| First topic message reminder :While Sosio and her bug-type companion were exploring Pricklemist, they had accidentally discovered this amazing new place, and all because Sosio fell into a pit trap. The discovery of the amazing Perfect Apples brought them back to town to share the news, but when they described the dungeon, everyone looked confused. That's when they found out it was an undiscovered dungeon, and not only that, but there was TREASURE within. The two odd friends now returned in search of a new adventure and discoveries. Sosio was filled with pure enthusiasm. Not only was she the one who discovered it, but it was the ideal setting for a bird like herself to love. She might even consider making it her home, but for now, they had to focus on finding clues and battling their fights, and who knows what could lie ahead. - Sosio's Energy Level:

| Sosio twitched, her head darting about at different angles, her feet twitching sometimes.
"Yep. That way."
Sosio darted off to the other side of the ditch, almost tripping along the way. Once she arrived at the other side, she turned around, stood on her toes, and turned to the Gengar. Although one might expect her to be looking at her acquaintance, as if waiting, it appeared she was looking over his head, back at the spot with wide eyes, and continued, slower now.

| William decided not to dwell on the matter, instead simply shrugging as he levitated over the ditch, the stuck Bug types shooting him icy glares as he floated by. "Well, let's continue then, shall we?", he asked rhethorically. There wasn't much else to do in this place other than walking around after all. Well, one could try climbing into the treetops, but William couldn't imagine what good there was supposed to come of that. Then again there wasn't much good - or any for that matter - coming off of their aimless wandering around either other than doing enough exercise to last for years to come. And then the dreaded thing happened. The sound of a twig snapping reached the Ghost type's ear. "Oh no, not again...", he winced. - Savato carried out 5 launched of one Fallen Leaf Copse :

| Sosio nodded, her beak still clenched from the guilt of uncontrollably taking items in the odd hut. Even if it belonged to a Pokemon, the house was so small, it couldn't possibly be a Pokemon Sosio would fear. Even if it was a bug type, and that house was big for it, the Fletchling finally understood how easy it was to defeat them. One peck and the insect could barely move.
A twig snapped while Sosio was lost in thought, and she looked around to find out what it possibly could be. William didn't seem to happy about it, and yet it seemed like he knew what it was. "What? What happened?" Sosio asked curiously and concerned.

| "I think we might find ourselves forced to face yet another battle. I'm getting quite sick of this to be honest. We seem to have some kind of neon "kick me" sign on our backs." Indeed the encounter rate the duo was faced with was abnormally high compared to encounter rates on most other explorations. Maybe the Pokémon in this new area were not yet so used to meeting explorers and had thus not yet learned to avoid them if they valued their wellbeing? Whatever the reason was, the fact remained unchanged, that battle would have to be done. As the undergrowth was pushed aside, two Teddiursa and a Phantump revealed themselves. While the Ghost type might end up being slightly problematic, William had faith that the two Normal types would not be able to deal any considerable damage.

| The Gengar's words induced a sigh from Sosio's own beak. It was most certainly true, but the two had to keep in mind one thing; not to sound very violent, but since this dungeon was just discovered for explorers, so there was nobody before then to keep the population down. In the strange ecosystem of the Pokemon world, attacking and fainting the wild Pokemon was a way to decrease the rate they were able to breed, and therefore less Pokemon. If there were too many wild Pokemon, all the resources would be used up, and the Pokemon would die out anyway.
It was just something the two of them had to prepare for, so when the Phantump and his Teddiursa minions showed up, Sosio furiously pecked the seeming leader of the group, weakening it enough to possibly scare off his partners.

| William could only roll his eyes - he would much rather have preferred to simply ignore the Pokémon at first. Maybe their intentions weren't hostile after all. And even if they were to attack, he would likely have tried to flee to conserve his energy instead. But now that the Fletchling had initiated battle already there wasn't much he could do about it other than help get it over with as quickly as possible. Thus he focussed just as he had done so so many times before already, launching a Focus Blast at one of the ursine Pokémon, which should be highly susceptible to Fighting type moves due to their Normal type. | |

| Now that the small bear was weakened, Sosio pecked right through the Phantump and continued the attack into the Teddiursa, finishing both off. The last remaining paw-licker stared at both Pokemon, having witnessed both of its friends faint almost instantly. If it didn't look so innocent, Sosio would've attacked it already, but now she wanted to wait to see what William would do.
After all, the Gengar liked to avoid battle as much as possible, so why not just scare the last one off and continue? The wild Pokemon kept the team from moving onward, to the point where it was extremely obnoxious. Sosio found plenty of items, however, so it wasn't like this journey was pointless.

