High alltitude

Davonta entered the pond area and looked around for a pretty high tree. "Theres one." he said to himself. He waalks over the tree and begins climbing he soon reaches a branch and lays on it watching the sky and messing with his goggles.

Bait swam over to the shallow end of the pond and looked up to see Davonta in the tree. "Hey! 'Vonta! What are you doing up in that leafy sap-drenched death trap? You see something from up there?"

Davonta quickly turned his attention to Bait. "No I just like being in trees." He said as he puts his goggles back on and climbed down the tree.

"I don't get it," Bait grumbled. "Trees are like land squared. They've got even more clingy things, leaves hurt like crazy, they're all sticky and they could fall down at any minute! What are you, half pachirisu or something?"

"No I just enjoy being in trees and what are you doing here?" He said.

"Chilling." Bait said. "This is my natural habitat after all. Though I like saltwater much better. What can I say, fish gotta swim. Plus, walking is a tiring affair. I was practicing. At any rate, how should we go about doing this rescue team business?"

"Maybe we should practice and explore a bit pratice makes perfict after all."He said

Bait considered. "Weeeell, we could practice swimming, but I'm already just too good at that. There aren't that many wildies, but we could do a bit of move practice. Maybe crush some rocks with my fangs or swift-shot some targets. Hey, if you're game I could even get some decent leering in."

"I guess we could practice our moves whenever your ready I guess." Davonta said as he got into fighting stance

Bait weighed her options. *okay, he's an electric type, so if I stay in this water I'm catch of the day. But if I get out I'm a sitting Swanna. Soooo...* she dove deep into the water, then swam up as fast as she could, her Speed Boost making her quicker and quicker until she burst from the water and flew at high speed towards Davonta. "Speed Boost Bite!" She yelled, before opening her jaws wide.

Davonta dodged but he wasn't quick enough and was bitten by bait on his arm. "Oww."

"Nice, 'Vonta!" she said after extracting her teeth and landing on he ground. "not many dodge the boost bite even a bit. Anyhow, I guess I oughta-" she froze mid word and used swift.

Davonta didn't doge instead he ran into the attack hopefully being able to tackle her.

Bait wasn't expecting that and the tackle hit her head on. "hoo! Now we're talking!" She glared right into his eyes hoping her leer would take effect.

Davonta took one glance to her eyes and found himself caught into her leer.
