Team Tsunami and the x3 Mission Combo!

After waking up in the early morning, the newly formed Team Tsunami duo went right to the mission boards after eating a hearty breakfast. Without even a glance at the rewards listed, Tally and her new teammate Kira picked three missions to take on. With the sun barely risen, the two Pokemon headed out to Pecha Forest in to complete their trio of missions...


As the sky was illuminated by the low morning sun, a Buizel began walking into the Pecha Forest, with three peices of parchment neatly folded and placed in a pocket of her treasure bag. These papers were three missions that Tally the Buizel and Kira the Riolu had decided to do, now that they were both part of Team Tsunami together.

Tally glanced back behind her, waiting for her partner to show up. They weren't too far from each other, so even if the Buizel went ahead they probably wouldn't get separated. Still, Tally didn't want to leave Kira behind. On any other day and with any other partner she would of, but she wanted to make sure sne was acting like a good and proper rescue team would. A team like that would work and coordinate with each other and wouldn't rush. They'd take their time and mke sure their job was done right.

Tally face-pawed. How could she have lost her bag now? She withdrew her paw and sighed deeply. "Yeah, we'll have to," she responded. Tally didn't want to deal with all four of the pests back there unless she absolutely had to, and hoped she had dropped it on the way there. Tally knew this wasn't the case. If she had it while she was tied up in string, the Water type would of still had it with her when she was cleaned off. She new she didn't drop it just now, so it had to be back where there was a commotion.

The Buizel wiped sweat off her forehead and looked at her partner Kira. "I dunno which direction you ran off with me in. Can you lead us back?" she asked. As much as she hated following, Tally felt she'd get Team Tsunami lost and end up never finding the bag. The guild could probably issue a replacement of need be, but that bag had mission progress in it. She didn't want to make it up. Plus, without the bag it would really slow down progress, since they had to carry multiple tiny items. They'd probably drop their collected items all over the place and dump them if they needed to attack!

Kira felt a bit guilty that she had allowed their possessions to be left behind like that, but she didn't let her guilt show. She had pointed in the direction they had come, "That way, it should be quick if we both use Quick Attack the entire way..you know quick attack right?" The riolu knew of a buizel's ability to learn it, but was unsure if this one still had that rather useful attack. The riolu's sheepish smile faded as they got back to business and her mind was set on returning the bag to the team and then the items to their clients.

Mirage dove into a bush once she had gotten a decent distance away from the pursuing pokemon, and held back a snicker as they ran and flew on past. She had Team Tsunami's bag, she had the fate of their mission in her paws. This bag could be used for many things from blackmail to hiding it and seeing them scurry about in panic, searching for something they would never find. Thoughts continued to go through her mind, amusing her so.

"Quick attack?" Tally repeated. "I dunno. I think I'm at about that level* of strength to use it; to be honest, I haven't even tried." She thought about using Quick Attack by visualizing herself using the attack. Something clicked in the Buizel's brain. Could she use Quick Attack? There was no other way to know than to try it herself!

"I'll try. I have a feeling I can." Tally said. "Lead the way."

The riolu nodded as a familiar white aura surrounded her, she took off into the bushes in a blur as a flash of white streaked from her that would fade quickly. She would be quite easy to follow if the buizel kept up to speed wit her. Kira stopped after a bit to make sure that the buizel was indeed following, there was no point in rushing in for their bag if she was completely alone and unable to fight off a pokemon that could put her to sleep temporarily. The riolu blinked and tilted her head as she waited for her friend.

Meanwhile Mirage was having happy fun times in searching through the rescuers bag, "A map...berries....badge...ooh those berries are pecha!"

Tally returned the nod and did the same visualization she did before. She felt a new energy run through her and began to glow white like her friend. Tally waited for Kira to run ahead a bit in case something went wrong. What if this ended up being a completely different attack and the Buizel harmed her teammate? The chances weren't likely, but Tally wasn't taking any risks.

Tally began to move, first walking and then breaking out into a run. She went fast - too fast! The Water type almost tripped over something on the forest floor. She skidded to a stop, finally halting a good few feet farther than she expected. Dirt covered her feet and she shook it off the best she could, one orange leg at a time. Tally looked ahead. Kira was waiting for her. A smart move, Tally thought while nodding to herself. Even when she worked alone, the weasel knew that two heads were better than one

Reactivating her Quick Attack, Tally ran back up to the Riolu while taking into consideration where she would need to stop. She calculated it correctly and ended up stopping ride beside her waiting friend. "That was kinda cool," she said, brushing herself off. "Ready to get the bag back?"

"Ye-" Kira had spoken. Her words were dragged into the distance and cut off as the riolu darted off with a trail of white blazing behind her. She made quick and sharp dodges around the trees as if she could only go left, right, and forward, since it was a bit difficult to turn completely around without needing some space when one is going at such a speed. The move was a lot faster to travel with, but tiring if used consecutively, which is why the riolu preferred not to travel using that.

Mirage finally grew bored of searching through their stuff, there was nothing of real interest in here. Still, it would be best to keep it with her. The zorua slipped the bag over her neck, and balanced the bag on her back so it did not drag. No need to leave a trail just yet!

Tally continued on in the same manner that Kira was traveling with, but was not used to it enough to maneuver as well as the Riolu. She was able to swerve between trees but often scraped against them a little. She dodged a couple tree trunks in quick succession and became over confident. This lead to her smacking into a tree like her teammate had earlier. Tallulah fell backwards and heard something fall just like before. The Buizel was shaken up and her head hurt. She held it with her paw, blinking a bit. She moaned a bit, looking to see what was dropped.

