Notes;

• Pokemon all start at level 12 or below.
  
• One egg move per pokemon. No TMs or Move Tutor Moves.
  
• History must also include how you met your first pokemon.
  
• Pokemon's ability can be either a normal one or a dream world ability.
  
• All Starter Pokemon must be chosen from the lists I will provide below. They are all rather basic. If you wish to ask for one not in the lists, PM me or speak to me in the chatbox and i'll consider letting you.
  
• You must live in the region where you can find your starter.
  
• Characters should be 13 or 14.
  
• Characters should not have any previous relation to another character.
  
• Characters shouldn't live in the same town or city as another character.
  
• Partners cannot be shiny.

Name: Edward "Ed" Achimu

Personality: Ed is a nice guy who is anti-social and likes to train and catch pokemon. He accepts a few people as friends due to the fact he only had 1 or 2 as he grew up. For the up side Ed does speak his mind and will stick up for friends if they are in trouble.

History: Ed grew up in Aspertia City as a kid. He was never fond of going around and making friends he usually just sat at home watching TV or reading a book. As a kid Ed wanted to be a pokemon trainer so he can train with trainers and win badges so he can beat the Elite 4. At the age of 10 his dad brought him a Poke-ball inside it was a Minccino and Ed was happy and named her Rose. When Ed turned 13 he received his invitation from Epochire Academy. Ed was a little excited about it but when he heard it will help him become a better trainer and Ed did not want to pass that up. Ed is acrobatic as well so he knows how to climb trees well and also knows how to get on the roof of his house he hope he can take gymnastics or something that will make him move around in Epochire Academy. most acrobatics he learn was from his Minccino.

Other: Rose keeps Ed in track if he is suppose to work or something else and she is level 10 but can hit hard and can pull Ed around.

His dad can't enroll him at Epochire because Epochire chooses the student not the other way around but i'll just approve anyway cause that's the only thing wrong with it.

Personality: Emma is spunky and kind, and though she can be as calm as water she can also be as energetic and charismatic as a flickering flame.
History: Emma was the child of an ex-Magma and an ex-Aqua; both brilliant scientists with moderately high positions (and a lot of potential for promotions). Her mother and father quit as criminals in order to raise their child properly once they found out they were expecting, and they made their home in Pacifidlog Town in order to lay low and avoid harassment from the two criminal groups.
Tetra and Emma met when Emma was still fairly small. Presumably Tetra had been kidnapped by one of the two criminal teams, but had managed to escape and wound up in the watery region near town, where Emma found her.
Emma, who was a very bright and quick-learning (and sometimes even sharp-tongued) child from birth, had a happy childhood, despite the occasional problems when one of the teams would stumble upon the small family. As these occurrences became more numerous in frequency; her parents reluctantly decided that it was time to seek a safer refuge for their child while they dealt with the trouble at home. The recruitment letter from Epochire Academy couldn't have come at a better time.

Other: Tetra is a very spunky and upbeat Pokemon; drawing from a lot of her trainer's personality and energy. She is a little more level-headed, however.

Tetra is level 10 thanks to some of the "experiments" Emma had her help with, during which she froze small parts of the ocean near the two's hometown with Avalanche and got a lot of Sharpedo pissed off.

But, that is a different story for another time. |D

Name: Elliot Rose

Personality: Elliot is mysterious, yet friendly and kind. He will help anyone who needs his help, even if they're total strangers.
History: Elliot was always the loner. When given the choice between daydreaming under a tree or playing with friends, he would bolt for the tree. Due to his preference to being alone, he excelled in school. He took karate, but only for the skill. He didn't care about the other students in his karate class. But something changed one day. Elliot was practicing karate in the forest when he heard something nearby. He ran over to where the noise was coming from and found an eevee abandoned with a broken pokeball next to it. The eevee was tired and hurt. Elliot immediately scooped it up and ran for home. When he got home, he and his mother got to work caring for it. When it was nearing bedtime, his mother put the eevee in a basket with a blanket. Elliot was worried about the eevee, so he moved his bed blanket and pillow next to the basket and slept there. When his mother came in to check on them in the morning, she found the eevee had gotten out of the basket and curled up next to Elliot's head. After a few days of care, the eevee was back to full strength. They took it to a pokemon center to check in case if there were other problems, and there were none. That's how they figured out the eevee was a girl. They put up posters all around town, trying to find her owner, but nobody stepped forward. That's when Elliot popped the question "Can we keep her?" His mother found that to be a wonderful idea and he got to keep her. Elliot thought for a little bit and named the eevee Amber. Over the next year, they became the best of friends, completely unseperable. They even shared a bed. Elliot and Amber began to battle around the town, finding they were great in battle, as well. On Elliot's 14th birthday, a letter arrived from Epochire Academy. Elliot and his mother read it, seeing that Miles had been chosen to be a student. Elliot turned to Amber, saying, "Well, what do you think, Amber?" Amber nodded, thinking it was a great idea. Elliot packed up and then went to Epochire Academy with Amber.

