| First topic message reminder :While Sosio and her bug-type companion were exploring Pricklemist, they had accidentally discovered this amazing new place, and all because Sosio fell into a pit trap. The discovery of the amazing Perfect Apples brought them back to town to share the news, but when they described the dungeon, everyone looked confused. That's when they found out it was an undiscovered dungeon, and not only that, but there was TREASURE within. The two odd friends now returned in search of a new adventure and discoveries. Sosio was filled with pure enthusiasm. Not only was she the one who discovered it, but it was the ideal setting for a bird like herself to love. She might even consider making it her home, but for now, they had to focus on finding clues and battling their fights, and who knows what could lie ahead. - Sosio's Energy Level:

| For most of the night, a Phantump watched from behind the trees. It could sense the hiding Ghost type, so it tried to remain hidden until the morning when it could attack. It would be too dangerous to do so now, and would rather wait until the Pokemon waited it out until the morning and was even more tired, making it a slightly easier target.
When dawn awoke the reddish-orange bird, she poked her head out of the tree hole, singing a morning song by habit. Usually she would fly after doing so, but not even an Oran Berry could heal that long-term injury. She hopped down and slid off the roots, looking to see where her Gengar friend had stayed the night. Before she could call his name, she was smacked by a grass-type attack, and dragged onto the ground. With surprise, she pecked the vines off of her and noticed the Phantump. Thank goodness for her good night's rest, 'cause now she could fight it off with ease.

| Using Peck hopefully to fend off the Phantump, Sosio looked around desperately for William. Where the heck was he? The Fletchling couldn't possibly battle and look for him at the same time, so she finished the ghost off with a Peck and looked around some more. After the Phantump perished, it seemed to drop an item--a leaf. It was probably the only green leaf in the Forest, because most of them were orange, red, or brown. She also spotted a Lum Berry hiding in the roots of the tree she slept in. She hadn't noticed it last night because it was too dark. After she picked it up, she had a good look at the tree, and probably screamed. Two red eyes were on it. | Was William seeing things twicefold now? There seemed to be a second Phantump even in front of his very eyes. It may not have been Monday, but to William this day certainly felt like it. Then however the Ghost type was able to confirm that he was most likely not hallucinating the second Phantump, by seeing yet another Pokémon show up besides it. A Dustox. Just great. This was going to be fun. At least one positive thing was hidden in all of this trouble. All this frustration, annoyance, tiredness and torment gave William more than enough dark energy to launch a rather powerful Shadowball at the second Phantump. Then again...was that really such a good thing to feel so bad that your attacks got stronger?

| Now, two more Pokemon came to battle. Seeing a Shadowball being shot from the red eyes at the tree, Sosio finally figured out it was William. Feeling better about that now, Sosio pecked right through the next Phantump, finishing it off, and into the strong Dustox, which used a windy attack to counter. The Fletchling was blown back as soon as she landed the Peck, hitting the tree. She rubbed her head with her right wing, looking at the Pokemon angrily. Sure, it was defending itself, but... Ugh, Pokemon battles.

| William would have liked seeing how the feral Pokémon would deal with doing battle in a condition such as the one the Ghost type was in right now. But since that wasn't an option he would have to resort to simply beating the tar out of them. It was not a fun thing to do but it needed to be done to finally free the duo from yet another group of Pokémon. How did the Dustox and the Phantump even meet up in the first place? They weren't exactly species one would expect to see together, now were they? But whatever the reason, they needed taking out. And thus once more a Shadow Ball was created and launched in the direction of the assailant. | |

| A swift secondary Shadow Ball knocked the Dustox that hit Sosio just before. Now with an easier, injured target, Sosio flailed at it to deal some damage. Yet somehow, it still survived the three attacks, the first of which was super-effective. Some wild Pokemon must really be bruiting
Who would've thought a bug-type could take so much? Sosio always thought insects were small, weak, and unimportant. But already, a single moth was proving her stereotypical thoughts wrong. Most of them could be taken out with a single Peck, but this one was big, strong, and creepy...

