Ferry Journey to Florasia Island

People seemed to be gathering in Vermilion City's harbor. Which of these people were getting on the ferry to Florasia island, Jennifer didn't know. The second letter she had received, after accepting her place at Epochire Academy, had detailed the date and time of the ferry's departure. The S.S Aqua, which was currently docked in the harbor, would be leaving soon and the S.S Elizabeth arriving. It was part of Jenna's nature to be rather early, just in case something held her up on the way there, but now she had a rather long wait.
Lumi was perched on Jenna's shoulder. The Emolga rubbed her cheek against the side of Jenna's face in a sign of affection. Jenna smiled. At least she wouldn't have to wait alone. Taking a seat on a nearby bench, Jenna dug through her bags to find her sketchbook. She figured she could indulge her love for drawing whilst she waited.

A half hour or so later, the S.S Elizabeth docked in the harbor and opened the entryway to let people on board. Tucking her sketchbook into her bag and taking out her ticket for the ferry, she headed towards the boat, Lumi gliding on ahead. Jenna handed the ticket to the man by the entryway before taking her things on board.
After being shown to her cabin, Jenna sat on the bed for a while, piling her stuff neatly in one corner. The journey would be a few hours long, so she hoped she'd find something interesting to do on the way to Florasia Island. Shrugging to herself, she stared out of the window and watched the far off waves. Maybe she'd meet some new friendly faces during the journey.

"That was akward... If there isn't anything else I think we are going to get back to training." Kirito said, releaved.

"Actualy i'm kinda bored, Can I run around a bit?" Ren asked Kirito.

Obviously kirito couldn't understand exactly what Ren was saying but he picked up on the tone of voice.

"Tired of training?" Kirito asked. Ren nodded. "ok, You can go do your own thing."

Ren ran up to the front of the boat, thrust his arms out and proclaimed: "I'M KING OF THE WORLD! always wanted to do that."

Fabio barely heard what the girl said but luckily the other one explained and was happy about finding his partner "yes! She's mine thank you" he said smiling. "I told you not to wander off Kishi...." He was now a bit embarrassed he looked like a moron loosing his Pokémon. He sighed then said putting on a cheery face "hello, I'm pleased to meet you".

Jikui laughed as he saw the Chimchar do a "Titanic" scene. "That Chimchar of yours is awesome." Vulcan tugged on Jikui's shorts-leg, "Cyndaquil? (Can I go play with Ren?)" She blushed a little. "Heheh, I think Vulcan has a little crush..go ahead, buddy." Vulcan covered her face, then walked over to where Ren was, and stood next to him. "Heh, funny. So, what do you plan on specializing in?"

"Fighting types obviously. many of the moves can be improved by taking martial arts and applying it to the technique in which a move is performed. For instance, Ren Can Curl his punches in a way that makes his thunderpunch a much more effective move." Kirito said, proud of his friend's ability.

Ren watched Vulcan come up to him so he leaned on the real, raised an eyebrow and said: "Come here often?" With a silly grin.

Jenna smiled, glad to see that the concerned trainer was reunited with his pokemon partner. Lumi glided forward, using a sudden updraft of air to glide up and land on Fabio's head. "E-molga!~" she cried cheerfully. Jenna couldn't help but smile at her partner's enthusiasm for meeting new people. It almost made up for her own lack of it.
"Hello, i'm pleased to meet you."
Jenna just nodded from her position behind Chris.

Ed was on the ship with his Pokemon out right next to him. "Sigh how long is this trip I just want to start my classes and get this over with." Ed said as he was bored out his mind. Then his Pokemon Rose took a look at him. "Min min chino." (You need to stop being down and make friends.) Rose said to him as Ed was confused as she pointed to a group of people who were talking and looked like they were fighting Ed look at Rose. "Oh no I am not going to join in a conversation also not going to bother them either." Ed said as Rose got a little mad and grabbed Ed's Jacket and ran off with it "H-hey dang it Rose give that back!" Ed said as he chased after Rose. Rose then stopped and dropped his jacket on the ground and climbed on Ed's shoulder. "Dang it Rose you know I hate that now lets get ba-." Ed stopped at mid sentence when he found he was next to the group of people and Ed let out a sigh. "Uh hi." Ed said and felt a little uncomfortable.

