Stronger then all.

The sun was clear in the sky as it shines down on the small pond. There are multiple pokemon sitting there under the shade or near the pond or inside the water. Among those near the lake a golden pokemon could be seen with her head low eye's showing slight pain that only a poke who could sense Aura or emotion could tell that she was upset about something.

She let's out a small sigh as she sits there then looks up. "Ok who's going to bother me now" she asked herself considering every time she had come here she ended up running into another explorer or ended up fighting. Whichever she'd be ready for it.

Fang was breathing slightly hard as she walked over. She decided by.his wording that he was.done with the fight. "I was trained as a kid to be the best in tactics strength and keeping calm during a battle. Even landing once hit on me is a grand feet none on my clan could do" she said very impressed with the pokemon. "The way you fought was very impressive I liked how you held your ground when I hit you" she added actually impressed.

Jet looked up at Fang as she approached him. He pushed himself back up to his full height at last, not as bad off as he thought he might have been. Had that fight been a real one, he would not let the fight end there. However, it was nothing more than a training, sparring match between the two and he didn't want to get himself too beat up if there wasn't really anything on the line.

"W-wow, you think so?" Jet asked, blushing slightly in embarrassment at the compliment. "Th-thanks. B-but I don't think I did all that well. I-I mean...if we had been in a real fight, you probably would have beaten me twice as hard." He let out a small sigh. "I still need to get a LOT stronger if I want to help my teammates back at the Guild."

Fang nods "you are quite stirring indeed you are the first here to actually land a blow on me, Not counting Psychological blows" she added considering a gastly had made her faint by saying he loved her. That didn't count in her book but her mind did snap for a bit.

"Well then I hope you Succeed" she said as she looked around and all the pokemon were still there. "If it was a real fight I wouldn't let you get back up" she said as she remained in palce

Jet couldn't help but smile slightly at Fang's reassurance. "R-really...?" he asked. He had to admit that he felt a bit of appreciation for his own abilities if he was actually the first person to land a successful, direct hit against her. "W-well...how many opponents have you battled so far? I-I mean...I suppose it's not really a very impressive feat i-if I'm the only opponent you've fought so far."

However, his blush deepened slightly as she mentioned not being willing to let him get back up again in a real fight. "O-oh, yeah, I suppose not," he said. He had long-since come to terms with the fact that what was seen as honorable was not smart in real battle. He had paid for that several times in the past as it was. "...I-in that case, I...I was wondering if we could battle again sometime...? A-and...and maybe next time, we could do it like it were a real fight? I-I mean...I could...really use some real battle experience if I want to be as strong as a Pokémon like you..."

Fang looks up at the sky. "A snivy a charmander and a gastly. Plus a bunch of feral pokemon all who missed or didn't even get close" Fang then nods at the statement to fight again "I'd enjoy that out of all who I've met so far you seem to be the most formidable and the only one I can stand" she said referring to how annoyed she gets from other pokemon but he seemed calmer then the others and the fight made her respect him more then the other pokemon

Jet had to admit, his curiosity was piqued as Fang claimed that she had actually fought with another Charmander. That would have certainly been a match to see. For a moment, he toyed with the idea of that Charmander being the one and the same that he had battled before. The hot-headed lizard would have thrown a fit if he had been soundly defeated without even landing a single punch. "E-eheh...th-thanks." he replied, rubbing the back of his head. "I...don't know about the formidable part, b-but I try to keep people satisfied. And if I can't, th-then I usually leave them alone. H-had you refused to fight me, I-I probably would have done the same."

He smiled slightly, glad that he had found the nerve the actually walk up and talk to this Charmander. It had been very beneficial. He may have even just started on the path of having another strong ally. "Oh...!" he said, suddenly realizing something. "I-I'm sorry, but I don't think I ever caught your name..." He then hesitantly held one of his paws out, offering to shake with her. "M-my name's Jet. I'm a member of the Guild and I'm hoping to grow as an adventurer."

"I see, well the I would of missed out" Fang said trying to be nice something she wasn't known for. It was fine he didn't know her name they didn't have time to actually talk before Fang started fighting. "My name is Obera Yun Fang, but Fang will serve you better then.my whole name" she said wondering why no pokemon she had.met had a long name like her. It made.her slightly mad at this fact but she decided not to pursue it not wanting to dump her frustration on others with the exception of Rally because that riolu seemed to look up to her

Jet nodded to Fang, although he was slightly taken aback by her rather lengthy name. He was glad that she didn't want him to address her by such a long title. He doubted that he would ever remember all of it, no matter how much he tried. He withdrew his paw and nodded again. "W-well, I suppose it's nice to meet you, Fang. A-and I was glad that you accepted my battle." He then paused for a moment, wondering if it was really his place to ask her to go anywhere with him after he had probably interrupted her. But, hey, what could it hurt to ask?

