Exploring the Cave (Closed to me and Davonta)

"Hey, Davonta! You there? Sorry I'm late!" Aero called. She didn't see her pikachu acquaintance at the moment, but she was sure he was around here somewhere. He had also seemed excited to come here, and he also didn't seem like the kind of pokemon that would abandon her... She then had a slightly embarrassing thought hit her, "I sure hope I came to the right place. It would be embarrassing of I came to the wrong cave." The Archen said her thoughts out loud for some unclear reason. But anyway, she would not be pleased if she had messed up this chance of getting to explore Serene Cave.

Despite her slight fear of being at the wrong place, Aero couldn't help but be pretty excited. She was still new to exploring and all, but how hard could it be?... She had no idea. But hey, she was going to do something with her life. That was what counted. And this 'Serene Cave' seemed like a good place to officially start.

The Archen couldn't help but groan. "Everything in this stupid cave knows Rock Tomb, including me!" She rolled her eyes and got ready to burst the rocks out of the way using Dragon Pulse, but Davonta had moved the stones out of the way before she got the chance. "Uh, thanks." Aero called quickly, and after that she turned to the Nosepass. "Take this, Nose-thing!" She yelled, launching a Dragon Pulse at the Compass pokemon. Her attack was weakened, however, because of the Defense Scarf.

Davonta used thunderbolt once more on the Nosepass instead of it not being affected the Nosepass was paralyzed by Davonta's thunderbolt. Davonta used the moment to attack the compass pokemon head on using tackle and quick attack.

The Archen watched as Davonta attacked the Nosepass, waiting for an opening to fire another Dragon Pulse. She didn't want to hit Davonta with the Dragon-type move, although she was only level 6. Her attack wouldn't do that much. Speaking of not doing much, that Nosepass wasn't taking much damage thanks to the Defense Scarf. Hey... What would happen if the Defense Scarf was taken away? Aero slyly smiled to herself. She had an idea, and it was so unlikely that it just might work.

"Hey Davonta, keep it busy!" Aero called, but she didn't wait for an answer. She charged headfirst at the Compass pokemon using Quick Attack, then suddenly leaped into the air. She loved the feeling of being off the ground, but she couldn't let that distract her. The Archen grabbed the scarf off of the nose of the Nosepass, and as you may guess, that didn't make the Compass Pokemon happy. It used Tackle at the Archen to knock her out of the way, then fired a Rock Tomb at Davonta.

Davonta tried to dodge the Nosepass's Rock tomb but Davonta wasn't fast enough and he was trapped in the rock tomb. As quickly as Davonta was trapped he quickly breaked out using a thunderbolt. The stream of electricity continued heading straight to the Nosepass.

Aero crashed into the ground after the Nosepass knocked her away with it's Tackle. She didn't get back on her feet quickly this time, since she just felt so.... dizzy. To be honest, she didn't really want to fight anymore. She just wanted to rest right now. Chances were that Davonta had taken a hit or two as well, and the same with the Nosepass... Speaking of the Nosepass, something was bothering her. Hopefully she could tell Davonta when this fight was over. But for now, she would have to fight this thing. The Archen forced herself to her feet once more, and started preparing a blast a purple energy. A blast of energy that would never hit it's target, unfortunately.

The Dragon Pulse vaporised into thin air. Aero flinched for some reason, but she quickly recovered. She started preparing another Dragon Pulse, and this time the purple beam hit it's target flawlessly. The Nosething hardly seemed affected by the attack, however. It took Aero a moment for her to understand what had happened; her stupid ability had activated. Now her attacks would only do half damage until she got a chance to heal.

The Archen cursed under her breath and rolled out of the way from another Rock Tomb attack from the Compass Pokémon. Thankfully, the Nosething seemed to be growing weaker as well, so she and Davonta could probably beat this feral Pokémon. Still, though, Aero had decided she wasn't a big fan of these Nosethings. They took waaaaay to long to take down. "Hey, Davonta, could you finish this?" She called a moment before she got buried under another Rock Tomb, but this time the Archen shattered the rocks using Wing Attack. "Also, it would be great if you could be quick about it!"

"Alright I'll take cae of it." Davonta began to use thundebolt on the Nosepass but this thunderbolt. The stream of high voltage electricity escaped from Davonta's body and went towards the Nosepass shocking it for a moment. When Davonta's electrical attack was finished the Nosepass was still standing but it didn't attack back. Davonta quickly ran to the Nosepass to do a quick attack when the attack came into contact with the Nosepass the pokemon was sent rolling into a wall. The Nosepass was now defeated. "Come on Aero I think we should go before that Nosepass comes to."

