Ferry Journey to Florasia Island

People seemed to be gathering in Vermilion City's harbor. Which of these people were getting on the ferry to Florasia island, Jennifer didn't know. The second letter she had received, after accepting her place at Epochire Academy, had detailed the date and time of the ferry's departure. The S.S Aqua, which was currently docked in the harbor, would be leaving soon and the S.S Elizabeth arriving. It was part of Jenna's nature to be rather early, just in case something held her up on the way there, but now she had a rather long wait.
Lumi was perched on Jenna's shoulder. The Emolga rubbed her cheek against the side of Jenna's face in a sign of affection. Jenna smiled. At least she wouldn't have to wait alone. Taking a seat on a nearby bench, Jenna dug through her bags to find her sketchbook. She figured she could indulge her love for drawing whilst she waited.

A half hour or so later, the S.S Elizabeth docked in the harbor and opened the entryway to let people on board. Tucking her sketchbook into her bag and taking out her ticket for the ferry, she headed towards the boat, Lumi gliding on ahead. Jenna handed the ticket to the man by the entryway before taking her things on board.
After being shown to her cabin, Jenna sat on the bed for a while, piling her stuff neatly in one corner. The journey would be a few hours long, so she hoped she'd find something interesting to do on the way to Florasia Island. Shrugging to herself, she stared out of the window and watched the far off waves. Maybe she'd meet some new friendly faces during the journey.

Sean got to Vermilion Harbor just when the S.S. Elizabeth got docked. "Just on time, eh Roadhog?" He said. "Tepig!" The lively Pokemon said. Sean got on board and went to his cabin, and watched some TV. "I hope I can find something to watch for the trip." He said, knowing how long the trip will be.

"Look, I'm really sorry, I thought this was the other ship." Chris apologized to the crew member escorting him and Tora off of the S.S Aqua. In all honesty Chris hadn't seen what the ship looked like before, and he hadn't noticed the name. Easy mistake, he tried to rationalize. Anyways, back on land he turned and watched the S.S Aqua leave, to be replaced by the S.S Elizabeth.
"Okay, that one has the right name on the side so I'm sure this time it's the right one." He commented to his partner. Tora nodded her head and emitted a cheerful sound to show that she trusted he would make the right decision this time.

After boarding, Chris walked through the ship, being led to his room. Once he got there he thanked his escort and sat down on the bed, looking around at the room.
"Well, I think we're allowed to go take a look around, and it's better then sitting here. Come on, let's go take a look!" He suggested, getting back up and opening the door, looking to see if anyone else was around before stepping out and walking down past a few doors, gradually quickening his pace. He couldn't hide it, he was fairly excited about the whole thing. As he started to get faster, he slipped up on the floor and tried to slow down. Oh that's not- he started to think before he fell directly onto the ground.

Before the ferry left the docks, Jenna wanted to have a look around to see what it was like. She'd only been on a boat once before and that was the journey she'd made before this one to come from Unova to Kanto. She quite liked the views from up on deck when the ferry was moving, especially in sunny conditions like today had been.
"Come on Lumi," she smiled, closing the door to her cabin and locking it behind her. From there she headed up to the deck. She stopped however, when she saw a boy sprawled on the ground. Blinking, she moved closed, Lumi gliding over to land next to him.
"Are you alright?" asked Jenna, her concern for the boy's welfare overriding her preference for keeping to herself.

Adrian, who had already been at the docks an hour earlier, eagerly awaited the approaching ship, his Hoothoot Aion bouncing up and down by his side. Sitting on his bags and staring onto the mirror of blue waves in front of him, he thought about the things that might happen at the school. It was a rare honor he was given and Adrian was certain to put it to good use.

Finally the ship became visible, slowly pulling itself forward through the white forest of foam that had formed in front of it. After the ship had docked, he immediately got up, quickly grabbed his bags and quickly boarded the ship, only momentarily stopping to give the man at the entrance his ticket. He made his way to his cabin and sat down on the bed. Adrian then pulled a book out of one of his bags. It was a rather heavy one, titled: "Dual Types and you; a reference guide". Immediately he became absorbed into the book, taking up as much information as possible to be prepared for the upcoming test and anything that might happen after that.

