It was a day, just like any other day. The sun was shining up high in the skies, Flying types were chirping and the various rescue teams set out on their missions. One of those teams consisted out of William the Gastly and Tsukishiro the Absol. The two of them had just reached the entrance to the Serene Cave, the assumed hiding spot of two outlaws. One was a thief, the other was accused of disturbing the peace. William could understand, why they chose this as their domain. The many tunnels and paths inside the Serene Cave had caused him to get lost many times on his journeys, and he might not have been able to leave them again a few times, had it not been for his ability to pass through solid matter. The sunlight, falling onto the rugged rocks around the cave entrance, cast bizarre, pointy shadows on the warm stone below them. A breeze of refreshingly cool air flowed out of the entrance, almost beckoning the duo inside. A variety of scratching noises, combined with the sound of dripping water and the slightly rotten smell of mosses however, that had followed the breeze out of the cave, immediately destroyed the illusion of a place to relax. Yet, they would enter these caves. They would find the outlaws and they would defeat them. William knew it. "Are you ready?" | |

| Kim didn't wait for them to tell her to rest. The moment the Vigoroth was down she was sitting down. "That was rough. I'm not sure if I can continue. Do we and any advantages over the next pokemon?" She asked. She wasn't sure if she could take much more of this. But this cave already gave her a lot of exploring. She didn't want to leave yet. She was panting now. Her stomach growling and her mouth dry. "I know he's not dead. I doubt the guild would allow their members to kill other pokemon like that... I would hate to impose... But do you guys have any food?" She asked. She didn't like to be a burden. (I'm trying!) |

| "The next target is a Loudred," replied Shiro calmly as she slipped the Mystic Water into the treasure bag she carried, "We may not need to battle him, as we're supposed to stop him from being so loud here in the caves, but as you know," the Absol paused, glancing to the unconscious body of the Vigoroth, "not all Pokemon will listen to reason." Returning her gaze to the Axew that accompanied them, Tsukishiro blinked, "However before we move on I think it would be wise to rest for a while. I have a grey gummi if you'd like to eat that," she smiled. Perhaps it would have been wise to pack a few apples. Ah well, mental note for next time I guess... thought Shiro.

| "Since Loudred are Normal type, neither of you should have any specific type advantages or disadvantages against it. For me it's as it was against the Vigoroth. My strongest attack won't be able to damage it, while it will most likely not have many means of attacking me either." As he had forgotten to bring any, William deliberately tried to ignore this subject and hoped to be able to get the others' minds focussed on the upcoming battle instead. "Okay, we don't know, where exactly it is, so we can't make any too significant predictions in regards to our environment and thus fighting conditions. Since the Loudred's sound attacks should be damaging in every direction, I won't be able to distract it, I guess. And its eyes should be too underdeveloped for Hypnosis as well...do you have any ideas?" | |

| "That doesn't seem good... Maybe we could try getting him into a corner? If the environment isn't good for us we could try luring him somewhere else." Kim suggested. She wanted to help somehow. "I'll take anything you guys will give me... Hey... I know I'm a stranger but... Do you think I can join your team? I know I'm not to strong right now. But I can train and try to get stronger. I really think I could be useful here." She said. She knew how useless she was right now but these guys where nice. They where willing to look past her weakness and help her out. Even if they said no she still asked. She didn't expect much.
(If I can be patient I will find plenty of content to post to and can make that 100 word thing.) |

| The Absol shrugged, "I've never encountered a Loudred before so I can't say I know enough about them to formulate a plan in advance, unfortunately," she frowned before digging out the Grey Gummi to give to Kim. As for the Axew's request to join their team, she remained silent. She didn't want to make any rash decisions, especially because the third member of Team Yozora wasn't present, but she also thought it was rather rude to suddenly ask a question like that. After all, Shiro would feel bad for saying no, but she already had a team that worked well together, despite their differences. | |

| Although William had been severely surprised by the request, he somehow managed to hide it behind the cold, expressionless mask he was usually wearing. Shouldn't the Axew be looking for a team of her own power level? And she hadn't even met all of Team Yozora's members yet. With her, the team would be heavily slowed down and forced to take missions of lower difficulty so she wouldn't be in too much danger. All in all William didn't support the idea of the Axew joining at all, but he faced the problem of rejecting her without hurting her feelings too much. He already knew that pain. Noone should have to feel it. Not even Abira or Myra. He had to find a way to tell her. Sadly however, despite trying as hard as he could, he was unable to find the correct words, instead trying to change the subject and hoping she'd forget about it. "We should move on now. There are probably wild Pokémon everywhere and just sitting here like this we're too easy a target. I guess we'll have to choose paths randomly again, don't we?" | |

