| Nobi seldom imposed her will on the wind. She was used to its stubbornness, and had long gave in to its whims. Besides, she was mostly satisfied with her unknown destinations. You can’t be disappointed if you don’t have expectations. That might have sounded sad or depressing from someone else, but to the young Hoppip, it was a way of life, one that had always brought her joy and cheerfulness.
Today was different however. In her approach of this region, she had often heard about the beauty of this place, of the amber leaves offering their hue to the sunshine, of the silent tranquillity of this recluse forest. She knew she would probably have to get busy soon. She had no money while needing a lot of it for her dreams to come true. For this reason, Nobi desperately needed some quiet time of her own, before selling it away. That was why she dared defy the powerful winds to choose her own destination, for once.
It did cost her, though. She was tired. Winds were not easily tamed, especially by someone of her stature. Once she was certain of her safety, she found a place to drink some fresh water and take in the sunshine. She would need a synthesis snack before proceeding sith the exploration. She closed her eyes, listened closely to the dim noises of the forest, and deployed her leaves to feed.

| "Good day for a walk" an Ashen figure murmured, having roused itself from the comfortable underground rooms beneath the great tree. Long having chose to treat the sacred domain of autumn as his home, Deimos had grown used to the stable nature of the dungeon. Perhaps due to the Great tree serving as an eye of the dungeon, the Copse seemed to change far less than some other dungeon's he'd wandered through in the past. It was a perfect locale to stay, both to work and to stroll through.
Having left the Library, Deimos headed off on a relaxed gaunt towards the stepping stones, curious to see if the copse would welcome any new guests for the day. After encountering a fellow that shared his enthusiasm for the area just the day before, He was undeniably curious to see if the young Riolu would pop up again once more. Reaching his usual spot under cover of a large tree near the dungeon's entry way, he carefully set aside the reaper cloth bag before fishing out the documents from the strange complex once more, Determined to crack open the secrets of the facility.

| The warmth of the sun made its way through Nobi’s body. She was ready to leave. She just might have stayed a bit longer, if only to enjoy the discreet flow of he stream and the chatter of distant flying types, but her wanderlust was itching. She didn’t travel all this way just to sit down. With a final twirl of her leaves, she began to hop around aimlessly, looking for anything of interest.
The winds were no storm but they definitely made themselves felt, that was clear for the small plant. She could spend a dozen seconds off the ground without any effort, just idly rebounding when her small blob-like feet touched the soil. The place certainly had its charm. She didn’t regret coming here. She did wonder why she had not seen any pokemon as of yet.

| Deimos let off a soft sigh before he began his attempt at translating the document once more. The first entry seemed to have given a name to the odd passageway that had been discovered in the last attempt at exploring the forsaken complex, though with the second entry switching the writing style from runes to another script he was undeniably a little perplexed. skipping over to the next few pages, at around the fifth the book returned to using rune text, though notably messier than the original entry. "A shared journal or record maybe. The first entry specificed that place was a Quarry, so the text should be from the workers" Deimos murmured under his breath, before hearing the sound of some movement close by.
Carefully hiding the book back away in his Reaper Bag and rising from his seat, Deimos stretched, before heading in the direction the sounds originated from. Another guest? Did the Riolu return to visit the library?

| Nobi’s leaps were getting longer and longer, as she rode on the winds. At times, she tried some fancy acrobatics. Nothing wrong with a bit of training, especially with her training grounds being so nice. She was also getting faster. Soon, she would have quite a precise idea of what was in her surroundings.
And yet, everything was so disturbingly quiet. The first time she had heard of this place, she misheard it as the fallen leaf corpse. Even now it chilled her to the stem. Not only that: the winds were rising. It was not a playfully authoritative gust as she thought, but a raging storm building. The time of play was over...
Or so she would have liked. She was still the plaything of the powerful wind, as she scraped against unforgiving branches and stern rocks. She desperately needed to get a hold of herself. Upside down, her helpless feet wobbling in the air, she screamed to the first face she saw:

