Team Tsunami and the x3 Mission Combo!

After waking up in the early morning, the newly formed Team Tsunami duo went right to the mission boards after eating a hearty breakfast. Without even a glance at the rewards listed, Tally and her new teammate Kira picked three missions to take on. With the sun barely risen, the two Pokemon headed out to Pecha Forest in to complete their trio of missions...


As the sky was illuminated by the low morning sun, a Buizel began walking into the Pecha Forest, with three peices of parchment neatly folded and placed in a pocket of her treasure bag. These papers were three missions that Tally the Buizel and Kira the Riolu had decided to do, now that they were both part of Team Tsunami together.

Tally glanced back behind her, waiting for her partner to show up. They weren't too far from each other, so even if the Buizel went ahead they probably wouldn't get separated. Still, Tally didn't want to leave Kira behind. On any other day and with any other partner she would of, but she wanted to make sure sne was acting like a good and proper rescue team would. A team like that would work and coordinate with each other and wouldn't rush. They'd take their time and mke sure their job was done right.

Kira frowned, she had no control over her aura sensing abilities what-so-ever. She looked at the buizel with an unsure look, but spoke, "I'll try..."
The Riolu placed a paw over her chest, the adornments on the side of her head rose as she tried to tap into her aura senses. She failed again and again, and was about to give in after the last try, before suddenly everything looked different. It was dark, her eyes were still closed, but she could still "See" she looked about in this strange state, finally seeing a fox like creature in the distance along with an item on the way. Kira pointed in the direction, happy that she had been able to achieve this feat! The feat came with a cost, the vision disappeared and exploded into massive headache, "Ow!" she yelped, holding her head until the pain subsided.

Mirage, meanwhile, had no clue that she had been detected. Instead she was lost in the possible plans, not expecting team Tsunami to come by out of sheer luck.

Tally watched Kira attempt to activate her species's signature ability, and after a bit of failing Tally began to think that this wasn't going to work, but when Kira pointed her paw at what Tally was sure was Mirage, the Buizel clapped her paws together happily. "Then that direction it-- Hey, you okay?" Kira seemed to now be in pain after using her aura sight. Based on how she was gripping her head, Tally guessed it was a headache. She felt kind of bad. Although it was a success in the end, he suggestion to have Kira use her aura sight let to pain for the Riolu.

Kira shook away the pain and spoke, "I'm fine, just a bit of a recoil...I should probably start training to use it more and maybe it wont cause a headache.." The riolu looked in the direction she had pointed, walking in that direction and directly to where she had found the item. The riolu picked it up to examine it, in her vision it didn't look like Mirage was worried, so she probably didn't think that they were after her at the moment.

Kira was correct in her thoughts, the Zorua had no clue that they were as close as they were. In fact, she thought that she had gone a longer way than she had thought. She really had just ended up going in a complete circle though. Mirage didn't realize this, and instead continued to try and decide what was the most interesting way to go about black mailing them using their bag. Maybe she could make them fight each other for it? Perhaps make them cluck like a torchic and an assortment of crazy things?

"Well, okay. If you say so," Tally said, believing her friend was fine. "Just don't push yourself too hard." The Buizel knew that you need to push yourself to get better, but she hoped that when the Riolu began training her signature ability that she'd be careful to not cause herself severe pain. "Now, let's go!"

The Water-type followed the Riolu once again, but at a more normal pace this time. Tally didn't like to be a follower, but sacrifices had to be made for her team's success, even tiny ones like this. Besides, Kira had a better idea of where she was going.

Tally possesed no supernatural abilities, no aura sight, no powers of illusion. She wished she did, but Buizels had no such abilities other than swimming skills, which made this Buizel kind of jealous, but at least Kira's power was useful right now. Tally sighed while thinking about this and noticed Kira pick something up. "Whatcha got there?" she asked, peering over the Fighting-type's shoulder.

Kira was practically drooling as she found a juicy round apple. She smiled, "I think our luck is picking up...even if only slightly." The riolu held onto the apple, practically hugging it. Apples were her favorite, no way was she going to let this apple go free. If she had to share it she would, but only after a moment of hesitation. Kira was still rather selfish when it came to food, it was natural to her and difficult to resist.

