Miles walked down the street as he headed towards home. Finding a job is tough...I guess I'll have to try again tomorrow... He had tried many different places, and yet he couldn't seem to get a job there. Either it was boring, it didn't pay well, or he wasn't qualified. One of the three applied to each of the jobs he'd tried for. He sighed, hoping he might get lucky soon...

Suddenly, as he looked to his left, something caught his eye. He stopped as he looked over at one of the shops, called "Bloom Dresses", though that wasn't what he was interested in. He could see a Gardevoir out front, doing something. She was wearing a white scarf and had violet eyes...he couldn't help but notice her. He stopped and looked for a little bit.

The crook looked up, hearing Bloom. "B-Bloom? Is that you?" A beam of light from the window now illuminated his face. It was Miles.

Bloom turned around and saw him. "Eep! M-Miles?!!" She gasped. "W-W-What the fudge?!"
She got closer. "Your the crook?" She said confused.

Miles looked up at her, pulling on the handcuffs that kept him stuck against the radiator. "No! I was walking past, saw the door was open, walked in, and I saw...that." He said, gesturing to the body of an Espion.

Bloom gulped. "The Umbreon killed the Espion??" She asked in shock.

Miles looked shocked. "Wh-what? No! He's a guard! He heard the gunshot and ran in! I...I heard it, and it sounded like it was in this room...I had picked up the gun when I entered, because I was dazed and confused, so Umbreon thinks it's me..."

Bloom blinked. "Oooh..." She sighed in relief and kneeled next to him, taking off the hand cuffs. "There. But...What happens now? The secutity people will be back any moment with backup and everything..." She said.

Miles shook his head. "They're going to find out if it's me or not. And If they find me un-handcuffed when they come back, they're going to think it's me even more so. They might think you're an accomplice. So handcuff me back. I'll be proven innocent."

Bloom sighed. "O-Okay..." She said handcuffing him back. That's when bloom heared footsteps barging down the hall. "They're here." She said with a gulp.

The Umbreon walked in, followed by a Emboar, who began to take photos of the scene, and a Beartic. "Alright, I heard what happened. Kid, you're in alot of trouble. Explain yourself." Miles told the story he told to Bloom to the Beartic. The Beartic sighed. "That's quite the story. Nothing but a story at the moment, though. We're going to have to hold you until you're proven innocent, if that's the case." The Beartic began to examine the body, and found a disk. "What do we have here?" Miles looked at Bloom in panic. That was the disk the Espion had shown them the other night.

Bloom sweat a bit. Oooo This is BAD! she thought nervously.

The Beartic held up the disk and looked around. "Anyone know who's this is?" Miles looked to Bloom, hoping she'd know what to do.

Bloom gulped. "Erm...It's mine, Sir." She said nervously. "I must have dropped it somewhere..." She said. Please oh please oh please don't put it in the DVD player. she begged in her head.

The Beartic looked at her. "Really? Would you mind me playing it? There may be something incriminating on it."

Bloom felt dizzy. "Oh crud..." She whispered. "I...I'd love to but...Y-You see...I...uh..." She looked at Miles from the corner of her eye. "It's broken! Yeah. It's not very safe to use on tv's and stuff if it's broken. Tried it once...Shorted out my Tv." She lied. "I'm getting it repaired when I find my...uh...Disc maker guy!"

BOY do i sound stupid. Bloom thought to herself.

Beartic rose an eyebrow. "...your poker face needs work, kid." He input the disk, and pressed play. After a bit, the Emboar and Umbreon were shocked, but the Beartic was emotionless. Afterwards, he looked at Bloom. "I respect you want to protect him, but you really shouldn't."