| Taking a short gaunt over to see just what who had arrived to the eternal domain of Autumn, Deimos glanced around in a relaxed manner. Though it was a fairly quiet day, Deimos had no complaints. Quieter area's had always been what he preferred, some preferred otherwise. That was something he could respect.
Deimos came to a halt after seeing the source of the noise, a grass type caught up in the winds, being hurled around at it's mercy despite the Mon's protests. With a cry for him to evade rang out, He let off a soft sigh before moving aside. As the Grass type began to pass him by, Deimos turned and slammed downwards with one of his paws, aiming to avoid stabbing into the lass with his claws while bringing her back down to the ground.
"Ready to flip?" He asked, understanding from the flailing legs that the grass type had gotten turned upside down her tryst with the wind.

| A slam to the ground put an end to her haphazard flying, though under the dark type’s paw, she felt she had found her own end. The absol dexterously caught her on the wind and could have just as swiftly ended her life, she didn’t doubt it for a second. And yet, no claw was drawn, the only strength that was applied was the one necessary to stop her predicament in the first place. In one move, this stranger had proved both their good will and their power. How lucky she was that this was her first meeting here! Her feet were still flopping helplessly, but that would soon be remedied. She nodded and finally returned to upright stability. A simple spin of her head leaves to check if everything was alright, and she had collected herself. She offered a wide and grateful smile to the stranger.
« Thank you. I guess I should not have underestimated the winds here, huh? The name’s Nobi, I’m new around here, and I was told this forest was a sight to see. To be fair, even upside down and hurled by the winds, this stays true! Are you a resident? »She was very attentive of the other pokemon’s reaction. He had proved quite impressive and kind, so she wondered what kind of person he was. OOC: - Sir Thomas No More carried out 10 launched of one Fallen Leaf Copse :

| Carefully flipping the Grass type over once the all clear was given, Deimos pulled his paw back and nodded. He didn't have the guts to actually finish someone off, so the Hoppip's fears, though understandable were unfounded. He wouldn't deny that he easily had the physical qualifications to pull it off. Sharp claws capable of being extended as blades of shadow, Teeth that could tear flesh apart and a strong horn that could be brought to bear if necessary, as the crimson accident attested. He already deeply regretted the one incident caused by the mind being addled into confusion in the past. Never again.
"Deimos, a resident of the Fallen Leaf Copse, I help run the local library and those group that works out of it." The Absol replied with a casual nod. What's the point of a Library if it never get's visited?

| Well, when they say don’t judge a book by its cover... Nobi wouldn’t have thought it would go that far. Sure, the absol did prove to have good intentions, yet she would never have guessed him to be a librarian. She did her best not to show her surprise. Instead, she understood that this library was a pride of his, and that he probably wanted to show it off. Oh well, might as well visit the local landmarks, shouldn’t she?
« Good to meet you Deimos! So, what is this library like? What kind of books do you — »
She stood still for a second. The sound was distant, barely a whisper caught on the wind. But a whisper like that she could not ignore. It was a child’s wail, possibly someone lost or afraid.
« Did you hear that? »
She did not wait for an answer. She immediately searched for the quickest way to find it, oblivious of the trap she’d be getting herself into.

| Deimos let off a soft chuckle at the Hoppip's enthusiastic response, immediately trying to delve into working out just what kind of library he helped control. That enthusiasm was quickly drenched after hearing the local kids trying to cause trouble again. Having lived within the dungeon for so long, he had a general grasp over the native species, easily identifying the cry as coming from a ghost type.
"Slow down, Nobi. I know that cry, it's the local ghost types, Phantump. They send cries or try to lure others away into the forest to try and make friends with them, but most often they get people completely and utterly lost if you don't know the area" Deimos explained as he glanced in the direction of the cry. Trying to get a newcomer lost immediately? Not happening when a scout's around! "If you want to say hello to the ghost kids, i guess i'll have to come along."
