Surfers at Nixon High REBORN!

Kyle found Colette's room easily with the directions from the workers at the house, "Here we go," he said as he opened the door. "Yo Colette you got some explaining to do," he loudly as he walked into the room.


OoC: You both probably remember this, but Kyle and James have heard about Colette's sad past. And they just entered her room.

Colette looked over at Kyle slowly with eyes like a dead person's. She held her stare for a moment, then turned back to look out the window, continuing to put little braids in her hair soundlessly. It didn't look like she wanted to talk about it.

" yes like why have we not already raided the pantry and watched movie in the indoor theater." James of course assumed they had those things. man she's not doing good here. he thought scratching the back of his head while putting on an akward smile. His resolve to ignore everything he was told earlier had already been exspressed now just to act.

"Exactly," Kyle said, "Or how you still owe me twenty bucks." he added.

".....Since when have I owed you twenty bucks." Colette stated flatly, not turning to look at her friends as she talked. She didn't want to see their faces, to see how hurt they were or to see them pitying her. She had been pitied enough over the years.

" since that time he gave you twenty buck." James said as though it was obvious. " what other time could you have owned him twenty buck?"

"James, I was kidding," Kyle said, "When do I ever loan out money?"

Colette snorted a little, but still didn't turn around. She was like a stone, no emotion whatsoever except for that one little outburst just then.

" I don't know maybe you did do to I don't know red heads at the beach?" He said with a teasing smile.

"Her name is Kimberly and I bought her a drink," Kyle said, "I didn't loan out money."

Colette smiled a little hearing her two friends bicker. It was nice to know that things hadn't really changed, but it was obvious that they now knew her backstory and she didn't know if she could bring herself to explain it all to them.

"WHATEVER you say kyle WHATEVER you say." James replied in that obnoxiously super sarcastic voice that everyone uses when they're trying to be annoying.

"Well anyway," Kyle started, "Come on Colette, quit sulking, you need to give us a tour." he said.

Colette sighed and got up from her perch in front of the window. "Your History class excuse doesn't apply here. You really have no mercy, do you." she grumbled flatly, although her mood was improving a little.

" Oh yes we gots to see everything in this place!" James agreed nodding a ton. He blinked when Colette mention something about history he didn't say anything though.
