Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups Empty
PostSubject: Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups   Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups EmptySun Feb 08, 2015 3:35 am

Basically, Interdimensional is a crossover roleplay, where you can choose any original character of yours from any sort of form of story to play with. Be it a fanfic, a roleplay, an original story, anything. The roleplay will follow whatever ragtag band of characters people come up with all being taken from their worlds, with no memory of how or why they were taken, waking up in a seemingly abandoned city. The characters will travel to different worlds, all of them familiar to certain members of the group, with the intention of figuring out why they were brought there, and what they're supposed to do.

This is going to be a somewhat episodic roleplay, with each world having its own small story, and an overarching story spanning the whole thing. Really, this is just supposed to be a fun, relaxed roleplay. Don't worry about making your posts super long, or putting a huge amount, or impressing anyone. Just have fun with it, don't be overpowered or unfair to others, but have some fun.

Rules:
1. Really, all the standard rules apply here. Don't powerplay/godmod, don't be a jerk out of character, etc..
2. I'm going to say everyone's allowed to have one character to start with. If not a lot of people join, I might allow two characters, but you can only submit one world for use.
3. This is going to require participation from people. As the characters go to the different worlds, you're all going to know your character's world best. Because of that, it's probably going to feel like we're taking turns coming up with the small plots of each world. Don't be afraid to take a bit of a lead when the time comes to go to your character's world, but also remember not to leave everyone else behind with it and balance things.

Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups Empty
PostSubject: Re: Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups   Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups EmptySun Feb 08, 2015 3:50 am

Name: Thomas
Species/Race: Half-Demon, Half-Elf
Age: 18
Gender: Male

Universe/World/Roleplay they come from: Elina
Important Area from that World: Temple of the end

Appearance: Thomas normally wears a red combat vest and black pants. He has a belt that normally holds small trinkets or knives. His hair is a pure white. Since he is a half demon he shared one trait with his demonic self. That is two wolf ears in top of his head and a wolf tail both white. On his left hand he has a gauntlet which he uses in order to stop his sword from hurting him. Black combat boots are what he wears in his feet. His eye's are a crimson red.

Special Abilities and Gear: (Equipment) En-Blade, a powerful sword wielded by the half demon Thomas. Allows him to hit anything ranging from ghosts to God's. While the blade is on his person it still grants him the power to strike anything

(Ability) A dancers body. He can control every part of his body and move it perfectly. He is also flexible and uses this in combat. He also possesses Demonic blood which sometimes makes him go into something called a "Frenzy" while fighting. This is only when he's mad though

(Backwards sword) his own style of fighting holding the blade backwards. He uses his movements and swings the blade with timed strikes in order to attack. He can use the blades power to do skills but is unable to use any form of Magic

Personality: Thomas is a kind and nice half-demon. He learned to be kind and gentle towards others and always tries to have a sunny perspective on things. He is oblivious to anything involving perverse acts and had been said to either just have a pure heart or be stupid. He does have his moments when he gets mad because of the demonic blood in his veins but he can calm himself down most of the time.

He will never back down from a fight no matter how hard it might be. Always one to stick up for anyone or give them a chance. While this has gotten him into serious trouble in the past he still gives everyone he knows a chance. If someone he knows is in danger he will risk his life even if he doesn't know them well.
History: (long ass history so I'll just sum it up)
Thomas was born into a family that died during one if his world's wars. He was picked up by the head captain of the army Eliza who raised him as her own. He trained under her for his whole life becoming better then most soldiers at the age of 10. He couldn't beat her with the normal sword style so he decided to train using the blade backwards. This worked and he was able to deal some damage on her but never fully beat her.

When Thomas was 17 his mother had passed away from a disease that was given to her from a blade that had poison on it. He was given her last will and testament and went to the capital in order to get what she left for him. When he got there they didn't believe he was her son and decided to test him. After Thomas beat them down he got the item's which were the legendary blade and the gauntlet.

A lot of fights and wars came Thomas's way. He fought many battles alongside his friend Reah. Even once taking on a whole army by himself which earned him and Reah the title "Army of two" Afterwards Thomas lived until he was 18 in peace but more battles would come his way. After another adventure Thomas managed to unlock the full power of his sword to face off against someone who called himself a god. After he was able to try and live his life peacefully

Friends, Family and Foes: (Family) Eliza his Elven mother who raised him since he was a baby. Reah a female elf who joined Thomas with his adventures he considers her family since all the stuff they have been through.
(Friend's) Maria is the princess if their land and considers Thomas to be her best friend.
(Foe) one of his main Foes is someone called James. He claimed to be a god and tried to kill Thomas in the temple of the end. He was stopped but still remains dormant in the temple
Other: He has wolf ears and a tail also his abilities will be limited greatly because En-blade unable to recognize it's him.

Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups Empty
PostSubject: Re: Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups   Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups EmptySun Feb 08, 2015 4:19 am

Name: Mak'karath
Species/Race: Chain Golem
Age: Very, very old.
Gender: None
Universe/World/Roleplay they come from: Kingdom of Rylaath (Generic Fantasy)
Important Area from that World: The Order's fortress in the western city of Tynium.
Appearance: Image Link
Special Abilities and Gear: Due to literally being made out of iron, Mak'karath is very physically durable and strong. However this also makes him rather slow and heavy. Additionally his resistance against physical attacks is mitigated by a weakness to magic, especially Fire and Anti-Magic.
Furthermore he possesses a variety of medieval weapons.
Personality: Not the brightest, Mak'karath is a rather peaceful creature. Even though it might cause more problems than it solves he always tries to help his friends. Though averse to violence and generally trying to solve issues diplomatically (even though he usually really shouldn't try) he is fiercely protective of those he considers his friends.
History: A long , long time ago Mak'karath was created to guard the tomb of some wizard. Over the ages the tomb itself withered away to nothing until eventually Mak'karath simply left and joined the Order of the Broken Arrow, an organisation dedicated to maintaining the peace in the world which may or may not be caused by the fact that the wizzard was a member of the Order of the Broken Arrow and implanted his desire to keep the peace into Mak´karath´s mind.
Friends, Family and Foes:
Friends: The Order of the Broken Arrow
Foes: None in particular

Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups Empty
PostSubject: Re: Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups   Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups EmptySun Feb 08, 2015 6:32 am

Name: Ella Phantasma
Species/Race: Halfa (Half Ghost/Half Human)
Age: Appears to be 18 or so, but is actually in her mid-fifties.
Gender: Female

Universe/World/Roleplay they come from: Danny Phantom
Important Area from that World: The Ghost Zone
A world of swirling green and strange floating islands, where the ghosts of the Ghost Zone "live" out their afterlives. There are also many random floating doors that lead to many a strange world. These strange doors and islands are Ghost Lairs. The most common Ghost Lairs known to Ella are Skulker's Hunting Island, Ghostwriter's Library, Walker's Prison, and her own lair, which is a floating mansion not far from Skulker's island.

Appearance:
As a human, Ella has very light blond hair and icy blue eyes. She generally wears a t-shirt with a nature theme and a pair of comfortable grey sweatpants and blue-and-white sneakers.
As a ghost, Ella's hair transforms into a dark, earthy brown, and her eyes change to this color as well. She also wears a green and brown tunic and a skort (skirt and shorts together) that seem to be made of vines. Her skin also turns from its normal caucasian shade to a forest green color.

