» Likes:Marshall finds an incredible amount of satisfaction just in feeling accepted into a group. Marshall, who is rather timid in nature, prefers to stay away from competition. As such, his stronger friends and family moved ahead of him, leaving him on his own to keep up with the pack. Marshall was in a constant struggle to prove himself to the others.
Since Marshall stayed away from the competition, he had to survive on what others left behind. He has become accustomed to many kinds of food, but the rarity of a sweet taste has become a favourite of his.

» Dislikes:Large groups. Marshall has a rough time adapting to situations where he is surrounded by Pokemon who he doesn't know personally. This could be traced back to his past, as his unforgiving birthplace of a desert made it difficult to find food. Many Pokemon would seek the rare food, and large-scale fights over it involved many Pokemon and also many injuries. As a result, Marshall usually prefers to be alone, or with a group of Pokemon who he trusts.

» Personality:Marshall is quite a timid and quiet Pokemon. While he would love to be able to befriend many Pokemon, his shy nature usually prevents him from approaching others. His anti socialism also sometimes creates the illusion that he would rather be left alone than to make friends. However, when he does manage to create a friendship, it usually grows very quickly. Marshall is loyal to his friends and can't bear the thought of being left alone.

» History:As a young Trapinch, Marshall grew up in a harsh desert parented by two Flygon. He travelled across the desert with other members of his evolutionary line, constantly searching for signs of civilization. One of Marshall's most vivid memories comes from one night when he was sitting in the sand with his parents. Marshall had asked his parents why they didn't use their wings so they could leave they desert faster, and they replied by saying that they were carrying the whole group on their wings until they could fly for themselves. Because of this, Marshall always dreams of having wings of his own, so that he could help others and carry them on his wings. When the group finally reached civilization, Marshall promised himself that he would join a team so he could grow stronger, and finally sprout his hidden wings.
