» Likes:
Stubborn pokemon, he has a bit of a love-hate relation ship with these kind of pokemon, for he likes them as a challenge to fight and a way to get stronger.

Becoming Stronger, it is his dream to return to his herd and take out the leader, and thus taking it over.

Being the Leader, he favors having a leader role, feeling that it prepares him for taking over the herd for when/if he returns or even just making his own.

» Dislikes:
Stubborn pokemon, as said before, he has a love-hate relationship, he dislikes them as well because he prefers to be the leader and decision maker. If he doesn't get to choose what to do, then its likely he's not even going to listen to the other.

Elderly, the elderly always seem to tell him what to do, along with the fact that he was thrown out of his herd because of an elderly Tyrantrum makes him dislike them even less. He will generally treat them with great disrespect.

Being Ordered Around, as can be inferred from the above, he hates being told what to do. Zephyr favors taking on a leader role and having nothing be above his status unless absolutely necessary. He acknowledges that some are of greater power, and usually wont attack them unless antagonized.

» Personality: Zephyr is usually seen as bitter towards others, he claims that he trusts no-one and that he never will, which due to the betrayal of his best friend . He seems to be rather arrogant and wont back down from a challenge, even if it seems to be a one-sided battle, due to his belief that getting stronger means beating stronger opponents. He has the mindset that he can do anything if he tries hard enough and doesn't seem to care much about anything else but strength. Tactics aren't quite a thing for him, as he prefers to smash his head into stuff until it falls over.

» History:
  Zephyr was born into a herd of Nidoqueen and tyrantrums, the group lived together peacefully, and Zephyr was living the good life with plenty of food and protection from the dangers of the wild. It was strange for him though, because his mother kept hiding him away whenever a tyrantrum came by their den. Only his sisters, him being the only male of the nest, were allowed to run and play freely. He was only allowed out at night, but then it was boring for him since everyone was asleep. The young nidoran wanted to play with the others and show off his natural strength, deciding one day to sneak out while his mother wasn't looking. It didn't take long before he discovered a tyrunt, it seemed to stare at him and asked him why he was such a darker purple and why his body seemed different from a normal nidoran.
   The Nidoran blinked, and shrugged, not quite understanding that the tyrunt thought he was a female nidoran. The two began talking, and soon they began to play together, the tyrunt seemed to be quite surprised at how strong the nidoran was, and so the ego-inflation began. The Nidoran kept winning mock battles against the tyrunt, and the two swiftly became friends. When dusk came near that day, a tyrantrum found the two playing at the edge of the herd, were nobody had noticed them.
It was the herd's elder, otherwise known as the leader came to see what they were doing. The leader squinted at the two, asking them what they were doing. The tyrunt spoke up, boasting about his new friend and how strong they were. The tyrantrum gave a laugh, and told the two that they needed to head home, night was coming, and bad things come out at night.
   The two agreed upon meeting at the same spot tomorrow, and Zephyr went home to find his mother worried sick about him. She seemed to squeeze him when she hugged him, and when Zephyr asked why, she simply said not to leave the den again.
Rebellious little Zephyr decided to ignore his mother's request, and began to sneak out daily, this time coming back before his mother noticed he was gone. This went on for years, until the leader returned to the two while they were playing and asked the tyrunt, "Say, I've been hearing rumors about a nidoran around here that's purple, my eyes are getting old, but what color your friend?"
   The tyrunt answered, saying "Well, she is purple but-"
   "She? I'm a guy!" Zephyr interrupted, blinking in confusion.
   The tyrunt stared at him, but the leader's face seemed to twist with rage. He gave a loud roar and charged towards Zephyr at top speed with his mouth gaping open as if he were about to eat him up!
   Zephyr tried to fight back, but only ended up being picked up by the leg with sharp jaws and flung a distance from the heard, the tyrunt he had befriended soon joined him.
"Come back again and I'll be picking my teeth of your flesh with your bones!" the leader roared in rage before the two fell into unconsciousness.

   Zephyr came back to consciousness for a brief moment, to feel a stabbing pain in his leg from where the leader had bit him, and to see his "friend" glaring at him with hatred. The tyrunt turned and began to leave him. Zeph tried to move to follow, but his leg failed him and the tyrunt and left his sight, not caring about the friend he had played with for years was being left behind.

   When Zeph awoke completely, he had been taken to a strange place called Grassveil. He was being cared for by a strange pokemon that had seen him and the events in the sky, and brought him to this strange place to have his wounds tended to. He then felt complete and utter hatred towards his herd once he recalled the events. He wanted to get stronger, to defeat the old coot that had ruined his life. He heard of the guild, and rather inflated stories of how strong they were. He decided to go to join it, become an apprentice and get stronger, strong enough to put the old tyrantrum down.

» Other: Zephyr has a permanent bite mark on his hip which is also slightly lame due to the fight with the Tyrantrum.
