Team Tsunami and the x3 Mission Combo!

After waking up in the early morning, the newly formed Team Tsunami duo went right to the mission boards after eating a hearty breakfast. Without even a glance at the rewards listed, Tally and her new teammate Kira picked three missions to take on. With the sun barely risen, the two Pokemon headed out to Pecha Forest in to complete their trio of missions...


As the sky was illuminated by the low morning sun, a Buizel began walking into the Pecha Forest, with three peices of parchment neatly folded and placed in a pocket of her treasure bag. These papers were three missions that Tally the Buizel and Kira the Riolu had decided to do, now that they were both part of Team Tsunami together.

Tally glanced back behind her, waiting for her partner to show up. They weren't too far from each other, so even if the Buizel went ahead they probably wouldn't get separated. Still, Tally didn't want to leave Kira behind. On any other day and with any other partner she would of, but she wanted to make sure sne was acting like a good and proper rescue team would. A team like that would work and coordinate with each other and wouldn't rush. They'd take their time and mke sure their job was done right.

The riolu was about to feel betrayed if the buizel had not spoken more. She would have felt that the buizel had tricked her into joining the team just to have someone to go on missions with. She would have felt as if nobody had been a true rescue team that took on dangerous tasks for the sake of helping pokemon. She would have gone back to her auction house, betrayed and broken most likely, and maybe try to rebuild from scratch. The riolu didn't do any of that though, for the buizel had made herself more clear. Kira simply smiled and was about to speak when her aura sent off another pulse, revealing two figures closing in on them.

The zorua had managed to smell them first. She gave a terrified squawk and spoke, "I-I think someone is coming! I heard something coming from over that way..." She pointed her wings ahead of them where two shapes in the distance seemed to be closing the gap between them as quickly as possible. Minions of the tranquil perhaps?

Tally let out a sigh of relief. Her words weren't lies, and with her partner's smile the Buizel knew Kira believed her. It could've been much worse, but everything seemed to have gone better than the water-type expected. Still, the she hadn't had time to relax before both Pokemon traveling with her had sensed foes approaching. Tally prepared for battle, which seemed to be imminent.

Tally took a step forward and almost tripped over something. Looking down at her feet, the weasel noticed a round pink and green berry. Moments after picking it up, two Pokemon popped out of the bushes on either side of the group. They were two brown rodents with large yellow and red eyes, and both of them were staring at the fruit in Tally's hands. They charged at the Watmel berry, jumping for it as the same time. The Buizel stepped back, and the two Patrat clunked their heads together.

"WOAH!" Kira yelled as the two pokemon leaped out of the bushes. She watched as they seems to fight over the Watamel berry, "M-Maybe we should just let them have it? It's just a berry after all..."
The riolu was reminded of the two drilburs that had kidnapped her long ago, they had gotten along harmoniously, were these two patrats not sensing something similar to brotherhood between their species? The riolu wondered if the two drilburs she had met were really brothers, that just so happened to get along, or was it just the difference of the species?

Mirage simply stared with bored eyes as the two scrawny rats fought over a mere berry. They must have been starved, since plucking and eating berries from the tree was dangerous. The zorua would have laughed at how pathetic the two drilburs were, if she had not been in disguise! Mirage forced herself to look concerned, and mimicked a squawk that a Tranquil would make. Even if she was amused by this, she would have to pretend to be terrified.

"Yeah, uh, let's leave 'em be," Tally agreed. She dropped the Watmel Berry onto the ground, and the two rodents began to tussle for it.

Tally watched the two Patrat fight over the berry. Were they from two different groups who were competing over food? Or were they of no affiliation and just fighting because they bith wanted the berry? This made the Buizel think about how the wild, non-sentient Pokemon lived their lives. Did they have friends and enemies? What did they think about, if anything? At that moment, the water type was grateful to have been born with sentience.

To help solve the problem, Tally aimed a sonic boom at the Watmel Berry. The wave sliced right through the middle of it while spraying juice everywhere at the same time.The spherical fruid fell into two pieces, and the Patrat looked at the sliced berry, then at each other, at Tally, and finally back to the berry in silence. They were surprised at what Tally did, and he water-type found it amusing to watch.

The riolu watched the pokemon fight over the food, and stare at Tallulah in surprise when she cut it in half. She wondered if these pokemon were actually registering that Tallulah was suggesting them to share. Kira blinked in wonder as the pokemon picked up the berries and looked at them. Kira wondered if the pokemon would fight each other again for the other half the other patrat had. Kira felt her own stomach growl silently as she watched them quickly eat the berries and disappear into the bushes without a single 'thank you'. Kira kind of wished SHE could have eaten that berry...

Mirage simply observed, the buizel seemed to be one of those goodie two shoes, while the riolu seemed to be as well, but less open about it. The zorua continued to watch, waiting.
"So...when do you think we'll find the bad pokemon?" she asked, concerned.

Tally watched the two Patrat finally take the two berry halves and go their separate ways. She then looked at the "Tranquil", who had basically asked the "Are we there yet?" equivalent to this situation. "We'll find it when we find it," she grumbled. "Or, of course, when it finds us."

An idea formed in the Buizel's head. She had come up with a way to speed up the process of finding the outlaw that would also give her temporary partner a chance to help. "Trainquil, you can fly, right?" the Buizel asked. "Why not fly up and give us a bird's eye view of the forest? We can get this done faster that way."

