| First topic message reminder :- Spoiler:
The ones I was tasked to look over have gone astray. Solrock hoped to rescue Lunatone from despair and depravity, but is not up to the task. Before night falls and Lunatone wakes, rescue Solrock.
» Client: Xatu » Objective: Rescue Solrock » Place: Scorchfall Desert » Restrictions: Can only be completed during the day » Difficulty: [F] » Reward: 150 poke » Exploration Points: 10
Across the sandy dunes and stretches of seemingly normal desert, the rising sun had peaked just over the horizon, dyeing the desert golden in it’s morning light. The sky was a light, soft pink. The only disturbance came from the dunes, which cast long, faint shadows over the golden desert when the light hit them. A small Vulpix looked over the sight with an unreadable expression. Job number two, and it had taken her to Scorchfall Desert. She had to admit, she hadn’t been here before... And that was probably why she had underestimated this place. Just coming here had tired her out (although the Oran Berry she had scarfed down recently had helped). The fact that she needed to move quickly hadn’t helped save her energy, since she had to get here before night fell. A Solrock was in this Mystery Dungeon, somewhere. And she needed to find, and save it, before a Lunatone it was trying to save took it out. It was a bit of a sad tale, honestly, but the Vulpix supposed things like that came with the career. Though she felt a bit of sympathy for her client, she wasn’t going to cry them a river - she didn’t know them personally. She was just here to do a job. Shifting her shoulders to adjust her bag, Lumina looked out over the golden desert. She needed to find Solrock before nightfall, and while it was only sunrise now, her time wasn’t infinite. She needed to make tracks, and save the Solrock from their own doomed quest. ... A bit morbid, wasn’t this? Energy: 14 (20 - 16 from entering the Mystery Dungeon = 4, + 10 from eating an Oran Berry = 14)

| Noel nodded as she decided to rush over as she made her way to the dune getting over it seemed kinda steep so she jumped up it landing on the side wasting no time making it to the top "huh training with trees helps" she says to herself as she looked around a soulrock would be really hard to spot in the desert so she stoop upright staring around her eyes glowing blue as she had attempted to use her sense in a more concentrated type as she scanned around the desert but not finding much in the terms of aura she decided to switch back to regular sense and scanned that

| Slowly, she trekked up the dune, squinting her eyes against the desert sun. She planted her paws in the sand firmly, because while the dune wasn't steep enough for her to slide down, the sand that it was made up of could've easily slipped and sent her back to the bottom. Lumina didn't really want to climb this thing twice.
On the bright side, once she was up, the sight was a pretty one. The sun had risen just enough so that the colours in the sky were now simply wisps. It wasn't sunrise now as much as it was very early morning, and instead of golden, the sand just looked like a very pale yellow. It wasn't as nice as it was at sunrise, but it was good enough to make the climb worth it.
Focus, Lumina. You're not here for sightseeing. Her thoughts chimed in, reminding her of their mission. The Vulpix scanned the area around her, but saw no sign of the Rock type. "No luck, huh." She murmured, shrugging. She couldn't say she expected to find their target so soon, but it had been worth a shot. "Noel? Do you see anything?" She asked, just in case she'd seen something Lumina hadn't.

| Lumina copied the Riolu, skidding down the sand dune. For a moment she lost her balance, but she luckily managed to make it to the bottom of the dune without injury. She narrowed her eyes, squinting, trying to make out whatever it was Noel had seen - she was pretty sure that she saw something, too, now that she was down here. "... is that the Diglett from before?" She wondered, seeing a small brown Pokemon half-buried in the ground. | |

| Noel looked at it "yup it's the same his aura is the same color that's to rare to be a coincidence" she says as she notices the diglet has two more items one of them a small disk and the other a seed Noel decides to play this game "I got this" she says as she walks to the middle between each hole the diglet had made "he.might be mad that.you cheated" she yelled in a sarcastic voice.
The.diglet was doing the same thing so Noel decided to play along but right as the diglet pops out of the first hole Noel had grabbed him with a smirk "don't mess with aura" she says as she takes the two items from the diglet as it borrows away the seed was a reviver seed and the small disc had stealth rock on it "pretty rare" she murmured to herself as she pockets the items

| Lumina nodded sheepishly, the Diglett probably wouldn't like how she cheated at their little game. Then again, Noel could've been cheating too. Was she using it's aura to see where it would pop up next? That was what the Vulpix suspected she was doing, but she couldn't prove it. She was either doing that or she was rather skilled at whack-a-mole, for she caught the Diglett very quickly.
The Vulpix didn't interfere, not wanting the Diglett to get mad or turn hostile. "Thank you." She called to the Ground type, forcing a grateful tone, before looking over at Noel. "You can keep that seed and the TM, since I kept the box. You won them, after all." She decided quickly.

