A peaceful day at the pond

Traveling for weeks, Ecru happened to come across a pond. At last, he found a place where he could stay and refresh himself for awhile. He looked around seeing many Pokemon some playing around, some laying in the shade to avoid the sun, and some walking around. None of which he knew, due to him being raised in a desert of course. Though, he did hope they were nice to him if they ever had a need to speak to him. He then decided to take a rest for the day, and walked to a unattended tree away from everyone else. He laid down next to it and stared at everyone from afar, deciding if he would like to go play in the mud near the pond.

Ikuru the growlithe had stumbled upon a lake, he was surprised at how many different types of pokemon were becoming friends. He wanted to make friends too especially with a pokemon he'd never seen before, he looked around and seen an odd looking pokemon who was laying under a tree. He walked over and then asked the pokemon, "Excuse me but can you tell me what pokemon you are?" the growlithe asked the trapinch.

Sitting there, Ecru noticed a Growlithe approach him. I wonder what he wants with me.. he thought to himself. The Growlithe stopped in front of him and asked a question, "Excuse me but can you tell me what Pokemon you are?" Ecru said nothing for a few seconds thinking that it was rather awkward for a Pokemon to ask him what he was, but he guessed that was probably native here. "Oh, I'm a.... Trapinch", he answered with a low voice. He paused thinking he should just introduce himself as well, "I'm Ecru.... what's your name?"

The growlithe replied "Well, the name's Ikuru! sorry I asked such a ridiculous question, I've never seen a species like you before" Growlithe sat down next to the trapinch and sighed "So, I'm new to this place, do you know any places that I can find berries? I REALLY really love to collect berries!" THe growlithe asked the trapinch and waited for a response.

Berries? Ecru thought to himself. He realized he hadn't really seen any berries while traveling to this pond, though he would have liked to have found at least one. "W-well, I just got here.. so I haven't actually seen any berries" he spoke softly somewhat louder then before. "But... if I find any, I could give them to you" he said happy to be of assistance.

"Thanks!" Ikuru wagged his tail happy that he'd became friends with an odd looking pokemon such as himself. He absolutely loved berries! especially the Rawst berries those were his favorite! "Maybe we can become friends and probably join the guild together! I'd really like a partner to explore dungeons with! What do you say? yes or no?" Ikuru said

"J-join the Guild?" Ecru said not really knowing there was a town or Guild around. He thought about it. He remembered hearing back at home, that members of a guild went on adventures to help other Pokemon and sometimes retrieve items for them as well. Though, they had to battle other Pokemon to achieve these goals sometimes too. Joining a guild couldn't be that bad, right? Ecru replied taking a deep breath "S-sure, that would be.. fun." He hoped he could possibly get some fun out of it.

Is this guy shy or something? Ikuru lay down next to the Trapinch "Can I lay down next to you new friend? I'm tired because I've been running around every were" Without any permission Ikuru lay down anyways. He closed his eyes and thought about his mom... Who was she? she was an adventurer too right? hmm... He turned to lay on his back, "So, did you know your mom when you were little Ecru?" The growlithe looked at the trapinch.

"I asked because umm..." The growlithe looked down at his paws "I never actually knew my mum...All I have left of her is this scarf and how I act but!.." Ikuru stood up and wagged his tail "That doesn't matter now! I now have a new guild team member! Err... first I need to start a Guild team first..."

Never really knew his mom? Ecru thought. He got reminded of the fact that there were actually some Pokemon in the world who never really knew their parents. This couldn't be helped of course. "A... guild team... Of course!" Ecru replied, somewhat excited for the whole guild thing now. Thinking of it all was making Ecru pretty excited. "I... I guess we should think of a name first, Ikuru" Ecru kindly suggested. "You know, so we don't... feel stupid going in such a place... without a team name"

Ikuru sat down than licked his paws saying "Hmm I guess you're right! Hmmm...how about team...team rockfowl?! No? That would be an awesome name no?? or do you have any suggestions?" He looked at the trapinch, than thought Wow, he is an odd looking pokemon! What was his species again? hmm before the trapinch could speak, Ikuru spoke again saying "Umm...sorry for being so mean but...What species are you again? I sort of have a little memory loss haha" He laughed nervously

Ecru replied to Ikuru's first question "I... guess, I don't really care much for... names". He actually kind of did but, Rockfowl actually sounded pretty cool, but he didn't want to actually say this out loud to him. I hope this turns out okay Ecru thought. He was then asked another question "It's fine, Well... I'm a Trapinch" He told the clueless Growlithe.

"haha! anyways, Rockfowl should be out name...or maybe Team Zale? or maybe even..." The Growlithe mumbled to himself. He snapped out of it as he noticed it had gotten darker. " Whoa! It's already dark?? Whoa this day sure went by quick!" He looked up. The sky was beautiful the stars were out and most importantly there was actually a full moon too. He looked over at the trapinch "So, Our name? It'll be Rockfowl right? Or are you going to change your mind about the whole, "Guild" being in teams thing?"

Ecru barely noticed it got dark too. He figured they were to busy talking it got dark before they knew it.  He looked up at the sky admiring everything he saw. He always enjoyed seeing beautiful things. Ecru was asked a question and replied cheerfully "Rockfowl's.... fine, and no I guess I could make a team with you... it could be fun...?"