Other: Amber likes to sleep a bunch of the time. When she does, she usually just curls up on the most comfortable place on Elliot, wether it's on Elliot's head, his shoulder, or in his arms. She feels cranky if she's woken up by anyone but Elliot.

@Fox, How did Emma meet Tetra? Also just so you know the team magma/aqua stuff will not affect anything inside the rp other than your own character's backstory. I'd like to avoid overly dramatic side plotlines where possible |D

Personality: Anthony is a pretty laid back person and is also a bit lazy. He tries to not let anything get on his nerves and rarely gets angry. Although not one to start conversations, he listens very carefully to any conversation that he has ended up in. A bad habit that Anthony has is sometimes he'll zone out while thinking about something, oblivious to what's going on around him.
History: Anthony has lived a rather average life so far. He grew up in a middle class family in Petalburg City with 2 sisters, one younger and one older. Since his sisters got more attention from his parents, Anthony would usually go out into Petalburg Woods and hang around a clearing for most of the day.

On his 13th birthday, he got a Pokeball as a present from his parents and was considering starting a journey. A few days later when he was out in the woods, he came across a seriously paralyzed Taillow in the clearing he hung out in. He ran with it to Petalburg's Pokemon Center and then took care of her as she recovered for the next couple of months. When she had finally recovered, Anthony was going to release her back into the wild, but when he tried to, the Taillow returned to him each time. Finally giving up, he decided to capture her as his first Pokemon. As he trained her in Petalburg Woods, they developed a very strong bond, though this doesn't always show. After Wolf had been with him for months and his 14th birthday had passed, he received the invitation letter from Epochire, packed his stuff, and left home for the Academy after saying goodbye to his family.

Other: Not really much to say about Wolf, though she has a really tight bond with Anthony. Also, her name is a reference that hardly anyone will get.

Personality: Tyler is always happy; he likes to joke a lot, and loves to have fun. He is also extremely confident when it comes to battles, and he enjoys reading. He really cares about Pokemon, especially his friend Bob.
History Tyler was born and raised in Oldale Town to Thomas and Rachel Jacobson. When he became twelve years old, his cousin, a league trainer named Matthieu, gave him an egg containing an Electrike. When Tyler received his Pokemon, he became determined to become the best electric trainer ever, and prove that specialized trainers could beat the Elite Four as well.
Unfortunately, it hasn't been going too well.

Starter Pokemon: Electrike
Nickname: Bob
Ability: Static
Moveset: Tackle, Thunder Wave, Fire Fang, Howl.

Other:
Pokemon's Personality: Bob is a very determined Electrike; once he puts his mind onto something, it takes a lot to turn him away. When talking with other Pokemon, he often speaks sarcastically, though he is rarely intentionally offensive. He also likes to pretend to hate his trainer, often acting hostile towards him, although the truth is that he cares about Tyler more than anything else. He does, however, genuinely believe that he would make a better trainer than Tyler, and this may not be completely false; he is much better at battling without the orders of his trainer, such that there is an unspoken agreement between them that Bob does his own thing while Tyler simply heals him and brings him back into his Pokeball.
Something else of note is that he's become used to human culture and technology, to the point of being able to play Metal Slug with Tyler well (although with his sharp claws and his static ability, the duo have become regular customers at the local video game store, constantly buying controllers.)

Some numbers have already been chosen so it's easier to sort this out in the chatbox, but yea just as a heads up.

Note; Could anyone else thinking of signing up please think about making a character from Kanto or Johto rather than the other regions. Ty ^-^
