her mouth moulding it so it would spin it the air, and collide with the flailing pokemon.

While Omega was flailing, it occurred to him that flailing wasn't that good of an idea, but he continued anyways, he needed to wait for the perfect moment to blind Garnet, otherwise he was a goner. As Garnet was about to fire, he used powdered snow to blind her, and prepared to use avalanche

As the battle went on, the guildmaster began to reminisce about her time as an adventurer.
How long had it been, since she was the one to battle wild Pokémon, to go on adventures and explore lands noone had ever seen before? And now it was time to let the younger ones try. What would these three Pokémon experience? Would they make new friends? Would they make new enemies?
Who would recieve their help?
And most importantly of all: Would they have fun together?

Minato was getting bored of waiting. The battle was long and intense. But he never did get his lunch of ramen, and he was starving. He yawned. Made himself comfortable in on the pillow he was sitting on, and decided to take a nap, hoping to be woken up when the battle was over.

Garnet was not having the best time, what with being blinded and subsequently squashed. But having experience with sand, she was able to dig her way out of the snow. She was also very resistant to the snow in her eyes, what with there constant sandstorms where she used to live. But she needed to fool the Snorunt into thinking she was blinded, so she hobbled around the battlefield. But she saw him with a smug grin on his face, laughing at her, and was blinded once again.

She lept at him from behind and kept at him with a barrage of fury cutters, each stronger than the last.
