Darkness. Huge black clouds covered the sky, a sign of the terrible events that were happening around the world. Lumina tiptoed on light feet as she approached the Vale. She had heard Regigigas had shown them-self in this dungeon. It was Zygarde's recruit and Lumina couldn't help but just want the world to go back to the way it was, before all this darkness and madness of pokemon. And so, here she was, about to enter the Everspring Vale in search of a fight against a Legendary monster. She must absolutely adore getting mashed into a pulp. Because that was what was about to happen; probably.

"The outskirts appear unaffected at first glance. Let's see..."

Also approaching the dungeon was a Girafarig, sporting gold-rimmed glasses, an immaculately tied cravat and a face looking way more focused and relaxed than what you'd expect from someone about to do what he was planning to. This dungeon, Everspring Vale, apparently housed a legendary pokémon at the moment. This had to be one of Damien's best shots so far at testing one of his theories on the creation of dungeons, that theory being that legendaries are involved somehow. Dungeons could change their layout and seemingly generate items out of nothing, so there likely was some powerful force behind them. One of the biggest power sources he could think of would be the legendaries, so if he had a chance to observe one of them and their presence's potential effect on a dungeon he'd be a fool not to take it, in his opinion. The discovery of a connection like that would do wonders for both his research's progress and his fame.

Further down the path, past two large pines, he could see another pokémon. He quickly identified the stranger as a Ninetales, as he had been to the Vale before and had seen them living in the dungeon. He figured this one was a native, but it was odd to find her outside of the dungeon, even if only by a small distance. Perhaps the dungeon was expanding because of the legendary, or the locals had begun to flee. Either way, she would likely have some info for him.

"You there! Ninetales! I wish to speak to you!" he called out as he galloped over to her.

Lumina was lost in thought as the Ninetales walked along the edge of the dungeon, looking for the entrance. How strong was Regigigas? Probably a lot stronger than her. She'd have to rely on good battle tactics to defeat it. It was a normal type, she knew that much. It's great power probably relied on physical attack moves instead of special, unlike her.

When someone called out for a Ninetales, at first Lumina didn't notice, but then, as the girafarig approached her, she snapped out of her reverie. She turned to the girafarig, noting the scarf and glasses with a bit of bemusement.

"Yes, hello? How can I help you?" she asked.

Damien slowed down to a trot as he got close, stopping right near her. He made sure to straighten up his posture as he stopped, chest out and neck with only the slightest bend. Professional interviewing required a professional approach and appearance, after all! Especially when his client had been so pleasant as not to attack him before the interview. Those cases called for the utmost grace.

"Yes, I was wanting to ask you about this dungeon here, Everspring Vale. Have you perchance noticed any recent changes within? Perhaps that is why you are out here and not further inside? Oh, and please do include as much detail as you can. Nothing is too irrevelant!"

After he had asked, a slim notebook slid out of the white silk bag he carried and proceeded to float up beside him, shortly followed by a feathered ink pen. "I am in need of this data for my research, you see." Despite all efforts to look proper, one could glean hidden excitement from the Girafarig's slight smile and the twinkle in his eyes. It was not mere business to him, but also a passionate mission he looked forward to, despite the risks of coming to the Vale at this time.