Special Abilities and Gear:
She has the normal ghost powers: Flight, Invisibility, Intangibility, and ability to manipulate Ectoplasm. She also has a warm core that is connected to the element of earth, so she has some control over the earth and plants.

Personality:
Ella is a kind soul at heart. She likes making ghosts happy, because most ghosts formed out of unhappiness at their death. Though she is kind to ghosts, she resents humans because when she was a child she had been constantly teased and had been abused and neglected by her parents. She believes that humans are evil. She believes that in death, ghosts realize how horrible they were as humans and that is part of the reason they are so miserable.

History:
LONG HECK HISTORY:

Summary: Ella was abused as a child. She ran away and became a half-ghost through an accident with a natural ghost portal. She was found by Ghostwriter and she thought she was a full ghost until she met Vlad Masters, who turned out to be a halfa like her. Vlad and her trained their powers together until they drifted apart due to his obsession with killing Jack Fenton. Now she waits for him to succeed in his plans and hopes that he'll choose a less boring obsession next time.

Friends, Family and Foes:

Friends:
~Skulker: a robotic hunting ghost with many weapons; claims to be "The Greatest Hunter in all of the Ghost Zone."

~Ember: A blue-skinned, blue-fiery-haired young female ghost who can control people using her voice and guitar. Girlfriend to Skulker. Ember and Ella sometimes pair together to sing during Ghost Zone holidays.

~Ghostwriter: a ghostly librarian and writer. He is very smart and was an English teacher in life. When Ella first became a halfa, she found the Ghostwriter's Library and he became her tutor in all things ghostly. They have developed a close bond because of this.

Family:
~Vlad Plasmius/Masters: Fellow Halfa, in human form he is a multi-billionaire who owns many companies throughout the world. As a Ghost, he's a dark presence in the Ghost Zone, seeking to use other ghosts and ghostly artifacts for his own, often nefarious, purposes.
Though Vlad is not really her brother, Ella likes to view him as one, and they are as close as siblings. Though she is disappointed by his view towards some things, she'll always be there for the man, and she understands his loneliness.

Foes:
~Danny Phantom: Another Fellow halfa, claims to be a "superhero" and uses his powers for "good". Ella doesn't like Phantom not because he isn't a good person/ghost, but because he constantly pretends and lets himself be pushed around by humans, who she thinks should not have any say in what halfa's do. She also views Danny as a young, annoying teenage boy, and so this often causes conflict between the two.

~Spectra & Bertrand: This ghostly duo are the banes' of Ella's existence. Bertrand is a fully developed imprint, which is a type of ghost that exists only for one emotion and can only feel one emotion. If they attach to a human and the human feeds them, they grow in power and size. This is what has happened to Spectra. Since Spectra is being kept alive by constantly feeding Bertrand misery, if she goes too long without collecting misery from ghosts or humans, she will fade away. Ella feels pity for Spectra, but since the two's existence revolves around making everyone else miserable, she hates them and attempts to stop them when she sees them.

-Chaos Sword: Summoned by the power of her chaos emerald, this is another one of Blade's combat weapons.
Personality: Blade is a very..... serious but friendly type. She's very compassionate for her friends, and won't back down in a fight if they're hurt. This wold isn't very strategic in battle, but will use her abilities and weapons to the best of her advantage. When or if she battles some other creature, she'll figure something out.
History: (Important events BULLET POIIIIINTS~)
*Born (obviously) and lived in a clan of tribal wolves. Mom stayed at home all the time, while her father worked hard every day.
*Upon discovering her power, whole tribe banishes her to she and her parents' dismay.
*After traveling a while, meets Gravity the fox and travels along with him. Big fire storm hits, making her lose a majority of her hair.
*Arriving in Central City, Gravity gets taken in by Tails the fox and Mina the Mongoose. Blade is taken in by Sonic and Amy as adopted parents.

(Friends/Family)
-Aqua the Shark: A known friend to her for almost her whole life, Blade and Aqua are best friends, and they've known each other since they were about 14.
-Gravity the Fox: A fellow ally, Gravity is like a brother to Blade, and the two treat each other like family. They've known each other since they were born in the same place.
-Jacob the Hedgehog: Jacob is an acquaintance/friend of Blade's who taught her and Gravity how to body swap. She doesn't really know much else.
-Tenshi the Chaos Wolf: Her lifelong partner and friend, Tenshi helps Blade in battle, and acts as a friend when there are none. Tenshi was her partner and lifelong friend since birth.
(Foes)
-Dr. Eggman: This is pretty self explanatory.

Other: Nooooone :P

Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups Empty
PostSubject: Re: Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups   Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups EmptySun Feb 08, 2015 4:38 pm

I'm so getting in on this!

Name: Jacob Maltise
Species/Race: Hedgehog
Age: 15
Gender: Male ♂

Universe/World/Roleplay they come from: Mobius
Important Area from that World: Central City, one of the largest cities on Mobius. Jacob has made his home here after moving away from Westopolis a few days earlier.

Appearance: Jacob is a yellow hedgehog with his spines in a hairstyle similar to Amy Rose's, but less feminine. His eyes are green, with a jade tint. His shoes are a cross of Sonic's SA2 soap shoes and Amy Rose's boots, with more emphasis on the Soap shoes than the latter. His body shape is a cross between an echidna and a hedgehog.
Special Abilities and Gear: Jacob has quite a lot of abilities. Being a shapeshifter, these regard changing his form to suit the current situation. But the biggest thing he can do is swap bodies with other people, but he doesn't do this as often as his other abilities. Although he has been known on some occasions to use his Spin Dash and Spin Jump. He can do the Homing Attack as well, but he cannot do it from a long distance. He has a fold-up snowboard for those times he needs to quickly get off a mountain.
Personality: Don't let his name fool you, Jacob is NOT an action adventure movie star. He's really just a sociable, friendly hedgehog who likes to have fun. Although he does sometimes get himself into problems, he will never let any of his friends be hurt by his actions.
History: To be honest, Jacob doesn't know very much about his past. In fact, it hurts him to try and figure out. He doesn't even remember how he got his powers. When he first arrived in Central City a few days before this takes place, he had met Blade the Tribal Wolf and Gravity the Fox. Having taught Blade how to do this, he felt accomplished and actually wouldn't mind teaching Blade or even Gravity a few more things about swapping.
Friends, Family and Foes:
--Friends/Acquaintances--
Blade the Tribal Wolf - A fellow swapper like Jacob is. He taught her how to swap bodies with people. Other than that they don't know each other very much.
Gravity the Fox - He doesn't know much about Gravity aside from what Blade told him. When he taught Blade how to body swap, Gravity was their test subject.
Other: Not really.

PostSubject: Re: Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups   Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups EmptyMon Feb 09, 2015 3:29 am

Done.

Name: Hope
Species/Race: Kirlia
Age: 13 (Age doesn't equal level, you know)
Gender: Female

Universe/World/Roleplay they come from: The Pokémon World (PMD version)
Important Area from that World: Treasure Town.