Mirage meanwhile was picking up "her" new bag, she still had not decided what she was going to do with it, but she figured that staying on the ground wasn't a bright idea. The zorua leaped into the nearby tree, becoming rather bored as she tried to figure out just what to do with the bag. So many possibilities and opportunities, but so little chances...

"Ooooh, you better share that!" said Tally, recognising the round red fruit in Kira's paws. Like her partner, Tally too liked apples. Perhaps not as much as the Riolu, but still a good bit. "What do we go with it, though. We've got no place to store it other than in our paws - and possibly stomachs - and I don't want to get it brused or anything. We don't want to take long with it, or else Mirage could get away. Worse comes to worst, we throw it at her....Actually that doesn't sound to bad of an idea.... I mean, no apple for us but we could sneak over and throw it at her head.... But again that means no sweet, juicy apple..." Tally thought out loud, trailing off. She wanted the apple. After all this she wanted something, anything to eat, but anything they had was in the bag which was still in Mirage's paws, and that was mission food!

Kira had a simple solution, she cracked the apple in half with her brick break and gave half to the buizel, "Simple, eat on the way."
The riolu was already taking a chunk out of her side of the apple, and resisted snacking off of her friend's side as well. The riolu partially wished she could just run off with the apple and snack in peace, but she resisted the temptation so she could stay and be a selfless pokemon. She would have hated herself for doing such a thing!

Mirage was still sitting in the tree,like an idiot not doing much else other than waiting for an unfortunate victim to pass by. She still hadn't a clue what to do, but she decided not to worry about it for now. There was no way Team Tsunami could find her in this large forest, at least so she thought.

Tally watched as Kira cut the apple in half with one of her attacks. She frowned for a second as Kira handed her a slice. Even the Buizel knew it was more polite to let the Pokemon who didn't cut the food pick their half, but she trusted her teammate to make the halves as equal as possible. Tally quickly changed that and instead smiled, taking a bite of her half. It was sweet and juicy, just liked she hoped it would be. She chewed and swallowed. "Thank you, Kira. Now, we've got a bag to find and a Zorua to catch. Let's continue. After you!"

Kira nodded, she felt a little tired after that run, although it was being a rather long day. She slowly picked her way forward, being careful to make as little noise as possible so she wouldn't alert the zorua. She found that they were getting closer to the spot she had seen the zorua in, and it was empty. She blinked in confusion, turning around to speak with her partner only to see a large bird like pokemon swooping down on her. She ducked just in time as the bird passed inches above her head. It was the Tranquil!

Mirage saw a head appear beneath her, and leaped down. She was surprised to find that it was a bird pokemon, "Oh snap!" She exclaimed as the bird merely made a roll in the air and dropped off its cargo on the harsh ground. The Zorua screeching in surprise and pain, looking up in fear as she was unsure of just what she had jumped on. Next to her, laid an item...

Tally followed along with almost as much caution as Kira. She wasn't as careful as the Riolu; the Buizel still had a bone to pick with Mirage and thus was a little bit more reckless on how she'd take the tricky fox down. Still, she didn't gove away their location with every step. The noise she made from sneaking was just a bit more noticable than the Riolu's.

As they reached where Kira presumed Mirage was, Tally was surprised to find the black and red Pokemon absent from the area. She looked around, trying to figure out where the Outlaw could've gone, but her search was cut short by a Tranquil swooping down to almost nab the Riolu! Tally noticed it at nearly the same time as Kira did and jumped backwards, but was glad to see that her teammate had ducked in time to not get snatched up by the bird. It flew by, but it wasn't too long that Tally heard someone exclaim something and then begin to screech.

"Woah, was that the outlaw?" Tally asked rhetorically. It's agressive nature made the Buizel instantly assume that the predator was their target. "And how much you wanna bet that that's Mirage over there? Also, you're okay, right?"

"Yes i'm fine," Kira spoke, honest about her current condition, her eyes laid on the zorua and then moved to see the Tranquil swiveling around in the sky to come back at them. The tranquil had a devious look, and matched the picture on the outlaw page. The riolu wondered which one they should go after first, the Tranquil, or the Zorua. Her decision was made for her as the Tranquil landed and the Zorua's appearance began to become similar until it matched exactly.
"Teaming?" she asked under her breath.

