Stronger then all.

The sun was clear in the sky as it shines down on the small pond. There are multiple pokemon sitting there under the shade or near the pond or inside the water. Among those near the lake a golden pokemon could be seen with her head low eye's showing slight pain that only a poke who could sense Aura or emotion could tell that she was upset about something.

She let's out a small sigh as she sits there then looks up. "Ok who's going to bother me now" she asked herself considering every time she had come here she ended up running into another explorer or ended up fighting. Whichever she'd be ready for it.

Jet shook his head, too slow to mount any kind of counter attack, but he was at least able to get back to his senses before Fang could unleash her next attack. He saw the torrent of flame erupt from the Charmander's throat and he let out a cry of surprise. He had never seen a full-blown Flamethrower attack before! The strongest Fire-type attack he had seen was an Ember attack. This was a drastic difference in power! He quickly scrambled back to his feet and he wondered if, perhaps, he could counter the attack.

Water began to swirl around his tail like a small vortex as he swung it around, attempting to use his Aqua Tail attack to block the Flamethrower and stop its progress. The two attacks were normally even in strength, but Fang was stronger than him. However, Jet hoped that his type advantage with his move would be enough to neutralize the Flamethrower.

Fang let's out a small curse the attack didn't make her do what she wanted but this opened up a new slightly dangerous attack for her. She then stopped the flames then dashed forward masked by the flames while they ended she was right behind them as they seem to explode slightly as she was behind them claws extended and she makes a slashing motion in a attempt to cut the pokemon she was fighting

Jet was relieved to see that his Aqua Tail had successfully blocked the Flamethrower attack. When the flames finally ceased, however, his tail was brought back around, narrowly missing the Charmander behind them. When Jet turned his body back around to face where Fang had been standing before...he saw that she was standing right in front of him. He was caught completely off-guard and could not even hope to get out of the way. The Charmander's slashing claws landed on his body, causing him to let out a grunt of pain, throwing him off-balance and causing him to stumble backward a couple of steps in a desperate attempt to stay on his feet this time.

Fang smirked her attack had landed clean and she now knew one of his attacks she had to give away three.of hers but it was worth it in the end. She quickly backs up with a small leap while he stumbled back. She then waited for him to attack she was ready to counter if he tried to use the same move, she was sure she'd be fine if he pulled out another attack but just in case she lowered her claw as rocks started to lift up but stayed in the ground..unless she pulled up they wouldn't leave so she was starting to set a trap.

Jet finally managed to catch himself and regain his balance. He was glad that Fang had decided not to press on the attack, as he might have been relatively helpless. He shook his head and attempted to forget about that last exchange. It was in the past and he needed to stay focused on the battle at hand. He crouched slightly and took a deep breath. He needed to concentrate here if he was going to stand a chance. Fang was really strong, fast and smart. He would need to really out-think her if he was going to win. And as he quickly came to realize, he was too slow and weak to fight her up close. He would need to keep his distance.

And so, he decided on his next attack easily enough. The Buizel opened his mouth and pointed it upward, shooting a burst of water out and into the air. The water flew up into the sky before gravity took effect and stopped its upward momentum. The water came falling down from the sky and landed on the area around him. But most importantly, it soaked his own body, causing him to utilize his Water Sport move. This would further weaken his opponent's Flamethrower attack, meaning that that attack was very unlikely to be much of a threat to him at this point. He was able to more or less eliminate one of his opponent's moves...now he knew exactly what attack he would need to worry about if Fang attacked from long-range.

Fang looked a bit puzzled as he made himself wet but thought it was just trick as she then hoods up her claw as the rocks she had started.to control rose into the air around him she then clenched her claws as they all go right at him each rock coming from every corner. She would be shocked if he managed.to dodge thing but she then felt a surge of energy. The move worked she got stronger for using it so with a smirk she waits and sees

Jet couldn't help but smile slightly as he saw the puzzled expression on the Charmander's face. She clearly didn't understand what he was doing...and that was fine with him. If she used her Flamethrower attack again, he would show how little damage it would do at that point. But for now, he had to stay focused. She still had her long-range Ancient Power attack that he had to watch out for.

And sure enough, there it was.

Unfortunately for him, however, the rocks that Fang was controlling this time surrounded him completely. He had not expected this. He had been under the impression that she was only capable of moving stones that were near her. This was a complete surprise. He watched the stones start flying at him from every side and he got to work trying to evade the attacks. He was successful for the first two stones, but then one slammed into his stomach, driving some of the wind from his lungs. This led to him getting pummeled by the remainder of the rocks. This then led to him eventually getting slammed in the back hard enough to send him forward, hitting the ground hard on his stomach. "Gagh...!" he cried out as he was thrown down onto the grass.

