| "Hooray," replied Twayblade, though her voice harbored no enthusiasm for what she was saying, whatsoever. Instead she pulled the Riolu up off of where she was lying on top of the Sneasel and began to carry her as best as she could out of the area. It was slow and Kira was being half dragged due to being slightly bigger in size compared to the Treecko, but Twayblade didn't want to stick around for when these two woke up. | |

| The magikarp struggled behind, failing in the snow to continue forward. He hoped that they would reach this so called stream soon. "So, how far is this stream? Its becoming quite tiring to flip and hurl myself through this snow..."
Kira's sweet dream began to turn dark, she mumbled something about rescue teams before being startled awake by her nightmare. She yelled and struggled against the Treecko's grip and backed away from the pokemon, before coming to realize who they were and simply sighed in relief, "S-Sorry about that.."

| "Quite a way I would think," blinked Twayblade, "Especially after running away from that Lairon earlier. We ended up running in quite the opposite direction of where we needed to go."The Treecko stopped speaking when Kira began to struggle against her grip. Quickly letting go, Twayblade watched as the Riolu woke properly, sighing in relief when she seemed to realise that Twayblade was not a hostile Pokemon. "It's fine," she blinked, turning to continue. She had decided it was best not to pry into Kira's thoughts or history for now, and instead just keep going. Darkness was now beginning to turn into light as the sun rose once more over the eternally icy forest. With the growing light, Twayblade could spot something within the snow up ahead. Upon reaching it, she paused to see what it was. - This dice is not existing.

| "Holy mother of heaven of arceus..." Kira said as she stared at the red round object. It was an apple, her favorite food of all time. She restrained herself though, she would look ridiculous just suddenly charging forward and devouring the apple. "Look, an apple.." she said simply instead. "Apples, disgusting! I prefer-" "You're a fish of course you prefer something else..." Kira huffed, she was annoyed with the magikarp still for ruining their position earlier. | |

| "Eh fine, if you don't like apples Proteus then Kira and I can share it," grinned the Treecko turning and hitting a nearby tree with her Pound attack. With the skill that suggested she'd done it before, Twayblade caught one of the falling icicles that had been knocked from the tree's upper branches by her Pound attack. Sharpening the end she began to stab the apple in various places until it was easy to tear it in half along the line of stab marks. Handing half to Kira, Twayblade then sat down to enjoy her half, tossing the icicle into the snow where it would likely stay until it shattered, or the heat of the sun became too much. | |

| "Thank you!" Kira told the treecko as if the pokemon had given her a million poke. She smiled and bit down on the juicy apple that made her taste buds dance. She enjoyed the taste and quickly found herself eating the last piece and bringing her to despair, the apple was gone....already...She usually had this type of problem when it came to eating apples... Proteus prevented himself from sighing of boredom, he would rather keep going. He didn't want to seem rude to he kept silent. He wanted to get to a stream and maybe rest a bit, let the current take him wherever and he could rest and enjoy the sights. | |

| Twayblade ate her apple quite slowly, savouring it's juicy taste. However, she could see the Magikarp itching to move on, and so she got to her feet with roughly a quarter of the apple still in her paws. "I can eat whilst we're moving," she smiled, wandering forward, "So let's keep going." The Treecko continued to munch on the apple as they walked, Twayblade silently leading the way through the woods, her mind more interested in the crunchy but slightly sweet taste of the apple she was devouring. | |

| The magikarp was relieved to see the treecko was fine with making progress as they ate. The riolu seemed to disappointed to care much about moving anymore. Proteus wondered why land dwellers seemed to enjoy hard things like apples so much. He decided not to think too much about it, it was just one of the world's greatest questions so a fish. Kira trudged through the snow, not only has she been away from Grassveil for over a week now, but she had been too gluttonous to savor her apple. She simply gave a sigh and hoped that they would find another like it soon. | |

| It had been a while since Twayblade had finished her apple and the trio were making good pace. They had traveled quite far over the past few hours, short bursts of conversation here and there but mostly Twayblade herself had remained quiet. The sun was high in the sky compared to earlier, though all you could see was the white of the snow and the brown of the tree trunks that littered the area. "We're nearly to the edge of the forest," Twablade said quietly, deciding to inform the other two, "Not long until we reach the frozen stream now."As she said this she paused to pick something out of the snow. - This dice is not existing.

| "Then it's a straight shot to Grassveil?" Kira asked hopefully, the blue jackal pokemon just wanted to return home as she had made perfectly clear. Sure she had gotten an apple out of this journey, but there was no treasure, no cash, nothing in it for her aside from apples if they managed to find one. Proteus meanwhile was becoming exhausted. He began to slow down and was soon falling behind. The riolu had noticed since his blabbering about the sea had stopped. The magikarp was lucky that Kira returned and began to drag the magikarp along with his tail fin. | |

| "Well... a meandering shot to Grassveil. I wouldn't call any river exactly straight," grinned Twayblade picking what looked to be a TM of some description out of the snow. Examining it, the Treecko noticed a small inscription on the odd device. "Vacuum Cut..." she blinked. The Treecko probably wouldn't use it but maybe she could find someone who could find a better use for it rather than leaving it to decay in the snow; so she kept it, tsucking the small thing into her cloak. | |

| Kira noticed the Treecko pick up a tm, and read the words "Vacuum Wave" the move was a fighting type, something she could probably learn. She decided against asking though, she knew that sooner or later she would learn Force Palm and she would be able to paralyze targets with the attack. It was better to just let the treecko make some cash rather than begging for it even though she would forget it later. Proteus was silent, practically asleep as he was dragged along. He woke up when Kira seemed to drag him over an item, he grabbed onto it with his mouth to inspect it further. - This dice is not existing.

| "Nearly there now," grinned Twayblade, making her way cheerfully across the snowy forest floor. The trees were beginning to thin out now, though the snow was still ever present. There was no way to hear whether or not they were getting close to the stream as the running water could not be heard over the ice upon it's surface. | |

| Proteus had grabbed what the riolu had called an apple. He wondered what the thing tasted like...he decided to have a try. He took a bite as the group stopped, his bite was rather loud and attracted Kira's attention. Kira was astonished to see the Magikarp eating an Apple, without even announcing finding it...now she was ticked, "IT'S CALLED SHARING YOU SELFISH FISH!" She screamed as she launched the magikarp into the air and over a tree, disappearing over it, "GET BACK HERE!" she yelled before chasing after him on the ground. | |

| Twayblade stopped at the shouting and turned to see Kira annoyed at the Magikarp for not sharing the apple. Apparently the Riolu really loved the red fruit. She'd have to keep that in mind for later. The Treecko blinked in surprise as Kira threw the Magikarp over one of the few remaining trees that they had to travel past. She grinned however, when she heard what sounded like a splashing sound.
Quickly running after Kira, she arrived out of the trees to see that Proteus had landed straight in the frozen stream, the force from the Magikarp's landing having smashed a thinner part of the ice. If you listened carefully, you could just hear the running water beneath it. "Alright!" she grinned, "I guess you can finally head home now, huh? I guess this is where we part..."
The Treecko trailed off as she realised this was where she would part with Kira and Proteus. They would make their way to Grassveil and she would return to her life in the snowy forest. It was likely she'd probably never even see them again, unless they suddenly grew a taste for adventure. It was always the same here. She'd end up helping the Pokemon she stumbled across, spending time with them and generally enjoying herself. Then they'd leave and she'd be all alone again. Why did she always stay behind?
