| First topic message reminder :- Mission Details:
https://pmd-roleplay.forumotion.org/t2947-i-wasn-t-showing-off-e» Client: Pidgeotto » Objective: Bring back Peitlil! » Place: Icicle Woods » Restrictions: None » Difficulty: E » Reward: 200 poke + Foe-Fear orb » Expiration: 2 Months after last attempt. » Exploration Points: 15
The eternally frozen Icicle Woods were a beautiful sight, one that would look great in a picture. However, most would likely find that it didn't feel quite as nice as it looked, what with the low temperature. Of course, this meant nothing to Ice Types who could ignore if not enjoy the cold weather and fully enjoy the sights available. Though one particular Ice Type found it difficult to enjoy the area even with the typing advantage. Too many bad memories. It seemed like every time Sova the glaceon came to the Icy Lands something awful happened to him. So why was he here? It was surely because he had a mission. It was as simple as that. This mission had a good reward and was in an environment easy for him to handle, that was all there was to it. No underlying meaning, he assured himself. But what if there was? He couldn't help but feel that he'd come here for a different reason that he was denying. Perhaps hoping to find some closure. Or maybe to face his demons. Maybe he just wanted to prove to some invisible force that he wasn't weak and cowardly. Or maybe he was just feeling extremely confused for no reason. (27 energy. NINJA EDIT.)

| The hound looked off into the direction the Glaceon had said Furnace Peak was in, but instead of walking off to go look for his own territory, he began to follow the ice type. His head hung low with his ears still pinned behind his head as he followed the footsteps of Sova. He was not to leave the new boss until dismissed or some kind of gesture of obvious dismissal was made, it was how he was freed from his old pack. The leader had gotten sick of him, and left him alone in the world to do as he pleased. The hound didn't complain, he could do whatever he wanted, except not now...for now the Glaceon was boss. | |

| For a moment, Sova felt relief. Hope that he could go back to being alone calmed him, as company had proven time and time again to simply not work out well for him. Ever. Then the sounds of pawsteps behind him made him stop and turn his head to see....the houndour, following him. "Um....I said Furnace Peak's that way. Do....you need something?" He questioned, again pointing in the general direction of the desert region, this time with his tail. Why was the houndour following him? Better yet, why did he look so gloomy? Not only had he been spared, he'd even been saved. What was there to be upset about? Losing a fight? | |

| "I lost," the houndour stated bluntly, resisting the urge to give an agitated sigh, "You're boss now, I have to follow you until you either die or dismiss," The hound spoke, looking up from the ground to see the glaceon. Something behind the Glaceon caught his eye, a looming figure that seemed to be holding a glowing arm over the Glaceon, "BEHIND YOU BOOAHWAWA" the hound had interrupted his own words as a jet of flames burst from his maw and collided with the creature that had been about to attack the Glaceon. The abamasnow cried out as flames burned into its...whatever it was coated in. | |

| Sova tilted his head in confusion at the houndour, preparing to shrug the comment off and allow the hound to follow him, when his apparent new companion abruptly shouted, followed by a breath of fire. For a moment, he thought the attack was aimed at him, that this houndour was trying to go for round two, but as he followed the flames with his head, he realized what was going on. A slightly barbecued abomasnow was all the explanation he needed. "Huh....thanks." He commented to the hound, a bit surprised by what had just happened. The most surprising thing about it all to him was how something as large as an abomasnow could have possibly managed to sneak up on him. Ninja Tree. Speaking of Ninja Tree, it still needed to be taken care of. Turning to face the thing that had tried to whack him from behind, he fired a beam of icy goodness at it. | |

| The abamasnow yelled in pain, but did not seem to be affected by the Ice Beam as much as the flamethrower. Zera leaped to take a bite out of the Abamasnow, only to be whacked aside harshly and thrown into a tree. The hound managed to not black out this time, but his shoulder did not quite appreciate the pain, and made it difficult for him to move. The hound snarled at the opponent, before releasing another pillar of flames, not noticing a Weavile lurking behind the trees, out of his sight. | |

| This behemoth was eating their attacks so far, seeming to feel them but clearly able to take it all. Sova began trying to think of a strategy for beating it, thinking it would be easier than trying to brute-force their way to victory, when a sound behind caught his attention. He turned just in time to see a weavile, before being knocked off his feet by it. Though it didn't really feel like an attack, he still quickly stood back to his feet, ready to fight. The weavile was just getting back to its feet as well, landing near him. It seemed it had accidentally bumped into him....
"S-sorry, sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going!" The weavile frantically spoke. The glaceon would have been more suspicious, had he known this cunning weavile was lurking, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
"It's fine, get out of here! It's dangerous!" Sova begrudgingly pardoned the weavile, being more worried about handling the imminent threat than chewing out someone for not looking where they were going. The weavile ran off and the glaceon returned his focus to the battle without another thought....
....Completely unaware that his only meaningful possession in the world, his necklace, was gone.

| The hound's pillar of flames burned into the abananasnow's fur(?), the beast roaring in rage as he attempted to shield himself from the flames. Zera moved to try and jump onto the beast, hoping to latch onto its throat with a Thunder Fang. However the injured shoulder complained and fought against his jump, causing him to flinch and stumble before he could jump. He instead latched onto the beast's side, causing it to cry out. The beast was electrocuted, but instead of knocking off the pain in the side, he glared to the Glaceon, guessing that he was going to try something and moved to use Brick Break on it. | |

| I'mabanaaaaaaana....snow.
Sova tilted his head and gave a confused and worried look as the Winter Groot obamasnow completely ignored the houndour latching onto it, instead focusing its attention on HIM. "Oooh that's not good...." He muttered to himself as the behemoth approached him.
The arm came down on him, slamming into the ground and knocking up a flurry of snow. When the snow cleared and the living Christmas tree lifted its arm, there was no glaceon in sight. "I believe you're looking for me." He commented from behind the enemy, waiting for it to turn and show its face before firing an Ice Beam, aiming for the mouth.