Appearance: Normal Kirlia coloration, with a red scarf and two white ribbons on her red horns.
Special Abilities and Gear:
-Telepathy: Hope was born with this ability. She can only speak into others' minds though. She can't read them.
-Empathy: She can sense others' emotions, as others in her evolutionary line can.
-Shadow Sneak: A move she inherited from her father. With it, she controls her shadow and uses it to attack opponents.
-Confusion: A small blast of telekinetic power is used to attack.
-Heal Pulse: Hope can heal someone a bit, but it leaves her open for incoming attacks while doing so.
-Draining Kiss: Hope goes up to the opponent and gives them a kiss on the forehead, damaging them and taking 75% of the damage done as health for herself.
Personality: Hope is a kind Pokémon, who loves helping others. She feels bad when surrounded by negative emotions, worse than what is natural for her species. She does her best to do as much good as possible, and enjoys music. Hope treats everyone by who they are. She is very cheerful and positive.
History: Hope has lived in Treasure Town all her life. She wanted to become an explorer ever since she was little. One day she fideded to join Wigglytuff's guild and make an exploration team with her friends Korra the Riolu and Luna the Eevee. Ever since, they have been exploring, helping others, and capturing outlaws. (This is when her life gets weird. This = This Roleplay)
Friends, Family and Foes:
-----Friends-----

Korra The Riolu: One of Hope's two best friends. She has known Hope since they were very little, and thus, can read her like a book. She is serious and quiet, but caring. She is also in the same team as Hope, along with Luna.

Luna the Eevee: Hope's other best friend. She is in the same team as Hope and Korra. She is the most excitable in the team. She is naive, very energetic, and impulsive.

-----Foes-----
Outlaws: Pretty much all the outlaws and bad Pokémon that don't change their bad ways.

Other: I did most of this at 11 pm. Wow. And how does Palkia not know about this world leaping mess? Unless, he was the one to bring Hope to the abandoned city. *Dun, dun, dun!*

Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups Empty
PostSubject: Re: Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups   Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups EmptyMon Feb 09, 2015 2:55 pm

Name: Sea Breeze
Species/Race: Pegasus
Age: 16 pony years
Gender: Female

Universe/World/Roleplay they come from: Equestria (the pony world!)
Important Area from that World: Ponyville (where the show takes place), Canterlot (the capitol, and where the princesses live)

Appearance:
Spoiler:
Light blue body with a darker blue blending near the hooves, with grey eyes and a turquoise and indigo mane.
Special Abilities and Gear: Like all Pegasai, her abilities include cloud manipulation, which means she can push the clouds across the sky, allow them to rain, etc. More obviously, she can fly with her wings. She also wears a scarf she received from Rarity as a departure gift, and wears it with her always.
Personality: Fun-loving and excitable, she can get along with almost anybody. She's not overly annoying, though, and can be serious when necessary. Just like anybody else, she has more emotions that just happiness, and is fairly sensitive. She's not too afraid to defend herself, or do what she thinks is the right thing. She is energetic and will often fly around, as being a messenger pony for Horseshoe Bay requires a lot of nonstop flying.
History: She grew up on the edge of Horseshoe Bay, raised by a sailor pony and a stay-at-home mare worried about her husband's travels. She went to school to learn how to handle rain clouds coming in from the sea and carry them, activate them, and anything else she needed to learn about being a Pegasus, including flying at a younger age. Because of her personality, Sea Breeze naturally became the town's messenger when she was available for a job, gaining freedom to travel all over Equestria to deliver mail from her ruler. One fateful day, she had to deliver a message to Ponyville, coming through to Twilight in order to discuss and write her response. Sea Breeze's hometown was very old fashioned, and didn't deliver messages by way of magic, so she would have to stay until the mayor and Alicorn decided on a response.
During her stay, a party was thrown by Pinkie Pie, who celebrates everything by the way, and ended up meeting everyone in Ponyville, and took a liking to all of the Mane Six; all except for Rarity. While Rainbow Dash begged for her time in teaching her a form of race invented in her home town. Applejack also begged for her time in helping with delivering apples because of Sea Breeze's speed, precision, and stamina with the experience in delivering. Fluttershy also requested Sea Breeze's attention kindly to discuss the ocean animals and how to take care of them, so Fluttershy could expand her care-taking knowledge.
Meanwhile, Rarity grew jealous of the fact Sea knew and spent time with everybody, except for her. She tried desperately to understand why Breeze didn't like her, and failed to talk to the other pony due to Sea's business with the others.
Finally, Twilight decided on a response to the other town, and so Sea Breeze had to leave to return the message, leaving her new friends behind and continue her travels around Equestria and beyond. Before she left, Rarity came through the crowd bidding Sea goodbye in order to give her a departure gift: a black and blue scarf. Sea Breeze loved it, and promised to wear it, and Rarity felt accomplished to making a new friend.
Friends, Family and Foes: Her friends include the Mane Six (aka, all the main character ponies in the show) and some random Ponyville ponies, like Minuette and Derpy Hooves. Her family is just her father and her mother, and she has no siblings or known cousins.
Other: She studies the ocean and its creatures. I didn't know where to put this so meh.

Edit: le map of Equestria
Horseshoe Bay is on the bottom right

Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups Empty
PostSubject: Re: Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups   Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups EmptyMon Feb 09, 2015 9:55 pm

Name: Drottin Fjorlagg Vardmader (Translation from Old Norse: Lord Death the Watcher)
Species/Race: Old God
Age: Very very old.
Gender: Male (?)

Universe/World/Roleplay they come from: The world as you and I know it.
Important Area from that World: The Vatican.

Appearance: He's a black cat... I don't know what else to tell you...

Special Abilities and Gear: For the most part, his powers are extreme limited in his current state. Even when his abilities have been activated, he is able to do very little with them. He has retained the ability to talk and he has telepathic capacities.

Personality: Aloof, Eclectic and Reserved. At times, he has his moments of eccentricity, but for the most part he keeps his cards close to his chest. Being trapped as a cat for millennia has given him an odd outlook on life, and sometimes he will share odd insights. His imprisonment has also made him slightly bitter and jaded. He can, at times, seem sardonic and arrogant. Still, beneath his cold exterior, he feels a deep responsibility for the other Old Gods and holds affection for each of them, even if their Mortals tend to pester him constantly. He considers himself the head of what is left of the Old Gods, whether they accept it or not.

History: As a special punishment by the Norse Gods, Fjorlagg was not changed to a human, but a small black cat. This severely hampered his powers and was especially humorous to the gods. It's said Loki laughed for nine days and nights.

When the Old Gods began to be wiped out, Fjorlagg made the journey from his home in what is now modern day Norway all the way to Egypt. He made his way to Thebes, enlisting the help of the local priests. He was going to make use of the local magic to attempt to change his form to that of a human, so that he could at least be of some use.

However, the work was long and arduous and eventually Islam would sweep into Eygpt like a wildfire. Soon, any practitioners of the old magic that could transformed Fjorlagg where either dead or had fled the country. Fjor found he was now imprisoned in his form, doomed to walk the earth as a feline.

He then traveled to Asia and stayed there for a good amount of time. A large majority of his time was spent in Japan, where he spent his days around the Buddhist temples. Cats are treated with great respect in Japan and here Fjor found a home, far from the influence of the Church. During this time, he absorbed the Eastern spiritual teachings, becoming noticeably more mellow and calm than his younger years.

More recently, he migrated to America with the large influx of Asian immigrants. He has since made his way across the country, largely on a whim, and is now residing on the east coast.

When he could find a mortal who was willing to accept a talking cat as their God, his powers were nearly useless. At best, he can only summon a few spirits. So, he has elected to watch quietly from the background, directing the efforts of the Old Gods and supporting them every once in awhile. Meanwhile, he spends his free time researching any way to free himself and taking long cat naps in the sun.