Aero nodded. "Yeah, let's go." She agreed quickly, following the path ahead. Now that she got a good look at the ground, there seemed to be footsteps all over the place around here. Were those footsteps from Feral Pokemon, or explorers? Maybe she would never know. But it was a comforting thought to think that other Pokemon had made it through this cave before, so Aero decided to go with the latter option. Speaking of Feral Pokemon, there was something she wanted to ask Davonta about. It probably wasn't a big deal, but it was bugging her. So the Archen had decided to get it off her mind.

"Uh... Hey Davonta, something's been bugging me about Feral Pokemon." Aero admitted as she kept walking along, holding the Defense Scarf in one hand. She had unknowingly left the Gray Gummi behind, but that didn't really matter, right? "Do you think some of them have nothing but their insticts?... If they did, that would be a little sad. They could have put the energy they use in attacking travellers into something else, like helping the many Pokemon in trouble... But that's a silly thought, eh?" The Archen forced a laugh, even though she did think it would be a little sad if the many Feral Pokemon didn't even know better then to randomly try to beat up others. That thought just seemed so... Depressing? That word was a little extreme, but it certainly seemed pretty sad to Aero. Hopefully she was wrong about that theory, it seemed unlikely anyway.

As Davonta listened to the Archen he never really thought about why feral pokemon attack at him or others. Davonta began to think for a brief moment as he walked with the Archen. "Well Aero I dont think their instincts is the only reason why they attack us." Davonta said. " I think some of them just attack others to relieve any anger or try to feel good about themselves thats what I think." Davonta continued. "Do you know the story about Temporal tower?" Davonta asked.

Aero listened to the Pikachu. "Yeah, I hope you're right. Also, I've never heard about Temporal Tower. Care to tell?" She asked curiously as she walked along. The name "Temporal Tower" certainly didn't ring a bell to her, but it sounded pretty cool.

"Ok well a long time ago,
Arceus created three beings. Palkia, Giratina, and
Dialga. Dialga was the ruler of time. He brought
order to every Pokemon's life. But one day,
something happened to him. Giratina had played
a twisted trick, before he was banished by Arceus to the Reverse World. He destroyed Dialga's
home, the Temporal Tower. Dialga was thrown
into a fit of primal rage, making time stop all over
the globe. This had to be stopped, but only the
chosen one could do so. Using a things called
Time Gears." Davonta took a short moment to catch his breath to continue. "When the time gears were collected they brought them to temporal tower where Dialga was waiting. Dialga's judgement was clouded by rage he couldn't see that time was being corrupted. But the chosen one manages to defeat Dialga and restore time." Davonta explanded. "Well thats all I know about that."

Aero seemed a little confused by the tale, but nodded anyway. Banishing a being forever into the Reverse World certainly seemed harsh... But it sounded like Girintina almost destroyed the world. "That's an interesting tale." The Archen commented, wondering if it was true or not. It would be cool if it was real, with legendary heroes defeating a Pokémon as powerful as Dialga and all, but at the same time it seemed so... Unlikely. But hey, it was just a story... Right?

Lost in her thoughts, Aero managed to trip over something. "Ouch..." She mumbled, lifting herself back onto her feet.

Davonta watched as Aeo feel he tried to efrain from laughing but a couple of chuckles escaped from him. "You ok Aero?" Davonta asked.

Aero dusted some dust off her feathers, chuckling at her own unawareness. "Yup, I'm fine." She smiled, then quickly looked towards what she tripped on. "Hey... What's this thing?" She asked curiously, picking up a Warp Seed and showing it to Davonta.

Davonta examined the seed Aero had showed him. "Hmmmm I think thats a warp seed." Davonta said. "Whatever eats it will teleport to a random location in a dungeon." Davonta explanded

"Seriously? That sounds awesome!" Aero exclaimed, looking at the seed in awe, as if she had never heard of anything like it... Well, to be honest, she hadn't. "Y'know, I think that this might be useful. Can't we just throw it at a Feral Pokémon and they'll teleport somewhere in a flash?" She asked. "Or maybe one of us can eat it if we want to get farther ahead?" This was all completely new to Aero, since she had never really heard of anything like it before. Serious, a seed that could let you teleport... It was a bit for the Archen to take in. In fact, she was so interested in the seed, she didn't see the Pokémon lurking behind her...