"Nice to meet you too." Chris held out his hand to the boy, wanting to be friendly about things. "I'm Chris. What's your name?" He introduced himself and asked, chuckling slightly about the boy and his pokemon. He glanced over at the Mincinno that seemed to be heading to the group and dropping a coat, leading another person to them.
"Wow, people must be falling out of the sky or something. Nice to meet you too!" He greeted the new guy, laughing slightly as he did so.

Elliot sat up on the bench. He'd barely made it on the ship, being the very last person in. He had immediately sat on the bench, and leaned back. He'd daydreamed for quite some time now. He looked down, seeing Amber. She was, as usual, sleeping. He petted her tail a little. She opened her eyes and looked up at Elliot. She smiled. "Eev! Eevee!" Elliot grinned. "Glad you're up now. Since I'm going to be at this school a bit, I thought I'd..." He sighed. "...socialize." He really didn't want to, but he felt he had to. He'd look wierd if he never talked with anybody. So this would be a bit of a big step forward. Amber grinned and nodded. Elliot rolled his eyes. She always seemed to be a little motherly to him. He shrugged. Not too much of a problem. He got up. Amber jumped onto his head, atop his fedora, and curled up there. Elliot walked over to the group, and saw a Mincinno run past him, with a jacket in its mouth. He watched as its trainer followed, and the trainer was placed right into the group. Elliot chuckled. "Looks like I'm not the only one who isn't wanting to be sociable." He walked up to the group. "Hello. What are you guys up to?"

It seemed like a small huddle had formed around them. Fabio became a bit uneasy he never liked large groups but once again he put on a cheery face and said "hi I'm Fabio, and this is Kishi" pointing down at the Piplup by his feet. "Nice to meet you" he said with a smile, he became a bit worried he didn't know if he was anywhere close to being as strong as them.

Jenna hesitantly stepped back a few paces, an uneasy feeling setting in again once more people began to draw close again. She gave the group room to talk among themselves and whilst they were distracted introducing themselves to each other, Jenna moved over to the railing where she stood staring out at the ocean once more.
Lumi glided over to Edward, landing on his head and messing up his hair before gliding down onto the ground and scampering off.

Jikumo nodded, "That's a cool path. So you're gonna take the trainer route, eh? That's a good way to go." He looked over the side of the boat, with the water pokemon jumping in and out of the water with grace, "Me, I'm going to become a coordinator. I like to see the battlefield lit up with amazing effects."

Vulcan covered her face again in that cute way she did, "C-cyndaquil... (Y-you look great up there..)" She walked up and looked out at the ocean, it was calm and clear, with the sunlight of the setting sun reflecting off the surface.

"I like to think myself a bit more practical, but it does take a certain pizzazz to manage a battle so it looks like a show." Krito said, making some conversation.

"You know, This is the first time I've ever seen the sea, I mean when we left for this school from snowport. It's really pretty." Ren said to vulcan, staring out at the waves.

Ed wanted to leave and go back to his business but people started to introduce themselves to him. "Hey my name is Edward you guys can just call me Ed." Ed replied to the others, without paying attention an Emolga landed on his head and messed up his hair then jumped off and ran off. "Hey what the heck was that about?" Ed said while his hair, then Rose started to laugh at what happened. Ed let out a sigh. Of course Rose is laughing sigh man I hope we can get to the Island soon. Ed hopes this won't happen again but he never knows.

Jikumo nodded, "That's great. After all, pokemon battles shouldn't just be about winning, right? You have to have fun with it." He pointed at the goldeen splashing in and out of the water, "Even wild pokemon believe in putting on a show. It's a great and fun thing to do."

"Cynda? Cynadquil! (Really? I thought you would have seen the entire world, you look so wise and strong!)" She blushed again and tried to focus on the crashing waves, "Cyndaquil. (I hope we start soon, I want to see this new place.)"

Elliot tilted his head. Looks like they were just talking to the one who's pokemon brought them there. He shrugged. He looked over and saw one of the people had left the group. He walked over to her and leaned on the railing. "I doubt they notice we're gone...that's a nice Emolga you got there. I'm Elliot. This is Amber." Amber opened one eye while sleeping on Elliot's head, and she turned over.
