Miles walked down the street as he headed towards home. Finding a job is tough...I guess I'll have to try again tomorrow... He had tried many different places, and yet he couldn't seem to get a job there. Either it was boring, it didn't pay well, or he wasn't qualified. One of the three applied to each of the jobs he'd tried for. He sighed, hoping he might get lucky soon...

Suddenly, as he looked to his left, something caught his eye. He stopped as he looked over at one of the shops, called "Bloom Dresses", though that wasn't what he was interested in. He could see a Gardevoir out front, doing something. She was wearing a white scarf and had violet eyes...he couldn't help but notice her. He stopped and looked for a little bit.

Bloom nodded. "That does make sense..." She glared at Jack. Framing Miles for murder...How rude and un-civil! she thought a bit upset.

Jack looked from Bloom to Manny to Miles. "You...you don't have any reason to suspect me! We were like brothers!" Manny looked at him. "So you wouldn't mind being searched?" Jack sweated. "St-stay back! Get away!" Manny came up to him and patted him down. he found a bloody hat in one of his pockets. "Explain." Jack sweated a bit. "I...I..." Suddenly, he ran over to Bloom, drew a gun, and held it to Bloom's temple. "Okay! It was me! But one false move, and she gets it! Not one twitch, girl!" Miles pulled on the handcuffs. "Bloom!"

Bloom gulped. "Miles...Manny...HELP!" she scanned the ground for something to throw at him, nothing within her reach.

Manny sweated. He didn't appear to have a weapon. "You...you won't get away with this!" Jack smiled. He began dragging Bloom with him out the door, watching Manny with every step. "You're coming with me, toots."

Bloom growled. "Let me go!" She tried to reach for the clock lying on the ground, but Bloom couldn't reach it. She sighed. I'm dead.

Miles strained on the handcuffs. "Manny, help!" Manny undid the handcuff, and Miles burst out there, but held himself at the door, looking at Jack. This would need to be critical. He reached for the gun on the ground from the murder. One bullet left. he would have no chanced. he looked at Bloom and mouthed. "keep your head down!"

Bloom gulped. She nodded and kept her head down from the aim.

Miles aimed his shot quickly, and fired. It hit Jack in the arm, causing him to let go for a second, but then whipped his gun at Bloom, but not holding her.

Bloom's eyes sparked and she tripped Jack, she knocked his gun out of his hands and held him down. "Miles, Get Manny here...Now!" Bloom said trying to keep Jack from escaping.

Manny soon arrived and handcuffed Jack. "You're under arrest. You have right to blah, blah, blah. Now come on." Manny carted off Jack, who was holding his paw over his wound. Miles turned to Bloom. "That was close..."

Bloom nodded. "I almost lost my breath there...Whew." She leaned against the wall.
"I know I said this before but...Some morning this turned out to be." Bloom sighed.

Miles shrugged. "Well, you can't put it better then that. Come on. Let's go get breakfast." He said, turning to go to the dining hall.

Bloom nodded and followed behind, it was still pretty packed. The two got seated and got the menus. Bloom checked her menu over twice. "...I'm getting Bacon and Eggs." She said with a grin. "I looooooove bacon."

Miles grinned. "Really? Same here!" He looked over the menu. "Hmmm...I could really go for some waffles and Bacon."

Bloom say the waiter come over. "I'd like Bacon and Eggs please." She said.
The waiter wrote it on his notepad and went to Miles. "And you?"
