| It was early morning, nothing but water around the small fishing boat, Upon the small ship, there were three people. One of them, the youngest, was awake and in the kitchen, baking a nice helping of muffins, and frying some omelettes. While that was cooking, the young man had been dicing up some mangoes to put in the blender.
It had been four days since Hayes joined the crew, which he had really enjoyed. One day,m when they had nothing to do, they had a fishing competition, which Hayes gave up on when he started to get really antsy. He was still a little nervous that he might mess something up, or they might start to resent him, but he stayed strong and continued to trust Caim and Shiori wouldn't shun him. A few minutes later, he had finished preparing breakfast, and rang the bell to signal that it was time to eat.

| Once again Caim had been up relatively early, instinctually being driven to the Ship's wheel to guide them on their way through the waters towards land... It was his duty, and nothing one could say could convince him otherwise. He was being rather gentle with the steering, understanding the cook was at work down below, he didn't want to disturb the Cook's work after all.
Since their little 'Fight' at Yulippe the seas had been relatively calm, only on a rare occasion the tranquil waters rose up in anger, and even then it was easilly managed. The sea had been do quiet during their travels that once again a fishing contest had been pulled together. As the Previous champion of the contest, Caim understood the Captain wasn't a huge threat to his reign, however Hayes was the newest threat. In the end it appeared that Caim had maintained his rule.
Back to the present, Caim had kept his course steady. From a map that he had acquired, he figured there was an island not too far off from their current location, however he lacked geographical information on it.
(Meanwhile) A young teenage woman had only just walked off of a large civilian vessel that had ferried her and many others from another nearby isle. Turning back to glance at the large Argosy class vessel she had been aboard, she merely nodded her head and walked away, hoping to in the very least acquire a map of the Civilized island... Siuthan was a large place after all, better to learn the lay of the land as soon as possible.

| Shiori had been the last to awake that morning, not particularly having anything she needed to immediately attend to. Though she had yet to really tidy herself up, she had thrown some clothes on and wandered into the fishing boat's kitchen to see what the wonderful scents that were floating through the ship belonged to.
Peering into the oven, she could spot the blueberry muffins that were slowly rising within as they baked, and it appeared that Hayes had already made omelettes with cheese and pepper and if the tawny haired captain were honest, they smelled gorgeous.
Hayes himself was currently blending fruit and Shiori finally turned her attention to the cook, "Morning Hayes, what's for breakfast?" she asked cheerfully. Although she'd already judged the basics, Hayes could of course give her the details on the food they'd be eating that morning.
Leaning against the wall, she fished into her pocket for her ribbon and tied her hair up in it, figuring she'd make herself more presentable once she actually had food in her stomach.

| If Hayes had been turned around, he probably wouldn't have noticed Shiori enter the small kitchen. The blender was making too much noise for him to hear any small movement, such as the opening of a door. Maybe he should put a bell up on the door, just in case something bad wanders through the gates to Heaven. Or at least Heaven in Hayes's eyes.
"G'morning to you, too, Shiori." He stopped blending the mangoes, and poured the thick juice into three separate cups, putting little umbrellas in each. He then took off his pink apron, hanging it on the tiny hook next to the counter. " And today's special would include my famous, or maybe not so famous, blueberry muffins, delectable cheese and pepper omelettes, and, for drinks, we have mango smoothies, each with their own little rain protectors."
Just as he finished talking, he heard a ding go off behind him, signaling his muffins were done. He turned off the heat to the oven, but on some protective gloves, which were also pink, and grabbed the tray full of muffins. At a glance, it seemed that were about a baker's dozen of them, all with the same, fresh smell of bread and berries.

| Caim leaned back slightly from the ever present wooden wheel that manipulated the vessels rudder with a faint sigh. Land was still out of sight for the time being, and due to having gotten up before the rest, he'd not particularly a great amount of energy as of yet. He figured that just burning all of his energy prior to eating wouldn't be a great idea... A small break wasn't such a bad idea.
Walking away from the ship's wheel once he was certain it was safe to do so, he turned his focus to the anchor. Due to his lack of energy physically lifting and dropping it into the blue abyss beneath them wouldn't have been a safe idea, so instead he shrugged and approached it. "Yowayowa Ayatsurimasu" He commented, Telekinetically lifting up the heavy Anchor. Due to the extreme weight of the metal construct, he was only able to move it overboard before being forced to release.
"Anchor has been dropped, be ready for a shift of weight" Caim called out, wanting to at least let them know before any accidents could happen. Now picking up on the curious aromas emanating from further within, he shrugged his shoulders slightly and headed towards them, intending to work out what the Cook was creating.