"F-Fly?" Mirage was thrown off by the question. What was she going to do? She could not actually fly or make herself fly! The zorua thought quickly, "I'm sorry, b-but my wing was injured when I fought with the other tranquil, I-I don't think I could fly..." Mirage used her paw to over her other paw, making the illusion look as if she were covering her "wing" in pain. The Zorua made herself appear disappointed in herslef, "I'm sorry i'm such a burden, but I want to get that bird back for what he did to my nest.."

Kira found herself to be silent during all of this, feeling slightly useless herself seeing as she had nothing to respond to. She instead searched about while the other two spoke, searching for the items they were supposed to be looking for in the first place.

Tally was suspicious. There hadn't been any mention of a wing injury before... She sighed deeply and decided to believe this tranquil.

"Well, okay then...." she said as she looked at their unofficial escort. "Well, should we take a break right now? This outlaw isn't the only reason we're here." The Buizel gestured at her partner Kira who seemed to be searching. "Pechas and Blast Seeds are what we're looking for, so if you want to chip in it would be nice." The Water Type got on her knees and began looking for the items she needed.

"Don't strain yourself too hard, though," she added quickly, hoping her request wouldn't strain the tranquil too much.

Just as the buizel had spoke the words, "Pechas" the riolu had found a Pecha Berry lying on the ground. She picked it up and tossed it into the air and catching it in her paw once more. One pecha down, and what, four to go? The Riolu continued the fruitless search, returning with only that Pecha Berry.

Mirage pretended to assist the pokemon in their search, not actually searching since she did not care if these pokemon finished their mission currently or not. In her mind, she had been analyzing the two's relationship. They had seemed to be good friends, but Tallulah seemed to be more of the leader even though Kira was probably more powerful than the water type pokemon, but how could she use that against them?

Tally grinned as she saw Kira find the Pecha Berry they needed. She held out her paw, ready to catch the berry. "Over here Kira! Throw it over here and I'll put it in the bag!" she called, oblivious to the Tranquil's purposeful lack of effort. Kira had found a fraction of what one of their missions called for, and that was all that mattered. It wasn't a really big deal, but it helped Team Tsunami inch closer to their current goal. Hopefully the rest of the job would be just as easy, if not easier.

Kira tossed the Pecha berry over to the Buizel, "One down," she said happily before returning to her silent stroll. Ever since she had teamed with Tallulah she had been having less and less to say. The newcomer, the Tranquil, had made her feel uneasy and awkward. It wasn't the tranquil that was bothering her, but the unplanned presence was making it feel rather uneasy for her to speak. She refused to voice her concerns, she thought of herself as just feeling anti social for a bit.

Mirage looked to see that Kira had been watching her, when Kira saw that the "Tranquil" had noticed her, the riolu had looked away. The Zorua wondered if the riolu was onto her, did the riolu know her identity? Did her illusion fade away or something? The zorua decided to try something, and moved towards the Buizel, "Your friend keeps looking at me...she isn't carnivorous and hungry is she?"

Tally caught the sweet pink berry and put it in her treasure bag. "....And two more to go," she finished while closing the bag and repositioning it on her shoulder. As the Buizel got up and began walking again, she began to notice Kira staring at the Tranquil, but she didn't say anything and simply watch them from the corner of her eye. Did Kira not trust this bird either?

"Your friend keeps looking at me...she isn't carnivorous and hungry is she?"

The Tranquil had approached Tally and asked her a sort of ridiculous question. "Hungry? Ask her. Carnivorous? I dunno. She's obviously not gonna eat you," she answered with a roll of hwr eyes. "She definitely won't do that; she isn't feral."

"You never know with feral pokemon these days...I thought the other tranquil was just trying to help but..." Mirage allowed her voice to trail off as if in sorrow and swallowed, "You just...can't be too careful, ok?"
Mirage watched the buizel for a reaction, if things went according to the plan, she might be able to tear them apart that very day! It would all depend on planting a seed of doubt on Kira's civility into the buizel's mind.

Meanwhile, Kira was getting farther and farther away, day dream wise. She was busy imagining herself to be someplace else, somewhere made of apples. She began to drool slightly and halted attention of where she was walking, she walked right into a tree even. Embarrassed, the riolu pretended nothing ever happened.

"Well, uhh..."

Tally had to take a moment to come up with a reply to what this Tranquil had said. The Buizel was pretty sure that her partner was completely civilized, but saying so was rather hard. It took quick moment for the correct words to form.

"Kira definitely isn't feral. She told me she once ran a shop, which I guess is a pretty civilized thing to do. And even if she was - which she certainly isn't - you'd have the type advantage. Instinct would probably keep her from messing with you." Tally explained. She deliberately left out the Tranquil's injury in hopes of proving her point better.

Then Tally heard a gentle thud, and when the Buizel looked for its source she found Kira, who had face-planted into a nearby tree. She quickly ran over to her. "You okay?" she asked. This wasn't helping Kira's case in Tally's mind.

Kira nodded, "Yeah Yeah! I'm totally fine!" She said quickly, wanting to brush off her embarrassment. The riolu waved her paw, "We should really get going, you know? The tranquil might have flown off with that noise I made." The riolu could feel the burn of embarrassment run through her. Who would not feel so shameful for day dreaming and running right into a tree that could have been seen a mile away? The Riolu knew nothing of the exchange between Tallulah and the odd newcomer, thinking there was no need to eavesdrop, which was a bit unusual of her.

The fox watched the buizel run to her friend as she pathetically ran into a tree. Mirage rolled her eyes and shook her head, "Arceus, what an idiot" Still, the zorua feigned concern and darted towards the riolu, but not closely like the Buizel had did, since she was supposed to be "cautious" of the Riolu.
