- Bide (lv. 1) - Leander will stand his ground, taking hits and building up energy. Then, he will light up, striking back with a white beam that is twice as powerful as the combined power of the moves that hit him while he was biding.
- Harden (lv. 3) - Leander will harden his shell, making physical attacks damage him less.
- Grassy Terrain (egg move) - A lush, glowing field of grass and flowers will spring up in the vicinity of where Leander activated the move. Those within range of the move will have their energy restored by 1 point each time they post. Grass-type moves are boosted, and the power of Earthquake, Magnitude and Bulldoze is halved. Grassy Terrain wears off at the end of a page. Its effects are limited to pokémon on the ground.

- Moisture draining: By attaching their “stem” to a tree, Seedot can leech off moisture from it. The more they drink, the glossier their bodies become. If they drink too much, they may become too heavy and fall down. Strong winds can also loosen their grip
- Acorn mimicry: When hanging still from trees, Seedot look just like real acorns. They enjoy scaring unsuspecting pokémon by suddenly moving
- Leaf polishing: Seedot can polish their bodies using leaves

A somewhat stern policewoman who adopted Leander after Audrey and Kian were arrested. They are close, her being the only pokémon he would properly socialize with for a big part of his childhood. She is also responsible for making him interested in both cooking and being a respectable citizen. He still visits her in Grassveil sometimes.

A battle-loving Fennekin Leander met while foraging on Pricklemist Hill on a particularly foggy day. He thinks she's very cute, and a good fighter. Unfortunately, that adoration caused him to tell her a whole bunch of lies about himself to impress her. Whoops.

Rex the Onix: Marked for revenge

The terribly violent and malicious Onix Leander met one day when he was out training in Pecha Forest. Due to his cruel nature, his taunts and trickery and the harm he inflicted upon him during the attack on Pecha Forest, the Seedot has a strong desire to enact an unusually violent revenge upon him. The fact that the Onix even made him want to get violent in the first place worries him a little, though.

Desiree the Mareep: Passerby hero

The wanderer who stood up to Rex in Pecha Forest when nobody else dared to. Leander thinks she's very cool and heroic, and finds her selflessness touching. The fact that she seems just as eager to beat the snot out of Rex as him also wins her some points in the likability department. Her violent side doesn't bother him, seeing as it has only harmed someone he dislikes so far.

Alki the Jigglypuff: Low-key idolized

A Jigglypuff! He's finally met a real, honest to goodness Jigglypuff! As much as Leander would have loved to start a fanclub or something dedicated to her right off the bat, he's aware that he has just befriended Alki, and tries his best not to be overwhelming with his admiration for her. For now, he just tries his best to be a good friend, while occasionally testing the waters for some fanboying. He's also very thankful that she invited him to join the Phantom Thieves, and curious and a little concerned about why she seems to be feeling down all the time.

Trees Fall, Everyone Suffers Grievous Injuries - 3 pages - Synopsis:

Rex decides to wreck some trees in Pecha Forest, but is confronted by Desiree, a brave wanderer. Leander decides to support her in the fight, but has to get creative, since he can't fight. They eventually end up immobilizing Rex with the aid of some of the forest's locals and the webs of a spinarak, but due to his thirst for revenge against their enemy, Leander messes up and is tricked into throwing a blast seed at the captive, burning off the webs in the process. Having been freed, Rex escapes by digging a tunnel into the ground. Desiree and Leander, both still angry at Rex and eager to defeat him once and for all, tail him through the dark, dangerous tunnel.

On his way home from visiting Eleanore, Leander runs into Alki, who seems to be feeling down. He decides to talk to her and see if he can help her somehow, but things don't go quite as he plans. Soon, he finds himself compulsively stealing her discarded bag, try as he might to stop. And to make matters worse, she catches him doing it. Surprisingly, instead her reporting him to the police, they talk some more, and figure out that they're both thieves. Alki invites him to join the Phantom Thieves, a band of unusually well-meaning thieves, and he happily accepts. They agree to meet in Rainfront later when Alki has discussed it with Synd'r.

Leander goes foraging on Pricklemist Hill, but is surprised by a sudden, thick fog shrouding the dungeon. It doesn't take long before he's lost and afraid. Eventually, after some paranoia and misunderstandings, he has a run-in with "The Creature of Pricklemist Hill", which he believes is a monstrous beast that will kill him, since the fog prevents him from properly seeing what it is. His "Creature", however, turns out to be Pepper, a Fennekin who's covered in mud and just as lost as he is. After clearing up the confusion, they team up to find food and fight off ferals while they try to find the way out. In an attempt to impress Pepper, Leander lies about his Bide-attack being Solar Beam, and pretends to be much more powerful than he really is. A later incident where a Haunter secretly interferes with a fight makes it look like the Seedot also has some kind of weird, scary power. Even Leander gets confused about that one, and begins to wonder if there really is something special about him, unaware that it was all the trick of a ghost.

- Doing It Backasswards: Girafarig’s tail has a small brain of its own, which is too small for thinking. The tail does not need to sleep and can keep watch 24/7. It moves on its own and might react to scents and sounds by biting. Since the tail can attack, Girafarig can fight even when facing backwards. It can use some sort of mysterious power to drive enemies away (I imagine this to be the tail giving off unpleasant psychic waves that do not truly harm its targets but might make them want to keep their distance.)
- Inner Focus: Damien has an unusually strong focus and won't flinch when hit by moves that would normally cause that effect.

While Damien shares many good memories with his brother and had little friends outside of him and the housekeepers, he feels betrayed by him. Vance seemed to know of the new heir arrangement prior to Damien's meeting with Ingram, yet all he did was apologize, not help him refuse the change. Damien is angered he did not stand up against Ingram with him, but can't bring forth the same loathing against him as he could against the Swoobat.
