Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Intelligence before Conqueror   Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 EmptyTue Feb 24, 2015 11:01 pm

First topic message reminder :

Miss Treavus floated through the town, peering at all the shops that were scattered around the road. She needed a good place for her own shop, which probably didn't exist unless a meteor would suddenly crash in a perfect place, or a team of psychic and ghost types to move a mountain peak to the town. From what she could see, there was a beach nearby. Perhaps she could Hypnotize a team of strong fighting types to lift a boulder from the ocean into the town, or might she think, do it herself. She could already imagine the success of selling her potions to the needy and the greedy, finally earning some profit from her hobby. Heck, she wouldn't care if she sold them to an idiot or a mastermind, so long as she could make money or be part of the rising. But enough of thinking about the future, for now she needed her shop to be made.

PostSubject: Re: Intelligence before Conqueror   Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 EmptyMon Mar 09, 2015 3:12 pm

Miss T

Treavus returned his gaze with a proud one of her own.
"Ah, but I do not 'play' with such sensitive material. It took centuries of practise before I developed the effects I can create today, and there's still so much more my concoctions are capable of. But right now it is a repetitive and careful practise to ensure everything goes well with my shop. It will take a lot of testing to pass a new potion. I still look forward to opening it, however, and I expect you'd visit it."

His grin implied that he knew exactly what he wanted out of these potions. She might as well list their effects, and warn him of the catch.
"The effects are mainly offensive; only some can heal, while most others cause status effects or damage. Using the positive ones can nearly make one invincible. I must warn you, however, that mixing or using too many of these potions can cause fatal issues that not even the user can escape from. If you buy any, don't try anything ridiculous."
She could already imagine what he may have done without this warning.

Animae Raverous, Remitis
The spiritomb thought for a moment. 'Potions that can make you near invincible. I like the sound of that.' he thought to himself as she explained her potions.

"Yes, my mistake there. Of course it would take years of practice to achieve." he apologized for his mistake.

He then looked around for a moment then returned his gaze. "So your concoctions are that sensitive to changes...? The art of potion making must be very difficult then. Something that requires a lot of patience." he stated with a curious expression.

PostSubject: Re: Intelligence before Conqueror   Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 EmptyMon Mar 09, 2015 4:25 pm

Miss T

The Misdreavus emitted a soft, witchy giggle after her ghostly acquaintance had responded.
"No need to apologize, mister. It may be a common misconception, but that was how things used to be for me. You're not one hundred percent incorrect."

She already enjoyed this one's nature much more than the other ghost-type she had met. She could tell that this one may use her potions for a more vigorous use, but he was surprisingly good for a bad guy.

Now he spoke for a second time, and Miss T snapped back to being attentive.
"Ah, yes. Even if they aren't properly mixed, or added too soon, fire catches, or a minor non-damaging explosion may occur. Potion making is all about patience, trial and error, and knowledge. I would allow other Pokemon to try this at my shop... But you can only imagine what would happen," she finished with an evilly amused grin.

Animae Raverous, Remitis

Animae had an amused grin after hearing how she would allow others to mix the potions together and stating that they could only imagine what would happen.

"I can only imagine what would happen. " he said with a slight chuckle.

he was actually quite amused by the thought. " But you wouldn't allow that inside your own shop. You wouldn't want anything to happen to the shop. " he said in a more serious sounding tone. although he did still have a hint of amusement of the idea.

PostSubject: Re: Intelligence before Conqueror   Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 EmptyMon Mar 09, 2015 6:19 pm

Miss T

Her bright smile quickly turned into a sort of grimace when the Spiritomb repeated her last line. She hated that sort of habit. However, she should be grateful he wasn't trying to annoy her on purpose, unlike others

"Actually, I originally would've. I mean, not much harm comes out of mixing berries. It doesn't do any damage to the Pokemon if the brew erupts, and it's not like I'm going to have so many customers that I'll have other things I need to do besides cleaning up the explosion. Plus, I would make it free so I wouldn't have to worry about refunds or suing."

Miss at had yet to admit that the whole idea would be too tough to introduce first-thing. Perhaps she would introduce it later when she found enough regulars.

Animae Raverous, Remitis

The spirit you notice as he saw the Misdreavus grimace after he spoke. 'Was or something I said?' he thought to himself.

When she stated some reasons about why she would let others mix their own berries themselves. He then realized she was actually pretty serious about the idea.
"Soo. if a potion does explode during brewing. The explosion isn't normally big? I only ask because I don't know much about the topic."

PostSubject: Re: Intelligence before Conqueror   Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 EmptyMon Mar 09, 2015 8:48 pm

Miss T

The Misdreavus looked to him, her mouth straitening and her eyes surprised with a hint of confusion.
"Hmm? Ah? I just have tolerance issues. Don't mind me, just like your ticks, I have mine."