| Noel nods "thanks" she says as she looks at the seed this would come in handy if she ever got knocked out hoping that would never happen she then looked at the disc she didn't know if she could learn this move but still keeping it would be a good idea.
She then looked at lumina with a confused look "that Pokemon had a feral aura but didn't attack" she said she had realized that when she used it to sense him though she didn't feel that was cheating it was something she had since birth "guess not all feral Pokemon are cut from the same cloth" she says voicing her opinion as she kept looking around for who then needed to find.

| Lumina nodded in agreement, giving it some thought. Of course, feral Pokemon probably all fought for different reasons. She would guess that some wanted to protect their territory, some just liked fighting, some wanted to get stronger, maybe some wanted the items that explorers carried. Then there are those who just liked to compete. Though what she did know from experience was that you could very rarely reason with them.
Then some feral Pokemon, probably like the Lunatone now was, just wanted to cause suffering and mayhem. For a brief second, the Fox Pokemon pondered on what could've driven the moon-shaped Pokemon into, as the job request had put it, 'despair and depravity'.
Lumina forced her paws to keep moving forward, despite the hot sand under her paw pads. It wasn't too bad for her, since she was a Fire type, and she was naturally good with hot temperatures and weather. "Hmm... if I was looking for a sleeping Lunatone, where would I go...?" The Vulpix murmured, thinking about this. But she couldn't think up a good answer to this question, for all she saw was the desert around her.

| "Hmm? Where are you going?" Lumina asked, her companion's sudden shift in direction taking her by surprise. She followed after Noel, her ears perked intently. "Have you found anything?" She wondered if they'd found the Solrock, although she doubted that they'd be that lucky. It was more likely they'd found an item, or even another feral Pokemon. If that was the case, whoever it was probably wouldn't be as nice as that Diglett. | |

| Noel had walked forward until she reached a large folate area "what the" she mutters as she then walks and sees three items one of them a disc like the one she had found and two pieces of candy?
She then made her way to the middle in just that second her reflexes kicked in as she ducked that saved her a hit to the back but it did hit the sandile that had tried to charge her from the sand as she jumps back "dang" she says as she gets into a fighting stance "we don't have time for this" she says slightly calm she had thought she sensed a none feral Pokemon but this was obviously feral Pokemon so what did

| "Candy...? What's that doing here?" Lumina blinked, unsure of what two of the sugary treats were doing in the middle of a Mystery Dungeon, of all places. The TM, that didn't confuse her as much, you could find them occasionally. But candy? "You can keep the candy and the TM, if you want. I'm not sure what I'd do with either of those." She added, managing to hide her bewilderment this time.
"But you're right... we have more important things to worry about." The Vulpix nodded, eyeing the Sandile that had crawled out from the sandy ground. It was quickly joined by a Sandslash who was sneering at the two of them, the spikes on it's back bristling.

| "Ya it's strange I found some in shadowhue" she says as she pulls out a piece of the same candy from her bag and shows it to lumina as she turns they face the two enemies Noel lowered her stance "I don't think they are going to let us go without a fight"
"Ok two on two I'll take out the sandslash you focus on the sandile sound good?" She had mostly decided on that paring because of how they stood Noel knew how to fight Pokemon with two legs and had assumed that lumina knew more about four legged fights.

| "Wouldn't it be better for me to take the Sandslash? You have a type advantage on the Sandile." The Vulpix replied, not understanding Noel's reasoning, but the two feral Pokemon wouldn't wait for them to finish their debate. The Sandslash lunged at Noel, it's claws pointed towards her, trying to scratch or even impale the Riolu.
Meanwhile, the Sandile had locked it's fangs around Lumina's foreleg, taking her by surprise. The Vulpix scolded herself for that, she hated it when she let herself get caught unaware like that. It was only her own fault, wasn't it? She fired a few Embers at the dual typed crocodile, hoping to make it loosen it's grip.

| Noel was about to voice why but she didn't get a shot the feral Pokemon had chosen another reason Noel decided it like that was she knew they would attack the one they were stronger towards and if one of us missed or was late the other would pay so Noel decided to lead the sandslash away dodging each strike and attacking with her own.
They kept this dance up until Noel had ducked below one of the sandslashes overhead cuts not missing a beat she then charged her fist and slammed her fist right into the Sandslash and knocked it backwards quite the distance as it had landed right over a dune and a rolling sound could be heard for a while until it got quiet and stopped "talk about you one hit knockouts" Noel said as she went to help lumina.