Fjor also holds a deep rooted grudge against the New Norse Gods for tricking him into his body in the first place. He has vowed, should he ever be released, he will prove the ancient texts wrong. It is written that Ragnarok, the end of the Norse Gods, shall come from the brother of Thor, Loki. Fjorlagg intends to slay Loki first.

Friends, Family and Foes:

-Friends:
• Lucifer: He has become good friends with The Fallen Angel over the years.

• New Gods: The gods you are familiar with. He is particularly hatful of the Norse Gods. Of all the New Gods, one is by far the most powerful in the present age. You may know him as Yaweh, God, or Allah. He and his followers are a dangerous lot.

•Angels and Heros: Servants of the New Gods. These beings pose significant problems for any Old Gods, even when their powers are active.

•Archangels: These are beings of nearly immeasurable power. The Elite of God's agents, they are not to be trifled with. In their current forms, the Old Gods are no match for their powers. If one is encountered, the only option is to turn and run.

-wip-

Name: Nyx Nakotah / Calix Calloway
Species/Race: Human infected with the Artifacts of Grimm
Age: 18/22
Gender:Female/Male

Universe/World/Roleplay they come from: Articles of Grimm
Important Area from that World: The Abandoned Orphanage
Present: A old torn up building, the building is rather large as the building used to be a in-building highschool. The building has many strange holes and pipes that had fallen from the ceiling wandering around. Vents sometimes have fallen as well and rubble and trash litters the place.
Past: Slightly more kept than the present, the past orphanage at least looks more new and clean in the case some official came by to look around.
Both: Have the same rooms as a highschool school but instead of classrooms there are bedrooms. Cafeteria is still the cafeteria and the library had been turned into a "playground" for the younger kids.

Appearance:
first is Nyx Second is Callix:
Special Abilities and Gear:

Grimmoire:  Contains knowledge about the other artifact's from their world's abilities, and methods of nullifying them, basically the manual for the artifacts. Also contains stronger incantations that could not be stored onto the other artifacts, and rituals that can be performed, though they require things to perform them with.

BodySwap:  These characters are both within the same "Body". Each of their consciousness are within the same mind, and are able to speak with each other in their thoughts. Callix is the dominant half, as he can take control of the body and leave it whether Nyx is fine with it or not. He can choose whether she's aware of what's going on outside while he's in control or not. When he is in control, the body will appear as Callix's body and when Nyx is in control, then the body will appear as Nyx's body. They change instantaneous as the person viewing them blinks. If that person does not blink while viewing the two shift control, then they will continue viewing them in the former controller's body until they blink. These two age as their appearance is active, causing them to appear younger than they really

Personality:
Callix: A clever individual that favors having the easy way out even if it comes with risks. If he were to be in school, he would likely be that intelligent kid in class that has F ranked grades throughout his report cards. He's silent unless he feels like talking which is rarely, and tends to make some rather smart alec remarks from time to time. He considers himself responsible for Nyx's well being, safety, and actions.

Nyx:To start off, she isn't as nice as she looks. She doesn't believe anything in a bat of an eye unless its from a reliable source, such as witnessing it herself, talking to someone who were there, or has proof. This is due to believing in the words of the grimoire and being utterly fooled into a completely different thing type of situation due to its strange and tricky wording. She favors having stability in her life, and is always willing to be over-prepared. Because of her favoring being over-prepared, she's tends to be a bit over-confident and can bite off more than she can chew. Other than attempting to be over-prepared in rather important situations, she tends to be a bit selfish inwardly.

History:
The two met at a rather young age at an orphanage with poor conditions and a greedy headmaster. The headmaster didn't quite care for the children, and left them to their will in performing whatever vile and unruly acts they wanted to do. Bullying was frequent, hunger was constant, and the children were really only staying because they thought that if they left, they would merely be put right back here.

The two met when Calix was attempting to steal some food Nyx had managed to find in the dump of a place. He had managed to successfully steal from her, but quickly grew guilty as she began to bawl, being four years younger than him. Somehow, the two ended up becoming friends as he gave the food back, and they began to talk. The two grew close, and ended up declaring each other brother and sister at their young age, well, more like Nyx declared them brother and sister.

After spending a few years in this scenario, simply surviving with each other, they found a rather odd book in the basement of the orphanage. Intrigued by a strange pattern on the cover, they opened the book and began to read about strange spells and mysterious objects. There was a table of contents in the beginning, and but they read every page until they finally grew bored of reading, and left the book there.

A few days later, men in black and white cars with red and blue sirens appeared at the doorstep of the orphanage, and kids began to be escorted out. They had no idea what was going to happen to them, but the "brother and sister" just knew that they didn't want to be separated. Fearing the worst, Nyx decided to take a risk she didn't quite believe would work, but was desperate to try. She found the book once more, untouched from where they had left it, and began gathering objects and trinkets in attempt to complete a "pact" that would apparently bind the two's destiny together forever.

She spoke of this to Calix, but he didn't quite believe it would work. He helped her with the pact formation, as he thought it would probably make her feel more at ease with the police once they were found. The two managed to collect everything they needed in the basement before the police arrived, and began the pact. To no surprise, the pact fulfilled its stated purpose, but not in the way they had expected. They had slipped into a slumber, from what they do not know, but when they had awoke, Nyx found herself unable to move at will, and Callix felt as if there was another presence in his mind.

The two eventually discovered their condition of being in each other's body, and being able to switch between each other. The police had discovered them, and brought them to a proper home, except they thought they were only bringing one person. When Calix tried to explain to them, he was merely sent for mental therapy. Only after he was "cured" did they discover that Nyx could be allowed to take control. The two didn't quite know what to do, but when Nyx had reached the age of being able to live on her own, they left their foster parent's house, no tears being shed on their side since the Foster Parents didn't believe a word Calix had said, only causing a grudge to wedge its way between them, that they returned to the old orphanage and retrieved the book, finding that there was no known cure for this spell...

The two now go about their daily lives, each taking turns for each day, Nyx managing to net a job as a waitress as Callix allows her to be in control most of the time. The grimoire, however, always remained with them, whether in a purse or back-pack. Whatever that grimoire was, the things that were in it were true, yet they couldn't find anything out about it...

Friends, Family and Foes:
Foes: Other kids from the orphanage at one point
Friends: Each other
Family: Nyx considers Callix her big brother.

Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups Empty
PostSubject: Re: Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups   Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups EmptyTue Feb 10, 2015 12:59 am

Name: Robyn Fury

Species/Race: Human/Aura Guardian

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Universe/World/Roleplay they come from: Guardian Story (Pokemon)

Important Area from that World:
(All existing Pokemon regions)
Sendokudama Island- A verdant island in between/south of the Sinnoh and Hoenn Regions. It's slightly bigger than the island that houses the Battle, Survival, and Resort Areas. It's just below the world's Equator, so it has a warm climate year-round. There is a small town, a prestigious Pokemon Academy, a dense forest, and a small amount of farmland all contained within the island's borders.
Survival Area Pit- A giant crater surrounded by forest that houses a village of Hunters. It also houses the Syndicate, which the highest in command of the Hunters call their main base of operations. Hunters often train in the surrounding areas.
Lostlore Sound- A huge expanse of icy water far in the frozen North, above the Sinjoh Ruins. It is loosely connected to the ocean, and it encircles a landmass covered in bitter mountains made of solid rock and ice.
Lostlore Gateway- A mountain range located within the Lostlore Sound, connected by a small ice bridge to Capital Point. The Mountains within the range are some of the tallest and coldest in the world.
Capital Point- A mountain-and-water encompassed plateau that houses The Aura Council, the head of the entire Aura Guardian society. The Council's bilding is surrounded entirely by a splendid militarized city where many Aura Guardians live.
Guardian Mountain- A huge mountain smack-dab in the center of Lostlore Gateway; the tallest in the entire range. Much Aura Guardian lore speaks of this mountain, as does much creation myth. There is a temple to Arceus at the mountain's peak.