Mirage scooped up the item quickly and locked eyes with the flying bird pokemon, a silent but only partial alliance had been made. Mirage's ability activated and she focused on trying to look like the Tranquil, succeeding more than she usually did when she attempted to force the transformation. The two pokemon gave a furious caw without unison and glared at the two pokemon, Mirage on their left and the tranquil on the right. They would have to keep track of them carefully if they wanted to take one down at a time, but lucky for them the Tranquil had decided to stay on the ground until the Zorua got knocked out, so it would be more difficult to find him in the duo if they were to lose track of who was who.

Tally saw Mirage and the Outlaw Tranquil turn into each other, seeming to team up. The Buizrl cursed. "I'll go after the outlaw if you go after Mirage. You have the upper hand against a Dark-type." Tally's dark eyes were focused on the Tranquil on the right, who was the actual outlaw. She made sure to keep a close eye on it. The bird's Flying-type attacks would do a lot of damage to the Riolu, so Tally made it her mission to take it down before it could lay a feather on her partner. "Also, try and snag the bag if you see it!" the Water-Type said, and rushed into battle.

The Buizel's first move was aimed at the Outlaw's wings. Her goal was to cripple it as fast as possible. She spun, tails outstretched, and lauched a few Sonic Booms at the Tranquil's sides, hoping to keep the Tranquil from flying away.

The riolu nodded, despite having an advantage over both of the enemies, the bird knew flying type moves. Kira was a fighting type, getting hit with a simple wing attack would not be a fun at all. The riolu darted towards the Illusion pokemon, preparing a brick break just for the zorua. She had darted around the buizel and under the sonic booms though as she cut off the two pokemon from each other, preventing them from mixing the team up and possibly leaving the battle to luck. The riolu rushed forward, her paw glowing with the power to crush bricks.

The riolu was interrupted though, the illusion had suddenly burst into tears that had a strange sparkle to them. The Fake Tears was meant to make the pokemon hesitate, and Mirage's plan had worked. The riolu stopped as the tears flowed, and the zorua was able to leap away from the attack and put a good distance between her and the riolu. Mirage looked at the fight between the buizel and the tranquil, trying to configure a plan that would confuse the rescue team.

Tally watched Kira and Mirage from the corner of her eye, but perhaps focused on them a bit too much. The first Sonic Boom caught the real Tranquil off guard, hitting it squarely in its right wing. It caused the outlaw to stagger back a bit, making it narrowly dodge the second attack. The Buizel's focus on Mirage's strange crying tactics caused her to not notice the Tranquil's retaliation, and the orange weasel was hit on the side with a Wing Attack from the wing that wasn't hit. Tally, although wasn't horrible injured, was knocked back a bit, but she was able to launch a Water Pulse at the bird's face before it could land another attack. It chirped angrily as Tally clutched the side she was hit on. She felt a little bit of blood, but it didn't feel severe. The wing's cut didn't hurt too bad, but Tally definitely didn't want to be hit again.

The Tranquil, after recovering from the watery blow, came in for another attack. Reacting just in time, Tally ducked out of the way using Quick Attack to give her extra speed. The Tranquil wasn't that fast with a hurt wing and on foot, so was easily able to turn back around. It was coming in for another attack, and when Tally attempted to use the same tactic to dodge again, the Tranquil was able to Detect this move and instead counter it, using Gust to blow the Buizel back. With only one wing the attack was less powerful, but that fact was made up for by the close range to Tally where the attack was used. Again the Buizel was pushed backward, and this time she lost her balance and fell back-first onto the ground.

The riolu chased Mirage around, trying to strike the elusive zorua in disguise with a Brick Break. If she struck the Zorua just once the zorua would become too injured to set up an illusion again. The riolu had been about to strike the zorua, when she noticed her partner fall. The riolu quickly abandoned her target to help her friend. The riolu remained silent as she tried to sneak up from behind the tranquil as quietly as possible but also as quickly as possible and tried to deliver a heavy Brick Break with as much force as she could muster on the tranquil's back.

Mirage finally found that she had been abandoned, and looked back to see the riolu chasing towards the Tranquil and the buizel on her back. The zorua let loose a screech similar to the Tranquil and charged towards the Buizel, her claws on both her and her image glowing brightly as she prepared to attack the buizel!