She hovered and thought about it for a moment. She kind of was a jerk, with control issues and hatred towards random habits. But why? Was it because she spent so long inside her labs that she never really stayed around with others? Her unintentional anti-social lifestyle left her annoyed when things weren't in absolute silence. Her reading of books made repetitive acts unnecessary, so why did the Spiritomb repeat her?

"The diameter and power of a chemical explosion depends on the ingredients used. For example, when Sodium is put in water, it catches on fire, but putting oil in water just causes repelling between the two substances, much like the composition of cell membranes. However, after a long time of testing, I found the ingredients that don't react too seriously. What is used as the liquid in my potions is what the problem is, and the ingredients are merely to add effects and calm reactions by preventing them. So too much movement and stirring with certain ingredients can cause the liquid to touch the reactive element again and trigger the reaction."

Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Intelligence before Conqueror   Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 EmptyTue Mar 10, 2015 3:35 am

Animae Raverous, Remitis

The spiritomb listened intently on the topic. He did not fully understand all these things she had spoken about. However he understood what she meant by certain things react to each other differently. If they came in contact the wrong way, they would erupt.

"So... To put it simply. Mix the wrong thing the wrong way... It explodes?" he said hoping to have gotten the idea down correctly.

"I think. I would leave it to the professional." he said with a smile. "I don't want to mix the wrong thing." he said with a slight smile.

He then thought for a moment. 'I wonder if there are certain things that react very violently...'

He looked towards the Misdreavus with a curious expression. "Is there anything you found... That is especially dangerous when mixed together? Explosive wise...? Like have you encountered anything in the past that you probably wouldn't mix again?" he asked her out of curiosity. He wasn't entirely sure how to ask. Even if she didn't want to state what it was that was very dangerous to mix together. He was still curious if she ever did encounter such a mixture that was too dangerous to use.

PostSubject: Re: Intelligence before Conqueror   Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 EmptyTue Mar 10, 2015 11:38 am

Miss T

The Misdreavus nodded at the Spiritomb's first question, a sly look of amusement creating a thin smile and uneven eyes. She laughed once more, realizing this is the most she's ever laughed around anyone.
"Very well. Having your opinion, I suppose I'll hold off on that whole idea."
It was agreeable. Why should this genius let her customers barge in and mix whatever the heck they'd like? They could very well ruin her shop and material, and waste their own at that. Even if she made the offer free, she could somehow be blamed for it.

Raverous now asked her a question that quite concerned her. She could sense where he might be going with this, but it did no harm for her to tell him. After all, he didn't have the chemical base of her potions, and that was something she never confided.
"Ah that brings me back... There's many, of course, and some that can't even be mixed together. The substance I use is acidic to food, so putting in Blast Seeds can be a real bother..."
She didn't even bother to say that one of her potions required a Blast Seed.

PostSubject: Re: Intelligence before Conqueror   Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 EmptyTue Mar 10, 2015 4:43 pm

Animae Raverous, Remitis

The spiritomb looked a bit shocked. "Many?!" he said in complete shock. Whatever ideas he had in mind. He quickly cast it aside. If there are many things that react badly with each other. He did not want to even attempt any such plan he might of had with such substances.

"Anyways. That is pretty startling to hear, running into that many things that react like that." he said in a slightly calmer tone. It was pretty obvious he was still a bit shocked. "What would a blast seed be used for? I can't imagine what they be used for... I would expect them to be unusable in a potion."

He took a moment to think. "I am glad you know what your doing." he said feeling a bit better. He had a smile on his face, not one of malice at least. He was genuinely glad to know that she knew what she was dealing with on this potion business.

Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Intelligence before Conqueror   Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 EmptyTue Mar 10, 2015 4:59 pm

Miss T

Treavus nodded, growing serious.
"Yes, many. You'd be surprised how dangerous some berries can really be. Just take a moment to really think about it..."
There were items in their world that exploded, healed a great amount, induced sleep and other status effects.... It was expected that something would happen if the shells and skins of these edible foods be taken away, emitting harmful gasses, or a mere spark setting the whole thing on fire with a severe reaction.

The Misdreavus suppressed a groan as the other ghost stated "be used for" in two sentences in a row. She couldn't let him down; she was just a terrible being on her own.
"OHHH.... Damaging potions, harmful effects... These potions are too dangerous to sell, though, as it can be worse than Self-Destruct and Explosion combined. Admitted hyperbole..." She realized how much she had been speaking in comparison to the other, as he was mainly asking questions about her. She was talking about herself this whole time, and she was honestly curious where this one came from...
"Why thank you. So from where do you derive? And if you don't mind me asking, what's your purpose here?"

