The Dark One Rises [Site Plot Event 2015]

It's a normal day in the world of pokemon, the townsfolk of Grassveil, Rainfront, Aileron and even the Grima Outpost has been relatively peaceful. Everyone has been happy, and the guilds have been simply been going about its business as normal. However, something...peculiar seems to be happening. Pokemon are going missing, when and if they're found, they seem to be completely out of their mind! They retain no memories and attack everything that moves, nobody knows what's happening, but it's happening more and more frequently.

It has been discovered that close contact with the other Pokemon will spread this strange happening. It does not seem to be an illness, but more of a contagious loss of the mind. Pokemon have become petrified in fear, and locked themselves within their homes. What could possibly be going on!?

Dark clouds have gathered all across the region, blocking the view of the sky and making it difficult for the sun to touch the pure lands beneath it. The mysterious wanderer, Xatu, has returned. He bears words of wisdom to those seeking to correct this strange catastrophe. However, the bird seems to be acting a bit strangely, he seems to be more straight forward rather than cryptic. Has the strange illness affected him too?

"I know not much of what is happening, but there appears to be dark powers at work...seek out the Melody of Awakening within the house of haunts, wind the box thrice in the Chamber before stepping foot near the throne and it shall be there that you find the solution."

The xatu refuses to say anything beyond this, and merely looks up at the sky, longing for the sun to show itself once more.

What's this? Xatu appears to have some strange mumbling while staring at where the sun should be...

"Music...awakening...chateau two....passageway three...crank thrice...pickles is wrong...I didn't deliver the cookie..."

He's lost it hasn't he?

Seems like Xatu hasn't said all he has to say quite just yet. With how...inspirational, his previous mutterings were, I'm sure we can expect nothing less...

"Five little skiddo...clouds of oran...three bright seeds...all it needs...cookie...pickle...banana...? ...no...pickle is first..."

...anyways. Carry on. Nothing's getting any better standing around listening to some crazed mutterings.

Things seem to be getting worse as nothing is done about the event, pokemon are becoming desperate for this to stop and prizes are being offered to those that can decipher Xatu's riddle and do what he says!

"An unfortunate soul has triggered the trap of the box I had forewarned you about...it is now safe for all to reveal the evil doer....pickles."

The event has been resolved, Darkrai has been awoken!