"U-um...b-by the way, are you...erm...busy in any way?" he asked. "B-because I was just wondering...y-you know, since we mentioned a REAL fight and real experience...if you wouldn't mind helping me out in an exploration? I...I was thinking of heading out into a dungeon for training and gathering some supplies. But I didn't think I could really go into the deeper parts of the forest by myself a-and...w-well, I figured...m-maybe, since you're so strong, you could come with me and give me any help if I really need it...?"

Fang nods. "The pleasure is min Jet" she said as she nodded slightly. She did wonder why she was being so nice to this Pokemon but then she remembers this Pokemon was a water type. So she must not just enjoy looking at water she must enjoy water type Pokemon also. She then shrugs this thought away as he asks her something. " yes if you wish I shall accompany you" Fang said as she looked down to the ground then up again with a small smile on her face.

Jet was almost taken aback by how friendly the Charmander's demeanor was. For somebody with such a cold stare and tone, she sure seemed hospitable enough. Perhaps his first impression of her was completely false? If nothing else, this would be a prime opportunity to see if there was anything more to this rare coloration phenomenon than simply physical appearance. As far as he could tell right now, that's all there was to it. She seemed ordinary enough otherwise.

"Th-thank you very much. Y-your time is appreciated." Jet answered Fang with a nervous smile. "I...I've been into the Pecha Woods a few times, but that's as far as my explorations have taken me. I was thinking that...I'd like to go a step further out and go to where maps have called the 'Shadowhue Forest.' I heard about a place called the Monochrome Falls and I...I would like to see if I can make it there. A-and I'd feel better about it if somebody as capable as you would keep an eye on me."

Fang nods. "Thank you for your time it has been most fun" to most this seemed to sound like the end of a date it Fang knowing nothing about love would not notice it what so ever even some of the things she said would be taken the wrong way but she didn't notice. "Very well then I'd enjoy your company for as long as you'd have me" she said as she gave a small nod. "I am ready to go" she said as she had a Pokemon bring her bag while she was talking to him

Jet couldn't help but blush as Fang continued to talk. He had almost never even dared to consider the possibility, but there was no alternative in his mind just yet. The way this Charmander spoke, it almost seemed as if she truly cared about him. The way she spoke, the words she used.... If he didn't know any better, he'd have thought that the two of them had just come out of a date. She DID just get through saying that she thought he was pretty impressive and was the only one that impressed her. And he wasn't even sure how to respond. But perhaps it would be for the best, at least for now, not to say a word in response or question it. After all, he didn't want to say something to mess something up with his new acquaintance.

"Y-yeah...r-right..." he said nervously, his blush never once leaving his face. "Then...l-let's get moving, huh?" He paused for a moment, though. "B-but...I-if you don't mind my asking...wh-why were you here at the pond today? I-I was here looking for training partners, b-but..." he trailed off there and said nothing more. He deemed it better to simply stop talking before he began to ramble again.

When he asks that Fang looks at the small pond and let's a smile creep across her face. "I don't know but something about water and water type Pokemon" she said as she sighed and breathed in deeply "makes me happy for some reason" she said as she turned to jet her cold eye's seem to of vanished as for once she showed happiness. "You know?" She says the cold for one left her.

Jet watched Fang as she spoke, gauging her carefully, as though trying to get some kind of read on her true thoughts. Was she speaking completely freely or was she simply trying to mislead him? For some reason, he clung to various levels of suspicion. But upon seeing the expression she soon showed him, his mind was set at ease. Gone were the same cold eyes that glared at him before his match. In their place, a look of what appeared to be completely genuine happiness was now resting. The look put him at ease and he smiled a bit himself, blushing slightly deeper. "U-uh...w-well, I guess I can understand..." he murmured uncertainly. "H-heh...I-I mean, I spent a good portion of my life t-trying to avoid certain Water Pokémon..."

Fang then turns her head abruptly her cold eye's and tone returning to her as she looks away. "Well then let's go" she said as she felt like a idiot. "Sorry about that" she said as she waited for him to respond. She had no idea what had just happened there but she didn't like it. She was cold didn't care about anything or anyone but for some reason she felt better around places and Pokemon like him. She knew it was just because of the water but still she hated it.