Kira had been going for quite a while before realizing that her partner was no longer following. The riolu was used to use Quick Attack, having used it several times before. The riolu stopped, waiting. She kept her ears listening in case her friend was ambushed, and trying to force her aura senses to work. She knew that she would need to work on using those more if she was going to be a part of a team. Sensing pokemon and items along with the surroundings would be a useful thing to have along when exploring or rescuing.

Mirage sighed, boredom overcoming her once more. She had been wandering for a bit now, and stopped as she heard a silent thump and the shaking of a tree. Someone had headbutted a tree. She quickly retreated under a bush as she awaited for any more noises that would signify whoever it was, leaving.

Tally found two sticks that were dislodged from their tree in her collision with it. She weilded one in each paw like swords...not that she knew how to properly wield a sword. In fact, she had only heard of them a few times and had never actually seen one other than from pictures. Still, she felt more powerful holding them. Although some might use Sticks as throwing weapons, to her they were her blades. Brittle and not sharp blades, but still blades in the Buizel's head.

Tally picked up the pace with Quick Attack again. Being new to this technique, Tally was getting a bit worn out. Bumping into a tree didn't help either. She tried not to let her fatigue bother her too much. As the saying went, no pain, no gain. You can't get better unless you push yourself. Panting and still wielding the two fallen branches, Tally caught up to Kira.

"S-sorry," Tally said, wiping sweat from her brow. "I'm here now. Did I miss anything?"

"Not TreesBushes...rocks...bark...nothing important" The riolu spoke. She looked to the buizel, "We shouldn't be too far now, since we've come all this way...I just hope that the pokemon or Mirage just decided to leave it alone or didn't notice it..." Without awaiting an answer, since she expected the Riolu to be ready, she darted off with a quick attack. Sand was kicked up slightly from the move, but quickly settled back down. The riolu was growing tired as well despite being used to using the move, it had been a while since she used it this much in a row.

Mirage continued to wait under her bush, keeping her ears perked and listening just in case whoever it was decided to stick around. The zorua listened to only the whispers of the foliage for several moments before declaring it safe. She made her way out of the bush, and noticed a strange item on the ground...

Tally nodded, panting. "'Kay," she said, following behind in her teammate's dust. If Kira was getting worn down, Tally was worse. She hadn't used this attack this much ever. She had just learned it and had been using it in quick succession. Not to mention her head hurt. She had a feeling she'd have sore muscles in the morning, and that would seriously stink. It would take forever to complete missions tomorrow, if they even finished the three they currently had. It was taking a long time and they were making very little progress! A lot of the problem was because of Mirage the Zorua, and the Buizel hoped that Team Tsunami wouldn't have to deal with her on all their future endeavors... Unless it meant capturing Mirage and turning her in for good. That would be an encounter the Buizel would be very happy with.

The riolu came to the area where they had fought the caterpie evolution line along with Mirage, to find it empty. She hung her head and placed her paw over her face, "Mirage must have found it, I don't see why the caterpie and company would take it...." She sighed, they would have to go and hunt down Mirage now! She turned and looked to the buizel, noticing how tired the buizel must be, "We should probably rest a bit before continuing though..." She felt as if it were her fault the buizel must have been tired, since she was the one that had suggested using quick attack the entire time.

Mirage had found a strange seed, a Blast Seed. Usually she would have deemed it worthless and continued on, but she had her own bag now-Team Tsunami's bag. She hummed happily as she picked the seed up and placed it in the bag, wondering just how much she could carry with this thing. She was still not too far from the clearing where the buizel and the riolu were, since she had assumed them to run quite a bit farther before realizing their bag was gone and rush back for it.

As Tally caught up to her teammate at the clearing that they had presumed to had lost the bag in, she sighed, frustrated. "Damn," she cursed after hearing Kira's deduction that Mirage must of took the bag. That was the last thing that she wanted to happen, but deep down inside she knew that that was exactly what was going to happen.

Tally was still tired, but still had both sticks in her hand. She didn't need two. At full energy they might have both proven useful, but unless they planned on staying here for a while, Tally wasn't up for using two at once. Plus, Tally needed a free paw to grab the bag once they got it. Figuring it was the best solution, the Buizel handed Kira one of her two sticks. "Here. It's not much, but it might help," she said. "I have one of my own anyway. They might come in handy."

Kira looked to the skies after accepting the damn stick, not sure on what to do. They could split up and look for Mirage, covering more ground. The plan would only increase the chances of Mirage attacking them one at a time and taking them out that way, or perhaps deceiving them into thinking something else like she had earlier. The Zorua was a tricky one, she always managed to get away and she always managed to find THEM to mess with. Kira wondered why the Zorua had decided to plague them of all teams over a stupid little mask?

Mirage was bored once more. She was waiting for the team now, since it had become boring running away. It would be more interesting to see their reaction to her with the bag, about to drop it into something like a river or perhaps into a hole. Under a boulder and smash all the items, would it be better? Mirage continued to brainstorm ideas while the trees swayed above her.

Tally saw Kira accept the stick and nodded, and then joined the silence. She didn't know what to do either. Still, the leader of Team Tsunami knew that they'd have to think of something fast. Tally had a gut feeling that Mirage was going to do something with the bag. She wanted the black and red fox's grubby paws off her team's bag! Soon, something occured to the Water-type.

"Hey, can you activate your aura sight or something?" Tally asked, breaking the silence. She didn't know if the Riolu's aura sensing abilities were activated randomly or under her control or not, but Tally hoped it was the latter. "Perhaps you could pick up on Mirage's aura. That would help."