Aion instead was busy testing the bed's springs by relentlessly bouncing up and down on them.

Chris pushed himself back up a few seconds after he had fallen and after he heard somebody ask him if he was alright. He smiled and brushed himself off, the pause in movement giving Tora time to catch up with him.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a small trip, nothing too bad." He responded, a bit more cheerfully then one would expect from somebody who had just had an up-close encounter with the floor. "So, uh, who are you? I'm Chris, nice to meet you." He decided to introduce himself, not wanting to create any awkward silences with the girl he had just met, especially since it was an opportunity to meet new people and make some new friends.

Jenna smiled hesitantly as the boy got to his feet and announced that he was fine.
"Oh, me? Jennifer," she replied quietly, her brown eyes wandering to where Lumi had wandered over to Chris' Shinx. The Emolga seemed to like this new Pokemon already. Jenna assumed that they got on quite well due to their electric typing.
"..and this is Lumi," she added, the Emolga turning at the mention of her name to wave with one paw.

Kirito and Ren Had already taken a boat to get this far, and were both quite annoyed at Having to do it again. He quickly made his way aboard with no problem. Then he was tackled by at least 20 security guards after unsheathing his katana to look at his teeth in it's reflection. 30 minutes later there was a pile of weapons as tall as kirito. Striped to his underwear and given only his quarterstaff, Kirito made his way onto the boat a second time. He found his cabin, left his stuff, and made his way up to the deck to spar with Ren. To anyone watching it looked like a fight to the death, even though Ren wasn't using any moves.

Sean went out of his room when he saw there was nothing on TV. He walk around with Roadhog and saw a girl and a boy talking with each other. He thought this would be a good opportunity to make some new friends. "Hi! I'm Sean!" He introduced himself. "And this is Roadhog, my Tepig." "Tepig!" The Fire Pig exclaimed.

Jikui and Vulcan were running up the road, seeing the ferry. "C'mon, Vulcan, pick up the pace! I can't believe we had to stop to get you food!" Vulcan glared at him, "Cyndaquil!! (You're the one who wanted to eat!)" They kept running even as they entered the ferry, and crashed into a boy and his pokemon, Tepig. "Watch oooouuuut!!!" Wham! When he got up, he saw that two others were watching them, "Eheheh...sorry about that, we were late, so we just kept running. I'm Jikui, and this is Vulcan, well, nice to meet you!" He scooped up Vulcan and headed to his room.

Fabio had recently boarded the ferry and his heart was racing. He never thought he if all people would be given such a prestigious honor, he would finally be able to work towards his dream. He looked down at Kishi, his piplup, and asked "you ready for this?" Kishi nodded in approval and Fabio looked forward with a determined look.

Sean just got up and brushed himself off and his Tepig. "I'm Sean, and this is Roadhog, my Tepig!" He introduced. "Tepig! (Hi!)" The excited Pokemon said. "Tep Tepig Pig! (I just love meeting new people!)"

Fabio walked forward and saw two people over in the distance. He knew he should make new friends on this journey, so he picked up Kishi (much to her dismay) and ran over to them and said "hi"

Jikui entered what he thought was his room, and saw a Hoot-Hoot and a boy in the room. "Oh, is this your room? Sorry about that, we must be neighbors! My room is right next to this one...I think. So what's your name? Mine's Jikui! This is a nice room you have." Vulcan walked up to the Hoot-Hoot that was bouncing on the bed, "Cyndaquil! (Hey, my name is Vulcan, what about you?)"

"Uh...greetings...",
Adrian responded without looking up from his book at all.
"My name is Adrian. I do believe that this experience will be interesting. Now then, what do you specialize in? Are you a trainer or more of a coordinator? Maybe even a breeder."
