Team Tsunami and the x3 Mission Combo!

First topic message reminder :

After waking up in the early morning, the newly formed Team Tsunami duo went right to the mission boards after eating a hearty breakfast. Without even a glance at the rewards listed, Tally and her new teammate Kira picked three missions to take on. With the sun barely risen, the two Pokemon headed out to Pecha Forest in to complete their trio of missions...


As the sky was illuminated by the low morning sun, a Buizel began walking into the Pecha Forest, with three peices of parchment neatly folded and placed in a pocket of her treasure bag. These papers were three missions that Tally the Buizel and Kira the Riolu had decided to do, now that they were both part of Team Tsunami together.

Tally glanced back behind her, waiting for her partner to show up. They weren't too far from each other, so even if the Buizel went ahead they probably wouldn't get separated. Still, Tally didn't want to leave Kira behind. On any other day and with any other partner she would of, but she wanted to make sure sne was acting like a good and proper rescue team would. A team like that would work and coordinate with each other and wouldn't rush. They'd take their time and mke sure their job was done right.

Tally nodded. "Good to here you're okay." Now we really should get our tails - and feathers - in gear. Arceus knows how long we've been at this...." She squinted up at the sky between the blossoming treetops. Although Tally couldn't tell by how much, the sun had risen since Team Tsunami entered the Pecha Forest. She wondered exactly how much time had passed already. She holed it wasn't long; after all this time they had only taken a small step in completing one of their three missions. If this kept up, it was going to take forever!

There was a rustling in the branches of the tree that Kira had bumped into, and the sound of something small falling was muffled by the grass at the trunk. Kira had accidentally dislodged something from the tree! Tally went over to see what is was...

Mirage watched the buizel pick up an item that had fallen from the tree. This was just TOO boring for her. Nothing was happening! She made a snap decision to have been startled by the falling item, she "squawked" in surprise and leaped backwards in a hopping motion. Her yell traveled a fair distance before reaching some unwanted ears..

Kira covered her ears as the strange bird squawked in fear. She bent over as the sound continued to harm her hearing. When the bird finally shut her trap Kira could not help, but to glare at the bird.
"Geez! Calm down it's just a....well...what is it?" Kira looked to her friend, she had not seen even a glimpse of the item that had fallen from the tree's foliage.

Tally picked up a small, round blue berry from the ground and almost droped it when the Tranquil squaked obnoxiously loud. She fumbled with it for a few seconds before regaining control of the berry within her paws. She let out a sigh of relief before glaring angrily at the light gray bird.

"Arceus..." Tally muttered as she held out the fallen fruit for her current partners to see. "It's just an Oran berry." The Buizel popped the berry into her treasure bag and sighed. "Pleeeease never do that again... You've probably woken up the whole forest now..."

Tally was getting a bit bored, and when she was bored, she got irritable. It seriously didn't help that this Tranquil was getting on her nerves. She wanted to find the items she needed fast, without any "help" except Kira's. And if she grew any more angry, perhaps even without her...

The riolu noticed her partner becoming slightly irritable, and she had every right to be. The tranquil was doing nothing to help and was only complaining. A thought popped into her mind though, "If your wing is broken, how are you going to fight? You wont be able to fly or anything and aren't flying types better at moving in the air?" The riolu's face mirrored her confusion. She turned to the tranquil as she spoke, looking for an answer in the tranquil's expression if she did not say it out right.

Mirage reacted quickly, "I still have a beak, a feet, and one other wing. I can still be quick on my feet too. I'm pretty sure I can handle myself out there in combat." She pretended to be slightly offended that the riolu would even think of "calling" her weak indirectly. She hoped that nobody would bring up that her "Wing" would "Heal" better if she just rested and left the battling to the Rescue Team.

Tally nodded at Kira's question. An injured Pokemon shouldn't be fighting. Once before had the Buizel hurt her tail, and it had been a long journey before she was able to rest it. The fighting just made it worse. This Tranquil claiming it was able to fight was ridiculous. It wasn't at full strength and another injury would just make it an even heavier dead weight. She just wanted it to go away, stop complaining, and let the professionals handle this. At least, the closer-to-being-professionals. It seemed to be pretty sentient, too! Why was it living in town, where it was much safer?

Up ahead was a natural crossroads. The trees separated to form two separate paths turning left and right. Tally noticed this, and spoke up about it. "Hey, the path splits here. Should we split up or go together?" She still sounded a bit angry and hoped they'd choose to split up. Kira and herself could go together and hopefully ditch this darned Tranquil altogether.

"Split" Kira Spoke.
"Stay together" Mirage spoke.
The two had conflicting suggestions, Kira wanted to split up. She knew that they could be able to cover more ground, she voiced her idea only to be countered by the tranquil.
"But if we split up, one of us will be alone, and that might be just what the tranquil wants!" Mirage explained, she thought for a moment, what if she got one of them alone? Could she perhaps plant more seeds of doubt that could turn the partners against each other, "But if you think it would be better, I think it would be best for me to go with one of you two..."

"Split. Overruled." Tally added simply after the other two had voiced their opinions. Tally sighed as the Tranquil didn't want to be left alone. What was the danger? The outlaw Tranquil had supposedly already attacked this Pokemon before. What was the point of attacking again? History repeats itself, but the Buizel believed it wouldn't this time. For all they knew, they were heading in the opposite direction from where the outlaw they were hunting was.