| Kim ate the gummy. It was okay. It tasted a little bland to her. She looked at William. "You didn't answer my question... I'm not gonna feel hurt if you say no. I know I'm not strong but you guys are nice. I figure the worst you could say is no. Even then I'm sure I will eventually do a mission with you again." She said getting up. She did her best to hide her pain. She would be strong for these guys from here. She looked around. "Perhaps that way?" Kim asked. |

| "Considering there's no clues as to which way Loudred would be, I guess selecting randomly would be the best option. After all I don't want to split up and then not be at full force if we end up battling him," Tsukishiro answered her partner's question before silently selecting a new tunnel to head down. The Absol lead the way, contemplating the Axew's words as she did so. She had said that the worst they could say was no, but that was exactly what Shiro wanted to say, and she really didn't want to hurt the youngster's feelings. | |

| "I do believe selecting paths at random would be our best bet as well", William said, still looking for excuses to reject the Axew. Finally one sprung into his head. "As far as I can remember, all the four-Pokémon rooms in the guild are occupied, so we wouldn't be able to accept another member." She had said, that she wouldn't mind being rejected, but William was sure, that that wasn't true. He himself had experienced it so often. Silently the Gastly followed his partner down the dark corridor, hoping, that the Axew would accept that answer. Now he had to get his mind focussed on the mission again. Where could that Loudred be? | |

| "You could have just said no..." Kim mumbled. She looked around. "Hey if we are looking for a loudred why don't we use our ears. If he is really noisy to the point of wanting an Exploration team to shut him up we might be able to use our ears to find him." Kim said trying to listen deep into the caves. Her efforts didn't go far though. He ears where not the most sensitive in the world. Shiro would probably have an easier time hearing anything. |

| "I thought about doing that earlier," admitted the Absol, continuing forwards even as she spoke in order to traverse the long, winding tunnels quicker, "Only this labyrinth of caves is so big I doubt we'd actually be able to hear him unless we were quite close. So... I guess we should just keep moving, and keep our ears open for any loud noises."Shiro kept her eyes and ears open. The tunnels were beginning to get dark again as they drew further and further away from the skylit cavern. Luckily being a dark type, Shiro was becoming rather accustomed to seeing with little to no light in the area. - This dice is not existing.

| "I doubt the echo here would allow us to correctly identify the source of any sound...I bet that makes it even worse for the Audino. Constantly hearing that loud shouting from every direction is not something I could imagine as pleasant...We should finish this mission as soon as it is possible." Luckily William was a Ghost type as it happened several times, that the conversation distracted him enough to forget that they were in fact moving forward, so he floated into a few walls on their way. Why was the Loudred so...loud? Of course it was in its nature, but what was the thing it liked about being loud that much? In silence, one could think calmly. One coud focus and concentrate. There was nothing good to be found in random shouting. So what kind of reason did it have? | |

| "This is going to be a long walk isn't it?" Kim asked bringing out her Dragon pulse again. It provided enough light to help her see. She felt useless to this team. She probably should have stayed in the forest and not insist she come. She would try to find a way to pay this team back for their efforts in the future. "At the very least we will know hoe close we are to him but how loud the noise is. Even though this cave might echo I'm sure it will get louder the closer with get to him." She said trying to think of ways she could be useful. |

| Tsukishiro continued to walk in silence, pausing only to pick up a TM Rock Tomb that she had accidentally kicked as she walked. The Absol's ears were trained on listening for even the distant signs of the Loudred they were searching for, eyes concentrating on seeing in the darkness. She was startled though as a single loud cry echoed throughout the labyrinth of tunnels. It was certainly very loud, and Shiro had a hunch whom it belonged to. Speeding up the pace, she continued onwards, "I think we've found our target." | |

| "Regarding any mission or adventure, it will always be a long walk. If it would have been a short walk, the local authorities would have handled it themse-" A cry of tremendous volume echoed through the many tunnels. "Holy...can that even become any louder? No, please don't answer the question. We're lucky it hasn't caused a rockslide yet! I can understand the Audino...and for them it must be even louder..." Even though a lot of things had happened in William's past, he couldn't help but feel pity for the tribe of Audino, who had to face this noise day after day. Did the Loudred ven know, what it was doing? | |