| Shiori braced herself after Caim's yell and waited for the shift of weight that the helmsman had warned about before she poked her head through the kitchen doors to grin at Caim. "Morning Caim!" she greeted him with a wide smile, "Hayes made omelettes but he remembered not to put peppers in your ones," she added with a cheerful chuckle. With that she retreated back into the kitchen, eager to dig into the food that their cook had made for breakfast that morning.
When breakfast was well underway and Shiori had eaten through her omelettes, she stopped to taste her mango smoothie, enjoying the fruity taste for a moment before she spoke up. "Seeing as we don't have a designated navigator yet, do you know how close we are to the next island, Caim?" she asked the helmsman.

| Hayes had set down the muffins in a hurry to make sure that the mango smoothies wouldn't tip over when he heard Caim's call through the rooms. After he secured the drinks and set them back down, he started on making everyone's plates. With a quick whiff of each omelette, the the teen could tell which ones had peppers and which ones did not.
A few minutes into breakfast, Hayes had already devoured his omelettes, two muffins and half of his fruit smoothie. "Oh, and we need more salmon for dinner. I ran out the other day, so hopefully wherever we're going has some." The dark haired teen almost drooled in anticipation for tonight's meal, as it was his turn to decide the dinner.

| Caim had merely waited by the kitchen doors, having been ready for the sudden shift of weight when it happened... He was the one that called out the warning after all. As his Captain popped her head out from behind the doors and commented about Hayes having made omelettes, having not added peppers for his, he merely nodded quietly in approval. He'd never liked peppers and just pepper in general back once he was a child. Back then. He wasn't allowed to put the food to waste, he had always had to suffer through what he didn't like... He had to grow disciplined in more ways than just in his manner or on the battlefield.
Skipping ahead slightly to to breakfast, Caim likewise had eaten his pepperless omelettes in silence, not wanting to disturb the relative peace and quiet that existed for the time being. Soon enough however this peace and quiet was shattered as his Captain and the Cook spoke up in relatively quick succession. "We're not far off the next island if my calculations are correct. Judging from the maps, we should arrive in a few hours at the most. From what information I have, it's a large civilian isle, probably perfect for resupply" Caim answered, he couldn't make any true guarantees, but he had a general understanding of how long it would take if they avoided any distractions.

| Shiori nodded at Hayes's comment, taking it into account before Caim spoke up in answer to her question. The tawny haired captain managed to eat an entire muffin whilst her two crewmates were speaking, finishing just in time to respond. "Alright. It shouldn't be too much trouble to get some salmon and anything else we need then," she replied with a smile. Her expression turned thoughtful for a brief moment afterward "Though i dunno how much money we have left...."Shiori didn't dwell on that thought for long and quickly moved on, "So what do you think the place is like?" she asked with a grin, grabbing her glass of mango smoothie and taking a long sip. -A few hours later- A certain captain had tidied herself up a little bit since breakfast and had proceeded up to the crow's nest to write in her journal and watch out for the upcoming island. Hayes had joined her a short while later and Shiori eagerly shifted over from where she had previously been taking up all the space lying on her stomach, to make room for him to sit down. | |

| Hayes sat back, stabbing another muffin with his butter knife, and biting out a large chunk. "Last I checked," The blue eyed teen said in between bites, "I had around 30000 Berris. I've also never been anywhere outside of Yulippe, so I couldn't give my insight as to what kind of place it is." After he finished eating his meal, he retired to the kitchen to begin cleaning up and washing the dishes he used to cook and the others used to eat from.
A few hours later, Hayes found himself reading one of his 'special' novels up in the crow's nest, along side Shiori. He figured out that the captain didn't know what he was reading, and never seemed to show interest, so he assumed he could just read them, even while the tawny haired teen was right next to him. The wind blew his long, chocolate brown hair all over the place, disturbing its neat sort of mess that laid upon his head. He still had to be careful of Caim, though. He seemed a lot more strict about this kind of material. Well, at least he's the only one that ever opens the kitchen drawers, anyways. The smell of salt was starting to become fainter, which only he could probably tell the difference. It meant that land was close by, and that meant the closer he was to his salmon.