"Well.... who wants to take Tranquil, then?" she asked with a exasperated sigh. "How about you go with Kira? I have the treasure bag, so if I go I can easily put things away, and you both can hold hold onto items you find together or something?" The Buizel didn't want to sound like she was giving the birdy burden to her teammate, but in her head this made the most sense.

Kira had been about to agree, when her mind suddenly became slightly unstable and a pulse of strange aura came to her senses. The aura reflected against Tally, identifying her shape as a normal buizel, and then struck the tranquil, who's shape seemed a bit off and familiar.
The riolu turned to the tranquil and growled, "FRAUD" she called, recognizing the shape in her aura-radar which she was still in no control of.
Mirage blinked and turned to see the Riolu coming at her with a Brick Break attack prepared.
The zorua took the opportunity and squawked, "I KNEW IT! SHE'S FERAL! SHE WANTS TO EAT MEEEEE"

Her partner saying that the Tranquil was a fraud was all Tally needed to hear. She had been eagerly awaiting the moment when she would be able to attack this now-much-worse annoyance, and readied an attack she had learned by means of a TM she had bought: Water Pulse. It took a little while to start the new attack, being only a few seconds longer to activate than an attack she was more experienced with. Paws outstretched, the Buizel channeled a sphere of levitating water and then shot it at the Pokemon Kira deemed a foe. Hopefully, if one of the two attacks on the fake Tranquil missed, the other would connect. At this point, Tally's trust in her partner's judgement drowned out the imposter Tranquil's squeals.

Mirage dodged the Brick Break, she would much rather take a water pulse than a Brick Break. She growled as her illusion was ruined and her true form was reviled. Mirage landed semi-gracefully on the ground, still growling and leering.

Kira was not surprised to see the Zorua known as Mirage to appear from the illusion. The riolu huffed, "You can't beat a Riolu's Aura senses when they actually do work."
"Yeah I kind of noticed that Numb-nut" Mirage spit back, "At least i'm not the one that ran into a forty foot tree"
"I'm not the one that..that..."
"Try 'the one that tried turning your friend against you' dearie."
"Shut it!"

Mirage. Would this stupid fox ever leave them alone?! Tally was fed up with this outlaw. She wanted to capture her and lock her up in jail today, no ifs, ands, or buts! The Buizel had had enough. She was going to try and end this now!

"GAAAHHHHH!!! STOP ARGUING AND INSTIGATING AND JUST FIGHT YOU HORRIBLE DIRTY LYING CHEATING ZORUA!!!!"she yelled, fuming. Skittish bird Pokemon could be seen and heard flying away in surprise. "I AM SO SICK OF YOU. JUST GO AWAY FOREVER!!" With that, Tally lunged at Mirage, hoping she'd be able to pin this nuisance down and really teach her a lesson.

Mirage was surprised about the reaction, but amused. She laughed as she dodged the lunge with a side step, "You mad?" she spoke. The zorua knew she had no chance against these two, so she used the riolu that charged towards her as leverage and leaped into a tree. She snickered once more, she began to be enveloped in a red mist as her appearance changed to that of a buizel, at least she hoped it was a buizel, which it was luckily, "Go away forever," she mocked Tallulah before leaping away on the branches, fleeing.

Kira grew red with rage, her paw glowing as she prepared a brick break attack, but as she ran towards the Zorua and moved to punch it, the zorua had leaped onto her arm, then her head. The zorua then used her straightening her back in surprise to catapult itself into a tree. The riolu glared at the Zorua, as it cackled and mocked her friend, "If only I knew my dad's move..." she mumbled, referring to the Lucario's signature move, Aura Sphere.

Tally screamed again at this stupid Zorua! Now she was mocking her, soiling all of Buizel-kind by taking on the mere illusion of her species! Mirage's agile moves were a force to be reckoned with, but that didn't give her any justification! Trying to be quicker than her opponent, Tally launched a barrage of Sonicbooms at the Zorua in the tree.

"Come down here, you coward," Tally said quieter yet equally angry once she stopped attacking. "I've had enough of you."

Kira couldn't blame the buizel for being so angry, but Mirage had already disappeared into the treetops. The riolu huffed, "Why can't she just leave us alone," the riolu was sick of the Zorua's shenanigans. Even though the zorua had only messed with them twice, each time it was big. Kira was just happy that she had not brought her prized mask with her, the Zorua would then have more motivation to stick around.

Mirage laughed as she retreated into the trees, rather clumsily though since she wasn't the best tree climber in the world. The zorua stopped once she was out of hearing distance and sight, wondering if they gave chase. It would be more fun if they chased her, because then she could just lead them to the dens of the stronger pokemon in the area. The thought made her snicker even more.

Tally sighed. "She's gone, isn't she?" she asked, but the Buizel already new the answer. Someday she'd put that horrible Zorua behind bars, but today was probably not that day. Still, at least she was done hindering them by posing as a Pokemon, for now at least. She smirked, as she knew this Pokemon wasn't to be trusted.

"Well then. Let's go," Tally said bluntly. "Whenever you're ready, we can get back to work. Hopefully we can go faster now that she's gone...."