Appearance: Robyn has long, dark-blue hair that hangs down to her kneecaps. She has no bangs, and usually keeps her hair either smoothed back or tied in a ponytail. Her eyes are a gradient that starts as a light blue on the outside and gets darker closer to the pupil. When she is not wearing armor, Robyn's attire consists of a grey, button-up, collared shirt (which is only ever buttoned halfway up) layered over a black mid-drift tank-top, worn with a pair of dark-blue skinny jeans that have been torn and are missing most of the right leg. She carries the Phasma Spear strapped across her back, bot in and out of armor.

Special Abilities and Gear:
Aura Control- Ability to control the aura.
Retribution Aura- A special colored Aura. It burns gold, and is the rawest of raw energy.
Pariah Armor- (only in world of origin) A special kind of heavily condensed aura that resists nearly all elements and can even reflect some attacks. It is all black in color.
Phasma Spear- A long staff rumored to be a cataclysmic weapon of lore. It is made of golden metal and gunmetal, and built into it is a light blue gem called the "Sancti Orb."

Personality:Robyn has a firey temper and a will that cannot be tamed. She has been hardened from combat and bloodshed, but she still exhibits boundless energy and a free spirit. She's rather fun-loving when she's not being a hardass.

History: Robyn's parents were a rich couple who thought of themselves and only themselves. They despised Aura Guardians like Robyn's older brother Markus, (at the time the group known as the Hunters had no face and practically didn't exist) and they tried to confine Robyn to a closed world in which she would do nothing but become heir to their company. They tried to keep the two siblings as far apart as possible, so for a time Markus was nothing to Robyn except a faceless older relative. The two met in secret, however, and slowly formed a very tight relationship. Robyn began to exhibit the ability to control aura after a time, and she decided to ask her brother if he would tutor her. Robyn and Markus's parents refused to let two Guardians live in their home, and began to try and force Robyn out of her decision. This made Robyn and Markus decide to leave their parent's household, and Markus assumed responsibility over Robyn.
Markus moved Robyn to Sendokudama Island, where they lived in a farmhouse in a clearing in the woods. While she was still young, Robyn began attending the academy on the island. Starting at age 13, Robyn began honing and harnessing her aura abilities. About a year and a half into her aura training, Robyn and her brother discovered that Robyn had a colored Aura within her, a golden Aura called the Retribution Aura. Colored auras hadn't been reported for a very long time in the Guardian community, so it was quite the strange development. The Retribution aura was too much for Robyn's body to handle at the time, and she would pass out whenever it activated. Markus kept this colored aura a secret from his Guardian superiors.
When Robyn was age 17, Markus was called on an expedition trip to Guardian Mountain, to investigate an odd meteor crash that had just happened recently. He took Robyn along with him as his pupil. While there, Robyn took a long tumble into the crater and discovered an egg at the center of the impact site. The egg appeared to be in stasis and therefore unhatchable, but the Council still decided to allow Robyn to keep it and raise it in case exposure to other life forms changed things. The egg did eventually hatch (although Markus and Robyn never reported this) into a shiny Arceus, who Robyn nicknamed Kin after a few days of deliberation. The siblings original plan was to raise the young god and then set it free, but Kin did not want to leave. He seemed to sense that there was something strange happening to the natural order, and his very existence seemed to prove this correct. Though Robyn had no weapon and was only so skilled, he stuck with her, very loyal to their bond of friendship.
When she was 18, Robyn discovered a strange rod in a seaside cavern on one of Sendokudama's nearby shores. She then found a blade-shaped brace and a strange orb all nearby, and when brought together the three items created the Phasma Spear, a weapon that had been split up and cast down to earth by Arceus himself in legend. It was supposedly a weapon capable of apocalyptic power, but the most Robyn could do with it at the time was use it to beat petty theives. Whatever power she sensed inside it was something she couldn't grasp, something she couldn't harnass. Having a conduit to bend her Aura through made things a lot easier for Robyn, however, and she decided to keep the weapon as her staff.
Robyn left her home on the island that year with Kin (who disguised himself as a golden-colored Eevee to avoid attracting attention) to start her solo training period as a fledgling Aura Guardian. Robyn had been on a rebellious streak againsts the code of the Guardians and their liberal views for a long time beforehand, however, giving her quite a notorious name by the time she left. Many other fledgling Guardians would confront and even attack her upon seeing her. Rapidly growing tensions between Guardians and the newly-returning Hunter groups made Robyn expect to be attacked by members of their group as well, but none ever did confront her.
Robyn soon arrived at the Survival Zone, where she found an escort in one Jack Proulx. He had agreed to help guide her through Mt. Stark, a well-known volcano standing between the Survival Zone and the Resort Zone. Jack was initially none too pleased about helping an Aura Guardian, being a hunter himself (as Robyn soon learned), but that didn't stop him from being curious about the rumors about her. The two shared a short-lived rivalry that eventually led to them hitting it off.
While trekking through the volcano, Robyn and Jack were ambushed by a group of thugs who were looking to steal from unsuspecting travelers. Robyn ended up getting Jack out of a tight spot, though suffering some wounds and accidentally unleashing her golden aura in the process. With no control over it, it quickly knocked her out and also caused her nose to bleed profusely. Jack brought her back to the Survival Area Pit after that, where she woke up a few days later.
While she recovered, Robyn stayed in the Hunter village. There, she learned the extent of the bloodshed and damage being wrought by the ever-escalating war between the Guardians and the Hunters. She met another hunter named Dominic, who revealed himself to her as a rogue Guardian working for the Hunters. He gave her first-hand accounts of the corruption within the Council's higher ranks which she knew nothing about. A few days later, Robyn experienced a real Guardian-versus-Hunters fight. After that two-day brawl, Robyn found herself conflicted, trying to find an answer on how to solve the problem. She decided to join the Hunters and help them in their attempts to overthrow the Guardians.
As the fighting went on, the corruption got worse. The world's energy grew more and more volatile. As it did, the Pokemon and people who lived in and harnessed that energy all began to notice it's effects. Fire burned hotter and more destructively, weather became more harsh; plants began to both die and overgrow. Both Hunters and Aura Guardians began developing more ways of harnessing the raging energy, trying to unleash it on each other. The world began a great collapse into a state of turmoil, and even the Legendary Pokemon could not resist it. And at the center of it all was the ever-raging strife between the Hunters and the Guardians.

