An Autumn Quest

A small Vulpix was sitting by the edge of a lake, her head dipped as she drank in the cold, fresh water. The Fox Pokemon seemed relaxed, at peace besides the lake, which almost seemed to have been dyed red and orange from the perpetually Autumn island. It was clear what had drawn the young explorer here, rumors of treasure and a new Mystery Dungeon. And for once, those rumors had proven true.

It had been something of a trip to get here, a three day long walk through Serene Cave. But it was already worth the journey. Who knew what was waiting to be found here? If she was lucky, then maybe she could be one of the ones who found something. Even if she wasn’t, well, she wouldn’t have really minded. Wasn’t half the fun in these things trying to find the treasure in the first place? Assuming there was a treasure to be found, anyways.

And so Lumina sat up, her guild bag slung over her back and a light blue Heal Ribbon wrapped around her right forepaw. She stepped gingerly over a path of stepping stones, cautiously trying to not fall in the water. She knew how to swim just fine, but being in water for too long might be harmful to her, being a fire type and all.

As she neared the island, she gazed into the forest, trying to tell what might lie ahead. She shifted her Treasure Bag, taking in the scent of the crisp Autumn leaves. Whatever was waiting for her, she would be ready.

'Fallen Leaf Copse' :

Lumina narrowed her eyes, glancing at Noel. "How many are there?" She questioned, getting ready for a fight. She felt more ready than ever, now that she had done quite a lot of travelling and seen more than a few battles. It would be helpful to know what they were facing, though. Even if she had seen a monster house or two before, who knew that lurked on this island? She summoned a small vortex of flames, trapping the Deerling that had leaped out of the bushes in the middle of a Fire Spin.

Energy: 2 (+2 From Heal Ribbon)

With the two that had just emerged from the bushes they was 7 feral Pokemon in all Noel swore slightly they were outnumbered by more then Half as she took a sitrus berry from her pack and ate it restoring the energy she had lost on the way here and got into a low fighting stance staring her opponents down.

"There is seven in all" she says as she waits for them all of the Pokemon were still a bit away from them but walking towards the group

Raze looked around, the group was severely outnumbered, he couldn't back down now, there was no way his journey was going to end here, he looked at the Deerling, trapped by the Fire Spin, and attacked it, shocking it with a Thunder Shock, he had to be carefull on how he used his electricity, as it would slowly chip away his stamina.

The Vulpix glanced at the Furret, who seemed to be focusing on her, presumably because she was the one who created the Fire Spin. It probably viewed her as the biggest threat, for the moment, at least. It sprinted towards her with otherworldly speed, using Quick Attack, but Lumina had an idea and used a Quick Attack of her own. The two Pokemon slammed into each other, sending them both tumbling onto the soft, leafy ground as they tried to recover their footing.

Noel stood in her low stance as the two teddiursas had tried to attack Noel quickly dodging both attacks from the two Pokemon as she slams her leg into one of the bears launching it away as she turns on her heel and force palms the other away quite the distance knocking it out with sheer force as she looks at the

The Pichu looked at both of them briefly, Noel seemed to be doing fine, se he decided to help the Vulpix, using Volt Tackle on the Furret, striking it hard with it's head, although he felt the recoil punish him too, maybe that wasn't the best idea, but it least it did some heavy damage to it.

Lumina hurriedly pulled herself back to her feet, noticing the Pichu warding off the Furret with what looked like a Volt Tackle. Almost like her Flare Blitz, the vixen thought, but with electricity instead of flames. "Thanks." She murmured, unsure if she had been loud enough for the electric type to hear her. Thinking fast, she let an orange aura surround her body, small flames seeming to burn off her fur as she prepared a Flare Blitz. The Furret tried running towards her again, as apparently it hadn't learnt the first time, but Lumina slammed into it with a fiery tackle and knocked it away. It let out a sharp cry, apparently burnt by the flames. The Vulpix started gasping for breath, looking around to make sure nothing else was trying to attack her. That was the downside of Flare Blitz, it always seemed to leave her winded.

Noel was aware of all around her at the time as she sensed the ghost type attacking her from behind using her foresight and kicking the ghost away as one of the deerlings and the bear she hadn't knocked about attacking her from both sides as Noel bent low and kicked bother stunning them slightly as she then charged two force palms into both her her hands and sent two waves of air throwing them both back knocking the other bear out and hurting the deer

Raze looked at the Furret, it seemed weak, and a quick Thunder shockwas enough to make the Furret not a problem anymore, however, this left him open for an attack, a sharp sting hit him at his side, he fell to the ground, he felt the spot where he felt the sting go numb , feeling something wierd happen to him, realizing he was hit by a Poison Sting, as a Cascoon came out of the bushes.

The Vulpix turned around just in time to spot Raze fall over, instantly searching for the source. That was when she spotted a Cascoon. She'd heard something about Cascoons once, how they remembered every attack they'd suffer as a cocoon and look for revenge once they evolved, but that had just been a superstition. Heck, it might've even been a different Pokemon that she was thinking of, Lumina didn't quite remember it clearly. But a little fairy tale like that wasn't going to stop her from attacking it, as she used Fire Spin once more to trap it in a ring of flames. She glanced over at Noel, checking if she was already, and noticed the Lucario handling her enemies with little trouble. Lumina had to admit, she was a little envious. Would she be that powerful once she evolved?

Noel couldn't help but smirk she had taken out two Pokemon as she was ready to take down the last two the ghost and the deer as the ghost jumped at Noel she leaped back dodging the attack but was hit by leaves coming from the deer as Noel got a idea she ran over using foresight as the ghost attacked once again she hit him quickly with a force Palm knocking it into the deer and both into the water around the edge of the area as they both got on the stepping stones and ran off

The Pichu looked at himself, seeing a thorn in his side, it was the first time this had happened to him, he quickly got up, firing a weak Thunder Shock at the Cascoon, the Pichu fell to his knees, the wierd feeling getting stronger, as he started to feel pain inside of him, the situation was obvious, he was poisoned, but so quickly, he didn't expect it and a slight feeling of shame overcome him.

Lumina kept an eye on Noel, but it seemed the Lucario could handle herself. "Raze, are alright?" She questioned, though that was more of a formality, something was obviously wrong with the Pichu. She walked towards the electric type, who seemed to be in pain, from the look of things. Maybe she had something that could help. It was a bit of a longshot, true, but it was worth it to check.

Noel was about to go check to see if they were ok when something had kicked her right in the chest as she stumbles back slightly it was a hard stomp as she looks at who did it, it was a deerling the one lumina had trapped by now the flames had gone as Noel gets into her fighting stance.

She dodged most of the attacks as she counters with her force Palm it took a little longer then she wanted but she managed to knock the deer out