Fang smirks as she walks over making sure to be quite some distance away from him in case he was just pretending to be down. She'd deliver another blow while he was down but she felt like not being a jerk now. "Do you yield?" She asks wondering if her was done or not. If he was done she'd just stay but if her wanted to continue well who was she to argue

Jet shook his head in an attempt to clear it as Fang stepped up to him. He pushed his paws down to the ground beside his chest and pushed, hoisting himself onto his knees as he climbed back onto his feet once again. "N-no, I'm not giving up that quickly," he said as he made his way back up again. "I-if I want to get stronger, I can't surrender this easily when things get tough...."

Once the Buizel was back on his feet, he took a few steps backward, seeming more than ready to continue. "If y-you want to keep going, th-then I can keep fighting..."

"I'll admit you have determination I like that in a person" she said with a smirk as a growing respect came from her. She still had her cold voice and eye's but she was starting to respect this pokemon. "I'm always ready" she said as she lowered her stance then dashed forward Claws extended she was planning on getting a quick hit though she waited till he was full up.

Thanks to the power boost she was a lot faster and stronger so a clash would probably work in her favor.

Jet couldn't help but allow a small blush to show on his face as Fang complimented him. It was something he didn't get very often, and every time he got one, he felt mildly awkward, like he wasn't even sure if he truly deserved it or not. "Th-thank you," he said timidly. He was so busy, however, in his own awkward reception of a compliment that he was only half-ready to get back into the fight. He saw Fang lower herself, clearly preparing to attack again, and he quickly attempted to backpedal and give himself more room to work.

Unfortunately for the Buizel, however, Fang was faster than she was before and was faster than he expected her to be. He had expected to get a little bit more time to mount his next attack, but he did not have the time. So instead, he decided to alter his strategy at the last minute. Maybe he could get actually manage a solid hit this time!

Fang's claws met their mark and they slashed his body, causing him to let out another cry of pain. This attack was more painful than the last, but he was able to maintain his footing this time. Since Fang was up close anyway, perhaps he could strike her with a super effective hit. His tail began to become engulfed in the same vortex of water as before and he swung the tail like a club around, spinning his body with it to give it more momentum. He attempted to slam the Aqua Tail attack into the side of Fang's torso as hard as he could, hoping to hit her before she could pull away.

Fang smirked as her bit impacts the spot but wasn't prepared for him to counter. Considering last time he stumbled back she expected this to happen again but she was wrong as a water tail impacts her side making her gasp out. It felt like her side was on fire as it impacts her but she managed to hold her ground as she grabs him and opens her mouth attempting to send a large wave of fire at him at close range. Even if her was protected she expected this to do some bad damage

Jet couldn't help himself. He felt his Aqua Tail collide with Fang's body and he heard her pained gasp and an immense sense of satisfaction rolled over him. He couldn't believe that he had actually managed to land a direct hit with his super effective move! However, he let the hit go to his head and he wasn't able to pull himself away very quickly. As a result, he felt her reach out and grab hold of his tail before blasting him with a burst of flame. Thankfully, the Flamethrower was not only weakened due to his Water Sport move that he had used earlier, but it was also not very effective due to his Water typing. In the end, the blast itself was not all that powerful...but Fang had raw power behind her attack, due to her boosted strength from Ancient Power and her superior base strength. The attack still did some decent damage that he hadn't been expecting.

"Grngh!" he grunted in pain as the flames washed over his body from point-blank range. He was not expecting it to be such a strong hit on top of the fact that he was taken off-guard. The impact caused him to flinch in pain and sink down onto his one of his knees at the Charmander's feet, his tail still firmly gripped in the Charmander's claws.

Fang smirked as she then grabbed hold of his tail with both claws as she then spins once and attempts to throw him away. If she successfully did that she'd then pick up more rocks and throw them at him while he wasn't able to maneuver in the air. She was really in case he had some plan though so all of this rides on what he does either way Fang was sure she could win. She had to admit though she was getting tired

Jet felt another claw get laid upon his tail and he had a sinking suspicion that he knew what was coming next. And sure enough, he felt her start to spin around, dragging his body along for the ride. He was helplessly swung around as if he were merely some kind of rag doll. He was then helplessly thrown through the air, and it wasn't long before he felt a barrage of rocks from another Ancient Power attack strike his body before he could even hit the ground. Soon enough, he was knocked down hard onto the grass on his back once more. This was the third time he had been brought down in this fight before he could even make the Charmander so much as fall to one knee.

"D...darn it...." he growled as he rolled over and started pushing himself back to his feet yet again. "I can't believe I can barely even land a single hit on you..."