Friends, Family and Foes:
-Friends-
Kin- Robyn's only Pokemon, a young shiny Arceus who hatched from an egg in Robyn's home. He believes her to be his mother figure early in his life, but with time the two become war-hardened friends.
Dominic (Nic) Bonfils- An Aura Guardian gone rouge who works for the Hunters; the first of his kind. He was originally Robyn's stalker doing investigative work on the topic of Robyn. Once, he was Jack Poulx's partner. He lives in the Survival Area Pit, where he first encountered Robyn face-to-face. Nic is in control of a colored Aura, the Plasma Aura. This Aura is bright yellow and when activated it's appearance takes the form of an electrified tongue of fire. It increases the speed, strength, and stamina of the wielder, and is also very volatile when used in combat. Nic's staff weapon is called "Magnitis Kyma," and is a segmented bowstaff held together by the fragments of a powerful magnetic orb called "Magnitikos". It can be used as a whole, separated into smaller sections, or it can be used as a whip.
Arizona Fate- A Brigadier-ranked Hunter who specializes in sky combat. She has no special powers or Aura capability to speak of, but she is very good with technology. She uses two large jets that run with compressed air to fly without aid of powers or a Pokemon. These jets double as high-powered air guns; one shot from said guns can rend flesh and shatter bone.
Jack Proulx- A mid-ranked Hunter and one of Robyn's closest friends (#shipping). He originally disliked Aura Guardians, but after escorting Robyn through a volcano he found she was tolerable as a person. As she transitioned her allegiance between Aura Guardians and Hunters, he looked out for her.

-Family-
Markus (Markie) Fury- Robyn's older brother, who introduced her to Aura Bending and took her to Sendokudama when she was very young to raise her. He has the same eye and hair color as Robyn. He is an Aura Guardian, but he is not a firm believer in the Aura Guardian morals. He senses that there is something corrupt within them. He tries his best to encourage Robyn to make her own choices, and tries to offer her every opportunity to do so. He wields a wooden-and-iron staff called "Mentapertem," which holds a spherical gem called "Summa Inanis." Unbeknownst to anyone but himself, Mark wields a colored aura called the "Suffocation Aura." It is jet-black and has a hazy appearence. It is basically the absence of Aura, and it has the ability to negate/counter/erase aura, including colored aura.

-Foes-
Laure Blair- A high-ranking Aura Guardian who is often sent after Robyn. She is much stronger than even Guardians in the class above hers, and she bears a colored aura. Her colored Aura is called the "Supercell Aura", and when activated it manifests into a condensed storm. It is blue-grey in color and has the potential to alter the weather. It can also turn the user's body into a storm. Laure's staff is a parasol called the "Ceivoix Staff", and it is spearheaded by a portion of a smaller orb called "Stratosteau".
Cari (cah-ree) Blair- Laure's adopted little sister, who is actually the lost younger sister of Dominic. They were separated at a very young age, leaving her with little to no memory of him. She is very attached to Laure, and tries to act like she believes everything Laure believes. She rarely every leaves Laure's side. Like Laure, Cari also controls a colored aura. Cari's Aura is called the "Soul Aura," which is a deep purple in color. When activated, it looks like a bundle of thin ribbons. It has no combative capabilities of it's own, but it can be used to override and control other auras. It cannot be negated as simply as other auras when it is being used. Cari's staff weapon is a parasol like Laure's known as the "Vensonore Staff." The two were created as sister weapons, and when used together they become more effective. The other part of the "Stratosteau" orb is fastened to this parasol staff.

Other: Might have Kin accompany her, but while in other universes he'll be trapped as an Eevee xD

Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups Empty
PostSubject: Re: Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups   Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups EmptyTue Feb 10, 2015 9:47 pm

Alright here we go.

Rezikun-As long as you have him be weaker than he is in his history, like no taking on armies by himself in this RP. Also if you could limit the sword a bit, maybe not have it unlocked to its full potential, but as the RP goes along it can get unlocked a bit more.

Savato-Looks good, though a bit more description of the important area from the world would be appreciated. Approved.

Haley-It's your choice on where to go, or you could just incorporate the Ghost Zone as a part of Amity Park. Also some more description of the area might be good for those who don't know Danny Phantom. Approved.

Moon-Alright, looks to be in order now. Same thing as Jeff, just don't abuse the shapeshifting to extremes. Approved.

Jeff-As long as you don't abuse the shapeshifting to extremes and put some limitations on it, looks good. And a description of Central City would be good too. Approved.

Star-Alright, it looks good. Approved. I'd ask for a description for Treasure Town, but let's be honest, PMD forum. I think we know for the most part. If you'd like to throw it in though that would be okay.

Mew-If you could give some descriptions of the area, that would be nice. Everything else looks to be in order though. Approved.

Jax-Everything looks good, if you could give just a general description of the Vatican that might be nice. Approved.

Kat-Looks good to me. If you could just describe the orphanage a bit more that would be good though. Approved.

Fox-Everything looks to be in order, just remember what I mentioned to you about Robin and Kin already. If you're going to use Kin, have him stuck as an Eevee, also your idea of having everyone get armor in her world sounds good. Approved.

Alright, now it's come to my attention that we're all a bit split on what we want to do with this roleplay. Some people want it to be on the lighter side and easy to go through, while others would like it to be a bit darker and harder. So, everyone here, if you could all send me a PM and tell me what you would prefer, I'll get to figuring out the separate groups to split up into. Depending on how many people go for what, we may have two or three groups to split into.

Also, my bio.

Name: Shannon Ripley.
Species/Race: Human.
Age: 23.
Gender: Male.

Universe/World/Roleplay they come from: The Dresden Files.
Important Area from that World: Boston-A melting pot of the supernatural, this city has groups of practically any big-name mythical force, namely Vampires of three different varieties, ghosts, both the Summer and Winter court of Faeries, Werewolves, and a Warden of the White Council of Wizards. Due to the constant warring of the Summer and Winter Courts being stronger here, the area is prone to extreme and serious shifts in weather at times. The Vampires and Wizards are also at war at the time, and every group in the city has their own play and endgame in mind. All of this makes for Boston to be a fairly dangerous place, and to top it off, most humans aren’t in the know on the supernatural, and have no idea that this is going on. The only neutral grounds in the city is the Boston Commons, a park.

Appearance: Standing at roughly 5’3” tall, Ripley is somewhat on the shorter side of the size spectrum. He has a lighter complexion and bright red hair that falls about midway down his neck, with bangs somewhat in his eyes. It’s usually unkempt, as he isn’t one to put a whole lot of work into brushing it, or just taking simple care of it. His eyes are a blue color, and he has a tattoo of a somewhat cartoonish sun prominently displayed on his left cheek, which he received once he was chosen as an emissary of the summer court. Ripley has a somewhat athletic build from his time spent training with Goldilocks and running from others. For clothing, he wears dark blue jeans and a hooded black long-sleeve shirt, with a plain orange t-shirt over it. On his head he has a black winter baseball cap, with a back that can be folded down to cover his ears, and on his feet he wears black sneakers. If the weather is warm, he’ll take his long sleeve shirt off and just stick with his t-shirt and tie the long-sleeve around his waist.

Special Abilities and Gear: Being an Emissary of Goldilocks, a faerie of the Summer Court(yes, that Goldilocks), Ripley has access to Fire and Earth based magic, staple abilities of the Summer Court. Fire magic is easier for him to use on a whim, while Earth magic requires more preparation and discipline. Both magical abilities may be harder to use in other worlds at first, since his sponsor isn't in the same world as him at those times. He also carries a Revolver Magnum he stole during a job for an “ally” of sorts.

