• Pokemon all start at level 12 or below.
  
• One egg move per pokemon. No TMs or Move Tutor Moves.
  
• History must also include how you met your first pokemon.

• All Starter Pokemon must be chosen from the lists I will provide below. They are all rather basic. If you wish to ask for one not in the lists, PM me or speak to me in the chatbox and i'll consider letting you.
  
• You must live in the region where you can find your starter.
  
• Characters should be 13 or 14.
  
• Characters should not have any previous relation to another character.

Personality: She is very closed to her name she never tells any 1 her name but being refreed as lady because of her ritch heritage. She is very knowladgeable and protective of her self and her friends though she barely has any. She is very well spirited in herself making her a force to not be reckend with.
History: Platinum is a member of the house of Berlitz, a 200-year old and extremely financially powerful family of Sinnoh.. She is always notn know to people cause of her ritch blood to be called Lady.
She was always studing Pokemon types advantages and excetera from a young age. SHe knows everything to poemon and there nautral habitats. After years of her being raedy to go on herr adventure she was forced by her father to go to Epochiore Academy instead of her Journey but she was allowed to take one of her 6 pokemon she got from her father with her bringing a Pikachu

@kirby; Your character's name needs to be called by a teacher in the thread before you can do your test. There aren't any open spaces now cause i'm only doing three at a time but i'll PM you when one of the current people finish theirs.

@Swampurt; Your character seems like they're already set for life in the pokemon world. They wouldn't need to go to Epochire because they already know pretty much everything about pokemon.
Also, Epochire chooses the students, not the other way around. She can't be forced by her father because she would get the invitation from the school. He can't enroll her there.
Lastly, i'd actually prefer it if people didn't base their character's on canon characters, whether it be manga, game or anime. I just feel like people should be creative and make their own up rather than essentially ripping off someone else's.

I swear this is actually the last thing. The moved Quick Attack and Double Team cannot be learned until after level 12. Please edit your character so it has moved learned before level 12.

@Swampurt+Serene; And, don't forget, if he's from Sinnoh, he can't have a Pikachu. He'd have to be from Kanto for that.

It's just so I can get an accurate count of how many people are interested in this rp so I can figure out whether the number of people in each house will be even or not.

(BTW, can we catch pokemon while at the island? Also, maybe you should put a list of pokemon that can be found in each area. *crosses fingers that Zorua, Ralts, and/or Riolu are on the list*)

Nope. You'll only get a chance to capture a pokemon when the teacher of a subject allows it, or when in your third and fourth years. And then i'll give you a list of the pokemon that are available. Often you'll need to catch a pokemon of a specific type for a type class within your first two years, though sometimes you'll get free reign. There will also be chances for other pokemon in breeding classes because you'll occasionally get eggs to raise.
But yea. Because it's a school it's rather structured and urges you to bond and train with each pokemon slowly rather than catching a bunch of pokemon at once.

Name: Hazel Beaumont
Gender: Female
Age: 13
Appearance: Hazel is very short for her age, and can easily be mistaken for an elementary student. Due to her past health issues, she is noticeably underweight. She has reddish-brown hair that she never allows to grow past her shoulders and has long, neatly cut bangs that can obscure her eyes. Surprisingly, she doesn't seem to have much difficulty seeing even with her irritating hair, but can often end up bumping into things if she's not focused. She has green eyes with some noticeable gray under them due to lack of sleep, though this trait is often not seen due to her bangs. She always wears a fluffy white sweater, this is due to the fact she gets easily cold even in hot climates. Another thing she always brings with her is a Soothe Bell necklace, but she often puts this on Puffchop to prevent him from going out of control.

Personality: Although she can easily be mistaken for a shy girl, Hazel is far from that. She is very exuberant and excitable, making it hard for her to stay in one place without anything to do. She can sometimes be a bit too reckless, and can take things too far or too wrong. If she finds anything she takes interest in, she goes out of her way in order to learn more about it. This thirst for knowledge and mastery can often ignite her competitive spirit, making defeat a harsh blow on her.

But don't take her cheerful spirit for granted. She may seem like an airhead at times, but she can be spiteful and sarcastic when it's appropriate. Mischief is also something she does in her past time, and finds pranks to be very entertaining. While she is prone to being easily offended, it's not hard for her to forgive people. But if their offense was bullying, or teasing her because of how she looks and how she can't speak, it may take more than a simple 'sorry' for her to let go of her grudge.

One fatal flaw to her zealous personality is her crippling fear of speaking. She hates using her voice when in the presence of other people, preferring to signing or writing her words than speaking them. She can only bring herself to whisper, even to her own pokemon. She despises her voice, as she finds it irritating and squeaky. Due to this, most people often mistake her for a mute.

History: Hazel was born into a humble family in Azalea Town, with only her mother and father to support her. Her childhood was fairly lonely, as she was frequently ill and could not interact with the other children. And so, she spent several years of her youth cooped up in her little home, waiting for her parents to come back from their jobs in order to spend some time with her. At the age of 7, however, she began visiting the nearby forest.

The day came when a storm took the town by surprise. Everyone had locked themselves in their homes, waiting for the impending downpour. Hazel, however, was still in Ilex Forest, oblivious to the oncoming storm. It was far too late when she realized it. She remained out of the rain by hiding under the Ilex Forest Shrine, scared and cold as she waited for the drops to cease.

The storm was fierce, darkening the skies with its gray clouds and harsh rain. Only the quick strike of lightning could provide enough light for Hazel to see. Amidst the darkness, she heard something. Footsteps. Someone was heading towards the shrine. Hoping with all her might that she would not get hurt, she curled under the small structure of wood as best as she could to prevent from being seen. Closing her eyes and crying, she fell asleep.

Upon awakening, she crawled out from under the shrine. To her surprise, there was an egg. A small pokemon egg had been left in front of the shrine, without any sign of its parents nearby. Did the thing that came leave the egg? She wasn't too sure. But what she did know was that she couldn't just leave the poor thing here. She picked up the egg and decided she would raise the pokemon herself. She came home soaked, muddy, and sick, but with the largest grin her parents had ever seen.

The egg hatched to a Mareep, and it took Hazel months in order to train it to stop crying and being so rowdy. For such a small pokemon, the sheep was filled with vigor. The girl could see so much potential in the little pokemon, and so decided to take it upon herself to turn him into the toughest Ampharos in the entire region. She poured her nights reading all about pokemon and heading out to the forest to train, nurturing her knowledge and strengthening her bond with her partner.

Once she and her Mareep reached a considerable level of strength, the town's Gym Leader, Bugsy, had decided to send her off to Violet City to test their skill on Falkner. And to their utter surprise, they won on their first try. Hazel made her parents proud that day, and finally proved that she could do something right. It didn't take long for Epochire Academy's letter to arrive, and she immediately began packing her bags.

-Hazel always, always, always carries a sketchbook or paper with her. It's very rare that she doesn't have one hidden somewhere.
-Hazel can draw and write very well, having spent most of her childhood sitting in a bed without anything but some paper and pencils. She can write very fast, which is essential as she refuses to speak.
-Although during the years she has built a more stable immune system, Hazel can still tire quicker than an average person and has a tendency to get chills even in hot weather. This makes overexerting activities such as sports not a good option for her.
-Puffchop is lighter than most Mareeps and has some slightly abnormally sharp teeth. Though these teeth are not sharp enough to do some real damage, they do tend to puncture if he decides to nibble on something.