| "If I had to hazard a guess, probably a little noisy, lot of people... It is a civilian isle after all, one should expect many such things as homes, markets and the like, probably a few large towns spread out around the island" Caim Responded to his captain, providing his insight on what he was expecting. Considering his general line of work as a Helmsman and from having travelled through the Grand Line, he would probably be their best bet for such presumptions so far.
Several hours later, while the other two were off on their one, doing whatever it was that they were, Caim had returned to work, having to pull double duty as both Navigator and their Helmsman... It required much more thought than one would think at first, that went without saying. He was stood at the helm, carefully manipulating the wheel and utilizing what maps he had to guide the vessel through the endless blue waters. Where the others had more exciting roles, his was generally monotonous... But he wouldn't have had it any other way.
Taking a moment to use an available telescope (or whatever they were called back in that time), He could see land on the horizon finally. "Land in sight, prepare for docking procedures upon arrival. I repeats, land in sight, prepare for docking procedures upon arrival" Caim called out, hoping that the Captain and the Cook would hear regardless.
(Meanwhile) The young woman had since learned the general lay of the land in regards to the moderately sized port town she was in, and was currently within a tavern like structure, not to drink, but to eat... Near death experiences make food seem all the better afterwards, it helps get your mind away from it. She had heard some disturbing rumours as of late about odd disappearances on the Island, but for now she merely left it be... she understood she had to be careful though.

| Shiori looked up from where she had been squishing words of her native north blue written language onto the last few pages of her journal in order to keep the notebook up to date. It was getting more and more of a struggle as time went on and the book was near filled. For now though, Caim's words were more interesting than writing in her journal and she hopped to her feet, snapping it closed before hopping up to balance on the edge of the crow's nest.
Shading her eyes with one hand, she could just spot the oncoming island and grinned widely. Despite being her excitable self, she somehow managed to remain balanced on the edge of the nest, as if she'd been trained as a tightrope walker her whole life. When the boat hit a particularly large wave, the tawny haired captain grasped the pole that should have held a flag.
Shiori began conversing excitedly with Hayes about what the new island would be like, but spared a quick, thoughtful glance at the flag pole before filing the thought away for later use.
Soon enough, they'd dock at the new island and be able to explore! Shiori couldn't help but wonder what this new place had in store for them, as her adventures thus far had been rather interesting indeed.

| Hayes perked up when he heard about the land, looking up from his novel and over the edge of the crow's nest. Soon, he would be able to stock up on some food, and hopefully there would be some salmon there. After sharing his two cents about the prediction of the island's general feel, he jumped off of the high area and landed neatly on his feet. The chocolate haired cook was nearly ready to dock. All he needed to do was make sure he had some Berris for food, and other, miscellaneous items of interest.
Gathering up what little currency his father had handed him when the crew had departed from Yulippe, Hayes ran from his small sleeping quarters and bounded over to the mast, ready for docking. "So, Caim, about how long do you think it will be until we get there?" He yelled off to the helmsman, his light blue eyes sparkling at the land inching ever so close.

| Honestly becoming a little more cautious with the movements of the wheel and rudder, Caim didn't particularly want to mess up the process, especially when there were even more individuals on board. He was honestly used to working with a navigator for the more... Fine tuning of angles and such. Regardless, the Helmsman just wanted to keep the ship moving in the right direction without any accidents happening.
"It shouldn't be too long, the weather is generally favorable at this moment in time" Caim responded before returning his focus towards controlling the vessels movements. He was in control of their safety at the moment after all, he couldn't allow an accident.

| As Hayes left the crow's nest to go and collect his money, Shiori also leaped down from the high point, landing neatly on the deck and jogging over to stand next to Caim. As they drew closer to the island she could see what looked to be a rather heavily civilized area, with buildings that looked like they could easily be people's homes being spotted even this far away.
For once, the tawny haired captain was patient as they drew closer to the island's harbour, taking in the sight and wondering what adventures and experiences the seemingly peaceful island might bring.