| The abomasnow gave another bellow as the ice beam struck his mouth, but failed to freeze his mouth shut. The ice type wiped frost off of his mouth before reaching down and grabbing Zera, squeezing the hound until he was forced to yelp and release the christmas tree. Zera struggled in the ice type's grip, trying to bite into his hand again to force himself to be released. He failed, and instead was just pitched like a baseball towards the glaceon. Meanwhile the weavile had decided to stick around to watch the show. | |

| Sova's ears flattened as the abomasnow seemed to simply ignore his attack yet again, then used his ally as a projectile weapon. Despite his better judgement saying to just avoid the "attack", his morality won out and he let the houndour hit him, bracing himself for impact in the hopes of stopping any serious damage from coming to his ally. He ducked his head down and just as he was about to close his eyes in preparation for the impact....he noticed something.... All sounds around him seemed to fade away, he could hear only his own heartbeat. His vision seemed focused on his own chest, as if it was all he could see and he couldn't look away even if he tried. His panicked mind had trouble developing any coherent thoughts. Time seemed to stop for just a moment.
His necklace was gone.
The glaceon opened his bag and took a moment to search for a particular item, the thought of knocking himself to the ground to help someone else now having left his mind entirely. He needed to find his necklace, now. He began frantically looking around, though the only thing he spotted at a glance was the abomasnow. He'd decided that surely, this thing had taken his necklace. He would have to beat it to a bloody pulp then force it to tell him where his necklace was. He still oddly couldn't hear, or perhaps he was just blocking out all of the noises of the world, since they were far less important to him than his necklace.
His heartbeat sped up and his fur bristled and froze instinctively as he retrieved an orb from his bag and smashed it into the ground ground, creating a powerful shock wave. Maybe it would hurt the houndour, but that didn't matter. All that mattered was his necklace.

| Zera flailed as he was sent flying through the air, only to be met with yet another powerful force and slammed into the Abomasnow's stomach. The beast was knocked off its feet, and Zera landed in the snow, his eyes barely open as he attempted to resist the urge to black out. His whole body was hurting now, and his shoulder screamed with pain. The houndour attempted to move, but found that he could only curl into a ball and could move no longer. The beast forced itself back up, before glaring at the Glaceon, obviously not happy with this situation. The beast looked to the houndour and then to the glaceon, "Don't move." it growled, lifting a heavy foot over the houndour, "Or your friend gets squished into a pancake."
Although Zera couldn't move, he could till breathe. A thin purple fog began emitting from his mouth again, leaking from it rather than him actually breathing it.

| Sova watched as the houndour projectile plan backfired on the abomasnow, beginning a slow walk towards the enemy. Though he was halted as he watched it raise a foot over the houndour. He couldn't hear what it was saying, nor did he care. It was actually because he didn't care that he didn't hear. He was planning on seeing who was faster, himself or the abomasnow, not willing to risk the safety of his necklace for the life of the houndour, when a better option presented its self. A familiar purple gas became visible around the houndour. Perhaps he didn't need to take immediate action. He grinned deviously as he awaited a, to him, inevitable explosion of fire that would send the abomasnow recoiling back long enough for him to get to it and start ripping it apart. | |

| The abomasnow seemed to be uneasy that the Glaceon was grinning, "Ok, now, you're going to give me everything you have, that Necklace too, it looked like it was valuabl-huh?" the abomasnow noticed the strange smell and looked down, seeing that a purple gas had coated the entirety of his lower half, "The He-" Zera managed to cough up a flame, it was a small one, but it was enough for the flammable gas to catch fire and burst into the flammable bomb that the Houndour had formed. The snowy beast gave a bellow as he fell backwards, burned and damaged, no longer threatening to stomp on the houndour as it attempted to soothe its own burns with snow. | |

| "Yeah sure take the cracked stone on a string it's super valuable"
Sova's hearing returned, just enough to hear threats....all the more reason to hit this abomasnow as hard as he could. Then something else was processed by his ears. A mention of his necklace.... A demand for it? Why would someone demand something they already had? Then it hit him. Clearly, the abomasnow didn't have his necklace.... But he would have to worry about it in a few seconds. He would give himself ten seconds to knock this thug out. Ten seconds was all he would need. Then he was going to find his necklace.
He dug through his bag and took out three seeds, holding them in his mouth and biting down on them. Two were Blast Seeds and one was a Quick Seed. 1, 2, 3 seconds. It only took an extra second to get to the enemy with a Quick Seed and Quick Attack assisting him, 4, though his Quick Attack felt oddly different.... He skidded to a stop by its head as it attempted to get up, spinning and slamming his spiky tail into its head, knocking it back to the ground and knocking up a flurry of snow. 5, 6, 7....
He put a paw onto its chest, then another, lifted himself onto the abomasnow so he was standing on top of it and could see its face. 8, 9.... Then he opened his mouth and blew on its face, letting loose flames onto it at point blank range.
10.

| While the Glaceon was off kicking butt, Zera had been reduced back to his condition from the fight with Sova, except worse. It was a struggle to keep his eyes open, and his breathing felt labored. The houndour could only lay on the ground and stare ahead of him, one would consider him lucky that the abomasnow didn't fall on him. The hound noticed ahead of him a weavile that held something that had belonged to the Glaceon. It had stolen from Boss, he noticed. The hound struggled, trying to get up and attack the weavile despite his terrible condition, but only succeeded in falling back down again. | |
