The Discovery of a Genius(Flashback)

Night fell on the town of grassveil it was a peaceful night, not even a rattata made a noise. But in the midst of the silence a single noise burst threw the silence like a siren the wailing of a barely month old baby riolu.
"shhhhhhhh" Came from the Lucario holding the baby in his arms. His eyes were completely lifeless as he placed it down and took off his cloak wrapping the baby in it he placed him down in a large clump of brush. The child continued to wail as the father stumbled away he moved like he didn't know how to walk, or like he couldn't feel the ground below him.

A Murkrow fluttered past, her feathers rustling in the dead of the night. She heard the cry of a young Pokemon and went to investigate. Gently landing next to where the cries originated, she gently pushed aside the brush with her beak. She blinked unsure of what to do with such a young child. She herself was no more than a few weeks old, having learned to fly not long ago.
The Murkrow chose to take the baby Riolu to the safest place she knew; Grassveil's Guild.

The cries ended soon as the baby fell asleep sucking on it's own thumb. Such an act would embarrassed the infant today, like it would any that had grown. The baby's breathing was soft and peaceful, unknowingly he was starting his normal habit of constantly sleeping.

The Pokemon on guard that night, a Starly, let the Murkrow in, sending her down the steps and towards the Guildmaster's sleeping chambers. She knocked at the door, a sleeping Meganium opening it.
She smiled warmly, despite the hour.
"Hello, what can I do for you?" she asked. Faye knew that no one would bother her at this hour unless it was important.

The Murkrow gently nudged the bundle towards the Meganium and the Starly peered at it, wondering what it was.

The mischievous young pokemon reached up grasping the Starley's beak with his toddler hands and pulling on it. Letting out child squeak of sheer joy as he did so.

The Starly couldn't help but chuckle slightly as the baby Riolu grabbed his beak. He looked up at the Guildmaster.
"What should we do?" he asked. There were no orphanages or other such places around Grassveil for them to be able to send the child to.

"I guess... we keep him," replied Faye. "It shouldn't be too hard to raise him. We could find him a bed in the infirmary tomorrow morning."

Baby Shaman squealed with delight as though he understood the importance of what was going on and how it would shape the rest of his future. Never the less the young child had his innocence for now something he would lose in the the line of work he was going to get into it. After he finally calmed down with his squeals the baby calmly and peacefully went to sleep.