| And still the Bug type seemed to simply refuse to give up. Then again that was not too surprising. It was a fully evolved Pokémon after all and thus obviously stronger than most other Pokémon in the area. That didn't make it any less annoying to face however. Why couldn't their foes just learn their lesson that they stood little to no chance against two seasoned explorers? Or one at least. The Ghost type noticed that he still didn't even know what the Fletchling did for a living. Then again in his current state he didn't really care about information of that sort anyway. Right now he just wanted to get away from here as quickly as possible. | |

| The moth truly was relentless in its attacks, which made it all the more important to finish it off. Seeing that William was doing nothing about it anymore, Sosio decided to do so with a Tackle. Now with all the wild Pokemon out of their way, the Fletchling looked to the Gengar, silently inquiring if they should move on. He seemed overly exhausted, and in really bad condition. She began to wonder if moving on would really be the best thing... Perhaps she could stand guard while he slept this time.

| "Come on, we need to get going.", William spoke, more muttering than actually speaking. He wasn't even thinking about spending more time here than absolutely neccessary. And sleeping here would cost quite a bit of time, making him stay here even longer and worrying his partners at the guild further. They would simply have to hurry up and get out of here as quickly as they could. But even if they wouldn't encounter any further Pokémon getting out of here would take quite a while. And even then they would have to get back to Grassveil Town again. Was there something William had done wrong in some past life to anger one or more deities? | |

| Sosio didn't have to say anything to agree with William. It was long past the time where they needed to leave. Perhaps her idea to stay longer was a bad one, considering they were barely noticed that night, and three Pokemon were already attacking them in the morning. If they got out of there quick enough, they wouldn't have to deal with such a thing again.
It seemed that they had made their way closer to the entrance now, as Sosio recognized where they were, and linked it to the memory made sometime close to when the entrance was. It seemed if they kept walking down the path the tree's hole was facing, and turned left if there was a splitting path, they could weave their way as straight as possible right out from where they came. So much for discovering new things.

| Finally the duo was heading back out of the dungeon. But from how William could see things it would still take a lot of time until finally they would be able to get out of here. And on the way to the edge of this accumulation of trees there would likely be even more Pokémon waiting. Oh how much fun it would be to once again jump into the fray and again beat up even more Phantump and Silcoon and Cascoon and Teddiursa and all the other Pokémon that were living in here. Obviously that last statement was meant to be taken sarcastically. Just how many Pokémon were living in here anyway? Wouldn't so many creatures have trouble competing for the limited ressources? Maybe that was why there were so few treasures in here?
(To make sure - we're still going to stay until we have that leaf, correct?) | |

| Sosio looked at the Gengar. She had a sudden want to give up trying. Why couldn't they stay there? Why has the Fletchling grown so curmudgeon-y during the trip? Maybe the time it was taking was getting to her, and she should try to be her kind silly self again. When she first explored beyond Grassveil, everything was fun to her, but now she was growing to be not herself...
"Hey, what do you think is beyond this dungeon, anyway? Maybe another new dungeon? After all, no one has been in this area before." It would be fun to go somewhere else for a change. Who knows, maybe if the two of them had kept going, the lake this island was in would hold another secret?

| "Beyond this dungeon?", the Gengar repeated out loud. "Uh, hate to break it to you, but we are on an island right now. I don't think there is much beyond this other than a lot of water." How did the Fletchling think of a question like this all of a sudden? Maybe the tiredness was getting to her. But then again William couldn't really complain. After all he too had found a variety of things to think about that were wholly unrelated to the ongoing exploration as well. The copious amounts of boredom simply made the mind wander it seemed. And if this would go on for much longer, then William was sure that the wandering of his mind would result in it getting lost and him going insane. | |

| Sosio shook her head slowly. "Think about it--no one has discovered this dungeon, even in plain sight, and it's a whole new area. Who knows how big this lake is, and maybe even the area beyond it."
Sosio stopped walking and began hopping instead, like most birds do. If she wasn't afraid of attracting attention, she would've been singing. She knew that would annoy the Gengar as well, though, so she refrained herself from bursting into song. Perhaps it was just best to keep quiet over all.
