An Autumn Quest

A small Vulpix was sitting by the edge of a lake, her head dipped as she drank in the cold, fresh water. The Fox Pokemon seemed relaxed, at peace besides the lake, which almost seemed to have been dyed red and orange from the perpetually Autumn island. It was clear what had drawn the young explorer here, rumors of treasure and a new Mystery Dungeon. And for once, those rumors had proven true.

It had been something of a trip to get here, a three day long walk through Serene Cave. But it was already worth the journey. Who knew what was waiting to be found here? If she was lucky, then maybe she could be one of the ones who found something. Even if she wasn’t, well, she wouldn’t have really minded. Wasn’t half the fun in these things trying to find the treasure in the first place? Assuming there was a treasure to be found, anyways.

And so Lumina sat up, her guild bag slung over her back and a light blue Heal Ribbon wrapped around her right forepaw. She stepped gingerly over a path of stepping stones, cautiously trying to not fall in the water. She knew how to swim just fine, but being in water for too long might be harmful to her, being a fire type and all.

As she neared the island, she gazed into the forest, trying to tell what might lie ahead. She shifted her Treasure Bag, taking in the scent of the crisp Autumn leaves. Whatever was waiting for her, she would be ready.

The Pichu looked up at Lumina, "I fell wierd, and the pain, I feel it coming from inside." He grunted, the pain started to become unbearable, he felt weak, colapsing to the ground, he then tried to take out the thorn that was in his side, but he was so weak that he didn't have enough force to do so, the poison had drained him of most of his strength.

The Vulpix noticed the thorn that was sticking out of his side, seeing some sort of purple fluid that coated the thorn. Judging from that, and the fact that it had been a Cascoon that hit the Pichu, he was probably poisoned. "Just hold still. And eat this." She advised, pulling out a small pink berry from her Treasure Bag and handed it to the other Pokemon. Hopefully Noel could handle the last few feral Pokemon.

Noel looked at lumina she seemed to have Raze handled so Noel decided to focus on the fight at hand as she looks at the bug type as it launches needles at the girl dodging then after seeing what they did to Raze Noel didn't want to mess with them as she got closer to the Pokemon jumping up to avoid the last few spikes she then charged a force Palm as she smashed into the Pokemon "just stay down" she whispered as the Pokemon closed it's eyes as Noel jumped away.

She ran over to check her teammates as she stands next to lumina looking at raze she bends down to him "you ok Raze?" She asks with concern in her voice she knew lumina could handle whatever had happens she seemed to always be prepared but Noel decided to ask just to be safe

Raze looked at the berry that was handed to him, at he slowly ate it, it was a very sweet and soft berry, so it was rather easy to eat, as after a few short moments, he felt the pain soothe, and the wierd feeling go away, what happened to him? Whatever it was, he sure didn't that to happen to him again, his strength slowly returned to him, partially though, "I'm better now... what was that?" He looked at the thorn, pulling it out of him, flinching slightly.

"A pecha berry. They cure poisoning." The Vulpix explained, glancing over at Noel. She gave the Riolu - Lucario now, she corrected herself, that would take some getting used to - a quick nod to let her know she had the situation under control. She trusted Raze's word when he said the berry had helped, so her hunch must've been right. "That was my last one, though, so be careful of any poison types we may find here." She advised the two. ... well, she was talking to Raze more than Noel, since the Lucario was immune to it now that she was part steel type.

Noel give a small sight of relief as she went back to her towering stance when hearing about the poison Noel reached into the berry pocket in her bag and pulled out the same pink berry lumina had given Raze she only had this one though feeling it would come in handy put it in the pocket that was close to her paw so she could grab it easy when someone got poisoned "if you want to sit for a second Raze that would be ok" Noel says still slightly worried

Raze looked at the Vulpix, he had heard of poisoning, but he never thought of it bieng so bad, maybe because he was young that it manifested so quickly, "Thanks Lumina... you saved me, I'll be carefull next time." He said to Lumina.

He then looked at Noel, "No need to stop, I'm sure I'll be fine, thanks for your concern." He smiled, slowly getting up on his feet.

The Vulpix nodded hurriedly, a little unsure of how to handle the gratitude. She hadn't really saved the Pichu, had she? Surely the poison wouldn't have been fatal. But she had helped him, at any rate, and she supposed she could accept the credit for that. "Not a problem, Raze." She said clearly, facing away from the electric type and into the forest, ready to continue further into this strange new place.

Noel nods as she looks into the forest and then back at the two of them "if you say so raze come on let's go" she says with a enthusiastic smile as she walks on she notices some items and walks over to them a disc a root a stick and a green berry Noel looks back over to her teammates and points "items over here" Noel tells them only as loud as she needed to be as she looks over the items and wait for her friends

The Pichu looked at Noel, and walked over to where she was, seeing the items that she had mentioned with a smile, looking back at the Vulpix, "Come check it out." He said.

The Vulpix gave another quick nod, walking towards where Noel had found the items. "Who wants what? You two can pick first." She offered, seeing nothing that looked too valuable. She wouldn't have much use for the Big Root, and she couldn't use the TM nor the stick (the latter due to a lack of hands). The Lum Berry might've been nice, but she could live without it if someone else wanted it.

Noel looked over the item's most of them were pretty useless to her but she decided to at least grab one item so she grabbed the stick ... she didn't really have a good reason for having the stick but she was sure she would come up with something plus she was kinda the only one in the group with long arms to use the freaking stick "I'll just take this" Noel says a smile

The Pichu looked at the items left on the ground, the disk had caught his eye, he couldn't learn the move that it would teach right now, but it could teach him the move when he evolved, he walked closer and picked, "This will become usefull later..." He opened up his bag, and placed it inside.

With a small shrug, the Vulpix picked up the Lum Berry and put it in her Treasure Bag. Something that versatile was likely to come in handy. She left the Big Root on the ground, having no real use for it, one of the other two could take it if they wanted it. "Now then," She nodded, glancing between the Lucario and the Pichu. "Shall we keep going?"

Noel nods as she looks around the area trying to look for anything with her aura after seeing nothing really she gives a small nods "I sense Pokemon around be aware" they might of been far away but depending on the Pokemon type they could get here very easy so they should be aware.

Well to be honest they should always be aware in the mysterious dungeons mostly because of what happened just then so with a stick in hand Noel walked forward.