| William however had long since lost his patience and since they were battling already, he didn't even consider the possibility of scaring the remaining Pokémon off this time. Maybe it was tiredness, maybe it was annoyance that let him forget it, but in any case what the Gengar did was the following. The Ghost type disappeared into the ground, reappearing behind the Normal-typed bear and launching yet another Focus Blast at his foe. Did the feral Pokémon around here fight one another just as often as they had attacked the duo? If so, then life here would have to be quite the hard one, a constant struggle so to say. William didn't think he'd like a life like that. | |

| The Gengar's mobility was quite interesting. While most Pokemon were stuck in the second dimension of movement, minus the fact they can probably jump, Sosio and William could both fly, but he could even go through walls and solid objects, including the ground. This allowed him to sneak anywhere he wanted to without notice by non-ghosts, and was a pretty awesome ability to have. The Fletchling doubted a ghost could lose their ability to float, unlike how she lost her ability to fly. Noticing, now, that the other Teddiursa was weak, why not finish it off? A mere Quick Attack, and it was just like its friends. Immobile and unconscious, perhaps not to wake for hours, and after awakening, unable to use moves and maybe not even move. It was unfortunate how the temporary death hit, but fortunately, Sosio never had to experience it before. E=10-(roll) - aMEWzing carried out 1 launched of one Fallen Leaf Copse :

| Just as William was glad to have defeated the final opponent, being able to leave, his hopes were quickly dashed as one colourful foe was headed their way. If it wouldn't just have passed through it, the Gengar would have bashed his head against a tree repeatedly at this point in time. Some things were just tremendously annoying and this journey had long ventured past this point. This was not even annoying, tiring or bothersome anymore. This was just painful drudgery and William didn't hope for many things more than for this to finally end. But yet there was something that kept him from leaving. Whatever it was, William cursed the strange feeling. Not literally - he was not capable of using the move Curse but if he could have done it, then he would most likely have. Since he couldn't, he just sighed. | |

| Upon the sight of the terrifying insect, Sosio ran behind the nearest tree. The long tentacle-like appendage on the front of its face where its mouth should be put images of abilities to suck blood of other Pokemon. Its eyes were far too big for its head, making it look like it could stare right into some'mon and read its thoughts, seeing its insides.
Sometimes Sosio was more jittery around insects than not; there were just times where she felt more afraid, and the fact that this one was so large and possibly powerful. Every time the bird thought she saw the colorful dusty scale-covered pair of wings come near her, she would dart to the next tree, spending her energy like this until she was almost exhausted enough to collapse.

| William was once more rolling his eyes at what was transpiring. By now he had rolled his eyes so many times that even they were starting to hurt. "Uh, what are you doing there? I don't think there's anything of interest behind those trees, Sosio...", William half spoke, half mumbled. He didn't even have the motivation for trying to speak audibly anymore. All of this was just so pointless and annoying. What was it he was even staying here for? There was nothing here but trees and leaves. So many leaves. Why couldn't they find something useful? An interesting thought sprung up in the Gengar's mind. What if all those Pokémon here were explorers driven insane by the area? | |

| Sosio produced a birdly hiss from her beak directed towards the flying insect. Until it went away, she didn't want to come back into sight. Although it seemed bizarre for a bird to be afraid of insects, there was a rather good reason to be so.
When Sosio was just a little hatchling, mobs of insects along her travels would attack her, big and strong ones that would maul her until she could barely walk. The bug-types' reasoning was probably only because birds like her ate such bugs, but Sosio immediately became vegan and never wanted anything to do with such Pokemon again. It developed into a worse and worse fear, and even though she knows Peck now, she can't stand the type of Pokemon.

| Noticing that the Flying type didn't seem to be in the mood to respond for whatever reason, William decided to play the waiting game. Disappearing into the ground, he hoped for the Bug type to simply flutter away. If this wouldn't work, then doing battle was still an option. And whether it worked or not, the Ghost type could at least get a little bit of rest and look at something other than the bright oranges, reds and yellows of the forest for once. If this excursion continued like this, then they might even have to stay here for the night. Now William could easily just sleep underground, seeing as how they hadn't encountered any burrowing Pokémon yet. Finding a place for the Fletchling would be considerably more difficult. And of course the others back at the guild would be worried... | |

| Sosio continuously glanced at the butterfly until she noticed it fly past the small crater and flew up over the trees that blocked the acquaintances' possible path. If Sosio could only fly too, who knows what could've been that way...
Now with the Beautifly gone, the Fletchling emerged from her hiding spot and looked around the clearing. William appeared to be gone, and the ground and trees were darkened as nightfall came. Nothing was worse than nighttime in a forest surrounded by insects. Especially now that Sosio seemed to be alone.