Personality: Brash, independent and impulsive, Ripley is a passionate character. Not letting any laws or rules get in the way of what he wants to do, he’s very much so somebody who would always prefer things are done his way. Of course, this has caused some issues, considering he now has to work under the rules of the Supernatural Community and the Summer Court. Even despite that, though, he continues to be as independent as he can be. Ripley is a kleptomaniac, and often has a hard time resisting the urge to steal from people and places around him, which has gotten into more than a few bad situations. Another urge he has a hard time controlling is his anger, usually provoked if somebody mocks him, uses his first name, or otherwise screws him over somehow. He’s been working on his temper, but he’s been having difficulties. Another way to get him mad is seeing somebody in a position of power beating up, figuratively or literally, on somebody who can’t fight back and doesn’t deserve it in his eyes, having been in that position in his younger life. Being impulsive, he’s prone to doing things without thinking, which also has caused several problems before. He’s a pragmatic sort of person, willing to forgo any sort of honor to get the upper hand in a situation. He also has a tendency to not ask questions and get right to doing things.

History: Ripley’s mother was a simple street thief who lived on the docks, getting by through stealing from various passing citizens of Boston, and the Wolfpack, the local mafia based around the docks. This was fairly dangerous for her, especially since she was in the know on the supernatural, but she needed to do it to sustain herself, especially after she ended up pregnant with Ripley. The father skipped out on them shortly after, leaving her to take care of her son alone.

Shannon Ripley was named as such for a reason, though his mother didn’t tell him why until later on. His mother left her stealing for the night at this point, and spent her time taking care of Ripley during the day. As he got older, she began to steal more often to support themselves, leaving him on his own to wander around the docks. He made a handful of friends, and often got into trouble with other kids, some his age and some older. Some of this was a result of them making fun of his first name, saying that Shannon was a girl’s name. He wasn’t happy about the mockery. Usually this trouble ended with fighting, and Ripley was normally on the receiving end of the beating, not being the physically strongest kid around. His mom would often have to take care of him, and she would tell him that she named him Shannon with the purpose of strengthening him while he was young, and teaching him self control.

As he became older, he began to learn the tools of the trade from his mom, learning how to pick locks, stay calm under pressure and keeping hidden. He began to accompany her in her endeavors, and helped her steal on multiple occasions. Finally, at a time where she went off on her own, his mother was caught by the police and arrested. She told them where Ripley was so that they could put him into foster care, which they did. This was a hard transition for him to make, as he lost contact with the only family he had really had, and was stuck with various other strangers. Eventually, around the time he was 9, he was taken in by a family of regular humans and grew up with them, continuing his stealing habits but not getting caught. He grew close to his foster family and keeps in touch with them, while he tries to stay in touch with his mother, but can’t always.

One night when he was 21 years old, Ripley broke into a fairly run-down apartment in town and managed to steal some money and other items from there, believing he hadn’t been seen. When he returned home to his own apartment, however, he found that it seemed as if somebody had been there. More specifically, somebody had been in his chair, and somebody had eaten his food, and as he found out, somebody was sleeping in his bed. A woman explained herself as Goldilocks, the same one from the fairy tales, and commended Ripley for his theft of her apartment, telling him that if she were a regular human, he would have succeeded.

She went on to explain the supernatural, about how the world worked, about Vampires, Werewolves, Ghosts, Faeries, Faith and all other sorts of information. It was all a lot to take in, but between what his mother had told him when he was younger, and the impressive proof Goldilocks was able to provide, he found himself believing her. Goldilocks herself was a Faerie of the Summer Court, and apparently one of the least regarded Faeries there. For that reason, she wanted somebody to be her Emissary, to help make people listen and act on her behalf. She would grant Ripley some of the powers of the Summer Court, if he in return would act on her behalf in matters, and let her live in his apartment with him. He accepted, and she would go on to live with him.

Over the next year, Ripley became accustomed to the world of the supernatural, and was taught by Goldilocks how to make good use of the magical abilities he had acquired from his allegiance with the Summer Court, in addition to also being taught in the art of stealth, as Goldilocks had some good ability in breaking and entering. As the year went on, Ripley quickly found what his status was with the Summer Court, and the other factions around the city. Goldilocks may not have been regarded the best, but being her Emissary made him the laughing stock of both the Summer Court, and basically the whole supernatural community there. He put up with it though, used to mockery from his days of being made fun of by other kids for having Shannon as his name.

As a test after one year, Goldilocks had him steal a shipment of unknown supplies from the docks, the territory of the Wolfpack. Ripley obliged, and nearly managed to make it out with the shipment crate, before being caught by Aries, the leader of the mafia-like Wolfpack. Aries had some sympathy for him, knowing about his situation and his early life, and let him go to continue on his way. After some encounters with the Winter Court, Ripley managed to get the shipment to Goldilocks successfully, passing her test. When wondering what exactly the shipment was, Goldilocks revealed it to be porridge. Ripley was not amused.

Time passed, and he continued to uphold his duties as the charge of Goldilocks, and as a thief. Hearing word of a good score to be found in a local warehouse, Ripley went to investigate, and found himself meeting local police officer Tom Yoshi. He had been told that there would be a thief there, and nearly arrested Ripley before the two were ambushed by the Winter Court. Tom and Ripley worked together to escape and defeat those who attacked them, and found that they were both set up by the Winter Court, as both were part of the Summer Court. They came to have a respect for one another, and Tom let Ripley go. The two occasionally meet up to discuss problems with the Winter Court and around the city in general.

After this, a case involving the murder of a higher-up member of the Summer Court brought Ripley, Tom, and Aries together, along with another compatriot, practitioner Mio Mio. An immigrant from Italy who Aries brought over, Ripley had met Mio before once and attempted to steal from the man, who specialized in Wind Magic and Potion Making, specifically love potions. Using his strongest potion on Ripley, the thief was out of it for weeks to come, and upon regaining his senses was met with several voice mails from strangers thanking him for their time together. He never forgave Mio afterwards.

Despite this, the four, who all knew each other, came together and worked to solve the case, getting involved in multiple instances of mishaps and dumb luck. Midway through the case, Ripley has found himself in a completely new place, an abandoned town…

Friends, Family and Foes:
-Goldilocks - Ally - Ripley’s sponsor and a Faerie of the Summer Court. She seems to be fairly good-natured and helpful, but she’s still a Faerie, always looking to make a deal to benefit herself, and while no Faerie can lie, she can still twist her words around to manipulate. He views her as an ally, but is wary of considering her as anything more.
-Aries – Ally – The leader of the Wolfpack, Boston’s own mafia-style organization made up of werewolves. They’ve worked together on things after the fact, but while Aries seems to sympathize with Ripley, the feeling isn’t mutual.
-Tom Yoshi – Friend – Another member of the Summer Court and a changeling(specifically half-human-half-pixie), Tom is a Police Officer in the Boston area, and the only police officer in the know on supernatural occurrences. They began to respect each other, although they disagreed with each other’s lifestyles, and would be considered more of a friend to Ripley than any others here.
-Mio Mio – Ally – A childish character who Aries brought over to Boston from Italy, Mio is a practitioner of magic who specializes in wind magic and potion making, specifically favoring love potions. Making love potions breaks the rules of magic, but he doesn’t care for the rules and hasn’t been caught yet. Ripley wants nothing to do with Mio and has not forgiven him, even though Mio seems thrilled to work together with Shannon, as he calls him, having fun with it.
-The Winter Court of Faeries – Foes – Other than the fact that Winter and Summer are doomed to be enemies forever due to how the seasons occur, Ripley specifically has done a few things to anger the opposing Court. One of which includes the kidnapping, interrogating and killing of a higher up Faerie in the Court. Ripley still says the killing part was an accident. He forgot the Faerie was in the trunk when he attempted to rear-end a Vampire into a wall at full speed. Whenever Ripley has something even semi-important to get done, the Winter Court locals tend to work to impede his progress.
-The Black Court of Vampires – Foes – In addition to their occasional partnership with the Winter Court, Ripley has also managed to anger them personally as well. In line with the previous example, during said interrogation, four Black Court Vampires came to investigate, and discovered Ripley and his allies in the act. The group proceeded to defeat the group in a fairly one-sided battle, on their own turf, and they haven’t forgotten this.
Note: I say Ally instead of friend because they don’t consider each other to be friends, or at least one side doesn’t consider the other a friend, but they have a habit of working together.

Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups Empty
PostSubject: Re: Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups   Interdimensional Roleplay Sign-Ups EmptyThu Feb 12, 2015 10:56 pm

Name: Blythe Lochelia
Species/Race: Human Mage
Age: 14
Gender: Female

Universe/World/Roleplay they come from: Eleutheria (Currently nonexistant RP)
Important Area from that World: Altus - A large city built on and into the slopes of a mountain, buildings lining the mountainside. It overlooks the rest of Eleutheria and is renowned for it's beautiful views. Those who want to make themselves stronger often move here so they have easier access to train on the mountain's peaks. Eleutheria's monarchy also lives here in a large castle tower named Altus Keep. Located in the southwest of Eleutheria, the ELES HQ is also located here.

Appearance: Blythe has short, dark brown hair and deep green eyes. She is fairly short in height, even for a fourteen year old and as a result it actually makes her look younger than she is. Blythe most often wears colourful shirts of varying patterns and leggings (or other form-fitted trousers) usually a deep blue colour. She almost always wears a military coat, black in colour with a deep purple trim on the edges, which serves as the only part of the 'uniform' she has to wear as part of her job.

Special Abilities and Gear:

Shadow Magic
A very versatile form of darkness based magic that allows it's user to generate and both attack with and take the form of shadows. One of it's main weaknesses is speed of the opposing user. If someone is faster than the mage using this magic, then they can catch them outside of their intangible form and launch a counterattack. Without speed on their side, shadow magic can easily overwhelm a novice opponent mage.

General Abilities

  • Intangibility - The user can fade themselves into an intangible shadow form and use it to dodge and attack swiftly and easily. They can either hide within a shadow form, or just become shadow-like and intangible.
  • Shadow Solidification - The user can solidify shadows they produce to create makeshift shields, weapons and the like. Most shadow mages cannot achieve a shadow any harder than stone due to a shadow's natural intangibility.
  • Shadow Slicer - The user can generate tangible shadows with the power to slice through objects and the like. Though they can be used as small, precise 'blades' Blythe often uses them in large clusters reminiscent to a whirlwind, which is probably why she ends up destroying so much.

Special Abilities
  • *Secret Technique: Shadow Pitfall - Developed (and named) by Blythe herself, this involves creating a shadow which even those who are not a wielder of shadow magic, and physical objects, can fall through and/or into. It is almost solely used to prank others or hide things, as Blythe is not yet confident enough to use it effectively in battle. She hopes to develop it so that it works almost like a portal, the victim falling through one side and coming out somewhere else, but she currently isn't sure how to achieve this. As a result, the inside of the pitfall currently acts almost like a tiny pocket dimension.
  • Key: *Incomplete spell

Personality:
If Blythe were to be described in two words, it would be energetic and immature. Though she holds a position in the E.L.E.S(Eleutheria Law Enforcement Service), she is well known amongst it's few mages for being rather childish, which isn't all that surprising since she's only 14. Others often look down on her because of her young age, but she doesn't seem to mind, or at the very least doesn't show that she does. Blythe shows a lot of pride and confidence in her skills and one of the things she doesn't tolerate is when people look down on her magical ability. One to be cheerful most of the time, Blythe doesn't let little things bother her and will try to cheer up others when they are down, though she is also known for causing trouble in the ELES building when she is bored.

History:
Born into a family that hadn't wanted a child and didn't have the resources to take care of her, Blythe was regarded as a curse rather than a blessing and as a result was all but ignored. Around age 2, Blythe ended up wandering off by chance, her parents not paying enough attention to her in Sumire City's marketplace and as a result she ended up lost in the city's vast streets. In her young curiosity, Blythe clambered into a traveller's trailer and was carried outside the confines of the city before she realised what was going on. The traveller passed through multiple small towns and villages on their way back to their hometown before they even realised Blythe was there, and found her sleeping in the trailer having eaten some of the food that had been left there.
Unable to be angry at the small child, the traveller attempted to find out where she had come from, but Blythe couldn't really name or accurately describe which place. Instead the woman asked who her parents were, to which Blythe chose to say that she didn't have any. After all, her parents had never really been parents to her, just people with whom she lived.
Taking pity on her, the traveller said she could stay with her in her house just outside the eastern town of Garmina until she figured out what she wanted to do. The traveller introduced herself as Arwen and as time went on, pretty much adopted Blythe as her own. Over time, Arwen revealed herself to be a mage. She had chosen to live this close to the eastern border of Eleutheria so that she was less likely to fall onto the E.L.E.S's radar, though she never voiced this fact to Blythe. The people of Garmina knew her as a mage and would sometimes call upon her for help, respecting her and in return keeping her secret. Intrigued by the idea of magic, Blythe asked Arwen to teach her how to do the same. It took much tenacity on Blythe's part, but eventually Arwen agreed and began to teach Blythe how to use Shadow Magic.
Over the next few years, Arwen taught Blythe the basics of Shadow Magic. Though it can't be said that Blythe was always the model student (due to her constant pranking of Arwen using her newly gained intangible form), Blythe definitely tried her best to take in Arwen's advice and tutelage, taking to magic like a fish to water.

(Ima do the rest in rough bullet points so it's here and I can finish this bio quick |D)
- A magical creature attacked Garmina and Arwen used her magic to help the townspeople escape and defeat the creature.
- Shortly after however, Arwen fell ill and though Blythe tried to get the townspeople to help it was painfully obvious (to them anyways) that Arwen was going to pass away from the illness.
- Members of the ELES came to Garmina after hearing about how a shadow mage had protected the town, aiming to take the mage into custody. As Arwen was bedridden, they instead found Blythe.
- Though Blythe didn't want to leave Arwen, she knew that her mentor was in no fit state to leave and so said that she was the shadow mage in order to protect Arwen.
- Blythe was taken into custody by the ELES and ended up being employed by their mage division(rather than being sent to prison or executed) because of how young she was, the ELES hoping to keep tabs on her and her magic through this arrangement.
- Here she became quite overwhelmed with the pressure to perform well due to her tenuous position and young age. She found that most of the other ELES officers looked down on her because of her age and it was at this point that she met Wesley Wolfe.
- Wolfe seemed to notice this and told her that she doesn't need to impress anyone and that she should just be herself and do her best. As a result, Blythe became rather attached to Wolfe and prefers to work alongside him than anyone else.

Friends, Family and Foes:
  • Wesley Wolfe -
  • Arwen -
  • Other ELES Employees -

Other:
Fun Fact: Blythe never does paperwork properly and as a result no one bothers to ask her to do it any more. In fact her paperwork is allocated to other E.L.E.S members to prevent more paperwork as a result of her messing up her paperwork. Interestingly Blythe's recklessness is probably one of the leading causes for extra paperwork in the first place.