PostSubject: Re: Intelligence before Conqueror   Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 EmptyTue Mar 10, 2015 8:38 pm

Animae Raverous, Remitis

The spiritomb took in this information with a serious expression. "Are you... Going to be selling such potions?" The spiritomb asked her with a slightly worried expression. He got the idea of how bad having a Self destruct move and Explosion move combined is... If it was truly that big... Why would one make it?

She then asked him where he came from.
"Not any one place in particular. I tend to travel a bit. I stay in one area for a good bit before moving though." he said in response.

"The last place I have come from though. Although I don't quite remember the direction from here of which it resides. I had last visited a small village... The residents of the village..." he said with a slightly annoyed tone. "Despite looking friendly towards travelers... They weren't too keen on ghost types..." he finished.

((OOC: Feel free to use some kind of dialog re-asking about his purpose to make it not seem so strung out...))

"For my purpose here..." he said as he thought for a moment.
"I am not entirely sure yet. I only know that the Charmander from the village... Is here..." he said with some thought.

"I can't really say what I plan to do... Because I really do not have one." he said with a frown. The fact he didn't have a plan was genuine. However his intent on what he might do was most likely of no good. He just had no clue what he was going to do. He only wanted to locate the Charmander. However just fairly recently, He discovered that this Charmander's friend, a Pichu is also here...

((OOC: Well... That was rather long))

Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Intelligence before Conqueror   Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 EmptyWed Mar 11, 2015 12:35 am

Miss T

A sort of overly surprised expression overcame the female figure's face, and she shook her head viciously.
"Oh no, no way will I ever sell that. There's many powerful potions that I've pre-set to never bring to the public. Already, I've told you too much. Alchemist code."

What she was referring to wasn't so much a "code", rather the way all magicians, biotechnologists, and anyone of the sort who oblige to never give away their secrets. The fact that he knew that the base was sensitive and a super-destructive potion required a Blast Seed was already unsettling.

And so his story began. If Miss T had arms, one would be propping her head up as her eyes filled with wonderment. Beside her, a pad and a pencil hovered with a purple glow around it and began to write, however she gazed at him with full attention. The Misdreavus waited for a pause, during which she realized that she had no choice but to repeat a past dialect.
"And your purpose?"

After the Spiritomb explained that, her heart bounced at the common feeling.
"So that's why you're after him..." She pondered with a never-before-heard voice from her, full of both thought and understanding. "Everyone out of town would accuse me of being a 'witch' just because I'm a ghost type. I've lived under such for over 800 years."

This new feeling felt strange to Treavus, as she looked down trying to decipher it. No one had ever stated exactly how she felt before. For some reason, that linked into the thought of how much of a curmudgeon she was all the time, and her dark color beside each side of her mouth began to glow purple at a small diameter. Her first blush in all the 1000 years of her life.

((OOC: Longer? The more interesting! ^^))

PostSubject: Re: Intelligence before Conqueror   Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 EmptyWed Mar 11, 2015 1:27 am

Animae Raverous, Remitis

Animae looked towards Miss T as she said she would not sell such dangerous potions to the public. He nodded in agreement with such a statement. However inside it is possible that he was a bit let down. Either way, that idea was no way visible on the surface.

As the spiritomb told his story, he did notice her taking notes using her psychic abilities. He probably would of wished for her not to, however he would not object.
It wasn't as if it would come back to haunt him later.
(OOC: hehehe. Majority of his story is true, Only fragments are considered... stretched or false.)

After he had told his story to her she did ask him what his purpose was for being here. He gave his response and she seemed to ponder over the rest of his explanation.

She then explained how she would be accused of being a witch just because she was a ghost type. Living under such judgement for over 800 years.

"Something we should not have to go through..." he said to her after she finished. He looked towards her as she looked down. She had a slight purple glow on each side of her mouth. 'Is.... She blushing?' he thought to himself.

((OOC: I couldn't think of more stufffffs))

PostSubject: Re: Intelligence before Conqueror   Intelligence before Conqueror - Page 3 EmptyWed Mar 11, 2015 11:55 am

Miss T

Her flushing followed with squishing of her face in the growing anger, a strange hiss or sizzle as her purple worsened from temperament.
"This 'judgement', this downright bias... We're living under the tyrannical thoughts of all these typists, who believe 'all ghost and dark types are villainous'... This is exactly what my town's history is about, how our ghostly saviors went out of their way to protect us from such... An army against Arceus, for Girantina's sake would send any other non-ghost into a panic. They rely too much on that damned goat..." the Misdreavus let out in a steam.

If it were her choice, she would send every'mon into demise, make them into a ghost, and be rid of any type she doesn't trust or has picked on the types that are. All the typism made up herself, to the point where she only trusts certain types. It's not a choice, just simply natural having grown up around only-ghosts.

"We can't live under this tyranny..." she growled under her breath, ripping the top of the notepad off and slipping each of the objects back from where they came.
