| "Uh, yeah, sure, why not I guess..." She may have been one of the most socially awkward creatures in existence, but even Chie realized, that pretending to like the idea would be the best course of action. It wasn't as if she would want for the Teddiursa to remain ignorant, but to teach her all the things she had learned over so many years of nearly uninterrupted reading would be more than just slightly difficult. Why did it always seem like it was the intelligent Pokémon who had to suffer most? Their interpersonal skills often were lacking, they were pressured by the unrealistic expectations imposed upon themselves both by their peers and themselves and in general they tended to be off worse concerning the general wellbeing. | |

| She smiles and giggles "Great! I probably won't know everything you do since you have been around a very long time. But at least I can know a little too know what you are saying to me. "
She skipped away a bit before turning to face Chie as she smiled brightly "lets go berry finding! " she giggles, rocking back and forth on her feet.
For her though a long time was a few years. She had no real idea how long Chie had been around. |

| "Then let's get started I guess. Any direction you would like to start in?" Despite her mastery of book smarts, Chie had little to no idea on how to actually find berries in the physical world. She never really had the need to do so and she didn't believe for it to be particularly exiting either. But now she had been asked to go and help, so there really wasn't much she could say to oject. What would it be like? Probably exhausting. Maybe dangerous too. Was it really that good of an idea to go into the wilderness for a few berries? Maybe they would accidentally find poisonous berries. Or there would be wild Pokémon. And what if the Teddiursa would suddenly come to harm? Everyone would be blaming her. | |

| "Uhhmmmmm.." serenity looked around as she thought. Which direction would they go? Well the way she came from wouldn't work. So..
She smiles and points to the other side of the lake "That way. Let's go that way. " she smiles at Chie, she ratHer enjoyed this ghost's company. Even though she seemed really nervous a lot.
Maybe she just seemed that way and she wasn't really like that. She didn't know. |

| "I guess so. Then shall we depart?" The direction the Normal type decided for appeared to be as good as any other for looking for berries, so the Ghost type saw no reason not to travel in that direction. Well, except for the obvious threats of course. Feral Pokémon, sudden thunderstorms, tripping and breaking a le-...okay, maybe not that. But there certainly were more than enough threats out there in the wilderness. Then again she didn't want to ruin her reputation by refusing to participate in activities with other Pokémon. Why must this world be som complicated? In books it always seemed to be so easy. Another reason to just stay home and read. Just why would anyone voluntarily leave their safe and secure homes? | |

| She smiles and nods "Yeah. Let's get going!" She smiles brightly as she started her walk towards the direction she pointed out. Well...a walk mixed with a few skips as she was enjoying herself.
She soon started to sing "one eggs two eggs three eggs four. Five eggs six eggs seven eggs more! " at each number she would hop to the opposite foot of the one she was just on, resting on that foot if she didn't say another number. |

| Due to a lack of relevant limbs Chie sadly found herself unable to join the game the Teddiursa seemed to be playing. However the Duskull didn't really mind that, never having intended to try and join anyway even if she could. What she did mind however was the Normal type's voice constantly repeating the very same song. But once again she decided not to argue against it out of fear of offending the rather naive Pokémon she was traveling with. She really didn't have many friends, and while she wasn't sure whether she would even want to make friends again, she preferred to keep her options open instead of ruining a friendship and later realizing her mistake. And so she tried to ignore the mindrending sounds emanating from the ursine Pokémon, hoping to find some of those berries soon. | |

| She stops in a small grove after a time, looking around as she actually sniffed a bit too try and see if she could smell any nearby berries. She wasn't exactly all to sure what to do with the duskull, she never really had a friend herself. While the idea of it was fascinating, it also slightly scared her to. She didn't want to lose the duskulls friendship either. She glances back to the duskull, serenity smiling slightly "you like books... right? " |

| Taken aback slightly at the unexpected question, it took the Duskull a while before she managed to answer: "I guess so. Books can take one away to a better world. A world in which you can accompany the characters on an epic journey, on which you get to know about their innermost feelings and worries without having to worry about offending or annoying them by accident. Good always triumphs over evil and if it becomes too much for you to handle, you can just close the book and stop reading at any point. And you can always read the story again, no book will suddenly leave you or die. Books are friends for life and show the possibility of a world that is so much better than the one we live in now." Why had the Teddiursa asked her? Had she done something wrong? Had she been rambling too much again? Was this a test of some sort? Why was everything so complicated? | |

| "What was your favorite book? I've seen them around...but I've never actually read one before. I usually am trying to find something to do...I don't really like sitting still too much."
She smiles a little "And...maybe we can go find a place that has books after we get some berries"

| A smile hushed over the Duskull's bony face. "How could I ever pick a favourite? Books are like children to me. Each wonderful in their own way. And one does not choose favourites among children." Books had been Chie's life for a very long time, so it was to be expected of her to grow attached to them. "I'm not one for going outside much. Mostly I am afraid of meeting other Pokémon I guess." How could anyone not like reading books? Never having read a book before even? There were some things in this world Chie would most likely never understand. Bibliophobia was one of these things - a major one at that. | |

| She smiles and giggles a little, "well, we can go to a place with books maybe after we find some..." Serenity drifted off as she caught a rather sweet smell...she like it a lot.
She moves in the direction of where the smell was coming from, pushing through some bushes as on the other side was a small groves with a few Pecha Berry bushes.
At the sight she smiles brightly and jumps up into the air for her own personal victory "Berries!" she moves foreward to a bush, picking a couple as she plopped down onto the ground to sit, eating them thoughtfully |

| The Duskull chuckled. "Impressive. I couldn't sense them at all. Maybe my lack of a nose is at fault for this." Reading about others' tracking abilities in books was a common occurrence for the Ghost type, but seeing such an ability in action in the wilderness was another thing entirely. Chie almost envied the Normal type for having an ability as impressive as this. She might not be interested in berries at the moment, but such a keen sense of smell would probably be very useful for a wide variety of tasks. But to make up for it the little Bear probably wasn't able to levitate or to move through solid objects. Probably. Or could she? Chie really needed to do some research on this subject matter. | |

| Serenity looks to Chie and smiles, her cheeks full of the delicious berries she was indulging on before she swallowed, "I'm sure you'll be able to find them somehow. I just use my nose because..well...if I didn't I couldn't find food so easily!" She giggles before she plucked a couple more berries. She rather enjoyed Chie's company...and it was kind of interesting how the duskull was so intrigued the things Serenity found normal. Oh well, there were probably things Chie found normal, but Serenity didn't. |

| The Teddiursa kept eating and eating, Chie wondering how so much berry could fit into so little Teddiursa. Even with ghostly intangibility something like this would be difficult. But then again the Duskull had spent most of her time in her library, only eating when absolutely neccessary as for not to be disturbed as often while reading. Maybe she just trained herself to need less food. Or it was some Ghost type thing. Who knew? Maybe there was some book about this kind of topic somewhere. For now however the Ghost type just kept floating in place, unsure what to say. While she personally didn't mind the silence, she had a feeling the Normal type might not be that content with the lack of conversation. | |
